'Til sleep do us part.
From snoring and sleep apnea to staying up late, celebrity couples have a variety of reasons for sleeping in separate bedrooms.
Recently, The Big Bang Theory alum Kaley Cuoco revealed that she and fiancé Tom Pelphrey, whom she called a "night owl," have different sleeping **** es.
"He writes at night. He reads. It's his quiet time," she said during a February 2026 episode of Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast. "So he's up late and wakes up late on a non-working day. We established this from day one. I go to bed early, and I wake up early. We're totally on different sleeping schedules."
Here's everything to know about eight celebrity couples who sleep in different bedrooms.

Halle Berry's daughter, Nahla Aubry, has defended her mother against child abuse allegations.
Last week, the Oscar-winning actress's ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, filed legal documents in which he alleged Berry had recently physically attacked their 12-year-old son Maceo.
A Los Angeles County judge granted the Unfaithful star a temporary restraining order, requiring Berry to stay 100 yards (91 metres) from him until the next hearing on 16 October.
The Catwoman actress denied all allegations made by Martinez, and in a declaration obtained by People on Wednesday, Nahla insisted Berry is a "loving and devoted parent".
"I never observed anything abusive about her parenting," the 18-year-old began. "I have never seen my mom hit, slap, choke, grab, or physically abuse Maceo in any way. I have never seen my mom place her hands around Maceo's neck, put him in a chokehold, restrict his breathing, or engage in any conduct remotely resembling the allegations that have been made against her."
Additionally, Nahla emphasised that Berry has "always made time for" her two children alongside her work commitments and "coordinates" their schedules so they can spend as much time together as possible.

Hayden Panettiere kept the engagement ring Wladimir Klitschko gave her after their relationship ended. Now her loved ones reportedly cannot find it, according to an Oct. 2 report from Us Weekly.
An unnamed source told the publication that friends and family suspect someone who spent time with Panettiere in her final days may have taken the ring while ***** ing her possessions.
The Heroes and Nashville actress died Aug. 16 at 36 in Greenville, South Carolina. The county coroner later ruled her death accidental, caused by the combined toxic effects of several drugs, Fox Carolina reported.
Panettiere and Klitschko's daughter, Kaya, 11, is her mother's sole heir, according to the ***** ociated Press. Her parents never married and ended their relationship in 2018.
Panettiere confirmed the engagement during an Oct. 9, 2013, appearance on Live With Kelly and Michael, after Kelly Ripa asked about the diamond on her hand. She said their schedules had prevented them from setting a wedding date, ABC News reported. Later that month, she told E! News she collaborated with Montblanc, refining ideas from a book of sketches.

Burford Capital Limited (NYSE:BUR) announced on September 14 that its indirect, wholly owned subsidiary, Burford Capital Global Finance LLC, priced $300 million of 8% senior secured notes due 2029. Closing is expected September 17, subject to customary conditions.
Net proceeds and existing cash are intended to redeem the subsidiary's 6.25% unsecured notes due in 2028. The transaction would move this maturity into 2029, with a coupon 175 basis points higher.
The September 14 offering announcement confirmed $400 million of outstanding 2028 notes, making the cash contribution central to the refinancing. Burford Capital Limited (NYSE:BUR) said it expected to issue a conditional notice targeting September 24, 2026, for redemption of all $400 million, subject to successful completion of the $300 million financing.
For Burford Capital Limited (NYSE:BUR), refinancing ahead of maturity creates more room for litigation investments to generate cash. Court proceedings, settlements, and collections follow uncertain schedules. Reducing dependence on a particular realization date could help management preserve investment value.
Redeeming the confirmed $400 million balance with $300 million of replacement notes would reduce gross principal by $100 million. Calculated annual coupons would fall from $25 million to $24 million, before fees and other financing costs.

Federal student loans are, for many students, the best option for covering postsecondary education and related expenses.
With fixed interest rates, clear grace periods and forbearance options, federal loans offer predictable repayment schedules.
Some borrowers may even qualify for loan forgiveness under Public Service Loan Forgiveness, income-driven repayment plans or the Teacher Loan Forgiveness program.
Though federal student loans have benefits compared to private loans, consider any borrowing carefully before committing to a debt.
If you don't have cash on hand to completely cover the cost of attendance for college — around $38,000 per year on average, according to the Education Data Initiative — you're not alone. More than 42 million borrowers have federal student loan debt.

