Amid reports of Sean "Diddy" Combs' "pampered" lifestyle in prison, his release date has been pushed back.
The rap music mogul, who is behind bars at New Jersey's FCI Fort Dix serving a 50-month federal prison sentence, is set for release on March 2, 2028, according to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons' inmate records viewed by USA TODAY. The move comes days after that release date was set for Jan. 21, 2028.
USA TODAY has reached out to Combs' rep for comment.
The news also comes after NBC News' report about Combs' life behind bars, revealing the hip-hop producer apparently has fellow inmates cook and clean for him, give him massages, and has access to outside alcohol and a cellphone, considered contraband.

Hyrox, the global endurance fitness race, is revising its protocols after a top athlete soiled herself and was allowed to continue during a competition in Beijing on Sept. 12.
Photos from the indoor competition show Australian Joanna Wietrzyk, the 22-year-old Hyrox world champion, with fecal matter running down her legs during the age 16-24 elite race. Wietzryk won the race with a time of 1:01:23, besting second-place finisher Alyssa McElheny of the United States by 45 seconds.
The incident sparked online outrage over potential health risks, prompting Hyrox co-founder Moritz Furste to release a statement on Monday, Sept. 14 admitting that race organizers failed by not removing Wietryzk from the competition.
"HYROX made a mistake by not reacting immediately during the race," Furste wrote in an Instagram post. "In the end it is my job to foresee these potential incidents – and I did not. Of course, we started improving event processes, plus making rulebook changes immediately. As of this moment, there are new rules and procedures in place to prevent situations like this from happening again."
USA TODAY Sports reached out to Hyrox, Wietrzyk and her coach for comment on Monday morning and did not immediately hear back.

For months, rumors about influencer Charli D'Amelio's relationship with her family have been circulating online, and a recent appearance on Quenlin Blackwell's "Feeding Starving Celebrities" video series seems to have added more fuel to that fire.
In the video uploaded on Sept. 5, D'Amelio, the second-most followed TikToker with close to 160 million followers, starts the episode by surprising Blackwell with a pair of sweatpants from her merch store. As they're talking about her many business ventures, Blackwell then asks her how much money she made from her merch. "Mmm, ain't that the question," D'Amelio responds as she looks into the camera and laughs as she adds, "Wouldn't I like to know."
This comes three months after People confirmed that she is no longer involved in the family's popcorn brand, Be Happy Snacks, and the publication reported that the severed ties are allegedly a result of a financial dispute between her and her parents, Marc and Heidi D'Amelio. A representative for the brand told TMZ that her decision to bow out of the family business was "a formal amicable separation from D'Amelio Brands and D'Amelio Family LLC that everyone agreed to at the time."
TMZ also reported that the separation began in March 2025 and was made official in November 2025, meaning she was out of the company for more than six months before the news broke.
USA TODAY reached out to representatives for Charli D'Amelio and her family for this story, but did not hear back.

Years after their engagement ended in early 2022, Aaron Rodgers is airing out his grievances with ex Shailene Woodley.
On Cam Heyward's "Not Just Football" podcast, the 42-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback alleged the actress, a couple of days after the engagement, expressed interest in being intimate with another unnamed man prior to their wedding.
"(Woodley) maybe felt like she was forced to make a decision; she could have said no," Rodgers, who is now married to a woman named Brittani, mused of the 2020 proposal. "Her story is I ruined her life and gave her crazy depression because I left her, but the actuality is, she told me that (statement) and she took off the ring by March."
USA TODAY has reached out to Woodley for comment.
While it's impossible to ******* yze someone and their private relationship based on one public comment, experts say the situation reflects how feelings about a breakup can linger, especially if they haven't been properly processed.

