For all the celebratory messages of jubilation emanating from the never-ending group of high-profile ****** nal supporters this week – from Sir Keir Starmer and Hugh Lawrie to Piers Morgan and Jess Glynne – Lewis Hamilton’s repost on Instagram was altogether more understated. “COYG,” the 41-year-old said, the common abbreviation for “Come on you Gunners.”
An ****** nal fan since he was five, Hamilton’s football fandom hit the realms of public discourse again four years ago, when he was part of a group of investors which, ultimately, failed to buy Chelsea. Many onlookers seemed stunned, not least Hamilton’s fierce rival Max Verstappen. “I am a PSV fan and I would never buy Ajax,” the Dutchman quipped, before adding: “I thought he was an ****** nal fan? And if you are an ****** nal fan going for Chelsea, that is quite interesting.”
Alas, it never materialised. Hamilton has also dipped his toes in the world of NFL, joining the Denver Broncos ownership group in 2022 after missing out on the Chelsea gig. NFL reportedly to release 2026 regular season schedule next week
We have our first schedule leak of the season. This one is a leak for when the NFL plans to release the schedule. The date will be either Wednesday, May 13th or Thursday, May 14th. So next week.
This event is super fun for me personally, so I’ll be here to cover all of the Denver Broncos related leaks and rumors ahead of the announcements and will, of course, post the full schedule once its announced for discussion. Last year, I think I conservatively predicted a 10 or 11 win season and — for the first time in a decade — had my May prediction completely destroyed by the Broncos.
I’ll try to keep it conservative despite my extreme optimism this year. Hopefully the scheduling algorithm is kind enough to give Denver enough breaks to get those slight advantages teams sometimes get through scheduling.

The son of Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, who played for the Giants in 2004, is getting early looks from two of the league’s most respected offensive minds, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.
“Fresno State QB E.J. Warner has accepted an invite to Broncos rookie camp this week,” Garafolo wrote on X/Twitter. “Warner attended Chiefs rookie camp this past weekend. Sean Payton and Andy Reid getting close looks at the son of Kurt Warner.”
After a season at Rice, E.J. Warner was named Fresno State’s starting quarterback ahead of the 2025 season.
Warner completed 69.3 percent of his passes, throwing for 2,030 yards with 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while posting a 138.4 passer rating.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that E.J. Warner has accepted an invitation to participate in the Broncos' rookie minicamp as a tryout player this weekend. Warner was at the Chiefs' minicamp last weekend for the same purpose.
Warner started 10 games at Fresno State last season and went 192-of-277 for 2,030 yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He was Rice's starter for the 2024 season and spent two seasons as the starter at Temple to kick off his college time.
Warner's father famously worked in a grocery store and played in the Arena League and NFL Europe before getting his chance to start for the Rams in 1999. He won the MVP and the Super Bowl that season, which makes for a tough act to repeat so his son will likely just be focused on earning a spot on a roster or practice squad to start his own career.
