Arizona State basketball is expected to struggle in Randy Bennett's first year as head coach.
The Big 12 media says so. In the Monster Energy Big 12 Men's Basketball Media Preseason Poll, Big 12 media members picked the Sun Devils to rank just 12th out of 16 in the conference for the 2026-27 season.
This comes after a season where ASU went for a third straight campaign of not making the NCAA Tournament. They have not been past the first round of the NCAA Tournament in any of the previous 12 seasons.
Bennett comes into the fold after leading the Saint Mary's Gaels to five straight NCAA Tournament appearances. They made it out of the first round of those five NCAA Tournaments three times.
To make matters worse for ASU, the Arizona Wildcats rank No. 1 in the media poll. UA won the regular-season Big 12 championship and the Big 12 Tournament championship last season.

ATHENS — Concord University esports will host a Dead by Daylight tournament on Oct. 30 in an effort to bring students and members of the surrounding community together for a Halloween-themed competition.
Nathan Lockhart, ****** istant director of Concord esports, said the program began planning the tournament over the summer as a way to celebrate Halloween while giving people another reason to visit campus.
"We figured, what would be a better way to celebrate Halloween on a weekday than having a game about horror?" Lockhart said.
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer horror game in which four players act as survivors while another takes on the role of the killer. The survivors attempt to escape while the killer tries to eliminate them.
Lockhart said several members of Concord's esports program already play the game regularly, which makes it a natural choice for the event.

The pounding drums of Fogo Azul have become a familiar sound for New York City Marathon runners, and this Sunday the group will once again take its place along the course to help motivate athletes chasing the finish line.
Fogo Azul, which means "blue fire" in Portuguese, is a women-led samba reggae drumline whose mantra is simple: percussion is power.
Founder Stacy Kovacs said the group's energy is a natural match for New York.
"New York is big, we're big ..we're loud, New York is loud," Kovacs said.
The drumline has become a marathon tradition that both members and runners look forward to each year. According to Kovacs, runners can hear the band long before they arrive.

The Big 12 loves its basketball.
According to conference commissioner Brett Yormark, the only better league for the sport is the NBA.
Eight Big 12 teams reached the NCAA Tournament last March, with six winning at least one game in the Big Dance and Arizona reaching the Final Four.
With the start of the 2026-27 regular season quickly approaching, the conference has released its preseason media poll. It will serve as our first installment of this year's Big 12 basketball power rankings, which will be updated weekly upon the start of league play in January.
Here's where media members covering the Big 12, including myself, picked the conference's 16 teams to finish this season.

Costco has built a reputation on low prices, bulk deals, and member-exclusive perks. But one of the warehouse club's most recognizable attractions is also one of its most controversial: the food court.
For many shoppers, a trip to Costco isn't complete without a $1.50 hot dog and soda, a slice of pizza, or another inexpensive bite after navigating the warehouse's crowded aisles.
The food court has become an important part of the Costco experience, reinforcing the retailer's value-focused image and giving members another reason to shop.
The hot dog deal, whose $1.50 price point has been locked in since 1985, is particularly iconic.

Nearly one in three veterans who relies on the government for health care could benefit from taking psychedelic drugs like magic mushrooms or MDMA.
That's not the ******* sment of some hippie or fading 1960s rock star. It came from Andrew Gradison, a senior adviser at President Donald Trump's Veterans Health Administration. Gradison told a conference for psychedelics enthusiasts this month that he is eager to ramp up the VA's capacity to give the drugs to as many as 2.1 million veterans with mental illnesses like post-traumatic stress disorder or depression. Gradison said 6.4 million veterans regularly rely on the VA for care.
No government regulator has deemed psychedelics safe or effective for mental illness. Under former President Joe Biden, the Food and Drug Administration in 2024 resoundingly rejected a proposal to authorize MDMA — also known as ecstasy — combined with talk therapy, to treat people with PTSD.
But psychedelics are getting a second chance in the Trump administration. Trump in April issued an executive order to accelerate research, clinical trials and patient access to the drugs. Republicans in Congress are among psychedelics' biggest backers. And the constituency they are seeking to please, veterans, are disproportionately Republicans.
Veterans, frustrated with high suicide rates among their fellow ex-service members, are lobbying aggressively to see Trump follow through.

