Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (NYSE: TSM) has been making huge investments to diversify its production base away from its home island of Taiwan. During its Q2 announcements, Taiwan declared it would invest another $100 billion in its Arizona production facilities, bringing its total to $265 billion. That's a huge move by TSMC, and I think it solidifies the stock as a buy.
If you've got $1,000 sitting around, I can think of few better stocks to pick right now than Taiwan Semiconductor.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
One of the biggest fears investors have historically had with Taiwan Semiconductor is its location just off mainland China. The relationship between Taiwan and China is complex, and rumors of military activity have swirled for decades. Any military action would sink TSMC's stock, as production would be disrupted.
However, that military action also may plunge the world into a war, which would wreck all forms of investing (outside of defense and staples stocks). But with TSMC moving more and more production to the U.S., the risk of a single point of failure is decreasing. Obviously, TSMC's stock would likely plummet, but the business wouldn't be as disrupted as it once was.

The retailer opened 7 new stores during the quarter, bringing its total to 490 locations across 25 states.
However, Sprouts' comparable sales, which include revenue from stores open for at least 60 weeks, declined by 1%. Sprouts faced difficult comparisons to the prior-year quarter, when its competitors' supply chain disruptions drove additional traffic to its stores.

White Sox trade deadline plan after their Luis Castillo deal is an exciting one originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Chicago White Sox were one of the first teams to make a big move at this year's trade deadline, swinging a deal with the Seattle Mariners for starting pitcher Luis Castillo.
They sent prospect Boston Smith, reliever Seranthony Dominguez, and outfielder Nolan Jones to Seattle to acquire Castillo, and the final year and a half of his $108 million contract.
But, after that trade, there are still two days to go before the MLB trade deadline passes. Are the White Sox done? According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the White Sox not only are still looking to add, but they are also still interested in starting pitching upgrades.
"Even after adding right-hander Luis Castillo, the AL Central-leading White Sox remain open to bringing in another starting pitcher, said someone briefed on their plans who spoke on the condition of anonymity to freely discuss deliberations," Rosenthal reports.

The Denver Broncos may be one of the most underrated teams going in to the 2026 season. Despite having a 14-win campaign and a playoff win under their belts in 2025, they continue to be overlooked by pundits and so-called experts.
However, there may be at least one expert who sees past the smoke and mirrors. Kay Adams of FanDuel's "Up and Adams" show believes the Broncos should be considered more seriously.
"All (the Broncos) have done is just get deeper and deeper across the board," Adams said of the team's offseason additions. "And I've said it before: this is the most complete roster, top to bottom, in the NFL. The whole shebang."
Adams attributed the roster due to the trust the front office has placed in the players already under contract. Further into her discussing the Broncos, Adams noted Denver is bringing back all 11 starters on offense and 10 of 11 on defense, making this a formidable lineup.
The Broncos have placed a premium on in-house talent under the Sean Payton/George Paton regime, and there is little doubt that kind of commitment will wane in the future.

Who could have seen this coming? (Everyone.)
Just days after Taysom Hill announced he won't be returning to the New Orleans Saints this season, Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton told Cynthia Frelund and Steve Wyche of NFL Network that Denver will "explore bringing in" Hill.
Payton was coaching the Saints in 2017 when the Green Bay Packers waived Hill, who was a rookie quarterback at the time. Payton decided to claim him off waivers after watching film of another Packers player.
"I was looking at Max McCaffrey at Green Bay — it was midnight — for a practice squad [spot], and I kept noticing this No. 7 at quarterback," Payton recalled in 2024. "We got more tape, and it was Taysom Hill. There was a play where he scrambled 43 yards for a touchdown. If you watched it, when he got to the end zone, the whole bench emptied ... I called [Jeff] Ireland in, and I said, 'What do you see here? Well, you see a fast quarterback, but then watch what happens afterwards.' So we claimed him at the 11 spot."
Hill went on to total 2,583 rushing yards, 2,417 passing yards, 1,107 receiving yards, 489 kick return yards, 34 touchdown runs, 13 touchdown catches, 12 touchdown passes, 18 special teams tackles, two blocked punts and one special teams recovery as a do-it-all weapon in New Orleans. He also went 7-2 as a fill-in starter at quarterback, but played primarily as a tight end in more recent seasons.