RB Leipzig suffered a 4-1 defeat away to Como 1907 in their opening Champions League game on 10th September 2026.
Como begin on the front foot, pressing high and putting our boys under pressure from the outset. The first chances fell to Cesc Fàbregas' side.
Maarten Vandevoordt produced a fine save to deny Anastasios Douvikas in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper was beaten two minutes later. Martin Baturina was able to get a shot away from close range inside the penalty area and found the back of the net to put Como 1-0 ahead (15').
RBL almost responded immediately. Straight from the restart, Antonio Nusa found himself one-on-one with Como goalkeeper Jean Butez after getting on the end of a long ball, but his finish was too central and Butez made the save (16').
Leipzig then began to create more opportunities. Andrija Maksimović and Marc Guiu, who were both making their first starts for the club, went close in quick succession. Butez first made an excellent save to keep out Maksimović's curling effort, before Guiu sent a promising header wide just seconds later (36').

USA Rare Earth (NASDAQ: USAR) is quickly becoming one of America's most strategically important mining companies, at least if the economy, technology, and national security count for anything.
Why all the attention? Two words: rare earths. Indeed, rare-earth metals, as their name suggests, are a class of elements that are tough to find in economically useful deposits. They are essential to everything from smartphones and electric vehicles (EVs) to fighter jets and guided missiles, and China controls most of the world's capacity to process them.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
USA Rare Earth is one of only a handful of American companies that control a rare-earth deposit on American soil. Its goal is to extract rare-earth elements from a deposit in Texas, process and separate them domestically, and turn them into permanent magnets for American companies out of its factory in Oklahoma.
For some time, this has been at the heart of USA Rare Earth's growth thesis; none of it is new. What is new, however, is its pending acquisition of Serra Verde, which could turn USA Rare Earth from a would-be miner with an uncertain start date into the owner of an operating rare-earth mine. That deal will likely close before its next earnings report -- expected in early November -- and could set the stage for a huge rally.

The Americans open the World Cup with a a preliminary round-robin matchup against China on Friday, Sept. 4, to kick off Group D play, which features Italy and Czechia, in addition to USA and China.
Team USA has been dominant in this tournament, winning nine of the last 12 FIBA World Cups, including four straight. This year's team will be coached by Kara Lawson and features rising American stars like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers.

Meanwhile, two-time Olympian and Dallas Wings center Li Yueru won't suit up for the Chinese national team at the World Cup because her passport was lost in the mail, preventing her from traveling to Berlin for the international tournament. Yueru helped China capture a silver medal in the 2022 World Cup.

Ana Martinez, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's senior vice president of media and talent relations, told TMZ that a fan reported that someone had attempted to scratch off her name on the star and stole flowers from the makeshift memorial on Aug. 31.
On Sept. 1, crew members with the Hollywood Historic Trust, which maintains the stars on the Walk of Fame, could be seen beginning restoration of Parton's star.
Martinez told ABC 7 that the trust had already planned to replace Parton's star due to existing cracks from its years on the walkway.

Former Notre Dame star Sonia Citron is headed to Berlin.
USA Basketball announced on Monday that the second-year player has been added to the Women's National Team roster for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup. The United States are pursuing their fifth consecutive gold medal when the tournament begins on Friday, Sept. 4.
Citron, who plays for the Washington Mystics, will be joined by Kiki Iriafen to replace two-time World Cup gold medalists A'ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum. The two stars had to back out due to health reasons, which in turn provides Citron her first opportunity to play for the U.S. senior national team on the sport's largest stage.
Citron participated with the USA Women's National training camp in December 2025 so she has been on the radar for a while. An injury prevented her from playing in the World Cup qualifying event in Puerto Rico, but it appears Monday she has finally made her breakthrough to the senior team.
The 6-foot-1 guard was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, and was named an all-star in her first season in the league. Through 37 games this season, she is averaging 16.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.3 ***** ists from the field.

