Several videos of Love pretending to live an NFL lifestyle have come to light as the investigation continues; as serious as the implications are, media outlets such as the Speakeasy talk show have weighed in.
Former Philadelphia Eagles LeSean McCoy shared his opinions on the Love case via social media and wasn't afraid to share his admiration for the accused.

Jaylen Brown said goodbye to his old fans of the Boston Celtics at a fan festival in Boston where he was honored by supporters.
Brown spent 10 dedicated seasons wearing Celtics green and was the star who won Finals MVP when it came to delivering them their first championship since 2008.
He was traded away and never had a chance to betray the fanbase, so he was given a hero's goodbye at a recent fan festival which also had Mayor Jennifer Wu in attendance.
Brown took the stage at the 741 Frequency Fest in Boston and addressed the fans, sharing his love with them and thanking them for their support over the last decade.

PFL lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov hasn't entered the UFC yet, but he's already talking trash about the quality of opposition he may face when he gets there.
Nurmagomedov fought the last fight on his PFL contract last month, and recently revealed he turned down a $2 million per fight offer from the organization in order to wait out the 90 day exclusive negotiation period and see what other promotions might offer him. Promotions like the UFC, where he could finally get his due as one of the best lightweights in the world.
In an interview with Sport24, Usman pushed back on the idea that the top fighters are all in the UFC.

Marissa Shafer battled Irene Smith in a marathon No. 2 singles match, earning a 3-6, 7-6 (3), 6-3 win that clinched a 3-2 win for West Scranton over Honesdale on Wednesday in a Lackawanna League Division II girls tennis match.

"It was super tough," Shafer, a junior, said about rallying back after being down a set in a phone interview. "My muscles were cramping up, but I had fun. I just kept my head up. I had a really good mindset going into the second set. It was mostly my mindset, but also picking up strategies that worked against my opponent. I hydrated a lot, and just told myself in my head that I had this. I tried my best not to be nervous. I had to trust all of my shots and have no hesitation.
"It felt really good to win it. I was really relieved."

The agreement gives the 38-year-old veteran an opportunity to join a contender before the end of her 17th WNBA season.

The Phoenix Mercury will not make the WNBA playoffs in 2026. That was fairly clear when last season's finalists began this year with a 2-8 record, but it was mathematically confirmed in a loss to the Atlanta Dream on Saturday.
On Monday, the Mercury announced it had reached an agreement with veteran forward DeWanna Bonner over a contract buyout. Will Howard's terrible preseason performance against the New York Jets was definitely one to forget. It was so bad that some even believed Howard threw away a roster spot with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the young quarterback doesn't seem particularly concerned about the horrendous outing.
Speaking with the media following the two-interception performance in the preseason loss, Howard downplayed his struggles and claimed that how he bounces back is all that really matters.
"If you play quarterback in the NFL, you're going to throw interceptions," Howard said. "I've played quarterback my whole life and I've thrown a lot of interceptions. It comes with the game. I feel like I've been through enough and seen enough that getting down after one pick isn't going to help anything. It's all about how you come back. Obviously, you don't wanna have a [second interception], but you gotta come back after that."
For reference, the Jets, who hadn't intercepted a pass since August 22, 2025, had a field day with Howard, picking him off not once, but twice in the span of seven minutes and thirty seconds. Howard completed 10 of 15 passes for 74 yards and two interceptions to finish out the contest.

Fehoko also criticized the team for their approach to the center position this offseason and for their lack of depth at the position.

Leite had the final two baskets in a 6-0 run and the expansion Fire (15-20) moved in front 81-80 with 1:12 remaining. Portland's Emily Engstler and the Mercury's Kahleah Copper traded baskets before Katie Lou Samuelson hit the second of two foul shots with 20 seconds left to put the Fire up 84-82.

Leite had the final two baskets in a 6-0 run and the expansion Fire (15-20) moved in front 81-80 with 1:12 remaining. Portland's Emily Engstler and the Mercury's Kahleah Copper traded baskets before Katie Lou Samuelson hit the second of two foul shots with 20 seconds left to put the Fire up 84-82.
Bridget Carleton blocked a shot by Copper and grabbed the rebound with 12 seconds to go, then sank two free throws for a four-point lead after Copper fouled her. Alyssa Thomas buried a 3-pointer, but Carleton sank two free throws to preserve the win.
Leite shot 9 for 15 and added five ***** ists. Megan DiLeo had 15 points.
DeWanna Bonner scored 23 to lead Phoenix (13-23). Copper totaled 19 points and seven rebounds. Thomas finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds, falling one ***** ist shy of a triple-double.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Jeeno Thitikul ran off five straight birdies early and closed with an 8-under 64 for a one-shot victory Sunday in The Standard Portland Classic, her third LPGA Tour **** le of the season.
Thitikul led an all-Thailand finish, with Arpichaya Yubol (67) and Chanettee Wannasaen (63) tying for second at Columbia Edgewater Country Club.
Sophia Schubert, the 54-hole leader, had to settle for a 71 and finished fourth.
The 23-year-old Thitikul won for the 10th time in her LPGA career, making her the eighth player to reach 10 wins or more before turning 24. She also joined Nelly Korda as three-time winners this year on the LPGA.
Thitikul finished at 22-under 266 and won $300,000, moving her closer to $20 million in career earnings.
