The operator recorded a $940.8 million net loss, compared with $18.4 million a year earlier. The quarter included a $755.7 million loss from changes in warrant liability fair values, while adjusted EBITDA moved to an $18.3 million loss from $14.5 million of income.
At the center of TeraWulf's earnings is the 20-year lease with Anthropic covering approximately 401 MW of critical IT capacity at the Justified Data Campus in Hawesville, Kentucky. The contract represents about $19 billion of revenue during its initial term and could reach $33 billion if Anthropic exercises two five-year extensions.
Initial capacity is slated to start coming online in the second half of 2027, with complete delivery anticipated in early 2028. Justified has about 480 MW of gross power capacity, plus an energized onsite substation and existing high-voltage transmission infrastructure.

Auqib Nabi's impressive rise in domestic cricket has finally earned him a place in India's Test setup, with the Jammu and Kashmir fast bowler drafted into the squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka following Jasprit **** rah's injury.

SpaceX's second-quarter results weren't bad. The company's revenue soared 92% year over year to $7.8 billion, while it cut its net loss nearly in half, landing at $541 million for the period, versus the $1 billion reported in the prior-year quarter. However, there are some worrying signs. Notably, **** eX is spending a small fortune to capitalize on what it perceives as a massive opportunity in artificial intelligence (AI). During the second quarter, **** eX's capex within its AI business was $15.8 billion, more than doubling quarter over quarter. It was also more than six times the capex in its two other operating segments combined.
Management says it will continue to spend heavily on AI over the next few quarters. That's a problem for the company's near-term performance. The market is punishing other corporations that are also spending heavily on AI, even when they generate significantly more revenue and earnings than **** eX and also boast attractive opportunities in this market. Perhaps the spending is justified and will eventually transform **** eX's business. But it's unlikely that we will see a significant return on investment from **** eX's AI-related spending over the next year, which leads me to believe that the stock may fall further and offer investors who believe in its vision an even more attractive entry point.
SpaceX is acquiring Cursor, an AI start-up, for $60 billion. One noteworthy aspect of this deal is that it is an all-stock transaction. Translation: **** eX is diluting existing shareholders by issuing new shares to fund this acquisition. It may be worth it in the long run if Cursor can improve **** eX's AI business, but this transaction may put downward pressure on the stock over the next year or so, especially if many of these new shareholders decide to cash out.

The contract situation between Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has dominated the early portion of training camp, but the quarterback hasn't allowed it to change what he believes this team can accomplish. After spending time at Buccaneers training camp, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler appears to agree with him.
Mayfield told Fowler that despite his disappointment over failed extension talks, his focus remains on leading the Buccaneers and competing for a championship. "I'm a Buccaneer right now. I'm the quarterback for this team," Mayfield said. "[I'm focused on] how can I lead the best way possible, how I can win as many games as possible and how we can win the Super Bowl."
After getting an up-close look at the roster, Fowler came away believing Mayfield's confidence is justified, writing, "Mayfield is right to think this team is well-positioned." There are still major questions surrounding the team, particularly Vita Vea's situation and Mayfield's future beyond 2026. Those issues haven't changed what Mayfield sees in the roster around him, though, and after getting his own look at the Bucs during camp, Fowler seems to agree that this is a team built to compete.

President Donald Trump announced a new round of retaliatory tariffs on July 20 against Canada, invoking the Depression-era Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act in a game of **** for tat that can have no winner.
The administration argues that the new tariffs are necessary to address Canada's harmful discrimination against the United States auto industry, and are justified by Section 338 of Smoot-Hawley. But Section 338 has never been used to impose tariffs before this year. Section 338 was designed to deter foreign retaliation by allowing the President to increase tariffs against a country that had discriminatory tariffs or trade restrictions on American goods.
While there can be no doubt that Canada's 25% tariffs on U.S. autos are discriminatory because they target American goods without putting similar burdens on goods from other countries, the administration's evidence supporting the tariffs is weak at best.
In its Proclamation announcing the new tariffs, the administration claimed that Canada's 25% tariff on U.S. autos and auto parts—enacted days after Trump's April 2, 2025 "Liberation Day" Executive Order announcing new U.S. tariffs on Canada and virtually every other country in the world—unfairly discriminates against the American auto industry, thus "disadvantaging the commerce of the United States compared to the commerce of other countries."
In support of this view, the administration claims that Canadian imports of U.S. autos "fell precipitously" by more than $5 billion, or "approximately 22%," while Canada's imports from Mexico, **** an, Korea, and Germany increased by nearly $3 billion.

