Now that the Denver Broncos are reporting for training camp, fans will likely get a more inside looks at the team's new training facility. While some introductory pictures were released by the team in mid-July, the first interior video of the facility has been shared on Instagram by Kayla Jones, wife of Broncos defensive lineman D.J. Jones.
The video captured several never-before-seen areas of the new building. Some of the new areas shown include an in-house barbershop (complete with an orange and blue striped barber chair), a mini indoor field, shaded table seating on the roof of the building, and a revamped locker room ready for the team.

The $175 million facility, and all its bells and whistles, is a visible sign of the past two seasons of work. The facility was first announced in November 2023 and broke ground in late August 2024. The state-of-the-art campus was funded completely by the Walton-Penner ownership group, and is 30 percent bigger than their old headquarters building, according to the team's website.
The building also is a reminder of the Walton-Penner ownership group's commitment to making the team one of the best in the NFL, both on and off the field. The next big investment in the club will be the team's new stadium, on track to be built at the team's preferred site at Denver's historic Burnham Yard. While finalized plans have not been announced quite yet, the team is committing significant time and energy into the beautification of the area, and community inclusivity. You can see all the updates on the team's stadium website. The biggest remaining hurdle will be the relocation of Denver Water, which is located at Burnham Yard.

Just a few weeks ago, only a handful of members of the U.S. women's hockey team were expected to attend the ESPYs, the annual awards show honoring the year's biggest athletes, teams and moments in sports.
By Wednesday afternoon, many more of the reigning Olympic gold medalists were swapping jerseys for gowns inside a midtown Manhattan penthouse. Champagne was flowing. Hair and makeup artists buzzed around the room. Defenseman Mariah Keopple, who also works as a stylist, helped teammates put the finishing touches on their looks before they headed to the awards show, airing live Wednesday night from the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City.
It wasn't exactly the typical pregame routine for one of the world's best hockey teams. And none of it would have happened without an unlikely benefactor: Flavor Flav.

Unlike other blue bloods, Michigan doesn't often reel in high five-star prospects. For every Rashan Gary and Bryce Underwood, there are classes without a single five-star in it that are developed into powerhouse football teams. The class of 2026 is the former, as Michigan brought in two five-stars this offseason in Savion Hiter and Carter Meadows. Meadows has the makings of a star, but will need some time to get ready for Big Ten action.
Meadows hails from Gonzaga High School in Washington D.C., one of the more well-known powerhouse high school programs. In fact, he was high school teammates with fellow Wolverine Kainoa Winston, and Evan Link also attended Gonzaga. In high school, Meadows was 6-foot-6 and 225 pounds. He possesses a frame that NFL scouts tend to drool over out of an edge rusher.
Naturally, a high schooler with elite athleticism and an NFL frame coming from a national powerhouse of a school was bound to get attention nationally. Meadows received offers from just about every major program, with 247Sports listing 29 offers. Carter made four official visits — South Carolina, Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan, in that order.
In typical fashion, Carter's recruitment came down to Michigan and Ohio State. While certain sites may try to convince you the Buckeyes weren't going all in on Meadows, that would be incorrect. Meadows committed to Michigan, as Lou Esposito and company were able to close on Meadows, and Kyle Whittingham and the new staff were able to retain him.
As for his on the field skills, Meadows is about as good as they come for his age. He is an explosive edge with incredible bend and football IQ. He plays smart and is an avid run-defender. Meadows is also advanced for his age when it comes to pass-rushing moves.

Juventus have played the first 180 minutes of a very busy summer friendly schedule. (If only the summer mercato was as busy as the team will be over the next couple of weeks, right? I'll let you decide that for yourself.) And because of a handful of players having staggered returns from their respective post-World Cup breaks and now a few other players having to deal with preseason ailments, Juve manager Luciano Spalletti has had to fill the void with the limited number of in-house options he has.

It still needs Senate approval, but Washington's appetite for military spending is clear, and the US isn't alone. The EU, **** an and Middle Eastern nations have all been ramping up defense budgets, too, creating real sector opportunities for portfolios. Capturing them, however, takes more than pure defense-category investing: It requires knowing where the money actually flows.
"The defense ecosystem is actually much larger than most investors think," said Chris Grisanti, chief market strategist at MAI Capital Management. "It can include industrial companies like autos — GM has a big defense business — and of course technology and communications companies."

The House earlier this week passed legislation that would set new restrictions on stock trading by members of Congress, their spouses and dependent children. While markets data shows that the global market for dining out is projected to grow from $1.9 trillion now to more than $3 trillion by 2030, many individual chains that were popular in another era are struggling to survive amid changing consumer trends.
U.S. chains like Smokey Bones, Peet's Coffee, and Joe's Crab Shack have collectively closed dozens of locations this year. Meanwhile, over in the United Kingdom, Leon and The Real Greek both nearly halved their store locations in 2026 despite once going through a period of rapid expansion that made them well-recognized chains in the country's major cities.
With the first location opening in the Greater London borough of Enfield in 1974, the restaurant chain Beefeater has, over several generations, earned a reputation for being a family-friendly steakhouse chain serving grilled steak cuts, burgers, and fish and chips at more accessible prices.
At its peak, the chain had approximately 140 standalone and Brewers Fayre brewery-attached locations in the United Kingdom and Ireland. But amid soaring operating costs the hotel and dining company Whitbread confirmed plans to shutter all remaining 106 restaurants by September.
Earlier in the year, Whitbread announced a restructuring plan that aims to bring down annual costs down costs by £250 million ($333 million USD).