The top-ranked Ohio State football team started the year with a 56-3 win over Ball State, but the degree of difficulty cranks up significantly with a Week 2 matchup against Texas.
OSU's game against the No. 3 Longhorns is part of what experts rank as one of the hardest 2026 schedules in the country. In fact, the Buckeyes entered this week as the underdog, ending a streak of 32 straight games in which Ohio State was favored.

With 2.5 weeks remaining in the regular season, those in the fantasy baseball playoffs should be focused on adding players with favorable schedules in the coming days. The list this week includes hitters to stream this weekend (Henry Bolte, Jeff McNeil, Colt Keith) as well as those who should be added by Monday (Ty France, Mickey Moniak, Cole Carrigg).
The same can be said on the pitching side, as those who need a weekend streamer can skip to the bottom of this article.
Ty France, 1B, Padres, 31%: France has been one of baseball's best hitters in the second half, batting .324 with a .937 OPS. Unfortunately, he remains on waivers in many leagues, as managers opt to chase an influx of exciting rookies rather than adding a boring veteran. But that should change over the weekend, as France and his teammates will open next week with four games at Coors Field against a Rockies pitching staff that ranks last in baseball with a 5.50 ERA. Managers in deeper formats could also consider Jake Cronenworth (6%), who has hit second in the lineup of late, or catcher Luis Campusano (1%), who is working as a DH often enough to keep him in the regular lineup.
Mickey Moniak, OF, Rockies, 26%: Moniak has some similarities to France, as a boring veteran who is having his productive season overshadowed by a constant stream of youngsters on the waiver wire. The 28-year-old has been terrific at home (.957 OPS) and against right-handers (.835 OPS) this season, which makes him a potential league-winner next week when the Rockies play seven games at their hitter-friendly home park, including five versus right-handed starters. Those who cannot add Moniak can consider his teammate, Cole Carrigg (15%).
Henry Bolte, OF, Athletics, 30%: Bolte is the fastest runner in baseball and has a bit of pop, which has made him the Athletics regular leadoff hitter and one of baseball's most explosive players. He is batting .320 since the beginning of August, and during September he has already accumulated four homers and five steals. Like many Athletics hitters, Bolte has fared best at his offense-inducing home park, which is where he will play this weekend. It helps that the series will come against the Mariners, who surprising rank 28th in baseball with a 5.39 ERA since the All-Star break.

WILTON - The Wilton football team knew this season would require a fast start with one of the more daunting schedules in the state, especially late in the year. The team felt it needed a victory on opening night against Norwalk, another FCIAC team with CIAC playoff hopes, and that is just what the Warriors got.
Wilton had to hold on down the stretch but ultimately took care of business, beating Norwalk 35-21 at Fujitani Field behind three touchdown passes from Colton Smith and three touchdowns from senior running back Dennis Dustin.
"If I was ever to say the first game of the year is a must-win, this was one," Wilton coach EJ DiNunzio said. "The schedule is a beast with Southington and all the other ones. We needed this win and we knew we needed it."
DiNunzio feels this is the toughest schedule he has seen in his time at Wilton, which was 10-2 and reached the Class MM semifinals last season, losing 21-20 to Bunnell. There are seven playoff teams from last season on the slate, including 2025 state champions Berlin (Class M), Greenwich (Class LL) and New Canaan (Class L), and Class LL runner-up Southington.
Wilton's final five games are all against playoff teams.

Sep. 10—The opening week of the season was rough for the upper divisions of the Greater Spokane League as the 4A and 3A teams went a combined 3-7 in Week 1. Both No. 1 seeds to the postseason in 2025 — Gonzaga Prep and Cheney — suffered multiple-touchdown losses, and Week 2 won't get any easier for them.
But that's the beauty/danger of the league opening up its schedule to nonleague games early in the season. It allows teams with postseason aspirations to play tougher opponents to bulk up their schedules — but it also means the risk of psyche-busting early-season losses.
In the grand scheme of things, nothing that happened last Friday has any impact on which teams might reach the postseason. But no one wants to start the season 0-2, either.
Let's go around the league and take a closer look at the matchups for Week 2.
All games nonleague and Friday at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh has never viewed leadership as something that should belong exclusively to the players wearing a captain's patch.
That philosophy dates back to his time with the Baltimore Ravens, where Harbaugh routinely used a player leadership council while also rotating game-day captains throughout the season.
The leadership council gave veteran players a direct voice in the operation of the team. Members were voted on by their teammates and met with Harbaugh to discuss everything from team issues to practice schedules. Harbaugh made it clear, however, that the council was not the only source of leadership inside the locker room.
"We feel like we've got leadership throughout the roster," Harbaugh said in 2022. "We want to honor that and recognize that -- that we're a team and that we have a team of leaders."
Game-day captains were handled differently. Rather than naming a permanent group for the season, Harbaugh selected captains on a week-to-week basis. The choices could change depending on circumstances, the opponent, or simply an opportunity to recognize a particular player's leadership.

