Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Missouri fans and fans across the country.
It's game-week for the 20th ranked Missouri Tigers — who host Sun Belt opponent Troy in the third game of the regular season — looking to improve to 3-0.
It is also Mizzou's final non-conference game of the season before the nine-game SEC slate. Saturday night's kick-off has been announced as the 22nd straight sellout as Missouri will be celebrating the 100th year anniversary of Memorial Stadium.
Eli Drinkwitz's team will be wearing throwback uniforms in honor of the 100 years.
Nathan Hurst will break down the Top 10 games of all-time played at Mizzou's Memorial Stadium. As for Saturday night's game against Troy — how are we liking these bad boys that the Tigers will wear?

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs built up a dominant 49-0 lead in their 70-20 win over the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. However, Georgia allowed the game to get a bit sloppy at times and allowed Western Kentucky to score three touchdowns including two in the second half.
Following the win, Georgia coach Kirby Smart emphasized that Georgia needed to play better in the second half. Smart even made it clear that the Bulldogs may not wear all-white uniforms again.
"I don't know," Smart said on if Georgia will bring back the all-white uniforms. "Time will tell. If we play like we did in the second half, ******* no."
Of course, Georgia played a ton of backups throughout the game with most starters, like quarterback Gunner Stockton, sitting out the entire second half with the game clearly out of reach. Coach Smart still holds Georgia's backups to the same standard of excellence as he does for the starters.
"If you don't get off the field on third down six consecutive times, you're not ready to play for Georgia's defense," Smart said in a postgame interview. "If you can't possess the ball on offense, then you can't play.

In a recent appearance on the Rich Eisen Show, former All-Pro and current Thursday Night Football **** yst Andrew Whitworth said the Denver Broncos are on an upward trajectory heading into 2026
Whitworth acknowledged what could have been in the 2025 Super Bowl, while looking forward to Denver's 2026 season, especially against the Seattle Seahawks, a game which Whitworth will attend as part of the TNF crew.
"That's another one," Whitworth said of the Broncos-Seahawks matchup in Week 6. "I still think that's a game that could have been last year's Super Bowl, but it also could be this year's. Both those teams have the potential to be there again."
The big game against Seattle will be a pivotal one for the Broncos; it is the final game of a brutal six-game opening stretch; however, it will be potentially the best-looking game of the season, as both squads will wear their beautiful throwback uniforms.
Whitworth complimented the Broncos for their moves in the 2026 offseason, showing they can be contenders once again.

As Oak Grove football defensive lineman Deven Robertson celebrated a sack late in the second quarter against Hattiesburg, his crimson-colored, Oklahoma Sooner-branded gloves provided a pop of color that was a contrast to Oak Grove's all black uniforms.
The Oklahoma commit and the rest of the Warriors' defense were dominant in Oak Grove's 36-20 win over Hattiesburg on Sept. 12.
"We've got a good defense," Oak Grove coach Drew Causey said. "We've got guys over there that are really, really good."
The Warriors (2-1) held Hattiesburg (1-2) to 287 yards of total offense and forced two fumbles, one of which they returned 35 yards for a touchdown.
"The defense came and we played as a group," Robertson said. "We weren't selfish, we all came and played as one and played with effort."

Boston College linebacker Bodie Kahoun suffered a frightening injury during the first half of the Eagles' game against Rutgers on Friday night.
Kahoun was injured while helping make a tackle and appeared to absorb contact to the head and upper body as another Boston College defender arrived to ***** ist on the play. He remained down on the field for several minutes while members of Boston College's medical staff attended to him.
The game was temporarily halted as Kahoun received treatment. He was eventually stretchered into an ambulance that had driven onto the field. ESPN's broadcast showed him giving a thumbs-up as he was loaded into the ambulance.