The Atlanta Hawks are staring down a roster that's too bloated and too messy. Right now, the count sits at 17 players, yet the league mandates a strict 15 before the regular season tips off. That creates a brutal math problem for the front office in Atlanta. They can't keep everyone. Two players have to go, and the choice is getting harder by the day.
Reports confirm the team needs to trim the list before training camp opens. Corey Kispert, Buddy Hield, Ryan Nembhard, Devin Carter, and Mouhamed Gueye are all part of the existing group. Each brings complications that make a trade sticky. Kispert holds an undesirable contract that might require Atlanta to attach draft picks just to move him. The team hates doing that, but they have no real choice. The math simply doesn't work otherwise.
Hield is on a deal that expires soon, yet no one wants to pay him nearly $10 million this season. He couldn't even crack the rotation last year. Carter and Nembhard have trade lockouts lasting until late August and mid-September. Gueye is out with a foot injury that will keep him sidelined until November or later. He'll miss the entire preseason. Keeping him on the active list makes no sense for a team that needs to win now.
There's a gaping hole at small forward that needs filling. The current depth chart lists Dyson Daniels at the spot, with Aaron Wiggins and Lu Dort behind him. Dort is capable of playing guard or forward, but he was nearly unusable for OKC during the postseason. Injuries hurt his production during the regular season. Relying on him to be the answer is a risky gamble for Atlanta.
The team should look to swap out a non-contributor like Kispert for a short-term solution. This wouldn't hurt the cap sheet in the long run. A deal with the Denver Nuggets could bring in Cameron Johnson. Johnson gives the Hawks a reliable scorer who can play the position right away. The trade would also include Jericho Sims and a 2028 second-round pick. That move clears the logjam and adds real depth.

It's almost time for football in Eugene. The Oregon Ducks are wrapping up fall camp this week before preparing for the season opener against Boise State at Autzen Stadium on Sept. 5. The expectations are high with one of the most talented rosters in the country.
That sentiment was supported by USA TODAY's ranking of the top 100 college football players heading into the 2026 season. Nine Ducks landed in the rankings, the most of any program. Led by a Heisman-caliber quarterback and armed with plenty of experience in big games, Oregon is one of the frontrunners to win it all this season, but talent can only take a team so far.
The Ducks who made the list were not surprising, but there were a few notable omissions. Evan Stewart, who missed all of last season, didn't make the cut, but given how explosive his offseason has been, he figures to be a major part of the offense again this season. Nose tackle Bear Alexander also didn't make the list, despite the other three veterans up front placing highly.
Let's take a look at where the Ducks fell in USA TODAY's top 100.

Paris Saint-Germain enter the season with the expectation that they should lift their sixth Ligue 1 ******* le in a row. However, this week hasn't been ideal preparation for the campaign. On Sunday, a defeat to RC Lens in the Trophée des Champions was followed by the news that the Parc des Princes was unusable for their opening game against Stade de Rennais, meaning this match would have to take place in Rennes.
Luis Enrique would be without Nuno Mendes for this game due to his suspension after he picked up a red card in the loss to Lens. This meant that summer signing Lucas Digne would be back in the starting line-up for tonight.
L'Équipe expects that Digne will be alone among the new recruits, with the rest of the high-profile summer signings: Maghnes Akliouche, Mika Godts, and Ferran Torres on the bench.

Anna Paquin is sharing an urgent message on the experiences and well-being of young performers after the recent death of Hayden Panettiere.
The "True Blood" actress seemed to pay tribute to Panettiere on what would have been her 37th birthday while speaking about the "damage" child stars who "find themselves prematurely a 'sex object'" experience both in the entertainment industry and beyond.
"It's not a coincidence that so many former, specifically pre-sexualized female, child 'stars' have profoundly sad lives and untimely ends," Paquin, 44, wrote. "We were not as protected by the 'systems' that look great on paper, as we are supposed to be."
USA TODAY has reached out to Paquin's representative for comment.

LIV Golf is not guaranteed to exist once the 2027 season gets underway. After years of enormous contracts, high-profile defections and attempts to disrupt professional golf, the league is now fighting to secure fresh investment and facing serious questions about what comes next.
The 2026 season has arguably been the most turbulent in LIV's short history. Instability followed Brooks Koepka's decision at the end of 2025 to pursue a return to the PGA Tour, while rumors intensified during The Masters that Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund could walk away.
New Orleans has since been postponed, doubts have emerged over the Team Championship, and several players have reportedly indicated privately that they intend to leave after the season, regardless of whether new funding arrives.
LIV did not reach this position because of one decision. Several choices along the way arguably made survival much harder.
