A newly surfaced text message attributed to Kimberly Guilfoyle appears to reveal what she really thinks of Bettina Trump. Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr. ended their engagement in 2024. Bettina, 39, is now his wife.
"I was having a [expletive] great time Saturday and we had a [expletive] amazing time when we got home Saturday night that's a nonsense," Guilfoyle allegedly texted Eric Deters, a former Kentucky congressional candidate, according to a Thursday, October 8 report in The Daily Beast. "That's his ex-wife's friend. It's all lies, but she's a cloud chasing horror that plays the story in the daily mail to get attention."
Deters confirmed to the outlet that the message was about Bettina.
The Daily Beast cautioned that the texts may contain typos. "Cloud chasing" could mean "clout chasing," and "plays the story" could mean "placed the story." The outlet also noted that "his ex-wife's friend" may refer to Vanessa Trump, Don Jr.'s former wife.
The message does not say which Daily Mail story Guilfoyle, 57, meant. But the publication reported on September 15, 2024, that Don Jr., 48, had been seen kissing Bettina at a brunch on August 17 of that same year. At that point, the public still believed he and Guilfoyle, now the U.S. ambassador to Greece, were engaged. The two have never publicly said when they actually split.

Earlier this year, it was reported by the Wall Street Journal that Kelce, 37, purchased a $5.35 million lakefront estate in Ohio, and now home renovations are underway.
The Daily Mail reported on Thursday, October 8, that a planning board meeting was held last month in the village of Bratenahl, just outside Cleveland, and a six-foot fence was unanimously approved despite some objections from those living close by, according to records.
A neighbor by the name of Katherine Bolton reportedly told the Architectural Review Board that Kelce's new purchase was a "tremendous blow" to "the peace and quiet in Bratenahl."
"There's a new owner, who is an absentee owner, who is not going to be here," she said, according to a record of the hearing obtained by the Mail. (The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and pop star, 36, weren't named.)

Neighbors of the $5.35 million Lake Erie estate are challenging proposed landscaping and fencing, raising concerns about a shared sewer line, wildlife, and how the changes could affect their longtime homes.

After a few runs of not getting it right, he seemed to be getting a little perturbed. I rifled off a couple more nervous ones until he stopped me and said, "No. You have to pretend that you're thoroughly enjoying the food. You know… Like an actor."
The room went silent as I shrunk to microscopic proportions. I didn't get the part obviously, but I had a good run back then! Booked some commercials for KFC, Pepsi, Nabob Coffee, and Tetley Tea, so… Ya. I haven't acted in a long time, but don't worry. I still take harsh criticisms on an almost daily basis! They share an enemy, though. They dislike social media's effects on children's mental health. Talarico, who did not respond to a request for comment, has endorsed a social media ban for kids under 16, while denouncing "predatory algorithms that divide us on an hourly, daily basis." As a legislator, he co-authored a bill targeting explicit deepfakes — digital imitations of individuals that are often made or manipulated by artificial intelligence and used for harassment on social media.
Paxton has been suing Big Tech, alleging the companies hook youth on their apps or don't restrict sensitive videos from being viewed by kids. "When elected to the U.S. Senate, he will continue his proven record of advancing policies that protect children online, strengthen parental rights, and hold Big Tech accountable when it breaks the law," Paxton campaign spokesperson Madison Cercy said in a statement to KFF Health News.

In July, Reps. Mike Lawler, a New York Republican, and Josh Gottheimer, a New Jersey Democrat, had a request for the Federal Election Commission: help make sure artificial intelligence chatbots do not feed voters false information about the 2026 midterm elections.
The lawmakers, writing to the FEC as well as the Justice and Homeland Security departments, urged the agencies to coordinate on "AI-driven threats to election integrity" and to press AI companies on their safeguards. Their concerns come as a quarter of likely voters use AI tools daily and at least 38% have gotten information about candidates or voting from AI search summaries, according to a September survey released by the American ****** ociation of Political Consultants Foundation.
But later that month, FEC Commissioner Shana Broussard, a Democrat, wrote back with a blunt answer: the agency couldn't help. With only two of its six commissioner seats filled, the FEC "cannot proceed," she wrote, according to documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act.
Broussard signed the letter as an individual commissioner. Without a quorum — the four members needed out of a total of six — she could not under federal law even speak for the agency.

As Christmas nears, the festive season has sparked a intriguing royal showdown. Meghan Markle's $148 advent calendar has been met with surprising competition from Buckingham Palace. The news comes days after Markle expanded her lifestyle brand, As Ever, with the limited-edition holiday countdown box inspired by her Montecito home.

As reported by the Daily Express, the calendar is available now from the Royal Collection Trust. It claims to "capture the magic of the festive season" across three royal residences, including Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Priced at only £12 ($15.87), the calendar offers 24 milk chocolates, the same count as Markle's luxury edition.
The artwork for the royal chocolate Advent calendar shows a richly adorned Christmas tree finished with a crown ornament, accompanied by a pair of Union Jacks. The illustration also features ceremonial guards who "stand watch at these iconic locations."
The Palace has also released an empty, fill-it-yourself version, which displays a winter illustration of its London residence on a white box. The design is fully customizable, allowing buyers to place their own treats behind each of the 24 doors.

Ede also shared why he believes the friendship faded. "She went her separate way," he claimed. "I think because I have friends in the media, obviously she's part of the royal family, she decided that wasn't right."
The PR expert insisted he has no hard feelings over how things unfolded. "There are people more useful to her than I was at the time," he said. "I did a lot of stuff with her, we were really good friends, we had a lovely relationship."
