Chadwick Boseman died in August 2020 at 43, following a four-year battle with colon cancer. Now the Black Panther star's family is asking a Los Angeles court to strip his widow, Taylor Simone Ledward, of her role overseeing his estate.
In a petition filed by Kevin and Derrick Boseman, per People, the actor's brothers allege that Ledward — also known as Simone Ledward-Boseman — has failed to properly distribute the remaining ****** ets of Chadwick's estate in the six years since his death, and they're asking the court to remove her as administrator as a result.
"She [Ledward] continues to exercise complete control over his estate without input from Leroy and Carolyn," the petition states, according to the outlet, referring to Chadwick's parents, who are reportedly entitled to 25 percent of his estate. Ledward is entitled to 50 percent, per the filing, because Chadwick died without a will roughly six days after the couple wed in 2020.