Manchester United are keen on signing Newcastle United's Lewis Hall according to reports.
The Red Devils have been interested in bringing in a new left back to provide cover to Luke Shaw ahead of the new season with United having a much more full fixture list.
According to journalist Andy Mitten in The National, the club are interested in signing the defender with a feeling that the England international would be open to the move.
The main stumbling block would be the price with United missing out on preferred midfield candidates this summer in a bid to keep transfer expenditure low. Indeed, Newcastle will not be happy to sell having already seen Sandro Tonali leave this summer with Bruno Guimarães expected to follow.
Any move would also likely see an exit for teenager Harry Amass who has featured in pre-season so far and has featured seven times for the senior side previously.

Manchester United outcast Joshua Zirkzee is reportedly keen to join Juventus this summer, but the Italians must sell first. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turin giants are facing a race against time to offload unsettled Jonathan David.
David, who joined Juventus on a Bosman deal last summer, endured an underwhelming first season in Serie A. The Canadian striker scored just six goals in 35 league appearances, while it's also worth noting that he fell out of favor with the home crowd at the Allianz Stadium.
Therefore, Juventus have put the former Lille star up for sale. Despite arriving in Turin as one of the most highly rated center-forwards in Europe's top-five leagues, there's currently a shortage of suitors for David, whose future could determine the club's pursuit of Zirkzee.
Meanwhile, Juventus have already signed Jeff Ekhator and are now on the verge of bringing Randal Kolo Muani back to the club, with the latter expected to replace Dusan Vlahovic. However, with Lois Openda gone after a disastrous campaign, Luciano Spalletti is eager to land Zirkzee as well.
The Dutchman made a name for himself at Bologna before earning a big-money move to Man Utd in 2024. Yet, he has never settled in the Premier League. After netting just nine goals in 75 matches for the Red Devils, he has found himself on the fringes at Old Trafford.

The Golden State Warriors missed out on LeBron James and immediately pivoted to filling their roster with familiar names in an attempt to run it back — but they hope they stay healthy this time.
The first order of business was bringing back the heart and soul of their team, four-time All-Star Draymond Green, for his 15th NBA season. Green inked a one-year, $27.7 million contract, a person with direct knowledge of the deal confirmed to USA TODAY Sports.
He averaged 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.5 ***** ists in 27.5 minutes over 68 games during the 2025-26 season. One of his most valuable ***** ets is his level of commitment on the defensive end, where he's compiled nine all-defensive selections and the 2016-17 Defensive Player of the Year award.
After finalizing Green's contract, the Warriors continued to focus on rounding out the roster with guys who know exactly what to bring to the table.
Golden State remains committed to continuity. The Warriors brought back veteran center Al Horford, who turned 40 in June, on a multi-year contract. The team announced Saturday, Aug. 1, it had signed both De'Anthony Melton and Gary Payton II, bringing both back for the 2026-27 season.

Growing up in the heart of Los Angeles, Zoey Deutch was surrounded by the entertainment industry from an early age, but she has worked hard to establish an identity built on her own talent rather than her family's legacy. With a natural screen presence, sharp comedic timing, and an increasingly diverse filmography, Deutch has emerged as one of Hollywood's most versatile actresses. From independent dramas to romantic comedies and major studio productions, she has consistently demonstrated an ability to move effortlessly between genres while maintaining a distinctive charm that resonates with audiences.
Born into a family deeply connected to film and television, Deutch is the daughter of actress Lea Thompson and director Howard Deutch, while her sister, Madelyn Deutch, has also built a successful career as an actress and writer. Despite these influences, Zoey has always embraced her own creative path. Proud of her Southern California roots, she often speaks fondly of growing up in the San Fernando Valley and appreciates the unique experience of living and working in the same city. Her upbringing extended beyond film sets, however. Surrounded by a wide variety of family pets, she developed an appreciation for animals that she believes helped shape her empathy and understanding of different personalities. Years of training in ballet, jazz, tap, modern dance, and hip-hop also instilled discipline, physical awareness, and confidence that later translated naturally into her performances on screen.
Away from acting, Deutch is known for her enthusiasm for food and cooking. She enjoys experimenting with new flavors and recipes and has often spoken about the pleasure she finds in preparing meals for family and friends. Dinner, in particular, holds a special place in her routine, offering an opportunity to slow down, enjoy meaningful conversations, and connect with the people around her. Whether taking on the challenge of cooking a full holiday feast for the first time or discovering unexpected flavor combinations, she approaches food with the same curiosity and enthusiasm that she brings to her creative work.
Although Deutch is open about many of her interests, she also values maintaining a sense of privacy. She prefers allowing audiences to interpret her films for themselves rather than explaining exactly what they should take away from a performance. This thoughtful approach reflects her broader philosophy of letting the work speak for itself. As her career continues to evolve, Zoey Deutch has established herself as far more than Hollywood royalty by **** ociation. Through dedication, versatility, and an authentic passion for storytelling, she continues to earn recognition on her own merits while building a career that promises to remain one of the most exciting of her generation.