Following four-time MVP LeBron James' historic decision to shock the world by joining the Philadelphia 76ers, the news was met with elation by those in the City of Brotherly Love, including Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro, who already officially declared July 24 to be known as LeBron James Day in the state.
And the elation in Philadelphia is more than justified, as the 76ers now have as good a chance as anyone of taking home the 2026-27 NBA championship, with James set to be signed to one of the best value contracts in league history. Lest we forget, although James is now 41, he still put up a 21/7/6 stat line last season while having to share the ball with the likes of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
James will now be signed to a deal that will pay him just $3.9 million next campaign, so we're having a hard time figuring out a player who might give their team a better bang for their buck than James will for Philadelphia next season at that salary.
And that was without even discussing the fact that Philadelphia also managed to get rid of Paul George this offseason, while adding Jaylen Brown and Anfernee Simons. Simply put, the Sixers are going to be an absolute force, at least on the offensive end, next season, and should be seen by everyone as a top ****** le contender.

There has been widespread criticism of the overnight controls, which according to French newspaper L'Equipe were possible due to a court ruling. It was the first application of provisions introduced into French law in 2015.
The independent International Testing Agency (ITA) carries out the controls on behalf of the UCI, but the governing body decided to issue a statement on Wednesday.
"The UCI of course acknowledges that night-time testing can disrupt riders' rest and recovery, and wishes to reiterate that carrying out such controls outside normal hours remains an exceptional measure, reserved for limited and justified circumstances," it read.

The Oklahoma Sooners enter the 2026 season with one of the most talented cornerback duos in college football. Junior Eli Bowen and sophomore Courtland Guillory both earned freshman All-American honors during their first seasons in Norman.
Guillory emerged as a key contributor last season, earning a starting role early in the year while Bowen missed time due to an injury. However, when Bowen returned, it wasn't Guillory's job he took; instead, it was on the opposite side. That was a testament to how impressive the former three-star prospect had been throughout the season.
Guillory finished the year with 41 tackles, one tackle for loss, and seven pass deflections. His performance led On3's J.D. PicKell to suggest Guillory could enter 2026 as the best defensive back in the SEC.
"The one underclassman they're going to play is Courtland Guillory, sophomore corner," PicKell said. "I've said it before, he might be the best DB in the SEC, period. Now, he has to play that way, but I have no reservations about leaving No. 4 out there on an island and letting him do his thing."
Guillory has already shown he belongs among the best young defensive backs in college football, but 2026 will provide his biggest test yet. Playing in the SEC means facing some of the best receivers in the country every week, and Guillory will have plenty of opportunities to prove that PicKell's high praise is justified.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza has backed teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi to emerge as a "generational talent", urging people not to judge the 15-year-old after a difficult start to his international career.

Sooryavanshi endured a challenging debut T20I series in England, scoring 14, 13 and 15 in three appearances as India went down 0-4. The young opener also struggled against Jofra Archer's short-ball, falling to the England pacer twice during the series.

Despite the modest returns, Raza believes the youngster has the ability to become one of the game's brightest stars if his development is managed carefully.

"Vaibhav is a supremely talented cricketer. If a 15-year-old kid is playing international cricket, criticising him after just two or three matches isn't justified," Raza said on JioStar.

"I think Vaibhav has a lot of very good senior cricketers around him. If he is managed and handled well, I think Vaibhav could be a generational talent."

The India opener now returns to Harare, a venue that holds special memories for him after his remarkable 175 off 80 ****** against England in the Under-19 World Cup final in January helped India lift the ****** le.

