On September 9, 2026, Reuters reported that Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) raised £4.25 billion, or about $5.76 billion, in its first-ever sterling bond sale, slightly more than initially expected, as part of a four-tranche deal spanning 3 to 19 years. Final investor demand came in at more than £10.65 billion, roughly 2.5 times the amount raised, but that was notably lower than the demand Alphabet saw for its own sterling debut in February, a sign ******* ysts said shows hyperscaler borrowing may be starting to test the limits of investor appetite.
Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)'s first sterling bond sale shows that investors still have a strong appetite for its debt. The firm raised $5.8 billion through the offering, and demand reached roughly 2.5 times the amount available. The sterling market also has relatively limited supply of large technology-company debt. It could back up demand for future Amazon issuance in the currency. Strong demand gives Amazon another funding channel as it finances its large-scale AI and cloud infrastructure investments.
Amazon can put the proceeds toward AWS, its fastest-growing major business. AWS revenue increased 36.7% year over year in the second quarter. It marks its fastest growth rate in 18 quarters as demand for AI infrastructure accelerated. Funding more data centers, computing capacity and related infrastructure could allow Amazon to capture more of that demand. If AWS sustains its growth while making strong operating profits, the additional debt could support investments in one of Amazon's most important long-term earnings drivers.
The sterling offering diversifies Amazon's funding base as its capital requirements grow. Amazon issued four tranches with maturities ranging from three to 19 years. It gives the business access to UK investors while adding sterling financing alongside its existing dollar, euro, Swiss franc and yen debt. This overall investor base gives Amazon greater flexibility to raise capital across different markets and currencies. So diversification could become more valuable as Amazon funds an unprecedented AI infrastructure buildout without relying entirely on one debt market.
Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)'s weaker reception compared with Alphabet signals that investors may demand higher borrowing costs from hyperscalers. Amazon's sterling offering attracted about 2.5 times coverage, below Alphabet's roughly 3.5 times coverage for its recent euro bond sale. The difference shows that demand for hyperscaler debt is not unlimited. If investor appetite continues to weaken, Amazon could face higher yields on future borrowing, increasing the cost of financing its AI infrastructure expansion.

The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAIN) announced on September 14 that it agreed to sell most international operations to AURELIUS for estimated cash consideration of $323 million. Expected net proceeds of $305 million to $310 million would repay debt and leave a business concentrated in North America.
The immediate hurdle is financing. The agreement, signed September 12, requires a credit-agreement amendment by October 12 extending the December 22, 2026 maturity by at least nine months. AURELIUS can terminate if that amendment is not secured by the deadline.
The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAIN) expects closing in its fiscal second quarter ending December 31, subject to lender agreement and regulatory approvals. The dollar consideration estimates also depend on exchange rates because the purchase price is denominated in sterling.
The transaction could materially reduce the debt burden. The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAIN) reported $558 million of total debt as of June 30. Subtracting the estimated net proceeds implies approximately $248 million to $253 million remaining, a calculation using rounded figures before subsequent borrowings, repayments, or other changes.
That reduction could lower interest expense and give management more room to stabilize the retained brands. The remaining portfolio includes Celestial Seasonings tea, The Greek Gods yogurt and Earth's Best baby and kids foods.

Exodus Movement, Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN:EXOD) reported on September 11 that August payment-processing gross transaction volume reached $356.8 million, up from $338.0 million in July. Monthly active cards declined to 757,900 from 783,600.
Separately, Web3 exchange-provider processed volume increased to $376.8 million from $314.8 million, while reported monthly active users remained at 1.4 million. The figures show stronger transaction activity alongside fewer active cards and a stable reported user count.
The question is whether that activity produces enough revenue to improve profitability while Exodus Movement, Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN:EXOD) integrates Monavate and reduces costs.
Payment growth persists after adjusting for currency translation. Exodus Movement, Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN:EXOD) converted sterling payment volumes into dollars using average rates of $1.35 per pound for August and $1.34 for July. Reversing those conversions implies approximately 4.8% growth in underlying sterling volume, compared with 5.6% in reported dollars. Both calculations use rounded disclosed figures.
Web3 exchange-provider volume increased approximately 19.7%. XO Swap partners contributed 23% of volume in both months. The unchanged reported share suggests both the partner channel and the remaining business contributed to growth.