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs are debuting all-white uniforms against the Western Ketnucky Hilltoppers. Georgia will wear white pants, white jerseys and white helmets for the first time in school history.
Georgia has worn alternate uniforms four times during the coach Kirby Smart era. The Dawgs are 4-0. Georgia still traditionally wears a white or red jersey along with silver britches and a red helmet.
The Bulldogs wore black jerseys in a 2016 home win (35-21) over Louisiana Lafayette. In Georgia's last road trip to Arkansas, back in 2020 quarterback Stetson Bennett saved the day after a slow start. Georgia wore red pants and slightly altered white uniforms in the 37-10 win.
In 2020, Georgia also wore black jerseys at home in the Bulldogs' 31-24 win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs in a game where JT Daniels passed for over 400 yards. Georgia wore the same black jerseys, which have a red Dawg collar, in Georgia's last-second 24-21 Peach Bowl win over Cincinnati.
Of course, Georgia's most memorable alternate jersey game is when the Bulldogs beat Auburn at home in 2007 with black jerseys. Georgia will look to move to 5-0 in alternate uniforms under coach Smart on Saturday, Sept. 12 against Western Kentucky at 12:45 p.m. ET.

Boston College will host Rutgers for their annual Red Bandana game on Friday night in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. In a tradition that honors Welles Crowther, a Boston College graduate and volunteer firefighter who died saving lives in the South Tower on 9/11.
When the Eagles played the UCF Knights on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, fans wore red bandana stickers on their helmets. Three years later Boston College created the "red bandana game." Tonight they will wear special red bandana-themed uniforms and helmets for the 13th consecutive year.

Ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season, the Warriors have revealed some new threads. Golden State is one of eight teams to receive new "Specter" jerseys from Nike. The Warriors' edition is prominently black with blue stripes on the right side and yellow number outlines. The seven other teams to receive "Specter" jerseys are the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings. The "Specter" jersey was meant as a way to celebrate some of the league's oldest NBA teams.
Since the release, fans have had mixed reviews on the new uniforms, but most overall comments have been negative. When the Warriors will debut these jerseys has not yet been revealed. In the meantime, Golden State will begin a six-game preseason run October 4 against the Los Angeles Clippers in Hawaii.

The University of Cincinnati send a strongly-worded letter to former guard **** le James, the son of former NFL star running back Edgerrin James, telling him to stop using the school's name and likeness.

James responded, "I have my own merch I made. I don't need y'all jerseys, and [expletive] Cincinnati for all I care."
The comment came just a few weeks after the Charlotte basketball program issued a roster update without the guard. Now his father, a Pro Football Hall of Fame running back, is adding unfortunate context to the situation.

A source claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have one major priority as they begin a new chapter in the UK. GYIRONG, China, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Chinese officials said on Sunday that workers had recovered 12 more bodies as the search continued for hundreds still missing after a tsunami-like mudslide destroyed China's main border crossing with Nepal.
Rescue workers in bright ‌orange uniforms used excavators, shovels and ground-penetrating radar to scour the now-buried site of the Gyirong border crossing.
The border crossing became a grisly ‌emblem of the devastation that followed the collapse of a glacier on the Nepal side of the border on August 26 after videos showed a black wave of water, mud and debris sweeping over it with little warning.
Reuters and other news agencies visited the land port, which sits in a narrow river gorge, in the first trip organised for international media by China's foreign ministry on Sunday.

