Chase DeLauter has hit seven of his 11 home runs this year against righties on the road.
The MLB best home run bets are in a small funk. Since Bryce Harper and Ozzie Albies hit home runs on July 20, four straight MLB best home run bets have failed to deliver. So, the season's record for MLB best home run bets sits at 18-63, with three no-bets.
The record is rock-solid for a long-shot bet, like home run bets. As a result, anyone who has bet $100 on each of the touted home run props at the listed odds has profited $861. Again, home run bets are long-shot wagers, so losing streaks are part of the equation.
There are two appealing home run bets on today's MLB slate, though. A young left-handed-hitting outfielder in a plus matchup and homer-friendly ballpark and a young right-handed-hitting outfielder in a favorable matchup and homer-friendly ballpark have the most compelling home run bets on today's MLB slate.

MercadoLibre (NASDAQ: MELI) stock has fallen by 31% from its previous peak as Wall Street focuses on near-term margin pressure and intensifying competition. Yet the business continues to expand rapidly in Latin America's e-commerce market, potentially setting the stage for market-beating returns in the next five years.
Its lower margins are not a result of competition, but rather of its higher near-term spending on infrastructure to support growth. This makes the stock a compelling buy for patient investors.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
Similar to Amazon in the U.S., MercadoLibre has a structural advantage in Latin America's e-commerce market. It continues to invest in logistics infrastructure to build the most efficient delivery network in one of the world's fastest-growing e-commerce markets.
The growth it continues to report shows a huge opportunity ahead. The number of unique active buyers grew 26% year over year in the first quarter. Gross merchandise volume increased by 36%, with the number of items sold rising by 47%. It does face increasing competition from Asian e-commerce companies like Temu and Shopee, but these numbers show that MercadoLibre's investments to expand free shipping offers and other services are protecting its competitive position.

International stocks are performing admirably this year. As of July 22, the MSCI ACWI ex-US Investable Market Index, which combines developed and emerging market equities, is higher by 11.51%. Sounds good and it is, but investors should dig deeper.
Artificial intelligence (AI)-adjacent and technology stocks, many hailing from emerging markets, have been key contributors to international equity upside this year. As a result, markets such as South Korea and Taiwan loom large in some supposedly diverse international ETFs. Plus, some of those funds now devote significant percentages of their portfolios to growth stocks.
For investors looking to defray some of those risks while adding more value exposure to their portfolios, the ALPS O'Shares International Developed Quality Dividend ETF (OEFA) is an idea to consider. With its emphasis on quality traits and dividend growth, OEFA could be an ideal complement to growth-heavy portfolios and for investors looking for a more prudent way to gain international exposure.
With the S&P 500 heavily allocated to AI-related stocks and with the same becoming true of some developing markets, developed market exposure – attainable via OEFA – becomes all the more compelling because the sector-level profiles in many developed markets don't resemble those found here in the U.S.

Ironvine Capital Partners, an investment management company, released its Q2 2026 investor letter. A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. The letter emphasizes the vital role of AI adoption in capital markets, highlighting a projected $7 trillion in new debt issuance by 2029 due to increased AI computing investments by hyperscale companies. This trend presents both risks and opportunities. The firm has shifted away from semiconductors during the quarter, as they require 2027 or 2028 spending levels for sustainable returns. The Ironvine Concentrated fund reported a year-to-date return of 11.02% (net), outperforming the S&P 500 Index's 10.21% return. In addition, please check the Strategy's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Ironvine Capital Partners highlighted Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META). Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META), the parent company of dominant social media platforms, is a multinational technology company that develops products to connect people. On July 22, 2026, Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META) closed at $627.17 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $1.68 trillion. Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META) posted a one-month return of 15.53%, while its shares lost 12.26% over the past 52 weeks.
Ironvine Capital Partners stated the following regarding Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META) has uniquely powerful data and distribution advantages and the company is investing aggressively in its own artificial intelligence models and compute to make its advertising platform more effective. Meta's core business has among the most straight forward and compelling commercial use cases for AI that we are aware of. More engaging, relevant, and frequently refreshed creative content makes digital ads useful versus simply clutter. One unnamed Ironviner visits Instagram specifically for curated clothing, gear, and gift ideas—he checks in for the ads, not in spite of them, because he is often introduced to new brands and items he hadn't thought of or didn't know existed. For advertisers, the ease and precision of targeting and measuring return on ad spend is powerful. They can refine and improve their approach leveraging Meta's tools to increase efficiency. The company's ability to leverage and improve its own models within this robust and proprietary feedback loop should draw additional advertising dollars and further the company's lead in time. We initiated a position in Meta in our Concentrated strategy and added to our existing position in Core during the second quarter."

