Houston's new look is built around Liberty White, H-Town Blue and Battle Red, with details pulled directly from the city. The H-Town Blue numbers use a stenciled font inspired by Houston's famous "Be Someone" bridge, while the nameplate and striping draw from the blue-and-white street tiles found throughout the city. The Texans also introduce their first Liberty White helmet, complete with a chrome H-Town Blue facemask inspired by Houston's custom car culture.
The "HOUSTON/US" theme extends inside the collar, where "Houston" appears in Battle Red with "Us" highlighted in H-Town Blue, emphasizing the connection between the franchise and its city. Fans can purchase the new Rivalries merchandise beginning Tuesday, while the Texans will debut the uniform on the field in Week 11 against the AFC South rival Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, November 19.

When you think of College GameDay, you think of a festive, joyous atmosphere that celebrates college football and campuses around the country. But it wasn't always that way, especially if Lee Corso dared to pick the visiting team.
Before his retirement at the beginning of last season, Corso's mascot headgear pick was the climax of the program and one of the highlights of televised sports every week across the fall. Thankfully, ESPN has decided to retire the tradition along with him as it hasn't been picked up since. But the hype and anticipation for who he would pick and whether he would ride with the home team or dare to go against the grain was a huge deal.
And it was apparently too huge for some.
Longtime College GameDay ******* yst Kirk Herbstreit appeared on The Press Box podcast with Bryan Curtis at The Ringer and detailed a couple of scary incidents where fans were so upset over Corso's headgear picks that they actually threw projectiles at the set in the early years of the road show. Once it was a golf ball, and another time it was a full beer can. Herbstreit said that after the second occasion, the show put up a protective net behind the stage to ensure the safety of the on-air personalities.
"I remember two different occasions. We were at LSU doing an LSU-Alabama game and Corso picked Alabama. And he put on an elephant hat. This is before he did the helmets. And he had a massive Alabama red or crimson flag with an "A" on it and he's picking Alabama right in the heart of Baton Rouge. And here comes a golf ball flying from I don't know, 30 yards out, and it just happened to hit the flag that he was waving and it landed right on the desk," Herbstreit said.

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Sparks and Atlanta Dream experienced a blast from the recent past during their matchup at Crypto.com Arena on Thursday night.
During the third quarter of the lopsided contest, a spectator hurled a green ****** toy onto the court, sparking flashbacks to last season's spate of projectiles. Angel Reese pointed out the perpetrator right away from her seat on the bench, and he was apprehended by arena security.
The middle of the 2025 WNBA season was marred by several instances of green toys being thrown onto the court during play. The incidents started in late July at a Dream game and continued through the following week, including once at a Sparks game. The trend died out soon afterward and was thought to be linked to a particular memecoin.

Northridge and Goshen were the top two teams in the Northern Lakes Conference last year with the Raiders eventually prevailing for their third straight NLC **** le.

According to MockDraftable, Walker's measurements at the 2022 NFL Combine are in the 91st, 61st and 84th percentiles when it comes to height, weight and wingspan (nearly 80 inches), respectively, for the position. It's worth noting that MockDraftable's database goes back to 1999, when linebackers were heavier in the NFL, and 240-plus-pound second-level defenders are a rare breed in today's game.
That change is due to the rise of the passing game in the league, shifting the priority to athletic linebackers who can hold up in coverage. Despite what his size might suggest, the Georgia product is also an elite athlete for the position. He tested very well at the combine to earn a 9.63 out of 10 Relative Athletic Score, highlighted by a 4.52-second 40-yard dash (9.65 RAS), 6.89-second three-cone time (9.29) and 10-foot-2 broad jump (8.69).
For good measure, he also showed off plenty of strength during the pre-draft process by hitting 23 reps on the bench press.

The U.S. has expended more than 50,000 rockets, missiles and other rocket-propelled projectiles since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in 2022 through the war with Iran, according to data from the Pentagon.

The India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement gives Indian exporters duty-free access to most ‌British tariff lines, benefiting sectors such as textiles, leather, footwear, marine products, gems and jewellery, and processed foods.
Britain, meanwhile, gains greater access to one of the world's fastest-growing major economies through phased tariff cuts and quotas for sectors such as automobiles and silver, as well as openings in procurement, financial services, education, insurance and professional services.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a post on X that the trade pact and accompanying social security agreement would deepen economic ties and give "fresh momentum" to India's farmers, entrepreneurs ‌and small businesses.

WASHINGTON, July 7 (Reuters) - The U.S. Central Command said on Tuesday it completed a new round of ‌strikes on Iran and that it had struck over ‌80 targets during its latest attacks.
Along with unleashing a new wave of strikes against Iran, Washington had also revoked a license allowing the country to sell oil after three tankers were hit by projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz.
"U.S. forces struck Iranian air defense systems, command and control ‌networks, coastal radar sites, ⁠anti-ship missile capabilities, and more than 60 Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps small boats in and near the ⁠strait (of Hormuz) to degrade Iran's ability to continue attacking international commerce flowing through the international trade corridor," the U.S. military said in a statement.