Since the turn of the century, the Oregon Ducks have continued to grow into a powerhouse on the gridiron. Recruiting from coast to coast and becoming one of the winningest programs in the country since 2000, the Ducks have had some of the best players in college football history walk through Eugene.
While the Ducks are still seeking their first national championship, their ability to attract elite talent and turn them into NFL-ready stars has kept the program on the map as more than a team with flashy uniforms and the Nike checkmark. Oregon's lone Heisman Trophy recipient, Marcus Mariota, is still revered for his play in Eugene and is widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the modern era of college football.
With the 2026 season just getting underway, USA TODAY compiled a list of players to represent the All-2000s team. Mariota didn't make the cut, but former Oregon offensive tackle Penei Sewell took his spot among elite company on the second team.
Sewell shared the second-team honors at offensive tackle with Alex Leatherwood, a former first-round pick and standout at Alabama from 2017 to 2020. First-team selections went to Wisconsin's Joe Thomas (2003-2006) and Miami's Bryant McKinnie (1999-2001).
Sewell spent two seasons as the blindside tackle for Justin Herbert. From the moment he stepped on campus, Sewell was a starter for the Ducks and didn't disappoint. Despite missing six games with an injury as a freshman, he quickly solidified himself as one of the nation's elite protectors, playing penalty-free in his first collegiate season.

STILLWATER — On Sept. 19 last year, Oklahoma State players trudged off the Boone Pickens Stadium field after the final whistle blast. Tulsa players galloped.
Nine white Golden Hurricane uniforms crowded around to force OSU receiver Gavin Freeman out of bounds at the 10-yard line. OSU's desperation hook-and-ladder never had a realistic chance to tie the game. Freeman slapped his gloves together once, unleashing some frustration felt by everyone in the stadium wearing black and orange.
Tulsa beat OSU 19-12. It snapped OSU's 10-game winning streak in the Turnpike Classic rivalry and was the first time Tulsa beat OSU in Stillwater since 1951.
In the OSU locker room postgame, emotions were mixed.
"It was a lot of anger and stuff, people trying to be calm and stuff, telling us: 'We good, we good' and stuff like that." defensive end Jaleel Johnson said Tuesday. "I didn't think so, I mean, that was bad."

The North Carolina Tar Heels will enjoy a week off after their impressive Week 0 win over TCU in Ireland last weekend. With the bye week due to the travel, UNC has an extra week off as they get ready to host East Tennessee State on September 12th.
It's a game that UNC will be a heavy favorite in as they look to start the year 2-0.
While we are still about 10 days from that game, North Carolina's Director of Athletic Grounds & Turf Management revealed that it could be a throwback game for the program. Ryan Anderson took to X to show off North Carolina's new midfield logo, which is a throwback to the 80's era:

It's been a lengthy offseason, but at long last, football is just around the corner for the Oregon Ducks. Not only does that mean that fans can go back to watching and breaking down play on the field instead of theorizing about what's to come, but it also means that one of our favorite weekly traditions in Eugene has returned as well.
Uniform releases.
On Wednesday evening, the Ducks unveiled their Week 1 jerseys for their game against the Boise State Broncos. For the season-opener, Oregon will be rocking a green and yellow look, with yellow helmets, a green top, and yellow pants.
This look is similar to what we saw last year against the James Madison Dukes in the College Football Playoff, but with a yellow helmet instead of green.
While the uniform combo for this first game against Boise State is relatively tame compared to Oregon's standards, there is an early expectation that a couple of games will get some special jersey treatment in Eugene. Earlier this year, at Big Ten Media Days, tight end Jamari Johnson dropped a hint that the uniforms in Week 4 against the USC Trojans, and the final week of the year against the Washington Huskies, are going to be special.

HENDERSON, Nev. — According to Little League Baseball, there are more than two million boys and girls from 80 countries playing Little League.

The odds of making it to the championship game of the Little League World Series is approximately 1 percent.

So here's to the 1 percenters, the Paseo Verde Little League of Henderson, Nevada, which defied the odds and made it to the final game of the season in South Williamsport, Pa. Sunday afternoon.

That Paseo Verde was defeated 11-2 by Curaçao shouldn't diminish the accomplishments of the boys and girl that started this improbable journey almost a month ago when it won its District tournament. It would win the Nevada state tourney, then go on and win the Mountain Regional, which is why you saw them in those gold and red uniforms with the lower case "M' on their caps at Lamade Stadium.