Job seekers are exhausted. Tired of shooting résumés into the void and getting ghosted, many have started paying for AI tools that blast their application out to every open role they can find. But according to Greenhouse CEO Daniel Chait, employers are just as miserable—and he's got a name for the hiring nightmare: an AI doom loop.
"This is the first time when really both sides have been unhappy," Chait told Fortune. "The market just isn't working for either side."
Job seekers, he says, are "piling more and more job applications into the black hole and not getting any progress." It doesn't matter how many they send—they "just don't get anywhere."
So they've turned to AI tools that make the process less painful. "You can go search on Google, and there are tools that advertise, use AI to automatically apply to every Greenhouse job," the jobs board boss said. "Someone goes and buys that tool, it's like 20 bucks, and now they can just shoot out job applications willy-nilly to as many jobs as they want."
On the other side of the inbox, recruiters are drowning. There are currently 175,000 live jobs on Greenhouse's platform—and on average, for every job ad posted, around 254 job seekers are applying, pushing applications per recruiter up by 412%.

President Donald Trump told a crowd in Michigan that the White House has ordered 250 Cadillac Escalades, the flagship sport utility vehicle in the luxury auto brand's lineup, for his presidential motorcade.
Trump revealed the purchase in a speech delivered at a General Motors testing facility in the Detroit suburb of Milford.

The CNN anchor sat down with Jon Stewart Monday to tape an interview for the Daily Show which will air at 11 p.m. ET Monday night. Status obtained an early transcript, and the Daily Show posted the interview on X. Collins told Stewart she was "not surprised" that Trump went after her.
"I've always felt this, regardless of who's the president, whether it's Joe Biden, Donald Trump — those are the two I've covered — it's really not about me, and I don't want it to be about my reaction," Collins said. "And so I think if you let it become about that, then it becomes a back-and-forth between the two of us."

New vehicle sales in the Philippines declined by a further 8% to 37,231 units in June 2026, down from 40,483 units in the same month last year, according to member wholesale data released jointly by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers ***** ociation (TMA).
This was the sixth consecutive month of decline for the market, as economic growth in the country continued to slow. The latest government data show that GDP growth slowed to 2.8% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026, down from 3.7% in the second half of 2025 and 4.4% for the whole of last year. Higher fuel prices resulting from the conflict in the Middle East have added to existing economic pressures, including the fallout from last year's infrastructure corruption scandal.
Despite a sharp drop in household consumption in the first quarter, the central bank has raised its benchmark interest rate by 50 basis points to 4.75% since April, reversing a two-year easing cycle from a peak of 6.5% in mid-2024, to help rein in surging inflation resulting from the recent fuel price hikes.
In the first six months of 2026, the Philippine vehicle market was down by over 11% to 204,557 units, from 230,912 units in the same period last year, with sales of passenger cars and commercial vehicles both falling by over 11% to 40,503 units and 164,054 units, respectively. Sales of electrified vehicles, including battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and hybrids, surged by 132% to 31,351 units in this period, however, as consumers prioritized fuel-efficient vehicles amid rising fuel prices.
The overall market leader, Toyota, reported a 9% sales decline to 100,909 units year-to-date, followed by Mitsubishi with 36,321 units (-17%); Suzuki 9,262 units (-14%); Ford 7,435 units (-32%); and Nissan 6,921 units (-42%).

First of all for him because he needs to enjoy football and second because I know how good he is. Phil in a good shape and mood, he can win games."

A big variable over the 2026-27 season for Manchester City is which Phil Foden they will get. Will the 2023-24 Player of the Season Foden return? The hope is that after a summer of rest this is what occurs. Or will Foden continue to be the inconsistent player he has been over the past two seasons? Foden is too good a player to not be a key player for the FA Cup and Carabao Cup holders. Hopefully the saying that class is permanent and form is temporary rings true for Foden this season.

July 23 (Reuters) - Oil prices spiked to $100 a barrel on Thursday for the first time since May, while major tech giants knocked U.S. stocks lower and Europe's borrowing costs surged to long-term highs in an unsettling day across markets.
Brent crude settled up 7% at $100.69 a barrel, following attacks on ‌tankers in the Red Sea that choked off a second crucial Middle East artery for global oil supplies, alongside Iran's near-closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis struck ‌two Saudi oil tankers as part of a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia, sending prices higher as the brief cessation of hostilities between Iran and the U.S. receded into the rear-view mirror.
The U.S. military carried out a new round of strikes on Iran, marking a 12th successive night of American attacks, and prompting further Iranian retaliation. The White House has threatened additional attacks on Iranian infrastructure and key locations of its nuclear facilities.