ONDS raised FY2026 guidance to $390M with a $457M backlog, making L3Harris (LHX) the cleanest strategic fit given its Trusted Disruptor acquisition playbook.

The company reported Q1 FY2026 revenue of $50.12 million (+1,079.8% year over year), lifted its FY2026 revenue target to at least $390 million, and disclosed a pro forma backlog of $457 million. With counter-UAS (Sentrycs, Iron Drone), loitering munitions (Mistral, Rotron), stratospheric ISR (World View), and a SkyWeaver agentic-AI platform co-developed with Palantir, the strategic logic for a takeout is compelling. Here are four likely acquirers, ranked from longest shot to cleanest fit.

The Seattle Seahawks shouldn't have to squeeze back into the spotlight.
That ****** e typically would be reserved for the defending Super Bowl champion throughout the offseason. In Seattle's case, however, gazes began to stray not long after Mike Macdonald and Co. got their hands on the Lombardi Trophy.
The Seahawks were, without question, compelling victors. Their systematic dismantling of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 60 was a fitting capstone to a campaign that eradicated all doubt as to who was the NFL's strongest outfit by season's end.
But it wasn't long before a group known for its lack of braggadocio – and perhaps star power – became somewhat of an afterthought.
As the organization's veterans report for training camp on Friday, July 24, the Seahawks begin preparation for their ****** le defense with a diminished level of buzz. Despite last season's accomplishments, Seattle doesn't stoke comparable offseason intrigue to the Los Angeles Rams, who might have secured their place as the focal point of the NFC West – and perhaps the league at large – with their acquisition of Myles Garrett. And as the Patriots also begin work the same day in preparation for the season-opening Super Bowl rematch, New England clearly is on track to command more attention after the addition of A.J. Brown.

The crowd that crows about college football chaos compelling Congressional intervention will love this one, even if it's not much of a surprise.
Earlier this week, former Texas offensive lineman Cole Hutson secured a temporary restraining order allowing him to return to college football despite entering the draft, not being picked, participating in the Browns' and Cowboys' rookie minicamps, and not being signed by either team.
Via Pete Nakos of On3.com, a Texas judge granted the request for extra-extraordinary relief — one that often is presented and decided without the defendant having a chance to be heard. The next step will be a hearing on a motion for a preliminary injunction, which would extend the TRO through the resolution of the case.
It's very hard to secure a TRO. Hutson's success suggests that he'll also get a preliminary injunction at the hearing set for August 3.
Hutson's case follows a recent ruling by an Ohio judge granting a preliminary injunction to 24 athletes based on an age-based eligibility model for a fifth year. Hutson has played four years of college football, appearing in 48 games and making 23 starts.

Jake Bauers has already set a new career high for home runs and can add another tonight.
A pair of losing MLB best home run bets on Wednesday dropped the season's record to 18-61 and three no-bets. The record for home run props isn't impressive without adding context, but it's quite good for long-shot bets, such as home run bets.
As a result, anyone who has bet $100 on each of the touted home run bets at the listed odds this year is up $1,061. The profits are nice, as they award some wiggle room for an inevitable cold streak. Home run bets are challenging to hit, and stacking losing picks is part of the equation.
Still, as the season's profits illustrate, carefully picking home run props can leave bettors in the black. Tonight offers two more compelling home run bets for slugging first basemen with above-average power and favorable matchups. Furthermore, the odds for their home run props are tasty.