There was more than one Coco at Chanel's celebration of its new Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu fragrance at Balthazar last night.
Actress and singer Coco Arquette was among the evening's starry attendees, alongside Euphoria's Anna Van Patten and Sterling Point's Ella Rubin. She channeled her mom Courteney ******* 's '90s style in a sleek cream slip dress, lived-in straw-colored waves, and a cool-toned nude lip. "All I know is I just wanted to look pretty," says Arquette of her approach to getting ready for the night. And she had one beauty non-negotiable: "Always lashes galore."
Her makeup artist, Benjamin Puckey, brought that vision to life. "I wanted the makeup to feel polished, yet in that very Chanel way, cool and effortless, and completely true to Coco," he says.
The look began with a glowing complexion. "I kept the skin luminous and dimensional, with a gorgeous warm pink flush on the cheeks," says Puckey, who used Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Blush in Warm Pink for the natural-looking effect.

The U.S. dollar remains flat amid higher treasury yields driven by soaring energy costs. With Brent crude topping $100, worries of inflation across the globe are coming back, with the U.S. 10-year yield climbing to a 2023 high. That said, the dollar has remained unchanged, demonstrating lack of interest from investors to add long positions before the release of the upcoming US inflation data and next week's FOMC meeting.
The U.S. data on tap to influence markets is the Producer Price Index (PPI) today and Consumer Price Index (CPI) on Friday. The market currently puts odds at around 60% that the Fed may hike at its next meeting on Wednesday, following strong labor market data and increased energy shock. The energy crisis may also bring inflation concerns to investors, while the data may be weaker and may even lead market ****** ysts to turn less hawkish.
The euro zone also remains front and center. The ECB is going to hike rates by 25 bps today and mail the deposit rate at 2.50%. The consensus in the market is that the ECB will not hike again this year. Euro zone inflation was at 3.3% in August, and pressure on energy prices is building, with Deutsche Bank calling for a December rate hike.
Sterling remains subdued. The Bank of England is more cautious than its peers. There is a high consensus in the market that the BoE will hold rates on September 17. 57 of the economists polled in the REUTERS survey expect the BoE to hold for the remainder of the year. Energy concerns are high, and wage and price inflation are still muted.
As indicated in the chart, tightening by the ECB contrasts with the Fed's data dependency and the BoE's wait-and-see approach.

Tress Way has been an institution in Washington for more than a decade. The Commanders claimed him off waivers back in 2024 and he has been their punter ever since, with a sterling track record that included three Pro Bowl selections.
That time playing for the Burgundy and Gold, or for anyone else, may be coming to an end.
The 36-year-old told on-site reporters on Thursday afternoon that 2026 may be his final season. While he's old by NFL player standard, Way remains at the top of his game and one of the best punters in the league.
Way also said that he informed Commanders general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn that he's strongly considering retirement.
He was clearly in a reflective mood during his Thursday meeting with media discussing the prospect of hangin' em up.

It seemed like a heartwarming ending. Chris Paul, the man who helped turn around the Clippers' culture and the transition from Donald Sterling to Steve Ballmer as an owner during the Lob City era, came back to the Clippers for his final season before retiring.
Instead, Paul's strong leadership style clashed with coach Tyronn Lue and management — CP3 would say he was holding them accountable — and 21 games into the season they sent him away from the team (but still on the roster). Then at the deadline he was traded to Toronto in what was purely a financial move.
Chris Paul discussed that exit on the Build or Break podcast and did not hold back.
"What's interesting about that whole situation is, it's probably one of the most disrespectful things that I've endured...
"I think just because of the investment we made in the team for as long as we have, and to see the way stuff was handled. What it lets you know is that no matter what you do or what you've done, **** ody cares."

