Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang just dropped an interesting update on the company's growth. He said he believes the chip giant can grow revenue by 70% next year, a forecast that would take annual sales from roughly $400 billion to about $680 billion.
At first look, that sounds almost too ambitious, but Huang argues that Nvidia is still at the center of the artificial intelligence buildout, and demand for its computing systems remains far from saturated.

Investors seeking exposure to artificial intelligence infrastructure must weigh the explosive growth of Astera Labs Inc (NASDAQ:ALAB) against the established scale and diverse portfolio of Marvell Technology Inc(NASDAQ:MRVL) to determine the better buy.
Both companies focus on the plumbing of the digital world, ensuring data moves quickly between processors and memory. While Astera Labs focuses on specialized connectivity for AI racks, Marvell offers a broader range of networking, storage, and custom compute solutions. This comparison explores which strategy offers more potential for long-term investors.
Astera Labs designs connectivity solutions that integrate various protocols to support rack-scale AI infrastructure, a high-growth niche among semiconductor stocks. The company serves major hyperscalers and equipment manufacturers who need to overcome data bottlenecks in massive data centers, though its revenue is highly concentrated. In 2025, one end customer -- Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) -- accounted for over 70% of revenue, which adds a significant layer of risk to the business model.
According to its latest annual report, filed for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2025, revenue reached close to $853 million, representing a significant jump of 115% compared with the prior fiscal year. This growth trajectory helped the company transition to a net income of just over $219 million after recording losses in the previous two years. The net margin for the latest year was close to 26%.
As of its December 2025 balance sheet, the debt-to-equity ratio was 0.0x, meaning the company carries no debt relative to its shareholder equity, while the so-called current ratio was 10.2x. Free cash flow for the period reached nearly $282 million. Note that stock-based compensation (SBC) represented roughly 50.1% of operating cash flow, which inflates reported cash generation since SBC is a non-cash expense added back in the cash flow statement.

Moerus Capital Management LLC, an investment management firm, recently released its "Worldwide Fund " second-quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. The fund navigated a highly bifurcated investment environment in the second quarter of 2026, as investor enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and technology drove a sharp rally in growth stocks while capital moved away from more traditional, value-oriented areas. The Fund's Institutional Class returned 0.14% in Q2, compared with 14.49% for the MSCI ACWI ex USA and 14.93% for the MSCI ACWI, while its first-half return stood at 5.37%, versus 13.69% and 11.25%, respectively, for the two benchmarks. The relative underperformance was primarily driven by the Fund's limited exposure to Information Technology as semiconductor and AI-related stocks surged, while its Energy holdings also gave back some earlier gains as oil prices declined; however, the Fund benefited from several energy-related investments during the first half. Looking ahead, Moerus views the extreme gap between expensive AI-focused areas and neglected parts of the market as an opportunity, maintaining its long-term deep-value approach of investing in unpopular businesses and ****** ets at significant discounts to intrinsic value and using market volatility to identify potentially attractive investments. In addition, please check the Fund's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Moerus Worldwide Fund highlighted stocks like Valaris Limited (NYSE:VAL). Valaris Limited is a U.S.-based provider of offshore drilling services. Moerus described Valaris as its largest individual contributor to performance in the first half of 2026. The one-month return of Valaris Limited (NYSE:VAL) was 1.62% while its shares traded between $46.70 and $114.12 over the last 52 weeks. On September 7, 2026, Valaris Limited (NYSE:VAL) stock closed at approximately $86.74 per share, with a market capitalization of about $6.03 billion.
Moerus Worldwide Fund stated the following regarding Valaris Limited (NYSE:VAL) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"For example, consider Valaris Limited (NYSE:VAL), the largest individual contributor to performance in H1. Shares of this U.S.-based provider of offshore drilling services surged in response to the February 9th announcement that the company had agreed to be acquired by Transocean in an all-stock transaction, which was priced at a roughly 32% premium to Valaris' stock price (based on the previous day's closing price of each stock). Valaris was added to the Fund in early 2025 following a slide in its share price, amid then-subdued oil prices and what we believed to be a temporary lull in offshore drilling activity caused by support infrastructure constraints (among other factors)."

