HIVE Digital Technologies, a Canada-based Bitcoin miner and data center operator that trades on the Nasdaq and Toronto Stock Exchange, has appointed Mark Volk as Senior Vice President of Revenue at BUZZ HPC, its wholly owned AI cloud and high-performance computing subsidiary.
Volk's mandate is to build BUZZ HPC's revenue engine and scale it globally. Sales at Audi, a unit of Volkswagen, have fallen for two consecutive years and slid 7% in the first half of 2026 as fierce competition in China and U.S. tariffs hit demand.
"In Europe, we need compact and efficient cars for the future," Audi CEO Gernot Doellner told Reuters in a two-century-old industrial building in the heart of Paris where the new A2 e-tron was revealed to the press.

Merlin Polzin led his new-look Hamburg side out for their first home league fixture at the Volksparkstadion on Sunday afternoon, hosting a Mainz team with a familiar feel to them.
As Nicolai Remberg and Nadiem Amiri led their teams onto the pitch, Hamburg's Nordtribüne paid a touching tribute to the late Kevin Keegan with a wonderful choreo before kick-off. The Englishman, revered in the Hanseatic City after his exploits in the late 70s, sadly passed away in July.
Hamburg suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Borussia Dortmund on the opening day, and Polzin saw fit to make four changes to the starting XI that turned out in the Ruhrgebiet. A busy deadline day saw three new arrivals at the Volksparkstadion, with David Møller Wolfe and Zakaria El Ouahdi thrown straight in for their debuts; Fabio Vieira, meanwhile, began on the bench.

According to a Bloomberg report, addressing thousands of staff at the Wolfsburg site on Tuesday (25 August), Blume said the reductions were unavoidable given that the company's fixed costs run 30% above those of rival manufacturers.
He clarified that the frequently mentioned figure of 50,000 further job losses worldwide is a theoretical estimate rather than an agreed goal.
The company is currently developing measures to reduce annual European production capacity by 500,000 vehicles, streamline management structures, and trim its range of models and equipment options.
Employee representatives have cautioned that up to 140,000 roles could ultimately be affected.

BERLIN (AP) — An 81-year-old man admitted to ****** ually ****** aulting and killing an American tourist in Germany more than 30 years ago at the opening of his trial on Tuesday, German news agency dpa reported.
The defendant, whose name was not given in line with German privacy rules, admitted to killing 24-year-old Amy Lopez in 1994 in the western German city of Koblenz, the news agency reported.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Mike Mickens did not need an extensive introduction to Jesse Minter when the Baltimore Ravens' new head coach began ***** embling his staff. Their relationship stretches back to 2007, when Mickens was playing cornerback at Cincinnati and Minter joined the Bearcats as a graduate ***** istant working with the defensive backs. Minter later gave Mickens his first full-time coaching opportunity, hiring him as Indiana State's cornerbacks coach in 2012.
Fourteen years later, the two are working together again in Baltimore.
"I've known Jesse for a long time," Mickens said on The Ravens Lounge podcast. "I'm just blessed and honored to get the opportunity to come work with him again."
The reunion also includes inside linebackers coach PJ Volker, who worked alongside Minter and Mickens at Indiana State. Wolfsburg confirmed on Saturday evening that Konstantinos Koulierakis has joined AS Roma, with the transfer reportedly worth around €15 million. The 22-year-old has signed a contract with the Italian club that will keep him in the capital until 2031.

It held onto combustion engine options when rivals were abandoning them. It avoided the kind of expensive strategy reversals that cost peers billions. Its electric sales were growing without the margin collapse that hit everyone else.

The Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga clubs distributed more tickets during the 2025/26 campaign than in any previous season, according to the latest spectator report released by the DFL. The 36 professional clubs registered a combined total of 21,404,258 tickets, including complimentary and honorary admissions. This amounted to an average of 34,974 tickets per fixture, representing a new record across Germany's top two divisions.
The Bundesliga alone recorded 12,718,097 distributed tickets, an increase of 9.1 percent compared with the previous campaign. The average top-flight attendance rose from 38,082 to 41,562. The return of Hamburg and 1. FC Köln contributed significantly to the increase. Both promoted clubs possess large stadiums and substantial supporter bases, while relegated sides VfL Bochum and Holstein Kiel operated with considerably smaller capacities.
Another rise can be anticipated during the forthcoming campaign following Schalke 04's promotion back to the Bundesliga.
Borussia Dortmund once again recorded the league's highest average attendance, welcoming almost 80,000 spectators per home match in their 81,365-seat venue. Bayern Munich followed with approximately 75,000 in their 75,024-seat Arena while promoted Hamburg averaged around 56,900 in the 57,000-seat Volksparkstadion.
The Bundesliga's reported stadium occupancy rate also increased slightly from 95.9 to 96.1 percent.
