Jennifer Lopez is reportedly drawing concern from people close to her. According to a new report, some insiders believe her recent public image is tied to her split from Ben Affleck. They think many of her latest moves are aimed at getting his attention. Although Lopez has spoken about finding happiness after the divorce, sources claim those around her are not convinced she has completely moved on.
According to RadarOnline, Jennifer Lopez has become the focus of fresh concern for people in her inner circle. Unnamed sources cited by the outlet claim her recent public appearances and social media activity reflect a growing desire for attention. The report also alleges Ben Affleck has noticed the change and is said to be worried by what he has seen since their divorce.
One source claimed Lopez has become increasingly preoccupied with her image. They alleged she frequently follows stories about herself and often turns conversations back to her own life. "J.Lo's always been incredibly self-absorbed but things have gotten way out of hand lately," the insider claimed.
The same source also suggested Lopez's recent public image may have another purpose. They claimed she wants to remind Affleck "what he's missing." According to the insider, that desire has allegedly influenced some of her recent appearances and social media posts.
At the same time, Lopez has continued to speak openly about her divorce. In previous interviews, the "Office Romance" actor admitted the breakup felt like her "life blew up in my own face." She also described the last few years as "a tumult." Even so, Lopez has insisted she is now happy and has spent time focusing on herself.

Prince William has reportedly refused to give Meghan Markle "ammunition" as he is still said to have reservations about Harry and Meghan Markle's upcoming trip to the UK. Harry is reportedly all set to visit Britain soon with Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Meanwhile, King Charles has reportedly made various arrangements for the Sussexes to make their trip as comfortable as possible. This is something William is said to view differently. Reports suggest that he remains cautious about the Sussexes' visit to the UK. He is reportedly unwilling to share any information that could potentially be used against the royal family.
Prince William reportedly believes that Meghan Markle could use the UK trip as material for a future tell-all memoir. As the Sussexes' trip to the UK draws closer, William's reported concerns about the purpose of their visit are said to be growing.
While King Charles is reportedly looking forward to seeing his son and his family, William is said to feel differently. Harry stepped down from his royal duties in 2020. The relationship between the once inseparable brothers has reportedly become increasingly strained since then.
Charles reportedly hopes for a reconciliation between the brothers. However, that appears difficult given William's reported concerns about the Sussexes' upcoming visit. A report by Heat World suggests that the Prince of Wales is worried about the implications of bringing the Sussexes back into the royal fold.

In her book, Nom de Plume, Carmela Ciuraru writes: "To a certain extent, all writing involves impersonation—the act of summoning an authorial 'I' to create the speaker of a poem or the characters in a novel." And she's right, especially for those in the fiction **** e; creating a world, characters, understanding and illustrating their interior lives, all evidences a knack for occupying a **** e other than their own. Some writers take that bifurcation a step further, choosing a pen name to write some or all of their work under; George Orwell, Mark Twain, and Lewis Carroll are all pen names–it's a tool commonly deployed by a marginalized class to gain credibility among readers who would otherwise look past their name. The Bronte sisters famously wrote under male pseudonyms; before Little Women, Louisa May Alcott wrote under the name A. M. Barnard.
Next month, Minotaur Books will publish the private detective mystery Killer Vibes by Jack Friday–or as readers will recognize him, John Fram. Fram burst onto the literary scene in 2020 with his acclaimed novel, The Bright Lands, followed by No Road Home, and most recently The Midnight Knock; he's made a name for himself crafting queer horror novels that deliver mind bending thrills and nuanced character studies. Fram's newest endeavor is in the crime fiction **** e and that shift, in part, inspired the author to write under a nom de plume: Jack Friday. Killer Vibes is the first in what will be a series that centers on Peter Key, a bisexual stoner who inherits a home from an uncle he barely knew, only to find out that his death was probably not an accident. "He starts to poke into the case and attracts some very dangerous people, but he also makes a lot of really cool new friends, including a private investigator," Fram tells me. "By the end of the novel, Peter has gone through a lot of scrapes but he has come out a detective. He's realized that he finally has something that he's really good at and loves to do."
Ahead of Killer Vibes' release, I caught up with Fram to talk about his decision to write under a pen name, telling queer, Southern stories, and what fans of Fram–and Friday–can look forward to in this book and beyond.
Caroline Reilly: What made you decide to write your next book under a pen name?
John Fram: I think that for me it was a matter of making sure people had the right expectations going into the book. I didn't want to alienate my horror readers with something that's not a horror novel. There's nothing supernatural in Killer Vibes. So on the one hand, it was making sure people who have read my previous work knew what they were getting into. Secondly–I remember once reading a review of my book and there was a comment on it where this lady said, "I've always been interested in this author, but I'm too scared to read horror." And that was always in my head, I thought, the fact that one person has said this means there's other people who maybe feel this way. Let me give them something wh