Borussia Dortmund did it the hard way today in only their second match of the season. Away to Hoffenheim, the Black and Yellows went two goals behind, leaving it all to do with thirty minutes to play. Waldemar Anton took charge, sporting the captain's armband, blasting through the Hoffenheim defense at a lax moment to nick a loose ball and square it for Serhou Guirassy, who got the comeback started. BVB would find two further goals from Fabio Silva, and an own goal created by some intelligent interplay between Silva and Nwaneri.
The defense today was… not exactly sterling. The injury to Mane unsettled the back line, and despite some bright spots specifically from Gadou in progression, there were also some calamitous errors that gave Hoffenheim control of the momentum. Anton has been given the tricky task of leading a young, inexperienced back line. Gadou and Mane are talented, but they are both really in their first seasons of top flight football. Anton needs to keep them in check and handle his defensive duties as well. It's a lot of responsibity for BVB's stand-in captain. Anton's tenacity to win the ball high up the pitch got his team back into the game, and he deserves credit for his efforts across the pitch.
An additional note on Mane. I'm worried about this kid. Two hamstring injuries in only a few professional matches point to either a more serious issue, or insufficient preparation from the physio team. Mane has looked promising in the lead up to the season, but these injuries threaten to derail his career. BVB need to get their well-paid medical staff to figure out what's going on here.
Anyone seen the midfield? I can't seem to find it.
I'm not sure if we blame Kovac here, blame the players, blame the system, but my goodness where is our central spine? Hoffenheim ran down the throat of the BVB defense for the entire first half because there seemed to be no cover in front of it. Maybe we will see more of Veerman in the weeks to come, but it's not like the dutchman is some deep-lying enforcer—he is a creator. If BVB are going to be fielding a juvenile back line for the next few weeks (they are), the midfield needs to provide some better cover.

Amanda Anisimova, runner-up at the 2025 US Open, fell Saturday in the third round to Anastasia Potapova, who capitalized on a flood of unforced errors from the American.
Potapova, seeded 24th, topped the 10th-seeded Anisimova 6-2, 7-5.
Anisimova enjoyed a sterling 2025, also reaching the final of Wimbledon and winning two prestigious tour events, but she has struggled to approach her level from last year.
Potapova took full advantage of 46 unforced errors from Anisimova, who had already been pushed hard in her second-round win over another Austrian, Lilli Tagger.
Potapova, who was born in Russia but now plays for Austria, will next face either fifth-seeded reigning French Open champion Mirra Andreeva, a 6-2, 7-6 (7/5) winner over Czech Nikola Bartunkova.

The greenback has begun the month with its momentum challenged by the more recent labor data. The August ADP report was 38,000 compared to the 48,000 report that economists expected, and also showed a loss of jobs in manufacturing as well as professional and business services. The report supports signs of cooling hiring, and was lower for Treasury yields. Even with the reports, futures still hint at a 60%–65% likelihood of a rate hike in September by the Fed. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh also kept a hawkish stance at Jackson Hole with his speech, keeping expectations of a rate hike high. Friday's employment data will be the last big report with the potential to change expectations, and a weak report will drop the likelihood of a rate hike.
The euro still supports a firm policy with eurozone inflation reaching 3.3% in August from July's 2.9%. This increase was largely due to the Iran conflict and the resulting energy costs. The markets have priced in the expected 25 basis point increase with the deposit rate most likely to reach 2.50% for this hike. With core inflation reaching 2.4%, a more cautious slow pace of tightening is expected, rather than a prolonged hiking period.
Sterling is facing the harder of the two domestics. Gilt yields for the ten year have reached their highest level since 2007 at 5.294% with energy costs, inflation, and fiscal concerns and spending all reaching a high prior to the October budget. The BoE is still expected to hold Bank Rate at 3.75% in September, but a 25 basis point hike is expected in the coming year at later dates.
The movement of the FX theme for September 3 is expected to be data-dependent. Soft U.S. hiring diminishes the conviction of the Fed Funds rate hike, and the ECB retains the most compelling case for forward tightening. In the meantime, fiscal stress is holding back GBP, despite higher than desired inflation.
For September 3, the FX theme appears to be increasingly data dependent. Soft U.S. hiring diminishes the conviction of the Fed Funds rate hike, and the ECB maintains the most persuasive case for front-running tightening.