New York governor Kathy Hochul will today (Monday) launch an 88-person exploratory committee to report on the feasibility and challenges of a formal bid to host the Winter Olympic Games, according to people with knowledge of the announcement who spoke anonymously as they were not authorized to do so publicly.
The potential bid would see New York City and Lake Placid partner to host the 2042 edition.
Earlier this year, Gov. Hochul told The Athletic that "significant" meetings had taken place as she seeks to return the Winter Olympics to New York state for the first time since 1980, which is best remembered for the Miracle on Ice when the U.S. hockey team defeated the Soviet Union. Gov. Hochul, while announcing the committee today, will also announce a $2.5 million funding commitment to create a monument in Lake Placid in honor of the Miracle on Ice team.
The Lake Placid-New York City Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games Exploratory Committee will have an eight-strong leadership group, which will include Ashley Walden, the president and CEO of the Olympic Regional Development Authority, as well as representation from the offices of Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand (both Democrats), sources said. It will also include Julie Su, appointed deputy mayor for economic justice of New York City by mayor Zohran Mamdani, as well as Hope Knight, the president of Empire State Development, the New York state economic development arm.
There is a 16-member sub-committee on finance, which includes John Collins, co-owner and operating partner of the New York Islanders, and Josh Cohen, the son of New York Mets owner Steve Cohen, who works as the team's vice president of business development. Randy Levine, the owner of the New York Yankees, is one of 12 members of a legal sub-committee, which also includes Robert Landau, the executive vice-president of NBC Universal, the long-time broadcaster of the Olympics in the United States.

Reading Women fought back from 3-1 down at half-time to claim a thrilling 5-3 victory over Chesham United at The Meadow on Sunday.
Chesham made a flying start, with Holly Fitzgerald and Ruby Slade scoring within two minutes of each other to put the hosts 2-0 ahead. Alice Curr pulled one back for the Royals, but United restored their two-goal advantage before the break when Henrietta Cunnison headed home from a corner to make it 3-1 at the break.
The first half was made even worse after an injury to Leah Why, last weekend's hat-trick hero, who hobbled off with ****** istance from two members of the Reading coaching team before being taken to hospital for further tests.
Reading bounced back with a determined second half, however. Bethan Poole struck first to give the Royals renewed vigour before Nat Cowell scored twice to complete the turnaround and put Reading in front, before Ellie Luscombe opened her account for the season and added a fifth goal, capping off an impressive turnaround and putting the result beyond doubt.
In the most autumnal of conditions, with torrential rain falling throughout the afternoon, the Royals displayed grit, tenacity and strength of character, fighting back to secure their second consecutive away league win of the season.

All of a sudden, that 24-team College Football Playoff format might be front and center for an SEC dreaming of getting five, six, ten of its members into the postseason tournament.
Yes, the CFP is supposed to use a new metric – which is really a twist on what it already utilizes – that gives more respect to the strengths of schedules. That's supposed to boost the SEC – give, say, 2025 Texas credit for losing at Ohio State, even though it went 9-3 – but there are two issues with that, at least when it comes to what we're projecting below.
First, the College Football Playoff always falls back on record ranking. If there's a debate in the Grapevine meeting room – it's nice; the food is tremendous – 10-2 is a lot easier to sell than 9-3, which is why we haven't seen Power Four programs with three pre-conference championship losses leapfrog those with two or fewer.
And second, even though the upsets are coming – last Saturday probably wasn't an outlier – there's no way, no how, no chance the committee will put in a 9-3 power conference team in over an 11-1 Power Four program.
That's where the SEC comes in. A few weeks ago, it looked like the conference would own the CFP. And then Florida started losing. So did LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. Now, as we're doing this just past the midway point in the season, there are just four SEC teams left – Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Tennessee – with fewer than two losses, and all of them have one.
So how many SEC teams will make the College Football Playoff? Our best guess is three, and it'll take a shoehorn to make that happen. (By the way, we're still bullish on Kentucky, but we're predicting a few close losses over the next few weeks.)
– Why the 24-Team CFP Probably Won't Suck
Oct 17, 2026; Bloomington, Indiana, USA; Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin (10) walks off the field with his arm in a sling after the game against the Indiana Hoosiers Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Robert Goddin-Imagn Images
Projected Final Record: 13-0
Remaining Games: at App State, Troy, at Southern Miss, at UConn, Coastal Carolina
This will likely be a big debate if Boise State keeps on rolling and goes 12-1 with a Pac-12 **** le, with its only loss coming to Oregon in the season opener. James Madison won't have any Power Four wins – last year's team didn't either – but if it's 13-0, it'll be tough to leave out.
Projected Final Record: 9-3
Remaining Games: at Auburn, Alabama, Texas, at Tennessee, at Arkansas
Here's where the strength of schedule emphasis kicks in. The call is that the committee would rank a three-loss LSU over a Big 12 or ACC team – it's my favorite CFP line, because I swear I've seen a little box behind glass that the committee goes to when it's in a pinch that says – … because it's Alabama.
There's still one more LSU loss coming somewhere – like, at Tennessee – but Alabama is everything in the brief history of the College Fo

