Vinted, one of Europe's largest marketplaces for buying and selling pre-owned items between private individuals, will direct customers in Germany to ship or exchange goods through DHL Group's (XETRA: DHL) network of parcel lockers and digital kiosks, under a new strategic partnership aimed at making peer-to-peer purchases as convenient as ones through online retailers.
Private-party sales of used items through online marketplaces have become very popular in Germany. According to the latest DHL E-Commerce Trends Report, 67% of online shoppers in the country have already sold items via a digital platform.
Vinted and DHL announced Wednesday they are working together to expand and simplify the shipping and collection of Vinted parcels through DHL's network of Packstations (automated, self-service locker systems that allows users to send, receive and drop-off parcels around the clock), Poststations (digital Deutsche Post retail outlets where users can take care of postal business) and DeinFach lockers (a carrier neutral parcel locker network).
DHL operates the most extensive parcel shipping network in Germany, including 41,000 parcel drop-off and collection points at post offices, parcel shops and automated facilities.
The Vinted collaboration builds on a multi-month pilot program that both companies recently completed, DHL spokeswoman Sarah Preuss explained in an email message.

Burma's government approved the death penalty as punishment for internet scammers just months after the Fbi announced a sweeping $8 billion crackdown on scam networks coming from the country, according to the country's state-backed media.
The Anti-Online Scam Law passed the country's parliament on Tuesday, green lighting the death penalty for anyone who participates in a scam in which they "commit violence, torture, unlawfully arrest or detain, or treat any person in a cruel manner," according to The Global New Light of Myanmar, a media outlet jointly operated by a private company and the country's Ministry of the Interior.
Burma, also known as Myanmar, has become ground zero for digital scams, with criminals often recruiting migrants from other Asian countries with promises of legitimate work only to imprison them and force them to conduct the scams.
In May, the FBI announced a massive crackdown on a criminal network in Burma known as the "Democratic Karen Benevolent Army." The operation resulted in the seizure of 127,000 Bitcoin, worth over $8 billion as of July.

Circle—the company behind USDC (the digital dollar used by millions worldwide for payments, savings, and international transfers)—just bought the blockchain patent library IBM spent more than a decade building. The deal, announced July 27, hands Circle over 1,000 blockchain patents issued by IBM worldwide.
Patents are legal rights that give the holder exclusive control over a specific invention. If you hold a patent on a method for processing transactions on a blockchain—the shared digital ledger where crypto activity is permanently recorded and can't be altered—you get to decide who else uses it and on what terms. IBM had been building that kind of leverage since its mid-2010s enterprise blockchain push.
By December 2025, patent ******* ytics firm PatSnap credited IBM with 790 U.S. blockchain patents—more than any other American company, with Bank of America a distant second at roughly 200. Circle, which received its first-ever patent in December 2023 (covering parallel blockchain data processing—a technique for verifying multiple groups of transactions simultaneously), went from essentially zero to the top of the U.S. rankings overnight.
"The portfolio comprises over 680 patent families and nearly 1,000 issued patents worldwide, spanning foundational blockchain technology, banking, financial services, insurance, enterprise infrastructure, supply chain verification, and secure cloud operations," Circle said in its official announcement.
Circle plans to put them to work across its entire stack. "The expanded IP position directly supports Circle's foundation for building the internet financial system, including USDC, Circle Payments Network, Arc, and a growing suite of onchain products and agentic financial tools," the company added. Arc is Circle's own payment-focused blockchain built for institutional finance. The agentic tools are AI-powered software programs that can execute financial transactions autonomously—no human required for each step.

