The Sun reports that Markle's half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., has asked for her forgiveness after supporting their father, Thomas Markle Sr., who's facing serious allegations at present.
According to the outlet, he said, "I'm so, so sorry. I now know I have been protecting the wrong person for the past nine years." He now calls the man he defended a "monster," claiming he finally sees the clear picture.
"I now know exactly why you don't talk to him any more and why you won't let him meet Harry or his grandchildren. And I'm ashamed that I spent years taking his side when you fell out with him," he further added.
The half-brother further addressed Markle, acknowledging that they aren't close. However, he remembered the time they spent together during her childhood. He revealed that he held her and looked after her when she was a baby. He also asked her to accept his apology and wished her family well.