Sandra Bullock is opening up about one of her biggest roles yet: parenting teenagers. As she promotes Practical Magic 2, the actress has offered a refreshingly honest look at protecting family time, ignoring one-size-fits-all parenting advice and even finding a way to include her children in her latest movie.
Bullock, 62, is mom to teenagers Louis, 16, and Laila, 13, and says their schedules now play a major role in the projects she accepts. Rather than expecting her children to fit around Hollywood, she chooses work that allows her to be available when they need her.
The actress has previously been clear about where her priorities lie. "I'm not going to sacrifice my time with my kids," Bullock said while discussing why Practical Magic 2 was able to happen. That approach can become increasingly important as children get older. Teenagers may want more independence, but they still need parents who are present and available when life gets complicated.
Bullock also isn't pretending she has all the answers when it comes to raising teenagers. In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she joked about how difficult it is to offer universal parenting advice when every child is different.
When asked what advice she would give other parents, Bullock's response was simply, "I'm sorry," before explaining that her children are both completely unique.

Tom Holland and Zendaya had a luxury getaway to ***** an planned, but their hectic promotional schedule left them too exhausted to enjoy it. Instead, they handed the luxury trip to Tom's parents, Dominic and Nicola Holland.
The couple has dated since 2021 and quietly tied the knot. They spent months promoting the latest superhero movie and Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. Their packed schedules left them too exhausted to make the ***** an trip themselves. Comedian and writer Dominic Holland has now revealed how the couple turned their canceled getaway into a vacation for him and his wife.
His father narrated, as per Daily Mail, "So, you know that Tom had a few films out recently, he had The Odyssey out, then he had Spider-Man. And he's been tired; he's been working unbelievably hard. He and Zendaya have probably done twice around the globe to promote these films.
He continued, "They were tired. They'd probably done maybe 20, 10-hour flights." About three days after the London premiere, Tom told him they had a holiday planned in ***** an. Dominic said he told Tom, "That'll be nice, Tom. You'll enjoy it." But Tom admitted he was too tired to go. He told his father, "Dad, it's too far, and I'm too tired." Tom then came up with another plan and told Dominic he would send him and his mum, Nicola, instead.
Dominic joked that being Tom's father came with plenty of perks, including first-class travel and luxury hotels. However, he said the hotel and restaurant staff expected to see the Hollywood star, only to find Dominic instead. He said that even the famously polite ***** anese staff seemed disappointed when he arrived. Dominic added, 'The ***** anese are very polite and servile people, but even they went, "Hmm."' He then poked fun at his own career, saying, 'Typical of me — here's the thing… I've written 10 books and got exactly zero with me tonight, which sums up my career.'"

Kate Middleton and Prince William spent a low-key summer, which reportedly sparked a "lazy" debate among royal watchers. The Prince and Princess of Wales typically use the children's school holidays as an opportunity to step away from their busy royal schedules and spend quality time with them. However, their relatively quiet summer reportedly drew criticism, with some people labeling William and Middleton "lazy" for keeping a low public profile. However, a royal author defended the Waleses, saying that they need a break because their duties can be "relentless."
Robert Jobson, a renowned royal author, reportedly defended Kate Middleton and Prince William over their low-key summer. Now that the summer holidays in the UK are coming to an end, the royals are getting back to their official duties. However, the Prince and Princess of Wales have a tradition of spending their children's school holidays away from the spotlight. This allows them to focus on their family and spend quality time with their kids.
The last time William and Kate were seen at a public engagement was when they attended the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. After that, they were photographed only once, when they were spotted driving around Balmoral to stay with King Charles and Queen Camilla. Some royal watchers labeled them "lazy" for spending so much time away from the public eye.
However, Jobson hit back at the critics. He argued that the Waleses need time to recharge because their jobs are "relentless." He told ******* o! Magazine, "A lot of people might think that it's lazy or whatever [taking the school holidays off], but I don't think it is." Jobson added, "They've got a long time in the top job, and after this it becomes even more relentless so I think they're trying to manage their time as best they can whilst they've got an element of freedom."
According to the royal author, William and Kate manage to balance their professional responsibilities with their personal lives very well. They continue to carry out their royal duties while making sure they spend enough time with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. This has helped them remain a strong family unit, according to the author.

