Dafne Keen revealed she was offered cocaine at Hollywood wrap parties when she was just 11.
On the Nov. 3 episode of the "Inside of You" podcast, the "Logan" star, now 21, shared that she has never been "drunk enough" to have a hangover because of what she witnessed from the Los Angeles party scene as a child actress.
"I'm such a control freak with that because also I think as a child actor I witnessed so much of that as a child that I just had no interest," she said. "I was getting offered ******* e at wrap parties. Like, tiny. Like 11, 12, 13. So I saw what that was, so I was like, 'I don't really have any interest in that.'"
She emphasized that she was "saying no, fortunately."
As a teenager, the "His Dark Materials" actress said she would lie and tell people she wasn't sober so she wouldn't get peer pressured. "I'd be like, 'Nah, I'm good. I don't wanna drink. I already took something.' Dead sober. Like, the goodest goody-two-shoes ever."

The Washington Commanders appear to be making a change with their latest addition. Last week, the Commanders hired former NFL head coach and longtime defensive ****** istant Steve Wilks to a role on the coaching staff. According to head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Adam Peters, Wilks would spend part of the week in Ashburn working on game planning with the coaching staff and would not be involved in on-field player instruction.
For the first time since his hire became official, defensive coordinator Daronte Jones spoke about what Wilks brings to the Commanders.
"That was something that we had talked about back in training camp, but just for the value of experience that he has, we felt like we could use his resources and his expertise in some categories and experience," Jones said on Thursday.
Jones was asked whether Wilks' presence would let him, as a first-time NFL defensive coordinator, focus on other areas.
"Yeah, still working through how. It definitely does free me up in certain ways and just still manufacturing, working through how exactly we wanna disperse that, the workspace. So, we're still working through those a little bit."

Kim Kardashian is dealing with a health issue that "really hits home."
During the Thursday, October 29, episode of The Kardashians, the 46-year-old reality star revealed that she needs surgery to address "irregularities" in her esophagus following her esophagitis diagnosis.
"So I've seen a couple of doctors, and it's been heavy on my mind lately," Kim said in the confessional, according to People. "I haven't really told too many people about this, just because I think it's something that really hits home for me and I just don't really wanna go there."
Kim's father, Robert Kardashian, died of esophageal cancer in 2003 at the age of 59.
"With my dad having passed away from esophagus cancer, hopefully I can just take medication and this will go away," Kim continued.

Oct 3 - Women, some citing their own experiences of ******* ual ******* ault, are posting on social media that they are Jane Doe, in solidarity with the woman using the pseudonym in accusing fraternity members of raping her at Cornell University in 2024.
In a case that has drawn national attention, the woman is suing ‌seven fraternity members and the Ivy League school in Ithaca, New York, among others.
And although New York law allows "Jane Doe" anonymity for ******* ual ******* ault lawsuits, the Cornell student has become distressed ‌at attempts by some online skeptics of her account to discover her name and publish it, her lawyer said.
"I want us to support Jane Doe in coming to her own way of identifying herself in her own time," said Twanna LaTrice Hill, a writer and actor in Denver who has declared #IamJaneDoe on social media in recent days. "And if she never does, that's fine. But the flip side of that is that the people like me need to speak up if we are able to."

Ben Affleck once escaped a terrifying teenage mugging after recognizing the boys holding him at knifepoint. Years later, he learned one of those boys had killed someone and served 20 years in prison.
The actor recently revisited the encounter while reflecting on his childhood in Cambridge, Massachusetts. What began as a frightening walk home eventually became a memory that followed him into parenthood.
Affleck shared the story during an interview with Kerry Washington on her Street You Grew Up On podcast. He recalled walking home from high school at around 15 when two boys in hoods crossed the street toward him. Affleck initially considered running but decided against it. "They pass me, grab me, take a knife out: 'Gimme your money,'" he recalled. "And I was like, 'Oh!' I was scared."
The situation changed when Affleck recognized the teenagers from playing baseball. The boys also recognized him, turning the encounter from a mugging into a strange neighborhood exchange. "So I was like, 'I guess I'm off the hook?'" he remembered. Affleck later discovered that one of the boys had taken a much darker path. "That kid who robbed me ended up three or four years later killing somebody with a knife and going to prison for 20 years," he said.
He also admitted that he never told his mother about the incident. Affleck said he avoided worrying her and now regretted keeping difficult experiences to himself. "I didn't wanna worry her. I didn't wanna scare her," he explained. That silence became especially meaningful after Affleck became a father. "You guys know you can tell me anything. Anything! I'm so cool with anything you have to say," he recalled telling his children.

