Paola of Belgiumturns 89 this September 11: the Belgian press isn't publishing big special features on her, and so far the official channels also haven't marked the day with a new photo or a public gesture, as they tend to do when it's a milestone birthday. It's been a while since the woman who was queen consort for two decades stepped into the background; she suffered a stroke in 2018, from which she recovered, and now lives a quiet life between Belgium and the south of France.
Her public appearances are now rare; here she is with her husband, Albert II, and the current monarchs, her son, Philippe of the Belgians, and his wife, Queen Mathilde. The picture was taken in 2023 during National Day. (@ Patrick van Katwijk)

Kevin Sorbo does not regret leaving California.
After the Hercules: The Legendary Journeys actor, 67, traded Hollywood for the Sunshine State seven years ago, the MAGA supporter told Fox News in an interview Sunday that part of the reason he left California was that he was "canceled" due to his political beliefs as a conservative Christian — but he had other complaints too.
Sorbo told the right-wing outlet that although he misses the weather, his old house and his local golf course, three factors keep him from returning to the Golden State.
"I mean, here in Florida, yeah, we get five months of pretty high humidity," the Andromeda star acknowledged. "It's pretty hot, but the winters here are really quite amazing. But yeah, there are things I miss, but they can keep their taxes, they can keep their traffic, and they can keep their negativity, I'm done."
He went on to say that Florida has given him more "acceptance" since he relocated with his family.

Beloved British actor Tim Curry has died aged 80.
A cause of death was not immediately available, though Curry had suffered from several health issues since a severe stroke in 2012 left him unable to walk.
Best known for his role as Frank-N-Furter, the "sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania", in the cult musical comedy The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), Curry was considered one of the most charismatic performers of his generation.
Born in Cheshire, England, on 19 April 1946, Curry began his professional acting career in a 1968 West End production of the rock musical Hair shortly after graduating from the University of Birmingham.
He followed that up with roles in stage performances of Shakespeare, Brecht and Stoppard, before the subversive camp classic Rocky Horror launched him to worldwide stardom. It is still considered a classic of musical cinema and continues to run in limited release to this day, making it the longest-running film release of all time.

Earlier this month, Kai Cenat made his return to streaming after a nine-month hiatus. Shortly after, he announced the latest iteration of Streamer University, which is currently underway. While it's great to see Cenat making content again, many of us are still left wondering: What's going on with Vivet?
Vivet is Cenat's clothing brand that he announced back in December 2025 and, by his own admission, was a major reason why he stepped away from streaming for the past few months. He wanted to be able to fully focus on designing his first collection. Yet, outside of some behind the scenes vlogs and product teasers in videos like his recent "EBK" diss track, new information about Vivet's anticipated debut has been relatively scarce.
As we still patiently await Vivet season one, here is everything you need to know about Cenat and his journey with the brand, so far.

When you have over a thousand guests, some are going to do things you might not like. It's just the law of averages. For Taylor Swift, a big wedding at Madison Square Garden doesn't guarantee everything will go perfectly. And though the big night was reportedly very much a success, afterwards, there's been perhaps a little more shared than Swift would have liked.
And now fans are criticizing one guest in particular, Gracie Abrams. Why? Abrams, who attended Swift's wedding, shared a carousel of random pictures after the wedding, including her outfit. So far, so good. She, however, also shared a still of Joe Alwyn and Emma Stone from the 2018 film The Favourite.

Retired Kansas City Chiefs player Mitch Schwartz gave his wife Brooke a helping hand on the way to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding.
Kelce's former teammate Mitch, 37, was spotted carrying his wife Brooke Lynn's breast pump while heading to the power couple's star-studded celebration on Friday, July 3 in New York City.

She may have been the "people's princess," but everyone knows the role Princess Diana treasured most was being mom to her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
The late Princess of Wales wed Prince Charles in a grand ceremony in 1981. The pair welcomed their first child, William Arthur Philip Louis, the following year on June 21, 1982. They then expanded their family with the addition of Henry Charles Albert David on Sept. 15, 1984, before Diana and Charles' tumultuous relationship ended in 1996, four years after they initially separated.
On Aug. 31, 1997, Princess Diana died following a high-speed car accident in the Place de l'Alma underpass in Paris.
In the BBC documentary Diana, 7 Days released in 2017, Prince William recalled "just feeling completely numb, disorientated, dizzy" upon learning about their mother's death.
"You feel very, very confused," William said. "And you keep asking yourself, 'Why me?' All the time, 'Why? What have I done? Why? Why has this happened to us?'"

Rishi Patel has posted a message on his Instagram that seemed to hint at a major event.
The prominent wedding designer, who has previously been rumoured to be working on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, shared an emotional announcement.
"Today, I asked 23 of my colleagues if when they started in the event industry (span of 7 to 45 years), that they would have ever dreamed or imagined they would be part of what we created today. Unanimously the answer was no.
"I can't wait to share what we created," he added, "But for now, I'm just eternally grateful for those who mean more to me than I could ever explain."
Samantha Roberts, who owns a social media agency known for its "strategic orchestration of wedding release rollouts, creating digital moments that ripple across the internet", also posted excitedly about working on the same event.
"Tonight was a career highlight," Roberts gushed. "15 years ago I came to New York because I loved events. I dreamed that one day I'd work events like the one I did tonight."