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham sparked plenty of backlash this summer with her comments on transgender athletes in women's sports. And she doesn't seem to have any interest in staying out of the debate this offseason.
Cunningham has now weighed in on a viral protest out of Washington, where members of a high school girls' cross-country team walked off the course in protest of a transgender teammate. Cunningham offered her support for the runners.
Cunningham first drew national attention for her views on the topic in a July ESPN feature, saying she wanted to "protect women's sports."
"I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I'm like, 'I never once said that,'" Cunningham said, via ESPN. "I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men."
Cunningham later doubled down on her comments, saying her opinion was "common sense."

Meghan Markle is reportedly facing fresh tensions with her US team after a promotional image for her As Ever brand drew criticism over its cooking setup. The reported fallout comes as the ******* ss of Sussex seeks to hire senior British staff. However, an insider claims her history of staff turnover could make it harder for her to attract experienced candidates.
According to sources cited by Naughty But Nice, Meghan Markle has grown frustrated with her US team after critics questioned an As Ever promotional cooking photo. The image appeared to show a gas stove that was switched off, leading critics to question the cooking setup. However, the photo alone does not confirm whether Meghan was actually cooking or whether she used the stove at another time.
An insider claimed Meghan expected her team to catch potential problems before the image reached the public. "She exploded," the source said. "It was, 'How did ******* ody catch this?' Meghan expects her team to protect her from exactly this kind of ridicule." However, her reaction may be making it harder for her to hire new staff. "She blames the American team when things go wrong, while prospective British employees are watching," the source explains. "Nobody wants to become the next person blamed — or the next departure that makes headlines."
Meghan is reportedly looking to strengthen her team in the UK, including by hiring an executive ******* istant. The source argued that a prestigious ******* le and the opportunity to work closely with Meghan may not be enough to convince top candidates to accept a role.

The source added that prospective employees may wonder whether they would have a different experience from previous staff members. "People see the turnover and think, 'Why would it be different for me?'" the insider claimed.

Hayden Panettiere's daughter, Kaya, made a rare court appearance amid the legal dispute over her mother's estate.
The 11-year-old attended the Los Angeles Superior Court hearing virtually on Oct. 8 alongside her father, Wladimir Klitschko, Panettiere's former fiancé, according to The **** ociated Press and People. Kaya reportedly briefly appeared on camera to confirm her identity to the judge.
She was "soft-spoken and composed," People reported. The proceedings centered on Klitschko's request for "immediate" guardianship of Panettiere's estate on behalf of Kaya, the sole beneficiary, alleging "non-family members" have been misappropriating the "Nashville" star's property.
The judge ultimately granted Klitschko temporary guardianship of the estate and set another court date for Dec. 7, noting Kaya would not need to be present.

Republican efforts to reduce national gas prices in the weeks before Election Day were derailed in the Senate by infighting among GOP lawmakers and members of the administration who could not agree on how to ease consumers’ pain at the pump.
The divisions within the Senate Republican conference over how to lower gas and diesel prices — even if temporarily — were driven primarily by geographic differences.
Senators from oil-refining states shot down proposals from farm-state senators to ban the export of diesel or to loosen restrictions on the sale of E15 gasoline with higher ethanol content.
“You’re talking about regional politics, and it gets bogged down in the politics of energy, and the fiefdoms around it,” said Ron Bonjean, a GOP strategist and former Senate leadership aide.
There were divisions that went beyond geography, too.

