Kim Kardashian's family is putting her relationship with Lewis Hamilton to the test.
"As hot as he and Kim are for each other, Lewis is still little more than a 'friend of the family' when it comes to the rest of the Kardashians," admits a source, adding that the reality TV star's sisters and momager Kris Jenner "still see this phase of the relationship as a trial period" and are "all testing how well Lewis fits in with the family dynamic."
Fortunately, the Formula One driver, 41, is no stranger to performing under pressure.

Logan Henderson was terrific, Jackson Chourio and William Contreras each had multi-hit games, Luis Lara had three RBIs, and all nine starters recorded at least one hit as the Brewers cruised to an 8-2 win over the San Francisco Giants.
It only took the Brewers two batters to put a runner in scoring position, as Brice Turang and Jackson Chourio opened the game with back-to-back singles off Giants starter Landen Roupp. William Contreras grounded into a force at second, putting runners on the corners for Christian Yelich, who hit into an inning-ending double play. Former women's basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton says she has reached a settlement with the University of Virginia after her sudden firing on April 5, a week after leading the Cavaliers to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2000.
Details of the settlement were not made public. Agugua-Hamilton shared a statement about it on her Instagram account after the ****** ociated Press published a story about the settlement.
Agugua-Hamilton and her representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokesperson for Virginia declined to comment.

Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Lewis Hamilton is stepping in to help her 13-year-old daughter North West, who's determined to become a major star no matter what.
"Kim wants Lewis to be a big part of the kids' lives," reveals a source. "And right now, North is the one who needs the most support because she's throwing herself headfirst into this big showbiz career."
The teenager is gearing up to head out on her first headlining tour, a cross-country run with rapper Molly Santana that kicks off in Dallas on Wednesday, August 5 and ends in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 27 after making stops in New York City, Boston, Chicago and more.
"She's doing incredibly well despite all the negativity she gets online and Lewis is constantly reminding her not to lose sight of that," shares the source. Kim Kardashian has explained why she posted photos from a recent vacation around the same time that the death of her grandmother, Mary Jo 'MJ' Shannon, was announced.
On Thursday, the reality TV star uploaded a slideshow of snaps from a trip to the lake with her four children, boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, and sister Khloé Kardashian.
But a short time after the post, Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, shared that her beloved mother MJ had died at the age of 91.
Following online backlash from followers, the All's Fair actress wrote a message in the comments section in which she emphasised that the post had been pre-scheduled by her social media team.
"This post was scheduled a few days ago before we lost MJ, so its timing came right alongside her passing," she wrote. "I've been by my mom and grandma's side this past week, and my heart is completely with my family right now. We love and miss her so deeply, and in the days ahead, we'll be focusing on celebrating her beautiful life."

July 13 (UPI) -- New York Liberty guard/forward Betnijah Laney-Hamilton was ejected during an eventual loss to the Toronto Tempo after she hit guard Marina Mabrey with a shoe.
The incident happened with 1:48 remaining in the 93-91 setback Sunday in Montreal. Laney-Hamilton, who picked up an initial technical foul earlier in the game for a separate incident with Mabrey, said she did not intend to hit her opponent with the shoe.
"I would never intentionally try to hit someone with a shoe, especially while they're not looking," Laney-Hamilton said, according to the New York Post. "Teammate was without a shoe, so I did my best to try and get it to her. Unfortunately, it did hit someone."
Laney-Hamilton was on the bench during the incident. She hit Mabrey in the back with the shoe, which came off teammate Jonquel Jones' foot.
"She was trying to get the shoe back to J.J.," Liberty coach Chris DeMarco told reporters. "It hit somebody. I think we are just making stuff up. ... I just know it was an atrocious end to that game from the officials."

"I've never seen anything like that. We had all the momentum in the world. A shoe hit somebody. Ejected, free throws. I've also never seen a ref make such an atrocious call when he's on the other side of the floor," Liberty coach Chris DeMarco said after the game.

ESPN's Ben Solak named second-year cornerback Keyon Martin as his 2026 breakout candidate for the Ravens, a surprising inclusion among a group that included better-known names like Terry McLaurin and Nolan Smith. Solak admitted that Martin was "perhaps the deepest cut of this entire list" and noted his explosiveness before writing:
Martin is undersized for an NFL corner (5-foot-9, 170 pounds), but new coach Jesse Minter was comfortable playing smaller corners during his time as the Chargers' defensive coordinator. Quick eyes and even quicker feet in zone coverage are Minter's preferred traits, and Martin has those.
At his size, Martin likely can't play anything but the slot. The Ravens do love three-safety sets with Kyle Hamilton in the nickel, but when they want a quicker cover man, Martin has a chance to supplant Chidobe Awuzie as the third corner on the field, keeping Marlon Humphrey on the outside.
Martin impressed as an undrafted rookie last year and could benefit from the Ravens' infusion of secondary coaching talent, including Minter and defensive pass game coordinator Mike Mickens. However, the Ravens' cornerback room has gotten more crowded with the addition of fifth-round pick Chandler Rivers, a strong spring from 2025 UDFA Marquise Robinson, and returns from injury by 2025 Day 3 picks Bilhal Kone and Robert Longerbeam.