With Sanju Samson unavailable for the Zimbabwe tour, Sooryavanshi is expected to receive another opportunity at the top of the order when the three-match T20I series gets underway on Thursday.

Raza said the teenager's rise through the ranks at such a young age is already an extraordinary achievement and stressed the importance of nurturing his talent.

"To see what he has done over the last year, what he has done for India Under-19, and the fact that he made his international debut at the same age, these are no small feats by any means.

"You don't get to hear such stories nowadays. Vaibhav is special. It will be important how he is managed and handled," he added.

Looking ahead to the series, Raza rejected suggestions that India would start as overwhelming favourites despite Zimbabwe facing the reigning T20 world champions.

"Both countries will have an equal chance in this series. But one thing I am very sure about is that because Zimbabwe has been playing very consistent and very entertaining cricket, I can say this for sure that this series will be very entertaining," Raza told Star Sports.

Zimbabwe head into the contest with confidence after a series of impressive results, including a memorable 23-run victory over Australia at the ICC T20 World Cup in Colombo in February, a result that played a key role in Australia's surprise group-stage exit. They have also registered wins over Sri Lanka and Bangladesh this year.

"As far as winning or losing is concerned, both countries have an equal chance to win the series," said Raza, who has represented Zimbabwe in 136 T20Is.

The experienced all-rounder acknowledged India's fearless batting approach, saying it can either overwhelm opponents or leave the door open if things do not go according to plan.

Prologis said Monday that its enhanced bid to acquire London-based logistics warehouse operator Segro had been rejected. Prologis' third offer, valued at £13.5 billion ($18.2 billion), represented a 6% increase above its initial proposal and included a 20% cash component.
The latest offer, a 41% premium to Segro's (LSE.SGRO) three-month weighted average share price, would give Segro shareholders .089 new Prologis shares for each share held, with the option to receive up to 20% in cash.
San Francisco-based Prologis (NYSE: PLD) ******* erts that a business combination would give Segro access to a larger logistics real estate network and a lower cost of capital. It previously said Segro trades at a discount because it is required to make dilutive equity issuances to fund its projects. The prior two iterations were all-stock offers.
"Prologis' proposal provides upfront value, greater flexibility and long-term upside opportunity," the Monday news release stated. "SEGRO's standalone plan relies on flawless execution of a significant, long-dated development pipeline, substantial third-party funding and an unjustified valuation."

Milton Williams' four-year, $104 million contract with the Patriots paid him as one of the top defensive tackle's in football.
While the deal was a surprise to some at the time, Williams' play quickly justified the investment.
That was reflected in the latest ESPN survey of coaches, executives and scouts, as Williams was voted the ninth-best defensive tackle in football by more than 70 league evaluators.
Williams' four-year, $104 million free agency deal was eye-opening in March 2025, given he was a rotational lineman with Philadelphia. He validated that investment last season, ranking third among interior linemen in pressure rate (9.6%). He also compiled eight tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in a 12-game campaign that was limited by a high ankle sprain. Williams also led all qualified Patriots defensive linemen in pass rush win rate and run stop win rate last season.
"New England has an anchor up front, and the defense wasn't the same without him," an NFL personnel evaluator said. "Explosive, strong and great effort player. And you can move him all around the defensive front and he can be effective."

Brazil’s World Cup campaign began with a bit of scepticism about how they might perform after a bizarre qualifying campaign and mixed results heading into the tournament. Then things began to improve for Brazil as they battered Haiti 3-0 with goals from Matheus Cunha and Vinícius Júnior. A solid defensive display and a ruthless attack gave Brazil hope, especially against Scotland, where they once again weren’t at their brilliant best, but were able to rely on moments of quality to capitalise on mistakes. A brace from Vinícius Júnior and another goal from Cunha saw them enjoy another 3-0 victory and another clean sheet.
However, it wasn’t the most pleasing of performances for Brazil. Despite that, they still produced a very dominant attacking display, registering an xG of 4.34 compared to Scotland’s 1.05.