One year after Joan Kennedy's death, her friend remembers a resilient survivor who was much more than a "Kennedy wife"
The former wife of Sen Ted Kennedy was candid about her own alcoholism and supportive of the recovery community
Joan planned her own funeral, especially the music, choosing "America, The Beautiful" at the end, which her friend Margo Nash says, "I think it was her way of saying goodbye"
There was always more to Joan Kennedy than being a "Kennedy wife," as loyal as she was to the family, long after her 1982 divorce from from Sen. Ted Kennedy. One year after her death on Oct. 8, 2025, at 89 years old, her friend Margo Nash, 77, remembers a woman who, most of all, "was a survivor."
We met in 2006 on Cape Cod. We had both gone to Manhattanville College and what struck me was how humble and accessible she was — given the fact that she had been part of history.

The USS Abraham Lincoln, the US aircraft carrier that has been deployed for nearly a year and has spent months supporting US military operations against Iran, is scheduled to dock in San Diego on Thursday afternoon.
It marks the end of a deployment that has been described as "one of the most operationally intense and consequential of the modern era" and that became marked by a record-stretch at sea, repeated deployment extensions, and reports of supply shortages, and deteriorating morale and mental health among some crew members.
The Lincoln left San Diego last November, initially bound for the Pacific. But it was redirected to the Middle East after the US and Israel launched their war with Iran in late February. The carrier remained there until late August, when it was relieved by the USS George Washington and began its journey home.
Earlier in August, the Lincoln's deployment made headlines and faced scrutiny as reports began surfacing about poor living conditions aboard the ship, including shortages of supplies and water, plumbing problems, low morale, and worsening mental health among the roughly 5,000 personnel on the carrier. Two leading military newspapers also reported that there had been two attempts by sailors to jump overboard, causing concern among families and military health experts.
The reports prompted outrage from Democrats, while senior officials in the Trump administration pushed back. Pete Hegseth, the US defense secretary, called the reports "completely misrepresented", and when reporters asked Donald Trump if he thought the deployment had gone on too long, he responded: "Not nearly long enough" – a comment that angered some naval families.

Priscilla Presley celebrated her twin granddaughters, Harper and Finley, on their 18th birthday with a rare photo.
On Wednesday, October 7, Elvis Presley's ex-wife took to Instagram with a snapshot of the birthday girls along with a message for their big day.
"Happy birthday Harper & Finley," Priscilla, 81, captioned her update, alongside a red heart emoji.
Finley and Harper are the daughters of Priscilla and Elvis' only child, Lisa Marie Presley, and her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood. Lisa Marie died at 54 in January 2023, following a small bowel obstruction caused by scar tissue from weight loss surgery.
In the comments, fans were in disbelief over how much the twins resembled their famous family members. One Instagram user marveled, "Wow! I haven't really seen them 'grown up,' but they look like Priscilla and Lisa Marie!"

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — A Texas man who fatally shot a convenience store clerk was put to death Wednesday evening, becoming the 30th person executed in the U.S. this year and the first since Tennessee's failed attempt to administer a lethal injection to Christa Pike a week ago.
Jamaal Howard, 46, was **** ounced dead at 8:03 p.m. after receiving a fatal dose of pentobarbital at the state prison in Huntsville. He was convicted of killing of Vickie Swartout, 42, in a 2000 store robbery caught on surveillance video.
Asked by the warden if he had a final statement, Howard apologized profusely to some members of his victim's family, who watched through a window just feet from the death chamber.
"I wish that you accept my apology and I wish for your forgiveness," he said, shortly before the injection got underway. "I'm sorry for what happened. I wish you can learn to forgive me one of these days."
He also thanked his friends and family and said he loved them, adding he was "in a good state of mind to find peace and the Lord, so I thank y'all." He concluded with: "Hey, enjoy life, and peace to y'all."