It's no secret AI giants are racing against each other to build data centers across the country. With the AI boom skyrocketing in the 2020s, the U.S. has grown to nearly 5,000 data centers across all 50 states to date, with hyperscalers driving much of that expansion. But with that growth comes tax incentives that seem to scale further than market competition.
According to a report from JLL, a commercial real estate and investment management company, the global data center sector will likely expand at a 14% compound annual growth rate through 2030—and it notes "hyperscalers will remain a key driver of sector growth." And with that growth comes significant savings for the hyperscalers: nearly three-quarters of all states employ tax incentives for data center development—which include exemptions from sales and use tax, property tax and "financial transactions" tax.
The eligibility of these exemptions differ state by state, however. Some states like Texas require a substantial—at least $200 million—capital investment in the data center project, others such as Maine require a certain amount of square footage to be eligible, and a few states also require employment metrics to be met. Certain states, like New York, have no minimum investment requirement—and to sweeten the deal further, the tax exemptions are applicable for a wide range of data center expenditures.
Such measures are evident in the New York Department of Taxation and Finance structure, for example, in which data center tax incentive eligibility covers property, services, equipment and contracts. The incentives for the data centers themselves lie in the inherent replacement cycle required for upgrades and system life.
Capital expenditures like electrical systems, batteries and structures have usable lives in excess of 20 years—but other types of equipment such as cloud computing operations often have lives of as short as three years due to the high strain of AI computing. Based on the nature of equipment churn, the Tax Foundation found that a $5 billion data center could "easily spend more than a billion dollars a year on machinery and equipment," making sales taxation a "significant" consideration when choosing development.

Aug 27 (Reuters) - Nvidia has paused some deals in a new financing initiative that offered credit support to AI cloud companies in exchange for a share of revenue, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Some Nvidia employees expressed concerns to current and potential customers that the initiative could draw antitrust scrutiny, the report said.
The chip giant stepped back from the program last week, the Journal said, adding that the company could still revamp the initiative or fold it into another program.
"The new business model we introduced in July that opens up compute access to the fast-growing AI ecosystem is still in place and continues to evolve due to high demand," an Nvidia spokesperson said.
The reported move comes less than two months after Nvidia announced the program. The company introduced it as a new business model designed to support financing needs at AI cloud firms so that they can purchase its expensive chips.

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) CEO Elon Musk has repeatedly said that investors should think of his company as a robotics and automation company. And, to its credit, Tesla is making some progress in this direction with its Optimus humanoid robot and tests of its Robotaxi self-driving vehicle service in a handful of U.S. cities.
But betting on Tesla's transition to robotics is pretty risky. The company has been an EV company for years, and it's spending heavily as it remakes itself.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
Investors looking for two better robotics stocks that could successfully tap into the $2.5 trillion robotics market (by 2035) should consider owning Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) for the long haul. Here's why.
Nvidia's management believes physical AI -- including robotics -- will be one of the next big tech waves, and the company is preparing for the transition now.

The Federal Trade Commission announced Monday that it settled anti-trust litigation against Zillow and Redfin alleging that the companies colluded to limit competition in internet listing services for apartment rentals.
An FTC order requires Zillow and Redfin to reverse a 2025 agreement under which Zillow paid Redfin $100 million to close its ILS service, repost apartment listings only provided by Zillow, shift its customers to Zillow and stay out of the ILS market for up to nine years, the commission said.
"This settlement delivers better, quicker, more certain results for both renters and property management companies than we would have been able to achieve after prevailing at trial, including firm and enforceable commitments by Redfin to relaunch its rentals advertising business," Daniel Guarnera, director of the FTC's Bureau of Competition, said in a statement.
Under the FTC order, which will be active for 10 years, Zillow and Redfin agreed to remove restrictions on Redfin's ability to sell advertising services and display its own customers' listings, the commission said. Redfin will also be freed from any requirement to provide Zillow with nonpublic or competitively advantageous business information.

IDVO outpaces DIVO by 5 points year-to-date and 10 points over 12 months, while yielding 5.6% against DIVO's stripped-down mid-4s regular payout.
European banks, ****** anese financials, and Canadian institutions pay out a higher share of earnings, giving IDVO's basket a structural yield edge over US mega-caps.
In a taxable account, foreign withholding taxes and IDVO's 105% payout ratio cut into the yield advantage, making an IRA or Roth the cleanest rotation vehicle.