The entertainment industry has long been at the forefront of LGBTQ+ storytelling, shaping culture through film, music and television. But what does allyship look like inside entertainment companies, among the professionals doing the work? If the people creating these stories don't feel safe to be themselves, what does that mean for the stories they tell?
Eight years ago, I was a first-year ******* ociate secretly in a relationship with a woman. I was terrified for anyone to find out. One day, my girlfriend sent me flowers to the office and I panicked. What if someone asked who they were from? A senior ******* ociate noticed them and simply said, "Those are beautiful." No questions. Just warmth. That small, human moment changed everything for me. It told me I was safe. I practice entertainment law, and I think about that moment every time I meet with a creative team.
For Pride Month, as an entertainment litigator, former outside pro bono counsel to GLAAD, and member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I wanted to find out if others had similar experiences. So I asked LGBTQ+ women and non-binary professionals across the industry to share what allyship has meant to them in real, human moments like mine.
What they shared is a reminder that the most meaningful allyship happens behind the scenes in a writers' room, on a set or in a hallway conversation.
"In 2008, I was a lesbian singer-songwriter trying to find my place in the music scene. I had been booked to open for a gay male headliner whose career was much further along than mine. Before the show, he asked the organizers to switch the lineup so I would perform later in the evening. He explained that queer women deserved more visibility in music. For context, this was seven years before marriage equality became law across the United States, and seeing openly LGBTQ+ artists succeed still felt rare. That small act of allyship stayed with me. He didn't just make ******* e for me on a stage. He showed me that success didn't have to be a competition. It could be an opportunity to lift others up. I still think about that moment whenever I have the chance to open a door for another artist."

DJ Fat Tony is clearing the air on why he spoke about the ongoing feud between Victoria and David Beckham and their son, Brooklyn Beckham.
Tony previously shared his thoughts about the whole situation. He noted that Marc Anthony was largely to blame because he had initiated the dance between Victoria and Brooklyn, which the eldest Beckham son felt was "inappropriate."
This comes after Brooklyn published explosive claims about his parents, accusing his mother of attempting to steal the spotlight at his wedding and publicly distancing himself from them.
After Brooklyn denounced his family and accused his mother of hijacking his first dance during his wedding to Nicola Peltz, Tony spoke up about the situation. However, he recently revealed that he only said something at the time because he was asked to do so.
"Yeah, I was [asked to speak]… There's a WhatsApp group [with Brooklyn and Nicola]," he said, per Daily Mail. Tony further revealed that it was not his intention to throw anyone under the bus. Instead, he "just spoke from the heart."

Tessa Thompson dug into Prada's early-2000s archive on Saturday, arriving outside the James Earl Jones Theatre in mauve rose mules that brought a Y2K finish to a crisp white shirt and black pedal pushers. Tessa Thompson wearing a vintage pair of two-toned Prada mules in New York City on Saturday. GC Images The vintage slip-ons mixed two shades of purple leather. Dusty mauve framed the sides of the square-toed upper, while a richer plum section covered the front of the shoe. Thin leather strips formed a knotted, rose-like detail at the center, with small leaf-shaped accents on either side. Visible stitching traced the embellishment and continued across the darker toe panel. The open-backed style sat on a gently curved heel that widened slightly towards the base. Her oversized collared shirt fell past the hips, while fitted pedal pushers stopped at mid-calf and left the mules fully visible. In her new memoir published this week, former first lady Jill Biden detailed an awkward car ride on Inauguration Day 2025, claiming that incoming first lady Melania Trump ducked a range of questions asked in the vehicle and instead tried limiting conversation to small talk about the weather.
While first ladies and presidents have previously shared private moments with their successors and predecessors in spite of political animosity, Jill wrote in the second-to-last chapter of A View from the East Wing that Melania and her had spent very little time together over the years.

Rumer Willis's ex-boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas has accused her of exploiting their three-year-old daughter, Louetta, in the latest update to their bitter custody battle.
After Thomas and Willis, the daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, broke up following the birth of their only daughter in 2023, the custody battle over Louetta began in July 2025 when Thomas requested joint legal and physical custody of the girl along with visitation rights.
Willis, 37, and Moore filed legal documents in Los Angeles last month opposing Thomas' request for a child custody order, with Willis seeking full physical custody and accusing Thomas of "incessant domestic abuse."
Now, Thomas has denied all claims of his alleged abuse and instead pointed the finger back at Willis in a new court filing, saying: "Respondent's coordinated media strategy and its harm to Louetta are a serious concern."
Thomas went on to accuse Willis of using their daughter to make money with commercials and said that in February, he sent Willis "a written objection to Louetta's appearance in paid commercial advertising, noting a specific ad which contained adult **** ual humor that was not appropriate context for a two-year-old."