Minutes from the Federal Reserve's September policy meeting reflect unanimous agreement among officials that interest rates needed to be higher to combat persistent inflation.
"Participants generally emphasized that inflation remained elevated while the labor market appeared to be near full employment, with some signs of strengthening, and that economic activity was expanding at a solid pace. Furthermore, almost all participants ****** sed that, while inflation risks were tilted to the upside, risks to the labor market had diminished and were now broadly balanced," minutes from the Sept. 16 meeting released Wednesday stated.
"Based on the outlook and the changing balance of risks, all participants viewed a higher target range for the federal funds rate as appropriate."
The Fed voted unanimously on Sept. 16 to raise rates, the first hike in three years. And at the time, most Federal Open Market Committee members saw a need for at least one more 25 basis point rate hike this year.
Markets were banking on a hike and expecting more to come.

Students at Cornell University began what was billed as a seven-hour sit-in on Wednesday in solidarity with "Jane Doe," the former student who alleges she was drugged and raped by multiple members of a fraternity on its Ithaca, N.Y., campus in October 2024.
"Seven hours for the seven hours she endured," a coalition of Cornell student groups said in an Instagram post announcing the demonstration. "Seven hours of solidarity. Seven hours demanding change."
About 80 students gathered in a campus dining hall named for Pulitzer Prize-winning author Toni Morrison on Wednesday afternoon, according to NBC News. The protest was part of "Zero Day," which organizers described as an "economic blackout calling on students to disrupt business as usual by not attending class or spending on campus."
A Cornell University student sits with a sign during a campus-wide sit-in on Oct. 7.
The sit-in comes two days after thousands of people took part in a campus rally protesting Cornell's handling of Jane Doe's allegations. Demonstrators held signs accusing the school of protecting the alleged rapists and demanding accountability.

Much of President Donald Trump's second term has focused on changes to the nation's capital.
But his ambitions to remake the physical architecture of the presidency transcend Washington: Trump wants to transform his West Palm Beach golf club into a presidential retreat modeled after Camp David.
Subscribe to The Post Most newsletter for the most important and interesting stories from The Washington Post.
The plan calls for a parcel of the private club to be designated a permanent, official sanctuary for foreign leaders and future U.S. presidents, designed to host international summits and house presidents when they take vacations in Florida, according to a proposal presented to Palm Beach County officials by Trump International Golf Club's legal counsel. Future presidents would also be offered comped memberships to the Trump club.
"Just as Camp David, Windsor Castle, or the Elysee Palace are known worldwide, so too will the Presidential Golf Course in Palm Beach County," Harvey Oyer, a lawyer representing the Trump course, wrote to the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners in a letter last month. Oyer asked the county, which owns the property the course is on, to provide a piece of the land to the federal government, and he promised Trump would pay for the construction of a presidential residence and facilities on that land.

"The general rumor that was going around was that it was a consensual thing."

Newly obtained videos reviewed by ABC News show members of Cornell's Chi Phi fraternity being questioned by university police in the weeks after the alleged ****** ault.

One fraternity member told police in the video that "what people were saying was that there was like multiple consenting adults in this room."

In July, Reps. Mike Lawler, a New York Republican, and Josh Gottheimer, a New Jersey Democrat, had a request for the Federal Election Commission: help make sure artificial intelligence chatbots do not feed voters false information about the 2026 midterm elections.
The lawmakers, writing to the FEC as well as the Justice and Homeland Security departments, urged the agencies to coordinate on "AI-driven threats to election integrity" and to press AI companies on their safeguards. Their concerns come as a quarter of likely voters use AI tools daily and at least 38% have gotten information about candidates or voting from AI search summaries, according to a September survey released by the American ****** ociation of Political Consultants Foundation.
But later that month, FEC Commissioner Shana Broussard, a Democrat, wrote back with a blunt answer: the agency couldn't help. With only two of its six commissioner seats filled, the FEC "cannot proceed," she wrote, according to documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act.
Broussard signed the letter as an individual commissioner. Without a quorum — the four members needed out of a total of six — she could not under federal law even speak for the agency.