DIVO has grown into a $5.25 billion fund on the strength of that pitch. The issue in 2026 lies with the geography of DIVO's holdings. The same manager runs an international version of the exact same strategy, and this year the sister fund is quietly beating the flagship on both yield and total return.

Airbnb (NASDAQ:ABNB) shares surged 17.4% on August 7, closing at their highest price in more than four years. The move followed second-quarter 2026 results, published on August 6, that cleared expectations on nearly every line. Revenue climbed 17% year over year to $3.6 billion, gross booking value rose 16% to $27.2 billion, and adjusted EBITDA jumped 21% to $1.3 billion. It was the kind of quarter that finally shifted the narrative around a stock that had spent years going nowhere.
Nights and seats booked rose 10% to 148.3 million, an acceleration from the first quarter, while GAAP EPS jumped from $1.03 to $1.37, well past the $1.22 **** ysts expected. Management didn't just clear the bar; it raised it for the rest of the year, guiding to at least mid-teens full-year revenue growth and an adjusted EBITDA margin of at least 35.5%, with third quarter revenue seen between $4.69 billion and $4.77 billion. The growth also broadened out. Net origin nights booked accelerated not only in newer expansion markets but in long-established ones too, including the US, France, the UK, and Australia, a sign the improvement is coming from product work rather than a one-time boost.
That product work shows up everywhere. Airbnb has rebuilt itself as what it calls an AI native company, cutting the time from concept to shipped feature by as much as 60% and shipping nearly 80% more features than a year earlier. Its AI **** istant, now live in more than 50 languages, resolves roughly 45% of support issues without a human agent, up from the first quarter, and has helped push customer support cost per booking down about 16% year-over-year. The company is also stretching past home rentals, adding boutique and independent hotels across more than 20 destinations along with grocery delivery, car rentals, airport pickups, and resort passes. Hotel nights booked grew roughly three times as fast as the core home business, and about 35% of first-time hotel guests come back to book a home, suggesting the expansion feeds the core rather than competing with it. With more than 9 million active listings across 220 countries and roughly 2 billion guest arrivals since 2008, Airbnb also sits on a depth of host history that AI rivals have little of their own to draw from.
None of this comes cheap. Airbnb has long carried a valuation premium tied to growth expectations, and a stock that just hit a four-year high raises the bar for what needs to keep going right. Reported free cash flow also leans on a non-cash boost, since stock-based compensation made up roughly 34% of operating cash flow in fiscal 2025, meaning some of that cash generation isn't as clean as the headline number suggests. Regulation is a live risk too. New European Union rules taking effect in May 2026 require more transparency and data sharing from short-term rental platforms, adding compliance costs on top of restrictions cities like New York have already imposed.

Bitcoin (BTCUSD) was originally envisioned as a peer-to-peer electronic payment system. Later, advocates rebranded it as "digital gold" — a high-octane store of value designed to outpace inflation. This was the replacement for fiat currencies, a speculative dream, a mission-driven ******* et, and a way for the bottom of the global K-shaped economy to finally get on fair footing with the ultra-rich.
And then, this happened. Two years of ups and downs in the price of the iShares Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) that led to zero return. Bitcoin has been a wash.

In the lastest Bitcoin news today, Strategy (Nasdaq: MSTR), Michael Saylor's bitcoin treasury company, disclosed the sale of 1,638 BTC for approximately $105 million in an 8-K filing with the SEC.
Proceeds are expected to fund dividend payments on Strategy's preferred stock classes – including STRC, STRK, STRD, STRF, and STRE – and to pay for repurchases of STRC preferred shares.
This is not simply a Bitcoin sale. It is a capital structure management exercise, with Strategy running a parallel set of levers – BTC monetization and reserve allocation – to service a preferred-stock stack that carries rising cash obligations.
DISCOVER: Best Meme Coins to Buy in 2026
Strategy liquidated the 1,638 BTC at an average of roughly $64,000 per coin, a price that sits materially below the firm's all-in average acquisition cost of $75,419. Despite offloading a portion of its reserves and now sitting on a $10.9 billion paper loss, Strategy remains one of the largest corporate holders of Bitcoin globally, and the $105 million sale represents a small fraction of its total portfolio.