The AI memory supercycle has emerged as one of 2026's most defining stories, and also one of its most contested. Hyperscaler capital expenditure is expected to reach $750 billion this year, with Goldman Sachs forecasting $7.6 trillion in total AI infrastructure spending through 2031, resulting in a supply shortage of NAND and DRAM memory as data center demand for high-performance storage clashes against the chipmakers' capacity limitations.
That scarcity has been aggravated by reports that TSMC may boost contract chip manufacturing prices by up to 10% in 2027, with some products facing increases of up to 20%, owing to increased materials, equipment, and overseas facility development expenses.
Sandisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) is one of the names that have benefited the most from the supercycle. Since its February 2025 spinoff from Western Digital at $35.06 per share, Sandisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) has become the single best-performing stock in the S&P 500, climbing up to 858% at its late-June peak on the back of explosive fundamentals: fiscal Q3 2026 revenue reached $5.95 billion, up 97% sequentially and 251% year-over-year, with datacenter revenue specifically up 645% year-over-year.
Management anticipates continued sequential acceleration in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, with total revenue expected to range between $7.75 billion and $8.25 billion and non-GAAP earnings per share between $30 and $33, as gross margins increase to near 80%. More crucially, Sandisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) reported that its remaining performance obligations and contracted backlog came in between $41.6 billion and $42 billion. Sandisk's entire 2026 enterprise AI storage capacity is sold out under long-term agreements, thus locking in multibillion-dollar cash flows for the rest of the calendar year.
Despite its strong operational reports, Sandisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) has not been immune to macroeconomic turbulence. In mid-July, shares fell 8% to 15% across a number of sessions, contributing to a 39% slide from late-June record highs, as the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell more than 20%. According to market ****** ysts, this pullback is the result of an industry-wide valuation adjustment rather than a structural decline in memory demand or corporate earnings power.

Republican candidate for Wisconsin governor Tom Tiffany said in a post to X that Hong believed in all the ideas mentioned in the viral video.
"This sounds a lot like DSA-backed FrancescaHongWI. Does she want to abolish the police? Yep. Does she want to abolish prisons? Absolutely. Did she call for abolishing the U.S. Senate? Yes. Socialism is knocking on Wisconsin's door. This November, we slam it shut," Tiffany wrote.

WS Amati Global Innovation Fund, managed by a UK-based equity management firm from AMAti Global Investors, released its second quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy of the letter is available to download here. Financial market performance in the second quarter was dominated by geopolitical conflict and enthusiasm for AI. Significant investments across all elements of AI resulted in exceptional growth for related companies, ranging from chip producers to companies constructing data centres. The fund outperformed the MSCI ACWI benchmark due to its diversified exposure beyond headline AI firms, with semiconductor and equipment suppliers being major contributors. At the same time, software and IT services faced investor skepticism due to fears of automation despite long-term potential. The firm is confident in the innovation frontiers to capture long-term growth opportunities in automation, semiconductors, and advanced technologies. In addition, please check the Strategy's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, WS Amati Global Innovation Fund highlighted Globant S.A. (NYSE:GLOB). Globant S.A. (NYSE:GLOB), a technology services company that provides digital transformation, AI, and software development solutions, detracted from the Fund's performance during the quarter. On July 24, 2026, Globant S.A. (NYSE:GLOB) closed at $31.30 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $1.35 billion. Globant S.A. (NYSE:GLOB) posted a one-month return of 9.72%, while its shares lost 64.62% over the past 52 weeks.
WS Amati Global Innovation Fund stated the following regarding Globant S.A. (NYSE:GLOB) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"Although both companies weighed on performance, the largest single detractor was Globant S.A. (NYSE:GLOB), the US listed IT services and digital engineering business. It too was a casualty of the excessive extrapolation we believe investors are currently making and we have been gently adding on weakness to all three names."
Globant S.A. (NYSE:GLOB) is not on our list of 40 Most Popular Stocks Among Hedge Funds Heading Into 2026. According to our database, 25 hedge fund portfolios held Globant S.A. (NYSE:GLOB) at the end of the first quarter, compared to 33 in the previous quarter. While we acknowledge the potential of Globant S.A. (NYSE:GLOB) as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. If you're looking for an extremely undervalued AI stock that also stands to benefit significantly from Trump-era tariffs and the onshoring trend, see our free report on the best short-term AI stock.