Hut 8 Corp. (HUT) is a Miami-headquartered energy infrastructure platform founded in 2018 that operates at the convergence of power, digital infrastructure, and high-performance computing. The company builds, owns, and operates large-scale data center campuses for AI and high-performance computing workloads, underpinned by a "power-first" development strategy targeting long-duration, triple-net leases with investment-grade hyperscaler tenants.
Its portfolio spans four segments: Power, Digital Infrastructure, Compute, and a recently spun-out Bitcoin (BTCUSD) mining division operating as American Bitcoin (ABTC). With $16.8 billion in contracted lease revenue across its flagship Riverbend and Beacon Point campuses, a 9+ GW development pipeline, and Nvidia (NVDA) as a design partner, Hut 8 has rapidly repositioned itself from a crypto miner into one of North America's most compelling pure-play AI infrastructure landlords.

City Different global equity strategies delivered strong results in the second quarter, but trailed the global market driven by AI enthusiasm. Its Focused Global returned +7.08%, and Global Equity returned +5.36% during the quarter. This compared to the MSCI All Country World Index return of +14.93%. YTD, the strategies returned +11.28% and +5.29%, vs +11.25% for the index. The firm remains optimistic about these portfolios, which are constructed based on long-term fundamental ****** sments. In its Q2 2026 investor letter, City Different Investments highlighted ICON Public Limited Company (NASDAQ:ICLR). ICON Public Limited Company (NASDAQ:ICLR) is a clinical research organization that provides outsourced development and commercialization services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. On July 21, 2026, ICON Public Limited Company (NASDAQ:ICLR) stock closed at $166.62 per share. One-month return of ICON Public Limited Company (NASDAQ:ICLR) was 4.54%, and its shares lost 1.51% over the past 52 weeks. ICON Public Limited Company (NASDAQ:ICLR) has a market capitalization of about $12.72 billion.
City Different Investments stated the following regarding ICON Public Limited Company (NASDAQ:ICLR) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"ICON Public Limited Company (NASDAQ:ICLR) was a new purchase and became the top contributor to our results for the second quarter. Founded in 1990 by two Irish doctors, this Dublin-based provider of clinical research services and ****** ytics saw its stock price clobbered over the past two years due to the triple whammy of: 1/ a post-COVID-19 demand slowdown; 2/ AI-related fears; and 3/ an accounting error that led to a minor restatement of results. However, our team has followed this industry since 2019, and we bought ICON eagerly in April once the valuation became compelling. Now the accounting error has already been fixed, and leading growth indicators, such as bookings and cancellations, are encouraging. Our research suggests that ICON could be a net beneficiary of AI due to proprietary data, domain expertise, and regulatory barriers, among other factors. A combination of an improving growth rate and a declining share count could boost ICON's valuation from here."

IREN Limited (IREN) just gave investors another compelling reason to pay attention. The artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure company announced $2.8 billion in new multi-year AI cloud services contracts with leading artificial intelligence developers, marking another major milestone in its transformation from a Bitcoin miner into one of the fastest-growing AI cloud infrastructure providers. The new agreements prompted management to raise its 2026 annualized AI cloud revenue target to more than $4 billion, underscoring the accelerating demand for high-performance computing capacity.
The latest contracts build on IREN's growing portfolio of blue-chip AI customers, which already includes partnerships with companies such as Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) and Nvidia Corporation (NVDA). Importantly, approximately 45% of the GPU capital expenditure required for these deployments will be funded through customer prepayments, significantly reducing financing risk while supporting the company's aggressive expansion strategy.

Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU) stock has shed close to 29% of its value over the past month, but it has nothing to do with fundamentals. This decision was made to "protect the experience of existing subscribers."
Kimi is a chatbot with a similar setup to OpenAI's ChatGPT, where you can enter prompts or have AI agents perform tasks. Each of those prompts and AI agents requires compute from GPUs, and the GPUs need memory chips to remember everything and function more efficiently.
Kimi AI's news demonstrates parabolic demand for its services, which can only be met by buying more memory chips. This event isn't limited to Kimi AI. Other companies have more GPUs or are taking extra precautions to ensure they do not run out of compute. If other businesses don't want to turn away customers amid soaring demand, they will have to buy more Micron chips.

Redwire Corporation (RDW) has taken investors on a roller-coaster ride this year. Alibaba (NYSE:BABA) has strengthened its position as one of China's most compelling artificial intelligence investment opportunities. In 2025, the company announced it would invest about $53 billion over three years to strengthen its AI and cloud infrastructure. More recently, it has indicated it plans to exceed the original investment as demand for AI computing continues to grow.
The investment drive underscores Alibaba's ambition to become China's leading AI infrastructure provider. A major catalyst arrived on July 15, when Apple secured regulatory approval to launch Apple Intelligence in China. Alibaba's Qwen large language model will power many Apple Intelligence capabilities in the country, including text generation, image understanding, and conversational AI. The partnership represents one of the strongest endorsements yet of Alibaba's AI technology.
Apple's strategic partnership is expected to enhance Alibaba's reputation as China's leading enterprise AI provider. It is also poised to position Alibaba at the center of Apple's AI rollout in one of the world's largest smartphone markets. In Mainland China, there are between 260 and 300 million active iOS devices that Alibaba can tap into with its AI Qwen Language.
The strategic partnership is also poised to accelerate the adoption of Alibaba Cloud AI services and enable it to generate additional AI-related revenue opportunities. Management expects AI products to contribute more than half of cloud revenue as commercialization expands.
Alibaba's fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 results already demonstrate the momentum in its AI business. While total revenue was up 3% in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, the increase was driven by accelerated performance in Cloud Intelligence Group. Cloud Intelligence revenue climbed 38%, with AI-related products accounting for 30% of external cloud revenue.

Right now, the twin forces of the artificial intelligence (AI) build-out and relentless demand for connectivity are lifting some of the strongest names in technology and telecom. Here are five compelling stocks worth buying more of, starting with the one everyone is watching.
Continue »
Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO) has quietly become one of the most important companies in AI. It designs the custom chips that giants, including Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL) and Meta Platforms, use to run their own AI systems, and it dominates the networking gear that ties thousands of those chips together inside a data center. On top of that, its infrastructure software business, anchored by VMware, throws off steady, high-margin revenue that cushions the more cyclical chip side. With a massive AI order backlog and a clear path toward much larger AI sales, Broadcom pairs explosive growth with a diversified base most chipmakers lack.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (NYSE: TSM) is the company that builds the world's most advanced chips, including those designed by Broadcom and Nvidia. Its management recently called AI demand "extremely robust" and raised its growth outlook, while pouring another $100 billion into its Arizona campus and ramping its cutting-edge 2-nanometer technology. Because nearly every leading chip company depends on its factories, Taiwan Semiconductor sits at an irreplaceable chokepoint in the AI economy. That is about as wide a moat as you will find.
Alphabet combines the cash machine of Google Search with a fast-growing cloud business and its own leading AI models. The company is investing enormous sums, including a plan to raise tens of billions to fund its AI infrastructure, and it is weaving AI across its products rather than being disrupted by it. Notably, Berkshire Hathaway built a large stake in Alphabet, a vote of confidence from the most famous value investor's company that this is a wonderful business at a fair price.

