Courtiers are trying to orchestrate a truce between Prince William and Prince Harry in the hopes of getting the estranged brothers together to talk about doing a tribute to Princess Diana for the 30th anniversary of her death next year, a source tells Star.
"Harry is all for it, but William's refused," spills the source.
The siblings' relationship has been strained since Harry, 42, and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior working members of the royal family in 2020 and has only deteriorated after their 2021 tell-all interview and Harry's 2023 memoir, Spare.
Even the Sussexes' recent return to the U.K. with their two young children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, hasn't eased tensions between the brothers.
"He's acting like they don't even exist," the source reveals. "Harry is genuinely shocked that there's not even been a shred of forgiveness on William's part."

CNN correspondent Donie O'Sullivan delivered a near-perfect demonstration Thursday of what happens when a troll arrives hungry for a viral hit only to discover his intended victim seems to be bemused by the shtick, leaving him performing the confrontation largely by himself.
MAGA provocateur Alex Stein approached O'Sullivan as the CNN reporter was setting up a camera at President Donald Trump's GOP midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, already filming and apparently ready for confrontation.

Britney Spears "felt like a robot" at the height of her fame.
Returning to Instagram on Thursday, the Princess of Pop posted two videos showing her dancing in underwear.
In the accompanying captions, Britney offered insight into her experiences as a young artist and the pain she endured when she was placed under a conservatorship in 2008. The controversial arrangement lasted until November 2021.
"I actually miss the way I respected people so much that there was a genuine mystery of acute oneness when we were together, which was sacred," she began. "I feel like, still to this day, people don't realize the real damage that was done to my heart and soul in the conservatorship."
Britney went on to recall how she felt like "someone different" when performing.
However, her perspective on the entertainment industry shifted after she had her children. The Toxic hitmaker shares sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