Varun Sharma, founder and CEO of NEUVIOR, reflects on the necessitates of the recently forged India-UK pharma trade deal.
The India UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement became operational on 15 July. That is good news for businesses in both countries. It is also the moment to stop treating tariff reduction as a synonym for market access, especially in pharmaceuticals, medical technology and digital health.
Medicines and devices do not move from factory to patient through one gate. They move through at least five. A product must qualify for the tariff preference under the rules of origin. It must have the right approval in the destination market. Its manufacturing and quality evidence must withstand inspection. It must meet the terms of any public procurement. Its people, systems and data must be able to operate lawfully across borders.
The agreement changes some of these gates. It does not collapse them.
The Indian schedule places 198 of 226 pharmaceutical tariff lines in immediate staging, four already at zero, with the rest phased over five or ten years. Medical technology receives a more mixed pattern of phased elimination and partial reduction. These preferences matter, but only for products that satisfy the product specific origin rule.

Saudi Arabia's AI champion HUMAIN has signed its first sports sponsorship, partnering with Al Nassr, the Riyadh soccer club where superstar Cristiano Ronaldo plays, as it looks to integrate its AI offerings into the team.
The agreement will see HUMAIN's logo on Al Nassr's jerseys and new training center. HUMAIN also plans to deploy its sports technology unit and its interactive entertainment platform at the club.
HUMAIN aims to use the sponsorship deal to "go beyond the traditional sponsorship model," chief executive Tariq Amin said. "Together, we'll look at how solutions such as HUMAIN Sport and HUMAIN Create can help shape the next generation of fan engagement, from more personalized digital experiences to new forms of AI-powered content.
HUMAIN declined to comment on the financial details of the deal.
The sponsorship is also expected to provide a financial boost for Al Nassr. The club — which, like HUMAIN, is owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund — is reported to have more than $200 million in debt, complicating efforts to sign new players this summer.

Circle (NYSE: CRCL) issues USD Coin (CRYPTO: USDC), the world's second-largest stablecoin and the most widely used stablecoin in the United States. USD Coin is backed by Circle's own U.S. dollars and Treasuries, and the company generates most of its revenue from the interest earned on those deposits (known as its reserve income). Circle recently won a U.S. bank charter, and its firm compliance with U.S. regulations makes it an appealing choice for institutional investors.
Circle's revenue will keep rising as long as it continues to mint more USDC tokens for investors who want a faster, more digitally flexible alternative to real U.S. dollars. In a recent CNBC interview, Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire claimed the entire stablecoin market could grow from about $1 trillion today to tens of trillions of dollars over the coming years. But does that mean Circle's stock will grow at the same rate as the broader stablecoin market?

Circle's U.S. bank charter and its tight compliance with U.S. regulators might make it seem like an obvious way to profit from the stablecoin market's growth. However, Circle's entire future is pegged to USDC -- and that leading token will face a major new competitor later this year.
That challenger is Open USD (OUSD), a new stablecoin backed by a coalition of over 140 financial, tech, and retail giants. One of OUSD's most prominent backers is Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN), a founding partner of USDC. Coinbase retains USDC's reserve income on its own exchange, and that crucial partnership will automatically renew on Aug. 18.

July 24 (Reuters) - London-listed shares of Wise fell 10% on Friday after the money transfer group said its application to create a national trust bank in the United States was denied by regulators, amid major changes in financial policy.
The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency denied Wise's application as it was incompatible with the Federal Reserve's new policies for payment system access, the dual-listed company said. As a national trust bank, Wise sought to settle U.S. dollar payments directly with the Fed.
U.S. regulations for payments have changed significantly since the firm submitted its application in June of last year, it said.

The fintech firm plans to submit a new application for a national trust bank charter under the GENIUS Act framework, which pertains to digital ****** ets like stablecoins.