One week from today the Atlanta Falcons will hold their first training camp practice ahead of the 2026 NFL season. The only story that's likely to get any real attention from the media will be the quarterback competition between Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa.
As it happens, this is also the only QB battle around the league that's actually compelling. Kyler Murray seems destined to beat out JJ McCarthy in Minnesota and former Falcons veteran Kirk Cousins will almost certainly start over No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza out in Las Vegas.
So, who will win the Falcons' quarterback competition? Many ******* ysts believe it will be Tagovailoa, including Alex Kay at Bleacher Report. Here's why he's picking Tua to win the QB1 spot over Penix.
"While Miami was understandably ready to move on from Tua after two straight down years, the quarterback is still just 28 years old and should have plenty left in the tank for 2026... Tagovailoa gives new head coach Kevin Stefanski his best chance to hit the ground running and make Atlanta a top contender in a wide-open NFC South race. If Tua can avoid injury and establish a rapport with the likes of Drake London and Bijan Robinson in camp, Penix will be relegated to the bench in 2026."
Tagovailoa's best trait is accuracy, which is something that head coach Kevin Stefanski covets in his quarterbacks. When he was playing well in Miami, Tagovailoa was one of the more accurate passers in the entire NFL. In 2024, he completed nearly 73 percent of his passes.

Its Focused Global returned +7.08%, and Global Equity returned +5.36% during the quarter. This compared to the MSCI All Country World Index return of +14.93%. YTD, the strategies returned +11.28% and +5.29%, vs +11.25% for the index. The global strategies involve focused portfolios of long-only equities selected on a global basis, aimed at long-term investment potential. The firm remains optimistic about these portfolios, which are constructed based on long-term fundamental **** sments. In addition, please check the Fund's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
Founded in 1990 by two Irish doctors, this Dublin-based provider of clinical research services and **** ytics saw its stock price clobbered over the past two years due to the triple whammy of: 1/ a post-COVID-19 demand slowdown; 2/ AI-related fears; and 3/ an accounting error that led to a minor restatement of results.

Marvell (MRVL) has crashed 40% from peak, which is double the semiconductor sector's 20% drop, making it a compelling dip-buy candidate.
Tech firms are aggressively pursuing custom silicon to escape Nvidia's premium GPU margins, a tailwind that shows no sign of slowing.
UBS set a $340 target on Marvell, implying 64% upside, driven by the CXL business's path to a $10 billion TAM.
Act now: the **** yst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and Marvell Technology didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.
For value investors who don't believe the AI bubble is bursting, starting with the semiconductor industry, some of the harder-hit names within the **** e might be worth a closer look. L1 Capital, an investment management firm, released its "L1 Capital International Fund" (unhedged) second-quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. The letter discusses the current investment environment as a 'two-speed' but resilient global economy, accompanied by an uncertain future. The letter explores the potential of an AI bubble, distinguishing between strong fundamentals and speculative momentum. Additionally, the market displays a 'narrow' character, marked by high exuberance and ****** ounced over-pessimism. Against this backdrop, the Fund returned +2.6% (net of fees) during the June 2026 quarter, compared to the benchmark return of +12.5% (all in A$). The underperformance was driven more by which investments were not held in the Fund. The Fund remains focused on quality, valuation and the avoidance of permanent capital loss, and believes the portfolio is positioned to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns for patient investors. In addition, you can check the Fund's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
According to L1 Capital International Fund's Q2 2026 investor letter, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE), a US-based financial services company that provides technology, data, and market infrastructure to financial institutions, corporations, and government entities, detracted from the performance. On July 17, 2026, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) closed at $139.65 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $78.97 billion. Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) posted a one-month return of 6.33%, and its shares lost 22.76% over the past 52 weeks.
L1 Capital International Fund stated the following regarding Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE) is an example of a high quality business that is not particularly AI-sensitive (positively or negatively) that we ****** s to be trading at a compelling valuation. ICE is trading on a forward price to earnings ratio of around 17x, a level we have not seen since the GFC.
ICE has been a long-term holding of the Fund, and we have discussed the investment on many prior occasions. In our view, not much has changed. There are some market concerns around the impact AI may have on the number of people using ICE's proprietary data and ****** ytics. We think this is a peripheral issue and unlikely to materially impact ICE. The larger market concern is that the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), which regulates many of ICE's markets, may authorise 'perpetual' derivatives and encourage competition in products such as crypto that could compete with established regulated exchanges.