Warriors reportedly sign $33M fan favorite, NBA champion, 11-year veteran, son of NBA legend originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Golden State Warriors have had a disappointing offseason, to say the least, and their biggest glimmer of hope came when they were in the running for LeBron James. However, they have had limited options this summer due to their financial restrictions.
The Warriors ultimately missed out on their biggest target in James, but they continued to express interest in bringing back Gary Payton II. Golden State had been pursuing a reunion with the fan-favorite guard for nearly a month.
"Bassey fills the 11th slot on the Warriors' roster. It's anticipated that Green will eventually fill the 12th spot, and there is mutual interest, league sources said, in bringing Gary Payton II back," ESPN's Anthony Slater wrote.
The Warriors' interest in Payton II was significant because of his popularity throughout the Bay Area. On Saturday, Golden State and Payton II reached an agreement on a new deal that will bring him back for the upcoming season.

Could Hill be on his way to the mountains?
Taysom Hill, fantasy football favorite and former New Orleans Saints everyman, announced he wouldn't be returning to the "Big Easy" earlier in the week, leaving the soon-to-be 36-year-old without an NFL home for the first time since 2017.
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton, though, may leave the key under the mat for Hill. Hill developed a reputation of being a Swiss army knife player under Payton's coaching between 2017 and 2021, becoming a versatile weapon in Payton's scheme (and a league-winner in some fantasy football circles).
Payton said on Aug. 1 that he'd consider bringing Hill in if the circumstances are right, adding that he'll likely see Hill at Drew Brees' Hall of Fame enshrinement this coming week.

The Tennessee **** ans took to the field on Saturday for their first public practice of the 2026 season, and while the weather was far from perfect, the fans brought a new energy to the field.
With both fans and media in attendance, the coverage and social media takes picked up, and here at **** ans Wire, we are focused on bringing all of those social media pieces together in a way that creates a snapshot of the practice and how the players performed.
Both JC Latham and Calvin Ridley returned to full activities and were visible throughout the session. In all, it was a solid day to finish off the NFL acclimation period, and now the real competition can begin on Monday when the pads go on.
Here are some of the standouts mentioned on the fourth day of practice.
One of the big keys to the **** ans' season is Ward's development, and that has been on display throughout the early portions of training camp. Ward looked solid on Saturday, and as Austin Stanley of Ato Z Sports points out, he is making some great strides.

Steph Curry and Warriors reportedly eyeing a familiar face after failed LeBron James' pursuit originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Golden State Warriors have spent this offseason watching other teams make the big moves. Steve Kerr's roster missed out on LeBron James, and the front office has mostly stood pat as Steph Curry enters the later stages of his career.
But that quiet approach may not be the full story. According to a new report, Golden State has not ruled out bringing back a familiar face if the right opportunity arises this season.
The update comes from Clutch Points insider Brett Siegel. Sources told Siegel the organization has not fully moved on from the idea of reuniting Curry with Kevin Durant, the two-time Finals MVP who left the Bay Area in 2019.
The Rockets are entering the 2026-27 season looking to contend in the West. If that push falls short, Durant's situation could change quickly—and Golden State would reportedly be ready to act.

Hill saw his first NFL action while playing for Payton in New Orleans in 2017 and would go on to see time as a tight end, quarterback, kick returner and various other offensive roles during their time together. Hill remained with the Saints after Payton left following the 2021 season, but said last week that "returning to New Orleans is not in the cards" this year.
Given the history between Hill and Payton, the Broncos were seen as a possible next stop for Hill and that possibility feels a little more likely with the team set to consider the move.