Ben Affleck has spent so much of his adult life as tabloid fodder that some people probably know more about the alleged contents of his Dunkin' order than they do about some of his movies. Bennifer alone generated enough headlines for several lifetimes, and even relatively mundane activities tend to become internet events. Remember the Sad Affleck meme and those miserable-looking cigarette photos? Of course you do. Well, someone finally asked him about all that tabloid ink spilled on him and he's more candid than I'd ever have guessed.
During a new installment of GQ's One More Question, the outlet brought up one particularly bizarre stretch in early 2025, when the former Batman performer was simultaneously dealing with rumors that his home had burned in the Los Angeles fires and that the FBI had raided the property. His response was much more resigned than angry, as he explained:
I have them much less frequently now, which is nice, but there are still occasionally these strange flareups. At the time, there were both rumors that the FBI had raided my home and that my house had burned down. They can't both be true. It's like all these things, and then none of it turns out to be true, and ****** ody remembers it.

Blatantly picking your favorite kid is one of those ultimate parenting taboos, right? And yet, Chris Hemsworth hasn't been shy about how he handles the topic with his three kids. Funny enough, when Hemsworth brought up his thoughts on playing faves with family members, it led to a bunch of fans who are pointing out something similar about what Thor does in the ordered Marvel movies. At least he's consistent, right?
Let's talk out this fun connection.
Chris is one of three kids himself, and since all the Hemsworth brothers have paved their own path in show business, there's been a lot of talk over the years about who "the best" is. While one might think that means Chris might treat all his kids equally given that experience, that's not necessarily the case. As he revealed:

It's been an extremely busy period for Earl Charles Spencer, the brother of the late Princess Diana, who has been non-stop in promoting his very personal book, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister. Following his time stateside to talk about the publication, he is back at his beloved Althorp estate and he's shared a poignant photo from the place where his sister is buried.
The Earl took to his personal Instagram Stories to share an image that he took during a moment of quiet contemplation from the edge of the Round Oval Lake, partially showing the central island where Diana is laid to rest. Pleased with his photography skills, Charles captioned the picture: "My luckiest capture of the Round Oval Lake, Althorp." The striking photo showed the sun piercing through the scattered clouds on a crisp autumn day as the mist hung around the base of the trees.
The lake where Diana is buried
Diana's final resting place was decided upon by Charles himself, following her tragic 1997 death. Originally, it was planned that she would be laid to rest in the Spencer family vault at the local church but security concerns ruled that out. Instead, the island on the lake was chosen and the bridge removed to restrict access even further. Now, family members paying their respects have to board a small boat to get to her exact gravesite.

A key gauge of where the market thinks rates are headed is the CME FedWatch survey, which polls interest rate traders. In the days leading up to the September Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, almost 60% of those polled expected a 25-basis-point rate hike, which the FOMC delivered on Sept. 16.
While most, 78%, expect rates to stay the same at the Oct. 28 Fed meeting, an overwhelming majority of traders anticipate a rate hike when the FOMC meets on Dec. 9. Specifically, 67% expect a 25-basis-point increase, and 17% say rates will be 50 basis points higher by then.

They may be taking cues from FOMC members themselves, like Fed Governor Michael Barr. In a speech on Sept. 29 in Detroit, Barr said eight words that gave a decent clue as to what he is thinking about rates.
"Further policy adjustments are likely to be needed," Barr said in Detroit last week, "to ensure inflation comes down to target in a timely fashion."

Relatives of some soldiers killed in the Iran war joined dozens of Gold Star families from prior U.S. conflicts Tuesday at the White House, where President Donald Trump offered words of comfort and candles were lit for the fallen service members, according to one of the widows who attended.
Not all families of the six soldiers killed March 1 in the deadliest attack of the Iran war opted to attend. Troops who survived the attack have raised questions about why they were stationed at a site that didn't have sufficient air protection and was viewed as a likely target.
Michelle Tietjens and other relatives have said they are angry the Army still hasn't answered questions over whether enough was done to protect their loved ones. But Tietjens and her teenage son traveled from Bellevue, Nebraska, to attend the event to honor her husband, Master Sgt. Noah Tietjens, who was killed along with five other Army Reserve soldiers by an Iranian drone strike in Kuwait.
"I decided to go originally because my son wanted to go," Tietjens said. "But then I wanted to see what it was about as well. I wanted to also go to support my husband's memory."
She said they toured several rooms of the White House and took a photo with Trump and the first lady, Melania Trump. Tietjens said the president told them that he wished he had her teenage son's full head of curly hair.