More than half a century has elapsed since the last big exhibition of work by Richard Dadd, the Victorian one-off who murdered his father while in his 20s and spent the rest of his life painting in psychiatric institutions. The most famous of his seemingly psychedelic compositions is The Fairy-Feller's Master-Stroke (1855-64), an airless, intricate and profoundly eccentric picture swarming with supernatural creatures, each apparently no bigger than a blade of grass. Surely it's the product of a fevered brain?
Richard Dadd: Beyond Bedlam, at the Royal Academy of Arts, invites us to consider its subject afresh, not as a lunatic who happened to paint but as a first-rate artist who lived with mental illness (probably schizophrenia), a little like Vincent van Gogh. Although, on this evidence, his folkloric paintings can appear obscure, as well as multitudinous and hallucinatory, the originality of his vision reinforces the show's premise. This exhibition may be weird, but it's certainly compelling.
Despite Dadd's medical history, it would be wrong to categorise him as an "outsider" artist. He was born in Kent in 1817, his mother died when he was a child, then, at the age of 19, he entered the Royal Academy Schools, a move emphasised (unsurprisingly, given its setting) by this exhibition's dull opening room. If Dadd's mature art appears technically accomplished and steeped in art history – I have a hunch that an odd watercolour of 1852 depicting Robin Hood craftily alludes to The Archers (1769-70) by Sir Joshua Reynolds now in Tate Britain – that's because he was trained, as well as talented.
After winning acclaim for some early Shakespearean fairy pictures, including one of a corpulent, malevolent-looking Puck sitting cross-legged on a fungus beneath a foxglove like a dripping shower head, Dadd was invited, in 1842, to accompany Thomas Phillips, a Welsh lawyer and politician, on a trip around the eastern Mediterranean. Over-stimulated by this grand tour, Dadd began suffering delusions. On his return to London, he became convinced that his father was a devil and killed him with a knife. A year later, he was admitted to Bethlem and remained there for two decades before being transferred to Broadmoor Hospital, where he would eventually die from tuberculosis, in 1886.
During his time as a patient, medical attitudes to mental illness started to shift. In 1854, Dadd produced Agony – Raving Madness, a watercolour of a manacled, half-naked, evidently tormented patient clutching at his head. Yet, Dadd's doctors wanted physical coercion to become a thing of the past. They allowed him to draw and paint as he wished, and even commissioned him to do so; exceptionally, at Broadmoor, they also provided him with carpentry tools, so that he could build his own idiosyncratic wooden picture frames (two of which appear at the Royal Academy).

Continue »

At first glance, Oklo appears to be a compelling investment. Those price targets, however, even at the median, may be a bit too optimistic for the next 12 months.

Had you invested $10,000 in the S&P 500 index 10 years ago, your investment would have grown to roughly $41,420 today. On an annualized basis, this translates to an excellent 15.3% total return (as of July 16). This more recent return is significantly better than the benchmark's long-term 10% average.
While the S&P 500 index is doing well in 2026 (up 11.3%), there's an international exchange-traded fund (ETF) that's outperforming it by about two percentage points. This is a shorter time frame for comparison, so investors shouldn't use it to jump to any conclusions. But it might be worth it to take a closer look.

Investors would be wise to think about adding the Vanguard Total International Stock ETF (NASDAQ: VXUS) to their watch lists for further consideration. Based on the latest data, it has $652 billion in total **** ets, with an inception date of January 2011. There are over 8,700 stocks in the portfolio. And the expense ratio is compelling at 0.05%.
This ETF doesn't own any businesses based in the U.S., so investors will get completely different exposure than the S&P 500 index provides. In other words, the Vanguard Total International Stock ETF can provide a sort of hedge if you think you're heavily concentrated in American companies, most notably the Magnificent Seven stocks.