The Dallas Cowboys didn't have practice on Friday, but that didn't stop COO Stephen Jones from making more news. During his interview on 105.3 The Fan, Jones kept recent trade rumors alive, but it's what he said after the interview that's caused a stir. According to reports, Jones hinted at bringing in a big-time player, a player local to Texas. Immediately reigniting the trade rumors around Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks. Only time will tell if a Brooks or Maxx Crosby trade happens, but now fans can truly say "like father, like son" after Stephen Jones added to the trade fever in Dallas.
But that wasn't the only Cowboys-related news: former quarterback-turned-CBS broadcaster Tony Romo was sidelined by CBS after his July arrest. Once news broke that an open bottle of alcohol was found in his vehicle, it was enough for CBS to make this move. Replacing Romo on the broadcast for now will be former Houston Texan J.J. Watt, leaving Romo's future with the network in limbo until his legal issues are resolved.

The calendar has flipped to August. Which means we're in the annual drought in the NBA's year-round calendar. Don't expect much to happen over the next couple of months. Teams across the league are in vacation mode and just waiting for the 2026-27 season to start.
The Oklahoma City Thunder fell short of a second NBA championship, but remain in the meat of the ****** le conversation. Bringing back mostly the same crew, expect them to be one of the league's top teams for a fourth straight year.
To prepare for the 2026-27 regular season, Thunder Wire will lay out three goals for all 17 players on the roster. OKC has 14 standard players and three two-way players. Let's look at Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and what he could accomplish this upcoming year:
Gilgeous-Alexander has cemented himself as an all-time great with two consecutive MVP awards. One makes you special. A second puts you in even rarer company. Now, asking him to win a third is a little unfair. Only three players have won the prestigious award three straight times — Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell and Larry Bird. All in the 20th century, too. So expecting the 28-year-old to buck that trend is a Herculean task ****** ody in the modern NBA can do.
But staying in the hunt? That's completely possible. Look, Gilgeous-Alexander likely won't win another MVP. Not because his play has taken a step back, but because voters will likely recognize other all-time greats deserve their moment in the sun. If I had to guess, I bet Victor Wembanyama brings home the trophy. That said, as long as he stays in the conversation and is a finalist, he'll continue to add bullet points to his legendary resume.

Everton are in the process of signing ***** nal midfielder Christian Norgaard. With the departure of Idrissa Gana Gueye, there was a vacancy in the squad for a defensive midfielder.
The Danish international made his name with Brentford over six seasons, making 196 appearances and was for the last two seasons before his transfer to ***** nal last summer for £10million, and a further £2m in add-ons.
Under Mikel Arteta at the Gunners, Norgaard only featured 20 times, with just seven of those appearances in the Premier League.
Norgaard would be a classic David Moyes signing, with the 32-year-old bringing Premier League experience and veteran savvy to the squad, along with his work rate and gritty playing style.
Per The Athletic, the transfer fee is about £7million, with an agreement in principle between the two teams and the Dane expected to have his medical next week.

Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes has paid an emotional tribute to Eddie Howe following the manager's departure, describing him as the "king of this club" in a heartfelt social media post.
Howe left St James' Park this week after nearly five years in charge, bringing an end to a spell that saw him guide Newcastle back into the Champions League and end the club's 70-year wait for a major domestic trophy by winning the Carabao Cup in 2025.
Guimaraes, who developed into one of the Premier League's leading midfielders under Howe, shared a message of thanks on Instagram alongside a reel of his former manager.
"King of this club!!"Thanks for everything you've done for us."I loved enjoying our time together. Thanks for making me a better player and person!"No words I can say will really say how much I enjoyed being your player."Wish you all the very best in your future, gaffer."
The tribute comes at a time when Guimaraes' own future remains the subject of speculation, with **** nal continuing to be linked with a move for the Brazil international. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his playing career, the midfielder made sure to acknowledge the role Howe played in his development both on and off the pitch.