MUMBAI, July 24 (Reuters) - Indian banks and insurers will launch a common customer identification system in August, with **** et managers joining later, two regulatory sources and industry executives said, allowing customers to access financial products without separately submitting identification documents.
The new system, known as Central Know-Your-Customer 2.0 (CKYC), will only require the customer's consent for these institutions to fetch data stored at a central registry when opening an account or updating their details.
India has spent more than a decade trying to create a system similar to those in countries such as Singapore and several European nations, where digital identity frameworks allow customers to access multiple financial products through a common verification process.

It will also help combat fraud through easier monitoring, the regulatory sources said.

To say Thursday's friendly between Hoffenheim and SV Massenbachhausen was one-sided would almost be an understatement. Final score: 21-0.

And here are the images of the carnage...
Ruled out of the World Cup with Slovenia, Manchester United striker Benjamin Šeško appears to have used the break to bulk up. The image of his physical transformation quickly went viral on social media.

DGJL uses SPY options to deliver a fixed 9.37% digital return as long as SPY doesn't fall more than 10% over its one-year period.
The digital structure caps gains at 9.37% even if SPY surges 30%, making DGJL most advantageous in flat or mildly declining markets.
Losses beyond the 10% buffer fall entirely on shareholders, and defined outcomes only hold for investors who buy on day one and hold through July 2027.
Act now: the ***** yst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and DGJL didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.
First Trust has rolled out another entry in its lineup of defined-outcome funds, and this one carries an unusual twist. The FT Vest U.S. Equity Buffer & Digital Return ETF – July (NYSEARCA:DGJL) began its first outcome period on July 20, 2026 and lists on the Cboe BZX Exchange. It is an actively managed fund, meaning a team picks the holdings rather than tracking an index, and it is sub-advised by Vest Financial LLC, the firm behind most of First Trust's buffer product family.

The European Union and the United States took one ultra-laborious step forward in ratifying their bilateral trade deal in late June. Now, the trading partners may be taking several steps back from the hard-fought truce, which took nearly a year to complete.
That's due to an European Commission announcement on Thursday that American tech juggernaut Google will be fined 890 million euros (close to $1 billion) for allegedly violating the trade bloc's Digital Markets Act.

"Panini's activation will offer fans custom Panini WNBA digital trading cards, exclusive trading card packs, and surprise player meet-and-greets. Autographed memorabilia from Panini's collection will also be on display for fans to see," a Panini representative told The Blast.
Smith took some time out of her day during All-Star Weekend on Friday to sign Panini cards for fans. She said the best part is getting to meet everyone.
"I think it's been [partnering with Panini] huge," she told The Blast exclusively. "I love always getting to interact with fans, so having an opportunity to spread that joy and just have people come out and get their cards signed, I think it's been huge."

In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Ironvine Capital Partners highlighted Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META). Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META), the parent company of dominant social media platforms, is a multinational technology company that develops products to connect people. On July 22, 2026, Meta Platforms, Inc. "Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META) has uniquely powerful data and distribution advantages and the company is investing aggressively in its own artificial intelligence models and compute to make its advertising platform more effective. Meta's core business has among the most straight forward and compelling commercial use cases for AI that we are aware of. More engaging, relevant, and frequently refreshed creative content makes digital ads useful versus simply clutter. One unnamed Ironviner visits Instagram specifically for curated clothing, gear, and gift ideas—he checks in for the ads, not in spite of them, because he is often introduced to new brands and items he hadn't thought of or didn't know existed. For advertisers, the ease and precision of targeting and measuring return on ad spend is powerful. They can refine and improve their approach leveraging Meta's tools to increase efficiency. The company's ability to leverage and improve its own models within this robust and proprietary feedback loop should draw additional advertising dollars and further the company's lead in time. We initiated a position in Meta in our Concentrated strategy and added to our existing position in Core during the second quarter."