After a thrilling 2026 World Cup tournament taking place over the past month across 16 different cities in Canada, the United States and Mexico, it's all come down to this: The final matchup between Argentina and Spain taking place at New York New Jersey Stadium. There will be heated rivalries. There will be a first-ever halftime show. And there will be a huge number of celebrities in the stands cheering on the final two teams.
The past few weeks have been packed with plenty of compelling narratives that have had fans hooked, whether it's been the viral run on ranch dressing after tourists discovered it in the U.S.A.; the super fans who sacrificed to get seats in the stadium; the players who made a major impact in their first time on the global stage (who could forget Vozinha?) or the general thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.
See which stars showed up to watch some soccer (and Shakira) for the final game World Cup 2026.

Private equity billionaire Leon Black walked out of his transcribed interview with the House Oversight Committee regarding his decades-long relationship with Jeffrey Epstein after refusing to answer questions about nondisclosure agreements allegedly related to the disgraced ***** offender, according to a transcript of the June 26 interview released by the committee Friday.
While he said he would be willing to talk about three women involved in lawsuits against him, Black repeatedly declined to answer questions about how many nondisclosure agreements he was involved in, citing the advice of his attorneys.
"I'm not here to talk about confidential NDAs," Black said, later adding. "I'm not here to talk about who has NDAs."

Heartland Advisors, an investment management company, released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter for "Heartland Mid Cap Value Fund". A copy can be downloaded here. Mid-cap stocks sharply rose in the second quarter, driven by perceived AI beneficiaries, particularly in Technology. The Fund returned 9.90% in the quarter, compared to the Russell Midcap® Value Index's 13.40% return. The underperformance was driven by negative stock selection despite Tech being one of the top absolute return contributors. In the challenging environment, the Fund remains focused on its disciplined approach to security selection. In addition, you can check the Fund's top 5 holdings to determine its best picks for 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Heartland Mid Cap Value Fund highlighted MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:MKTX). MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:MKTX) is a leading financial technology company that operates an electronic trading platform. On July 14, 2026, MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:MKTX) stock closed at $114.87 per share. One-month return of MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:MKTX) was -4.20%, and its shares lost 46.70% of their value over the last 52 weeks. MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:MKTX) has a market capitalization of $4.08 billion.
Heartland Mid Cap Value Fund stated the following regarding MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:MKTX) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"Financials. While ON was one of the Fund's top contributor last quarter, the biggest detractor to our Strategy's performance was MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:MKTX), a position we initiated in the first quarter and built in the second quarter. MKTX operates the largest U.S. corporate bond e-trading platform. It sits in a market blind spot —neither championed as an AI winner nor penalized by the AI disruption narrative—offering a high-quality, attractively valued profile with self-help-driven margin expansion potential. However, current macro conditions are a headwind. Heavy primary bond issuance volume, much of it financing the AI boom, alongside tighter credit spreads, has temporarily diverted trading volume away from MKTX's core secondary market.
Why do we remain confident in MKTX? First, the company is exiting a heavy investment cycle that historically pressured margins, setting up strong operating leverage as the pace of spending plateaus and volumes improve. Second, industry trading data indicates market share gains across a key U.S. credit trading protocol where the company investments have been focused. Third, MKTX holds distinct scale advantages in developed international and emerging markets, where electronic trading penetration is still low by comparison to the U.S. Valuation is also highly compelling: the stock trades at 8.8X consensus 2026 Enterprise Value/EBITDA versus a domestic peer median of 14.0X. Despite its superior profit margins and balance sheet, MarketAxess yields over 8% on a FCF/EV basis and is well-positioned for a multi-year profit grow