Shane Drohan turned in six strong innings in a bounce-back outing, while the Brewers broke the game open with a five-run fifth inning fueled by home runs from Brice Turang and Jake Bauers. After dropping two of three to the Giants to open their California road trip, Milwaukee got back on track tonight with a 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
After neither team managed to score in the first, Bauers and Garrett Mitchell led off the top of the second with back-to-back singles off Angels starter Ryan Johnson. Up next was Cooper Pratt, who slapped a line drive into left field. With Bauers rounding third, Angels left fielder Jose Siri charged the ball in an attempt to gun him down at the plate but couldn't come up with it cleanly. By the time the dust settled, Pratt had reached second, Mitchell advanced to third, and Bauers had scored the Brewers' first run of the game.
Neither team scored again until the fifth, when Johnson walked Pratt to open the frame. Turang then hit a towering fly ball that had just enough carry to clear the center-field fence.
Johnson continued to unravel, allowing Jackson Chourio to single before walking William Contreras to put another rally in motion. He managed just one more out—a sharp lineout off the bat of Christian Yelich—before being pulled in favor of Jose Fermín, whose second pitch to Bauers, a slider low and inside, hung just long enough. Bauers crushed it 424 feet into the seats to make it 6-0, a lead that proved to be more than enough with Drohan on the mound.
Drohan was perfect the first time through the order. In the fourth, he allowed back-to-back singles to Zach Neto and Nolan Schanuel before bouncing back to get Jorge Soler to ground into an inning-ending double play. He surrendered a two-run homer to Denzer Guzman in the fifth, bringing the Angels within four, but retired the side in order in the sixth to finish his night. After allowing five earned runs against Colorado in his previous outing, Drohan responded with one of his better starts of the season, earning his sixth win. He's now gone at least 5 2/3 innings in all six of his starts during the month of July.

While others spend their summers firefighting, Sunderland are quietly and calmly building. Stable ownership, a united dressing room and a coaching staff fully invested in the project have turned the club into one players want to join and more importantly, want to remain.
In years gone by, the reality was very much the opposite; Sunderland were always the club that paid over the odds for bang average players that didn't want to live in the North East but wanted to chase the bright lights of London, or live in the mansions of Cheshire.
Gone are the days of Lee Congerton, Roberto de Fanti and Jim Rodwell struggling through transfer windows under the stewardship of Ellis Short, Stewart Donald and — pardon my French — Charlie Methven, as well as paying over the odds for players like Modibo Diakite, Jozy Altidore, Jack Rodwell and Will Grigg.
Since Kyril Louis-Dreyfus took over, bringing in Kristjaan Speakman alongside a new transfer model, focussing on bringing in young players, realising their potential and selling at a profit, the whole culture of the club has done a full 180, with a squad full of players that want to be at the club, and fewer and fewer instances of our top players searching for moves elsewhere.
Whilst we had a concerning week or so given Chelsea's pursuit of Granit Xhaka in June, the club showed tremendous resolve in keeping hold of the captain and of convincing him that Sunderland is the right place to be.

Jonathan ******* inga's free agency has become less about finding a contract and more about choosing a direction. Just when the Los Angeles Lakers appeared to have positioned themselves as the frontrunner with a concrete sign-and-trade proposal, another Western Conference contender entered the picture.
This time, it's the Minnesota Timberwolves, whose reported interest has added a fresh layer of uncertainty to one of the NBA's longest-running offseason sagas.
The latest development came from NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, who reported that the Timberwolves have shown interest in Jonathan ******* inga. The update arrives after the team missed out on signing LeBron James, with many reports heavily linking them.
At the same time, or around then, another report surfaced, revealing the Lakers' latest push. According to NBA insider Evan Sidery, the Lakers have offered Jonathan ******* inga a three-year, roughly $45 million contract via a sign-and-trade. The offer also includes Jarred Vanderbilt and draft compensation headed to the Atlanta Hawks.
The proposal would pay JK around $15 million annually, bringing the Lakers closer to the financial range that has gradually emerged as his realistic market.

