DrewDober credits TerenceCrawford with helping him adjust his approach against RafaelAlves.
Dober met Crawford at B&B Boxing in Omaha, Nebraska, andrecalls the boxer leaving him bloodied during their first sparringsession. Years later, Crawford offered advice from ringside thatDober says helped him finish Alves at UFC277 in Dallas.
Dober said Crawford switched to southpaw to mirror his stance andbloodied his nose with a jab. He recalled absorbing three punchesfor every one he attempted to throw.
"Terence Crawford bloodied my nose in the first 30 seconds of ourspar. I was a young fighter in a North Omaha gym," Dober wrote onX. "Never heard of the guy they called 'Bud.' He saw I was asouthpaw, switched to southpaw too, and stuck me with one jab. Iwas bleeding like a stuck pig."
Crawford attended Dober's fight against Alves at UFC 277 in 2022.Dober said he struggled to connect cleanly because of Alves' headmovement. As he returned to his corner after the opening round, henoticed Crawford calling from the front row and urging him toattack the body.
Dober followed that advice, finding success in the second roundbefore knocking out Alves with a body punch in the third.
"In the fight against RafaelAlves, I'm trying to hit him in the face, I'm throwing punchesand this man has amazing head movement…" Dober recalled. "After thefirst round, I'm going over to my corner and I see Terence Crawfordin that front row. And he's just yelling at me, 'Drew, Drew.' So, Ilook at him and he goes, 'Go to the body, go to the body.' I waslike, if Crawford says it. So, in the second round, I started goingto the body and started finding success. So, in the third round, Ithrew a liver shot and I dropped him with that liver shot."
Dober (29-15, 1 NC) has won his last two fights by stoppage andwill face ChrisDuncan (15-3) at UFC334 on Nov. 14 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

NBA rumors: 2 Clippers named as Thunder trade targets in addition to Herb Jones, Ty Jerome appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
After the Oklahoma City Thunder's first loss of the season in a 120-96 blowout to the Dallas Mavericks, will GM Sam Presti make a move for either New Orleans Pelicans' Herb Jones or Memphis Grizzlies' Ty Jerome sooner rather than later? The injuries continue to stack up for the Thunder, as Alex Caruso and Chet Holmgren were both out in addition to Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace's setbacks ahead of Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.
For a team like the LA Clippers, who lost first-round picks for the next five seasons, Derrick Jones Jr. and Kris Dunn have also been mentioned as potential trade targets for Presti, who has more future firsts than any other GM in the NBA. While the Thunder are in no rush to make a trade, Presti will most likely do so at some point before this year's deadline, as ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel noted, per Clutch Scoops.
"The Thunder are going to make at least one trade. That's a given," Siegel said. "We know that Sam Presti is always very adventagous on the trade market. We didn't think that they were going to make a trade last season. And then, Jared McCain fell in their lap because they leveraged some draft picks — first-round and second-round picks — that we're going to be of use to them. We could see something similar happen this year, where it's not going to be a big splashy name; a $20-plus million guy.

How do you feel after the Cowboys' pivotal win over the Eagles? For some, it's infused hope back into this season. Others see it as fool's gold: a cheap win against a broken Philly team that says little about Dallas' prospects going forward.

Charlize Theron leaned into the age-old color-blocking trend for her latest public appearance in a Givenchy outfit. "The Odyssey" star accepted the Award of Inspiration at the amfAR Dallas 2026 on October 24. She looked stunning as ever in the outfit that blended deconstructed athletic wear and avant-garde tailoring.
For the amfAR Dallas 2026, Charlize Theron pulled an outfit straight from the runway. She was wearing a red-and-black color-blocked look from Givenchy's Spring 2027 Ready-to-Wear collection. It featured a fitted, finely ribbed black tank top with a classic scoop neckline. The top had double-strap detailing along the shoulders, creating subtle cutouts. Further, vivid red contrast binding along the neck and armholes framed her upper torso with crisp, geometric energy.
The lower half of the look transitioned into wide-leg trousers featuring a unique architectural drape. A wrapped, jacket-like layer folded downward over the hips. This inverted upper structure featured structured lapels trimmed in matching crimson piping, creating a layered trompe-l'œil effect. The voluminous folds added an intentional sense of asymmetry and rich textural depth to the otherwise minimalist black base.
A black leather belt with an oversized, round metallic disc buckle brought a hardware element that drew the eye straight to her waist. Further, Theron's beauty styling kept the spotlight firmly on the outfit's strong lines and interesting palette. She wore her blonde hair in an edgy, wet-look short crop. Soft, side-swept tendrils casually framed one side of her face while the rest was slicked back cleanly.
The Academy Award winner's makeup was minimal but striking, featuring a matte complexion, defined eyes, light pink blush on her cheeks, and a neutral, rosy-nude lip. She wore a stack of silver earrings that framed her face without distracting from her outfit. Black leather open-toe mules peeked from underneath her trousers, maintaining the dark color palette.