Last week was arguably the most important of the quarter for Wall Street. It marked the busiest week of earnings season and the latest Federal Reserve meeting on interest rates.
While earnings season has been a mixed bag, with investors punishing companies spending exorbitantly on their artificial intelligence data center build-outs, it was the Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) decision to leave interest rates unchanged that roiled the iconic Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI), benchmark S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC), and technology-powered Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^IXIC). The Dow's greater-than 1,100-point loss on July 29 was its worst single-day performance in over a year.

Although Warsh and the FOMC left the federal funds target rate unchanged at 3.5%-3.75%, the reaction in the bond market strongly suggests traders aren't convinced that the central bank will stand pat while interest rates remain elevated.
Unlike the new Fed chair's first meeting in June, the July FOMC meeting featured dissension within the ranks. While a majority of FOMC members (nine) voted in favor of leaving the federal funds target rate unchanged, three members dissented in favor of a quarter-point rate hike. It's the first time we've observed three dissents in the same policy direction since September 2016.

Crypto exchange BitMart said Sunday it will wind down its trading platform after nine years, sending its BMX token crashing and marking the second major crypto exchange to announce its closure in a week.
The exchange stopped taking new registrations, deposits, and orders from 01:30 UTC on Sunday. All spot and derivatives trading ends August 26, and the platform formally shuts on January 31, 2027.
The platform added that it "remains committed to managing this wind-down process in a responsible, orderly, and transparent manner." Withdrawals remain open, though BitMart warned that identity, device, sanctions, and source-of-funds checks could slow processing as users rush to exit.
BitMart blamed its "operating conditions, market environment, and future strategic direction," without saying which forced the decision. BMX, its exchange token, has crashed 81% over the past week to $0.057, cutting its market value to $19.6 million, according to CoinGecko data.
The platform lost $196 million to a hot-wallet breach in December 2021, one of the larger exchange hacks of that cycle, and covered customer losses.

White Falcon Capital Management, an investment fund manager, released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy can be downloaded here. The portfolio delivered 8.5% in Q2 2026, trailing the S&P 500 TR's (CAD) 17.3%, MSCI AC TR's (CAD) 16.4%, and the S&P TSX TR's 6.9% returns. The YTD's 1.8% return also trailed the indices. The firm is underwhelmed by the portfolio's performance in the quarter; however, the firm emphasizes long-term performance over short-term results. The firm aims to achieve positive absolute returns adjusted for risk over a complete market cycle. The underperformance is not due to the business fundamentals but the momentum-driven rallies in AI-linked stocks. The firm maintains patience and discipline in capital allocation, with valuation as crucial for long-term returns. In addition, please check the Strategy's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, White Falcon Capital Management highlighted Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD). Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) is a leading semiconductor company that designs and manufactures of AI accelerators, microprocessors, and graphics processing units. On July 22, 2026, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) closed at $552.33 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $900.63 billion. Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) posted a one-month return of 0.99%, while its shares gained 231.77% over the past 52 weeks.
White Falcon Capital Management stated the following regarding Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"Before we do that, let's talk about Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD). We purchased our initial position in AMD in October 2022 at about $80 per share when the stock was depressed due to weak outlook for its end markets. As is often the case with the market, when it does not like a stock or a sector it discounts it severely and we were able to purchase a cyclical stock (yes, semiconductor stocks were cyclical then!) with a net-cash balance sheet at a depressed multiple of depressed earnings. Our investment was underpinned by our confidence in AMD's management team, its engineering culture, and its ability to consistently deliver competitive products. It turns out that CPU's, AMD's core product, are needed for Agentic AI! The stock took off earlier this year and is currently trading at above $500 per share. From our perspective, the upside we captured was not due to any attempt to predict AI's trajectory, but simply the result of owning a quality company in a secularly growing sector, run by a strong management team at a sensible valuation.
As we've said before, high-quality businesses possess optionality that simply isn't available to mediocre businesses and even as these businesses trade at higher multiples, this optionality is often undervalued. Today, the world can't seem to buy enough semiconductor stocks, and AMD trades at a valuation that reflects a ve