Over the last several months, as Los Angeles Lakers star guard Austin Reaves neared his opportunity to opt out of his contract and cash in on a lucrative new one, many expected him to stay put. He eventually did by agreeing to a four-year, $185 million deal, but the process didn't come without anxiety.
He admitted that there was a point in the negotiations when he doubted he would end up staying with the Lakers. Indeed, the Detroit Pistons were one team that was "coming aggressively" for Reaves in free agency, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. Detroit finished first in the Eastern Conference last season but needed a little more star power and another legitimate scoring threat in its halfcourt game.
Vincent Goodwill of ESPN reported on "NBA Today" that Pistons superstar Cade Cunningham tried to recruit Reaves to the Motor City.
"Banking on internal improvement has been the thought going back from last summer when they didn't make a big move going into the season," Goodwill said. "They want to see how Jalen Duren and Ausar Thompson and Ron Holland would play together and it led to 60 wins. Now you're thinking Detroit was going to go make a big move this past offseason. Cade Cunningham was very involved in the potential recruitment of Austin Reaves. Austin Reaves re-signed with the Lakers. Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving -- those were all names the Pistons were interested in. No moves materialized and now they're going to bank on the restricted free agent of Jalen Duren and Ausar Thompson's extension."
The Pistons have made some incremental moves this summer, including bringing in veteran forwards John Collins, Tobias Harris and Taurean Prince and guard Isaiah Joe. But they have largely been left behind in the arms race that has taken place throughout the Eastern Conference over the past several weeks.

Jordyn Woods went viral for her lucky orange handbag during the New York Knicks' NBA Finals run, but she doesn't want to take the credit for the team's championship win.
The New York Knicks brought home an NBA championship for the first time in 53 years. Throughout their NBA Finals run against the San Antonio Spurs, Woods, who is engaged to Karl-Anthony Towns, wore her citrus bag that gained notoriety for being the reason behind the Knicks' historic win. In an interview with Bustle, she explained why she continued to keep wearing the bag to the NBA games.
"I started wearing it and became really superstitious during the playoffs," Woods said.
Before games, she would post her GRWM (get ready with me) videos where fans continued to ask, "'Where's the bag? Where's the bag?' So then I felt like a responsibility to everyone to keep bringing the bag."

Bibee pitched 7 scoreless innings. The Guardians scored one run off Mitch Bratt. Mitch Bratt who, going into tonight, had a 5.09 xERA, 6.65 xFIP, 7.44 FIP, and a K-BB% of -1.3%. Bratt went 5 innings of 1-run ball, allowing only 3 hits to the mighty Guardians lineup.
Here's the one run of the night.
Bibee left with one out in the 8th after conceding a walk and single to the #8 and #9 guys in Arizona's lineup. The rest of the inning went exactly as you'd expect.
Sabrowski came in to relieve Bibee and went: walk, RBI single, (2-)RBI single. 4 strikes in 10 pitches. Arizona took a 3-1 lead on that second single after Martinez let a ball get by him. Festa came on.
Festa came on in a 2-run game in the 8th with runners on second and third. Instead of bringing on Holderman, Gaddis, or even Cade, he brought on Festa. That should tell you all you need to know about his faith in this offense. Festa gave up another run, and then induced an inning ending double-play.

ATHENS/MADRID, July 31 (Reuters) - Greece battled wildfires on Friday on multiple fronts, from the outskirts of Athens to the central part of the country and on the island of Crete, while France and Spain won some respite after bringing major blazes under control.
Europe has been ravaged by wildfires this summer after successive record-breaking heatwaves, leaving vast stretches of drought-parched vegetation primed to burn, and forcing hundreds of thousands of people to flee their homes.
Residents of two communities west of Athens were advised to evacuate as a precaution as smoke billowed from densely wooded hills surrounding the Greek capital, with authorities scrambling a formation of water-bombing aircraft to extinguish the blaze.
In Boeotia, north-west of Athens, hundreds of residents and visitors were evacuated from a small coastal community aboard coast guard boats and fishing vessels as thick orange smoke blanketed the area.

Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms in principle with Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior as they look to bring him to the Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta's side want the Brazilian and his agency – Roc Nation – will enter into talks with Madrid with a 'monstrous offer' from the Gunners. It appears Vinicius wants to join ****** nal, and a move to North London could be on the cards. The Gunners target has just a year left on his contract with Madrid, and they could look to sign him this summer if an extension is not on the cards.
Signing such a player will be huge for ****** nal given Vinicius' quality and experience. He will improve Arteta's attack significantly, and bringing him to Emirates will also be hugely financially beneficial to the North Londoners.
They will make plenty of money from the sales of his jerseys, and more fans will be eager to pay just to watch him play for the team home and away.
He could be signed on time and join ****** nal on tour, and the team will fancy their chances of hitting the ground running next season with such a player in their ranks.