The Dallas Cowboys entered Sunday night hoping a players-only meeting and a new defensive voice would help turn the season around. Instead, Green Bay's defense delivered the most convincing response of the night.
The Packers intercepted Dak Prescott twice and held Dallas to 13 points in a 23-13 victory at Lambeau Field. The Cowboys entered the game averaging 27.6 points per game, but they went into halftime trailing 17-0 and could not make up the difference.
Green Bay improved to 4-2 with its third straight win. Dallas fell to 2-4, and the loss extended a frustrating stretch for a team that had hoped to find a spark after its Week 5 defeat.
Prescott's two interceptions halted promising Dallas possessions. Evan Williams picked him off in the second quarter, and rookie Brandon Cisse recorded the first interception of his career later in the half.

It's official: Joey Porter Jr. was active for a second game with the Dallas Cowboys, and the Pittsburgh Steelers can finally breathe a sigh of relief with additional draft capital now heading their way.
A big part of the Steelers-Cowboys trade was a conditional sixth-round pick that required Porter to be on Dallas' game-day roster for at least two games, which appeared to be in jeopardy following his surprise absence in Week 5 and concerning ankle injury on the Week 6 practice report. Luckily for the Steelers, Porter was active for the Cowboys' blowout loss to the Green Bay Packers, and Dallas' 2027 sixth-round pick is officially heading to Pittsburgh.
Joey Porter Jr. is active and the Cowboys’ sixth round pick in 2027 is now officially owned by the Steelers with this being the second game Porter is active https://t.co/TqG1mnN1H4
Porter was a solid contributor for Pittsburgh during his three years in the league, slowly cementing himself as one of the league's top man-coverage cornerbacks. Unfortunately, the Steelers and Porter couldn't strike a deal before the start of the regular season, the team's historically self-imposed deadline, which resulted in a huge disconnect between both sides.
After failing to suit up for the Steelers with a "back injury" early in the 2026 season, Porter gave the team no choice but to trade him to any willing suitor, which so happened to be the Cowboys. Porter, however, isn't expected to receive a long-term deal from Dallas at this time and will instead play out the final year of his rookie contract.

The Green Bay Packers have won three straight games, but their running game is still waiting to catch up. Now, Matt LaFleur believes the return of Josh Jacobs could help change that.
Green Bay defeated the Dallas Cowboys 23-13 on Sunday night, improving to 4-2 despite gaining just 57 rushing yards on 26 attempts. Even against a Dallas defense that entered the game ranked last in the NFL against the run, the Packers struggled to move the ball on the ground.
Jacobs is eligible to return next week against the Detroit Lions, and LaFleur is optimistic about what the veteran could bring. He isn't promising an immediate turnaround, though.
After Sunday's victory, LaFleur was asked whether Jacobs can help revive Green Bay's struggling ground attack. His answer carried both optimism and a degree of caution.
"Time will tell. But I do have a lot of confidence that he can provide a spark," LaFleur said, via The Leap's Jason B. Hirschhorn.

It could be argued that, after falling to 2-4 and seeing many of the grand plans of this 2026 Dallas Cowboys team sit utterly deflated following a 23-13 loss to the Packers on Sunday night in Green Bay, coach Brian Schottenheimer was in an impossible situation. What to say to your NFL team, after a devastating loss in which you were dominated on both sides of the ball, in which any progress made on the defensive side of the ball in the second half was offset first by the defense's poor play in the first half and the offense's poor play overall?
But Schottenheimer did go to the podium for his press conference on Sunday night and was asked what he said to the team.
His message: "The effort is right, the fight is right, but mistakes are killing us. Repeating mistakes is not what we're about. But we've got to protect the football. Five turnovers in two games, not very good. Got to find the running game. That starts with myself and the offensive staff. Got to get off the field on third down on defense, whether that's penalties or losing 1-on-1s. So, we got to clean it up. Lost two games in a row, not playing well. Got to take a hard look at it. Starts with me."
It is hard to say that, given the level of talent on this team–on the offensive line, in the receiver's room, at quarterback, at running back–that mistakes alone are the problem. The Cowboys did play harder and more aggressively on Sunday in Green Bay, that was obvious. But that also raises the question of where that effort and aggressiveness was in Week 5 against the Buccaneers, as well as at other times this season?
And, it could be argued, that the tendency toward mistakes with penalties and turnovers are a symptom of poor preparation and discipline. That's part of effort, and part of fight. So, it's hard to say that it's mistakes alone that are holding the team back.

GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN - OCTOBER 11: Brandon Cisse #2 of the Green Bay Packers runs upfield during the game against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field on October 11, 2026 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. (Photo by Daniel Bartel/Getty Images) Getty
Green Bay Packers rookie cornerback Brandon Cisse left the Green Bay Packers' Week 6 win over the Dallas Cowboys with a stinger in his shoulder. He suffered the injury with just over eight minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
Cisse was ******* isted off the field and was checked out in the medical blue tent. However, he did not return to the game. The team listed him as questionable to return. Part of the reason he did not return likely had to do with the state of the game.
Green Bay was leading 23-7 when Cisse left the game. He did not return for that drive, and the Packers forced a turnover on downs.
When Dallas got the ball back, there were just over two minutes to go with Green Bay up by two scores. So, there was no need for him to return.

Green Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft caught five passes for 37 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. Kraft was targeted eight times in the win.
SOURCE: USA TODAY
Why It Matters: Unquestionably the most important thing that happened for Kraft on Sunday night was that he avoided another knee injury as he headed to the blue medical tent after taking a low hit. He was able to return, however, which is big news for the Packers and Kraft owners. While the talented tight end still hasn't gotten fully back to form, he's one of the three pillars of the passing game with Christian Watson and Matthew Golden, and as those two continue to command attention, it should open things up for Kraft. He's a low-end TE1 right now, but he could push toward top-five status if he can recapture his pre-injury form.

The Green Bay Packers' defense hasn't had Micah Parsons on the field this season. However, it found another way to shut the door on Sunday night. The Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys 23-13 at Lambeau Field, holding Dak Prescott to 34-of-54 passing for 258 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions.
Notably, it was the third straight game Green Bay has held an opponent to 14 points or fewer, a feat that prompted former Packers QB Kurt Benkert to highlight Green Bay's defense on X.
Benkert focused on how the Packers were doing great teamwork on defense.
He wrote that seeing the defense "schematically causing problems for high-powered offenses" has him "really excited for what December and January football can look like for them."
The Packers' defense streak started with a 17-14 win at Tampa Bay on Oct. 4 against Jalon Daniels. Next came a 31-7 win over Chicago and quarterbacks Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent on Oct. 11, when Green Bay forced five turnovers and Xavier McKinney picked off two passes. On Sunday, Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens came to town.

The Washington Commanders (1-3-1) wrap up Week 6 on Monday night against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers (5-0). If the Commanders lose to the 49ers—and they are 7.5-point underdogs—it would be the second straight weekend that all four NFC East teams went winless.
On Sunday, here's what happened around the NFC East:
New York Giants: lost 34-27 to the New Orleans Saints
Philadelphia Eagles: lost 25-14 to the Carolina Panthers
Dallas Cowboys: lost 23-13 to the Green Bay Packers

In a way, the Dallas Cowboys' loss to the Buccaneers on Thursday night at home was not quite as bad a loss as what we saw on Sunday in Green Bay, at least from coach brian Schottenheimer's perspective. Sounds absurd, sure, given that the Cowboys lost to a previously winless team that was starting an undrafted rookie, Jalon Daniels, on their home field last week. But there was a chance that could be viewed as a one-off. There was a chance that could be rock bottom, and that the Cowboys could rebuild this season from there. Starting against the Packers at Lambeau Field.
Instead, what we saw on Sunday was confirmation of the worst fears that lingered from the Buccaneers game: That this team and its NFL Super Bowl aspirations had been broken in that loss, that something snapped and might not be able to be repaired. Because, though the defense played better on Sunday–after the first half, at least–the offense appeared beyond repair, a steep three-week drop that has seen Dak Prescott throw four interceptions in two games, after having thrown just four in nine games before that.
Around Cowboys media and fans, the finger of blame is increasingly turning to Schottenheimer, and calls for the team to take action are mounting.
From Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram: "Believe it or not, this roster is good enough. Is it elite? No. Is it great? No. But it should be good enough, and it's nowhere close to even average. The Cowboys are on a train to nowhere, and the blame falls on the coaches leading it."