Last week, authorities arrested Daejon Love on federal charges for allegedly defrauding over a dozen women out of 1.6 million dollars. Love posed as a San Francisco 49er on social media and claimed to be an undrafted wide receiver for the team.
Several videos of Love pretending to live an NFL lifestyle have come to light as the investigation continues; as serious as the implications are, media outlets such as the Speakeasy talk show have weighed in.

PFL lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov hasn't entered the UFC yet, but he's already talking trash about the quality of opposition he may face when he gets there.
Nurmagomedov fought the last fight on his PFL contract last month, and recently revealed he turned down a $2 million per fight offer from the organization in order to wait out the 90 day exclusive negotiation period and see what other promotions might offer him. Free agent forward DeWanna Bonner has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Dream, per ESPN's Alexa Philippou.
The move comes after Bonner agreed to a contract buyout with the Phoenix Mercury earlier in the week. Phoenix general manager Nick U'Ren released a statement about the move, discussing how it was out of respect for the 17-year veteran.
"Because of the relationship we have with DeWanna, we worked out a buyout agreement that gives her the opportunity to chase a ****** le in what could be her final postseason.

Phoenix announced Tuesday that it signed rookie guard Saylor Poffenbarger to a seven-day contract. The move came one day after Bonner reached a buyout agreement with the team. Bonner and the Mercury parted ways after Phoenix was eliminated from playoff contention. The agreement gives the 38-year-old veteran an opportunity to join a contender before the end of her 17th WNBA season.
The move also gives Phoenix a chance to evaluate a young player during its remaining games.
Poffenbarger went undrafted in 2026 but later signed with the Chicago Sky.

When the interviewer asked: "What's the worst piece of advice you've ever been given?" the "Aishite" hitmaker replied that she was asked to start her career at a later stage. "It's like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life," she added confidently.
North is already making big strides in her career. She released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, on May 1 at 12 years old. This was followed by the horror-inspired and graphic music video for her song "Aishite" on August 7. She also made her first-ever solo music festival performance at Summer Smash in June.

The 13-year-old is already stepping into music, performing at festivals and working on her own projects, but in a new interview with Dazed, North said: "I still wanna work."
"I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year," she said. Unfortunately for North, there are probably more than 1 reason why that won't happen.
While the legal age to work in California is 14, you need to be 16 years old to work at Starbucks. Also, being the daughter of two of the most famous people on the planet probably wouldn't be great for security and safety concerns, or crowds of people trying to get clips of her for social media.

North West is spilling the beans on her current dream job.
Despite her burgeoning career as a musician, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 13-year-old daughter has quite the normal career path in mind.
"I still wanna work. I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year," North shared with Dazed in an interview published Aug. 24. "I think I can next year 'cause I'm gonna be 14, so… I think I can."
And as the teen explained, her reason for wanting to work at Starbucks was actually quite simple: "I want to have a regular job."

Super Bowl champion Shannon Sharpe took aim at Enes Kanter on an episode of his "Nightcap" podcast, accusing the former NBA player of "rage baiting" for attention. Sharpe, alongside Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson and former NBA All-Star Joe Johnson, questioned Kanter's motives after he was ejected from a WNBA game following a heated exchange with Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud.

Sharpe and his co-hosts wasted no time calling out Kanter during an episode of "Nightcap," saying the former Boston Celtics player only attended to draw attention to himself and make a ruckus. "He probably ain't never been to no WNBA game. Then go there just to be the agitator, just cause ruckus, just to make the headlines. Come on, bro, what we doing?" Joe Johnson said.
Sharpe didn't seem as annoyed as others, saying Kanter's motive is likely to rile people up so he can garner attention. "He's rage baiting. Then he's gonna run to Fox News and talk about, 'See, this is what I'm talking about, they're not inclusive. They wanna have their cake and eat it too' and yada yada yada yada yada," he said.
Sharpe didn't end there; the 8X Pro-Bowler even came for Kanter's ability to perform, saying if he "were good," he'd still be in the NBA. "His own home country don't want him back," Sharpe said.
