Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has praised his side's response to their pre-international break humbling at Brighton.
The Gunners were ripped apart by the vibrant Seagulls at the end of September and had to stew on the defeat for three weeks as players went away to their national teams.
But they made it three wins from three after the restart as Noni Madueke's late goal earned a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
And Raya, whose side face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday, hailed the reaction as "incredible".
"We came back very, very strong, especially after that tough defeat against Brighton and having 19 days since then to play a game," he told the club website.

I'd argue that we've critiqued ourselves into mass hysteria, conflating personal opinion with expertise. Just because someone has something to say doesn't mean they actually know what they're saying. There once was a time when people took the time to learn, gain experience, and work in a specific field so they're equipped to handle certain industries. But now, everyone simply thinks they know enough about everything. And it's making fashion and entertainment commentary less fun for everyone involved.
Over the last few weeks, with Fashion Month, the Emmys, and the VMAs, we were inundated with sartorial opinions on the internet. Top of mind for me was Shailene Woodley's Emmys look.

London — The involvement of a small American firm linked to **** ociates of President Trump in an energy project in Bosnia and Herzegovina worth more than $1.5 billion has raised questions about how the White House could be using its leverage in the fragile Balkan state.
U.S. lawmakers accuse the Trump administration of lifting sanctions on Bosnian Serb separatist leader Milorad Dodik in an effort to enrich and empower allies of Mr. Trump, and of undermining longstanding U.S. foreign policy interests in the region in the process.
On Sunday, Mr. Trump was hailed by Dodik after his Serb nationalist party won one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's three presidency seats, which are split between Bosnia's Muslim minority, known as Bosniaks, as well as Serb and Croat ethnic groups under the country's complex power-sharing electoral system.
"If it had not been for Donald Trump's magnificent victory … we would probably be political corpses today," Dodik told supporters in a speech, in which he also thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for his support.

The RHONY Season 16 cast member said she now considered Gosselin family. She had also developed a positive relationship with his wife, Stephanie Gosselin.

Sourced by London-based curator My Runway Archive and styled by Dani Michelle, the white midi dress seen on Bieber was first worn by her It girl predecessor during her rehearsal dinner with John F. Kennedy Jr. And while it's typically Bessette-Kennedy's minimalist bias-cut silk slip wedding dress that gets all the recognition, this backless number was a quieter star of the weekend—with its sleeveless silhouette, low V neckline, and shimmering transparent fabric.
The piece (see here) was designed by CBK's longtime friend and collaborator, Narciso Rodriguez, for his Spring/Summer 1997 collection for Cerruti. Grab Holdings (NASDAQ:GRAB), a super-app for ride-hailing, deliveries, and digital financial services, closed at $2.87, down 1.37%. The stock moved after Grab announced a $1.49 billion cash deal for a 60% stake in Atome Financial. Investors are watching the financial services expansion and consumer lending reach looking ahead. Trading volume reached 82.1M shares, coming in about 72% above its three-month average of 47.6M shares. Grab Holdings IPO'd in 2020 and has fallen 76% since going public.
The S&P 500 (SNPINDEX:^GSPC) fell 0.43% to 7,553, and the Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX:^IXIC) slipped 0.01% to 25,978. Among ride-hailing, delivery, and consumer fintech platforms, Uber Technologies (NYSE:UBER) closed at $71.01, down 0.59%, while Lyft (NASDAQ:LYFT) finished at $15.69, unchanged, as mobility peers remained in focus.
Grab, the Southeast Asian delivery, mobility, and financial services upstart, continues to show it intends to become the leading "superapp" in its niche after acquiring 60% of Atome Financial for $1.49 billion today. Prior to the deal, Grab held over $6 billion in cash versus minimal debt, so the deal shouldn't be a funding problem by any means.
Atome Financial operates in five of Grab's six markets and brings over 25 million unique transacting users, helping to beef up the latter's fintech offerings. Atome has seen its gross merchandise volume grow ninefold over the last six years and is profitable on an adjusted EBITDA basis.
As of 2024, merely 5% of Southeast Asian adults owned a credit card and only 14% had borrowed from a financial institution, so the potential here for Grab could be massive if they execute successfully upon this opportunity.

Every 3% or 5% single-day pop in technology stocks and high-beta market darlings is being hailed by retail momentum chasers as the definitive return of the bull market. Autonomous vehicle company May Mobility is merging with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) and will become a publicly traded company. It's a deal that could raise more than $300 million for May Mobility at a valuation of $1.4 billion, the company said Wednesday.
Once the merger is complete, May Mobility said it will be the first public company in the U.S. that is focused entirely on autonomous ride-hailing vehicles. This is meant to differentiate it from a number of other public companies working on autonomy, including Tesla, Rivian, Alphabet (with Waymo), and trucking-focused Aurora and Kodiak.
The move sets up May Mobility to be a test of the stock market's appetite for pure-play robotaxi ventures.
It will also be a test of May Mobility's approach to autonomy, which it pitches as "asset-light" and "partnership-first." Instead of owning and operating the robotaxis, May Mobility's business revolves around selling its autonomous vehicles to its fleet partners over time while maintaining control of any remote supervision and software updates. In exchange, May Mobility receives either fixed fees or per-trip licensing fees.
Founded in 2017, May Mobility currently operates autonomous Toyota Siennas in three locations in the U.S. It has a partnership with Lyft in Atlanta, and offers rides in two cities — Eden Prairie and Grand Rapids — in Minnesota.

Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) spent nearly two years raising anticipation for the Cybercab. When the time arrived on September 3 in Austin, the result was a stock that popped, then rapidly returned all of its gains, and a robotaxi race that still seems to be Alphabet's to lose.
Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) had its long-awaited Cybercab launch event in Austin, Texas, but it was invitation-only, not livestreamed, and CEO Elon Musk wasn't there. The company's main public update was a 51-second video released on X of the two-seat, steering-wheel-free vehicle roaming city streets and people hailing it by app. Shares rose roughly 5% throughout the session, finishing near $376. By September 4, enthusiasm had waned, with the stock plummeting as much as 6% as investors realized how little the event revealed about deployment timelines, production ramp, or regulatory clearance.
Only 45 Cybercabs were registered in Texas, and Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) did not seek an NHTSA exemption before deployment, instead self-certifying the Cybercab as compliant with applicable federal safety standards. NHTSA subsequently opened an audit into that certification and has ordered Tesla to provide additional information about the basis for its compliance claims. CNBC summarized the reaction bluntly: the update "underwhelmed" Wall Street, which had been relying on Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) becoming a strong rival in the robotaxi sector, which Alphabet's Waymo currently leads.
That comparison is at the heart of the story. Waymo has established the operational track record that Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) is still chasing: more than 4,000 autonomous vehicles across its U.S. fleet and more than 500,000 fully autonomous rides per week.
Wall Street's take on the incident was severely divided along those lines. Despite Tesla's efforts to control the narrative, some ******* ysts, including Gary Black of Future Fund, called the Cybercab debut largely a bust. VIENNA (AP) — Iran on Monday condemned the exclusion of the head of its Atomic Energy Organization from the annual gathering of the United Nations nuclear agency in Vienna saying that it constitutes "a serious breach" of Tehran's rights as a member nation.
"By obstructing our full and effective participation, the denial of access contravenes both the letter and the spirit of the legal framework" governing attendance at meetings of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran's ambassador to the agency, Reza Najafi, told delegates at its general conference.
Najafi criticized Austria, the host country of the IAEA and other U.N. organizations, saying that Vienna's decision not to grant a visa to Mohammad Eslami "violates the host country's obligation."
The Russian ambassador to the U.N. in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, echoed Iran's remarks, saying that Austria had "grossly violated" its obligations as host nation of the IAEA.
Western nations had "unleashed a genuine campaign of visa-related abuses so as to settle scores with countries they deem to be undesirable," he said.

(NASDAQ:LYFT) has begun offering Waymo's fully autonomous robotaxi rides directly through its app in Nashville, marking the first market where Waymo vehicles can be booked through both the Waymo and Lyft apps. Lyft users requesting Standard, Priority Pickup, Wait & Save, or Extra Comfort rides within the designated Nashville service area can be matched with a Waymo vehicle at no additional cost.
The rollout also gives Lyft a larger role in the autonomous-vehicle ecosystem through its Flexdrive subsidiary, which will manage charging, cleaning and maintenance for Waymo's fleet. Reuters previously reported that the Nashville partnership was intended to become Waymo's first commercial deployment through Lyft's ride-hailing network.

The partnership could strengthen Lyft, Inc. (NASDAQ:LYFT)'s long-term position in a ride-hailing industry that is increasingly moving toward autonomous vehicles. Rather than spending heavily to develop its own robotaxi technology, Lyft can leverage Waymo's autonomous-driving capabilities while providing the customer base, app infrastructure, and fleet-management services needed to put those vehicles to work. Sep. 14—It was an extraordinary football weekend that saw the two Big Ten favorites, Ohio State and Oregon, join the Illini in stunning disappointments. What follows are four burning takes from Saturday's scramble.
(1) Is the new UI defensive system unworkable at this level, or are the linemen simply lacking in NFL-level talent required of conference contenders?
Conclusion: It's equal proportions of both as the Illini permitted 43 first downs in two outings.
In the opener against UAB, the defense permitted 17 rushes of five yards or more, and gave up 194 ground yards while managing one sack. The Illini won with four huge plays, including a 65-yard punt return and a Hail Mary, avoiding early trouble because four UAB drives were chilled by Blazer penalties. Illinois tackling was already a major concern.
Against Duke on Saturday, the Illini again had a single sack amid surprisingly effective passes by Walker Eget (15 of 21 for 206 yards), and never got sensational Nate Sheppard under control. Sheppard bulled and darted for 147 yards, caught five passes for 41 and scored three touchdowns.
