The 10-to-12-year-old all-stars from Camels Hump are searching for a berth into the championship game of the Little League Baseball New England Region Tournament.
The Vermont state champions face off against Bridgewater, Massachusetts, in the winner's bracket semifinals at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 10. The winner moves into the New England final scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13. The loser will play an elimination semifinal game on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
Camels Hump opened regional play with a 1-0 victory over New Hampshire state champion Portsmouth behind Mickey Brown's two-hit shutout. Camels Hump is playing in its first New England regional.
Camels Hump seeks to become the first Vermont team in 25 years to reach the regional championship game.