Seagate gained 6.3% and Western Digital rose 5.9% on September 4 even as the S&P 500 fell 0.4%. The pairing was consistent with investors rotating toward profitable storage infrastructure rather than making a random defensive trade. Generative AI creates enormous data sets, checkpoints, logs, and retrieval stores, so the storage layer can benefit even when investors are less willing to pay for distant software profits. Seagate Technology Holdings plc (NASDAQ:STX) and Western Digital Corporation (NASDAQ:WDC) represent different ways to express that demand.
Source: Seagate
Seagate is the mass-capacity hard-drive specialist. In its latest fiscal-year release, management attributed performance to robust cloud data-center demand and argued that AI-driven data creation should support durable demand for high-capacity storage. The bull case is economic density: hyperscalers still need low-cost capacity behind expensive compute. The bear case is concentration and cyclicality. A few cloud buyers can change purchasing schedules quickly, and areal-density transitions can disrupt yields or costs.
Insider Monkey's filings database counted 131 hedge funds holding Seagate Technology Holdings plc (NASDAQ:STX) at June 30, up from 93 at March 31. Palestra Capital Management, managed by Andrew Immerman and Jeremy Schiffman, reported 386,123 shares, about 31% more than the 294,000 shares disclosed in Q1. That growing cohort indicates wider professional participation, not a guarantee that managers still held the shares when they rallied.
Western Digital offers exposure to hard drives after the Sandisk separation simplified its public-company story. Its appeal is similar: higher-capacity drives can monetize the expanding archive behind AI training and inference. The bear case is that cloud customers have purchasing leverage, while rapid shifts between flash, disk, and emerging architectures can change the mix more quickly than depreciation schedules do.

Soluna Holdings reported second-quarter revenue of $15.1 million, up 145% year over year. That headline needs an important qualification. A change in accounting presentation moved roughly $4.4 million of pass-through electricity costs from a net presentation to both revenue and cost of revenue, without changing profit or loss. Excluding that change, revenue grew 73% year over year and 13% sequentially. Soluna Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:SLNH) therefore delivered substantial growth, but not all of the reported increase reflected new economic activity.
The quarter also should not be treated as proof that the AI pivot is already producing revenue. Project Dorothy 1A generated $2.9 million of revenue, up 31% sequentially, and $795,000 of gross profit at a 28% margin, but that improvement came from Bitcoin-mining customers, including Blockware and Canaan. Management said Bitcoin-miner hosting remains its largest business today. The AI and high-performance-computing opportunity is prospective. That distinction matters because AI leases can carry different capital needs, construction schedules, and customer requirements from cryptocurrency hosting.
That opportunity is nevertheless large. As of August 1, Soluna reported a roughly 6.3-gigawatt overall pipeline, including more than 1.6 gigawatts of AI data-center capacity in development. It said Hedy, Ellen, and Fei were advancing under term sheets toward a combined 583 megawatts designated for AI and HPC. The 583-megawatt figure describes their combined planned capacity, not entirely new capacity. Based on the project updates, their capacities rose by 243 megawatts in aggregate, from 340 to 583 megawatts.
A pipeline is not contracted revenue. Projects still require land, permits, interconnection, financing, equipment, and tenants before generating cash. Soluna Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:SLNH) remains a small company pursuing capital-intensive facilities, so delays or unfavorable funding could overwhelm operating progress. AI customers may also demand stronger balance sheets and long construction guarantees, while rapid share issuance could dilute per-share gains.
Hedge-fund interest increased but remained limited. Insider Monkey counted nine hedge funds holding the shares in Q2, up from six in Q1. Separately, Vident Advisory, an institutional investment adviser rather than a hedge fund, expanded its reported position by 7,772% to 5,227,200 shares. The percentage is dramatic because its prior position was small and should not be mistaken for broad sponsorship.