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson had three receptions (on eight targets) for 64 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.
SOURCE: USA TODAY
Why It Matters: Watson entered Week 6 second in the NFL in touchdown receptions with six. He had a seventh one in his hands on Sunday night but failed to haul it in, ultimately finishing with his second-worst showing of 2026. While it was a disappointing effort from Watson, the potency of Green Bay's passing attack is legit, as is Jordan Love's willingness to push the ball downfield. The duo of Watson and Matthew Golden is starting to gain traction as a dangerous one-two combination, and the speedy Watson has established himself as one of the NFL's premier deep threats. He's a low-end WR1 that belongs in your weekly lineup.

Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love completed 23 of his 41 pass attempts for 276 yards, one touchdown, and one interception versus the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. Love also had 12 yards and a touchdown on four carries.
SOURCE: USA TODAY
Why It Matters: It's almost impossible to overstate how much Green Bay's receivers undercut Love's output on Sunday night. Matthew Golden dropped three passes, including two touchdowns, and Christian Watson dropped another sure touchdown as well in a win over the Cowboys. Despite that, Love still threw for almost 300 yards and accounted for two touchdowns while navigating porous blocking from his offensive line. The Packers' inability to run the ball has put the onus on Love to move the offense, and that has helped the Utah State product develop into arguably the NFL's most aggressive downfield passer. It seems to work out more often than not, and Love has a high-end end matchup in Week 7 against Detroit. Love is a strong QB2 that's playable as a QB1 in plus matchups.

Packers' Jordan Love highlights what offense needs to reach its full potential appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Green Bay Packers have had some ups and downs this season. More recently, it's been more ups than downs. Jordan Love and the Packers picked up a big win on Sunday Night Football over the Dallas Cowboys. However, even this win wasn't without some pain points.
The Packers offense has been under some real scrutiny this season. Green Bay has had some big moments offensively. In other times, though, they've looked either sluggish at best or straight bad at worst. After Sunday's win, Love spoke about what needs to happen for this offense to find consistent success.
"I still think there's so much more out there for us as an offense, and once we get that run game really going and solidified, it'll help a lot of areas," the Green Bay signal-caller said, via Packer Dispatch writer Zach Jacobson.

Nate Tice & Hayden Winks dive into their instant takeaways from Week 6 of NFL action. The show kicks off with reactions from the Green Bay Packers getting a win against a Dallas Cowboys offense that could not get rolling on Sunday Night.
This week's Pick 6 begins with a Philadelphia Eagles team that seems to be in deep trouble, losing their fourth straight, this time against a surging Carolina Panthers offense. The guys jump to the preseason Super Bowl favorite Los Angeles Rams losing another division game to the Arizona Cardinals. Is it time to panic in Los Angeles? Next, Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers pull off a comeback victory against undrafted rookie QB Jalon Daniels and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Nate & Hayden then discuss their reactions to the Houston Texans beating the Jacksonville Jaguars across the pond in London. Then, they take a look at the New Orleans Saints scoring 34 unanswered points against the New York Giants. Is there a QB competition brewing between Jameis Winston and J.J. McCarthy, who saw his first action in a Giants uniform on Sunday? To close out Pick 6, the guys break down Caleb Williams' return for the Chicago Bears in their triumph over the Atlanta Falcons.
Lastly, Nate & Hayden hit on some Extra Credit, including reactions to the Tennessee ******* ans getting their first win of the season against the struggling Indianapolis Colts, an exciting shootout between the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders, and the Cleveland Browns climbing the mountain to lead the AFC North with their win against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Dallas Cowboys dropped a 23-13 road game to the Green Bay Packers which led to coach Brian Schottenheimer talking about what is "killing" his team afterward. Cameras showed Dak Prescott's team walking to the locker room in stunned silence after their dud on prime time TV.
Afterward, Prescott spoke candidly about the defense's performance in a game that wasn't what fans hoped it would be at Lambeau Field, in comments to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News.
"I mean defense to me played a good enough game for us to go out there and win this and we just didn't hold our own on offense," Prescott, who threw two interceptions, said.