And this team was undefeated throughout and even had a 2-0 lead over Curaçao, an island nation of just over 185,000 that loves its baseball. You can see it in the exuberance displayed by its Little Leaguers on the field. They love to play the game as much as our kids from Henderson.

And if you were watching, how could you not marvel at the skill of these teams? So well schooled in fundamentals. So impressive in their mechanics and their IQ of the game. It's nice that elements like laying down a bunt, hitting a cutoff person and understanding the strike zone is not beyond the grasp of an 11- or 12-year-old. Paseo Verde turned six double plays in the LLWS.

Of course, it takes a village, as they say, to pull something like this off. In Little League, everyone is a volunteer. If you've had a kid play, you know the drill. Dads help prepare the fields before coaching. Moms man the snack shack and sit behind home plate keeping score. Grandparents, aunts and uncles keep an eye on the younger brothers and sisters. It's all about the kids, which is as it should be.

Every year, we read stories in the paper or watch a segment on local television of how the parents of the teams in Williamsport have been away from home for weeks, how they've had to take time off from work, how someone has to keep an eye on the house, arrange to get the mail, take care of the family pet. And it's the truth. There's a great deal of sacrifice involved to be part of a kid's summer baseball experience.

Same for the managers and coaches. They have families too and for them, it's no different than their players. Which is why when it ends, it's pretty painful emotionally speaking because you've invested so much in order to try and take it the distance.

But we know kids are resilient. As they return home to Southern Nevada, they'll do so as celebrities, be it at their school, their church or their neighborhood. There's probably going to be a parade for the Paseo Verde team, the United States Little League champions, and it figures to be a fun time. They'll carry memories of this amazing experience that will last a lifetime and 10, 20,

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have worn their "Bratoberfest" alternate jerseys since 2021, but rehabbing Milwaukee Brewers reliever Abner Uribe may have sent the look into the mainstream.
The best part? You can actually get your hands on the game-worn apparel.

Uribe and JoJo Romero both took the hill for Class High A Wisconsin as part of their rehab work, retiring all six men they faced and striking out five of them, though the Rattlers lost a seven-run lead to the Cubs in a 10-7 setback.
The uniforms, made to look like traditional German lederhosen with suspenders and a plaid shirt, serve as part of the team's "Bratoberfest" celebration, honoring Wisconsin's German heritage. UConn football made waves on Wednesday by revealing a new red alternate jersey. It'll be the first time any team at the school has ever worn a uniform with red as the primary color.
Reviews have been mixed online. Some people love them — the players certainly reacted positively in a video posted by the team — but those who don't have been vocal in their displeasure. That same split occurred among The UConn Blog's hierarchy with Dan Madigan supporting the new look and Daniel Connolly among the opposition.
Let's embrace debate.
Connolly: I'd rather have a team go bold and fail when designing a jersey or uniform than do something that's safe but boring. UConn absolutely went bold with red jerseys, which I can respect. I'm just not sure I like them. As someone who's been clamoring for an alternate jersey for years, I was thrilled when the team teased such on social media earlier in the week. But when I saw the reveal, I was immediately disappointed. It just doesn't look like a UConn jersey. I'm willing to reserve judgement until I see them on the field in game action, but I'm giving them a thumbs-down for now.
Madigan: When UConn teased this reveal earlier in the week, I told our blog chat with Dan and Aman Kidwai that I would love to see a red jersey, but I was convinced that this would be the light/powder blue uniform they teased last April Fool's Day. I was pretty surprised to actually see the red jersey on socials on Wednesday, but I like the look. This uniform template of the past few years is quite literally as boring as it gets — there's no piping, striping or accents anywhere — so it's a lot of red and it's certainly bold. It's definitely not a subtle way to introduce the color, but I think it will look much better in real life on the Rentschler Field grass. I still wish there was more going on with these UConn uniforms overall, but I am all for this red look, and I think it will look great if they ever pair it with navy helmets and navy pants.