It's important to remember that the strength of non-conference schedules can differ wildly from team-to-team. However, don't be fooled by thinking that an SEC team playing a lowly FCS program translates to piles of fantasy points for your respective players. Oftentimes the marquee players are on ice by the time the second half rolls around in these lopsided matchups.
Play Yahoo's new College Fantasy Football game: Create or join a league now!
Accordingly, I prefer to target players on respectable P4 offenses that have something to prove and are facing reasonably competent G6 opponents who can hang around long enough for the starters to stay in the game for three quarters. With that in mind, here are my starts and sits for college fantasy football Week 1.
In last year's Apple Cup, Williams eviscerated the Cougs, completing 16-of-19 passes for 298 yards with four passing touchdowns, while rushing for 88 yards and another rushing score. This prodigious production came against a credible Wazzu defense that allowed 20 PPG and 174 passing yards per game with 31 sacks. This year, Wazzu loses all 11 starters and bring in from Missouri new HC Kirby Moore, who is an offensive-minded coach. I expect the Huskies to do anything they want and give Wazzu a little extra since they're rivals and they want to score some style points in Game 1, meaning Williams should have another huge fantasy game in this year's Apple Cup.
West Virginia is going to run the ball with aplomb in Year 2 of the Rich Rodriguez resurgence in Morgantown. WVU went 4-8 last year as Rich Rod reorganized the roster in his visage, but this year the Mountaineers boast 120 line starts after portaling in four FBS starting offensive linemen and hiring OL guru Rick Trickett, which should greatly increase their middling 161 rushing yards per game average last year. For their part, CCU and new HC Ryan Beard are just serviceable enough to keep WVU's starters in the game until Q4. That is important since CCU was gorged for 5.1 YPC and 208 rushing yards per game in 2025. Cook should clear 100-yards and punch in at least one TD against the soft underbelly of the Chanticleers defensive front.

It's never too early to look ahead at uniform schedules, right?
Last month, the Denver Broncos announced they will wear their alternate navy jerseys when they host the Buffalo Bills at Empower Field at Mile High on Christmas Day in Week 16. That rematch of last season's AFC divisional round playoff game will begin at 2:30 p.m. MT on Netflix.
A few weeks after the Broncos announced their uniform for the Dec. 25 showdown with Buffalo, the Bills announced they will wear their beloved alternate red helmet with white jerseys, light pants and red socks. A fitting look for Christmas Day:
Red Helmets. Christmas Day. Netflix.netflix | #BillsMafia pic.twitter.com/JrqJOvUobX
So, we now know it will be a blue vs. white uniform matchup. However, Denver has not yet announced its helmet, pants and sock colors for that game. The Broncos could use their alternate white helmet, which would be a sharp contrast to the Bills' red lid.

At three in the morning, an AI system can evaluate a trade flow, verify a contract and trigger a cross-border payout in seconds. The payment may still sit in a correspondent bank queue for days. Corporate software now operates at machine speed, while the financial infrastructure beneath it still keeps banking hours.
That timing gap is the structural challenge. The financial architecture underneath these autonomous workflows has failed to experience a corresponding modernization.
Sophisticated, automated software layers now sit on top of traditional banking rails that remain bound by manual processes, legacy clearing schedules, regional banking hours and standard multi-day settlement timelines. This systemic divergence creates an immediate operational mismatch.
An enterprise cannot maximize continuous, automated commerce when its settlement infrastructure relies on decades-old technology designs.

Pop star Taylor Swift is reportedly "frustrated" with her husband, Travis Kelce, after their short honeymoon. The couple tied the knot on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Although they both have busy work schedules, it seems that the "Delicate" singer is frustrated that Kelce has already returned to the Kansas City Chiefs as they begin training for another NFL season.

Swift and Kelce spent time together in Laguna, California, among other places, following their Madison Square Garden wedding ceremony. Unfortunately, in late July, just a few weeks after they tied the knot, Kelce had to head back to Missouri in order to train with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.
"She is frustrated because football is taking up so much of his time – he works overtime – causing them to not see each other a ton, and she would like more," an insider told the Daily Mail in a new report published on Sunday, August 30.
"Travis being in training camp has meant she has had to go out alone," the source continued. "They do not see each other every single day, but they see each other every single week – they are very dedicated to that."

Bill Belichick needed this one.
That the 74-year-old Belichick came into his second year at North Carolina on one of the hottest seats in college football was a signal that the six-time Super Bowl winner had officially lost his fastball after a dismal end to his run with the New England Patriots.
A full accounting of how far Belichick and UNC have come since last season won't be complete until deeper into one of the toughest schedules in the Bowl Subdivision. But the Tar Heels' often ugly 15-10 win against TCU in Ireland rights the ship for Belichick and gives his tenure a must-have boost after another drama-filled offseason.
The Tar Heels were swamped at home by TCU in last year's opener, scoring the game's first points before giving up 41 in a row and losing 48-14.
This TCU team has clear quarterback issues after losing multiple-year starter Josh Hoover to Indiana. Combined with a lack of elite skill talent, the Horned Frogs might struggle to reach bowl eligibility.