WINNSBORO — The Sterlington Panthers took the first step in making their own history.
After winning back-to-back Division III nonselect championships, Sterlington's ultimate goal is going for a three-peat — something it has never done before. The Panthers, now in D-II nonselect, traveled to Franklin Parish, a top-10 team from last season that fell by one score in the second round to Lutcher.
The Patriots have two Power 4-caliber backs in senior and LSU commit Trey Martin and junior DJ Neal. But Sterlington still took care of business with a 42-30 victory against Franklin Parish on Thursday, Sept. 3, at Patriot Stadium.
LHSAA football: Here's the full Week 1 Monroe-area schedule
Martin did dominate for the Patriots with a four-touchdown performance, and Franklin Parish had momentum on its side with a chance to win the game in regulation, but a pick-six by junior Keenen Green sealed Sterlington's victory.

For the first trading session of August 26th, the U.S. dollar is holding tight due to market anticipation of the July PCE inflation report as well as market forecasts of the first Fed Chairman Jackson Hole speech by Kevin Warsh. A more hawkish timing for a potential September rate pause by the Fed seems to be the more prevalent market opinion, with the July PCE inflation report likely to reinforce that opinion or counter it and push the market towards an additional rate hike. Collins, Boston Fed President, said during the week that interest rates will need to go up unless core inflation (which is currently hovering around 3.3%) shows a material decline.
Fiscal policy is also a looking constraining. While Treasury attempts to stabilize long term yields by expanding its existing bond buyback programs, practices to support aggressive Treasury borrowing, have come back into the spotlight and prompted some to ask whether there is a real threat of "fiscal dominance" for a central bank. That is a theme that will almost definitely be addressed at Jackson Hole along with inflation and Fed independence.
The Euro, on the other hand, has a clearer and more pressing monetary policy environment. ECB Executive Board member, Schnabel, said that current policy remains accommodative and that rates will need to be raised higher in order to return inflation to target in a sustainable manner. ThisW applies especially in the current environment with elevated energy prices and re-enforces market expectations for a September rate hike.
Sterling is one currency impacted by the current divergence in narrowing policies. Even while inflation in the UK remains unacceptably high, growth has surprised to the upside, leaving the market not pricing aggressive easing. However, strong labor market conditions makes fast hiking a policy option.
For 26 August, the primary FX theme is uncertainty in U.S. inflation and Fed Policy versus clearer expectations for Euro zone rates, with PCE and the Jackson Hole summary by Richard Clarida and John C. Williams, the likely new Fed Vice Chair, as the likely dominant topics.

What did Target, Starbucks, and Nike have in common barely a year ago? All three consumer icons had freshly announced new CEOs, which were wrongly greeted with hasty skepticism from ***** ysts. Target's Michael Fiddelke was scoffed at as an uninspired insider; Nike's Elliott Hill was underestimated as a nostalgia hire, unable to stem Nike's loss of market share, while questions abounded over whether Brian Niccol could actually turn around Starbucks amidst pervasive in-store service struggles, despite his sterling record at Chipotle.
We saw it differently. At the time of their appointments, we vocally and presciently touted all three new CEOs as the right person for the job at the right time, while other ***** ysts rolled their eyes. Unlike the frequent, sometime successful model of the messianic hiring of industry outsiders as turnaround tians, these new CEOs hit the ground running as each had decades of experience in their sectors with glowing track records, priceless relationships, and balanced expertise across marketing, finance, strategy, and operations,.
Furthermore, we were the first to confidently predict the certainty of their success, even knowing that it would take some time to reposition their enterprises and for their new leadership to gain traction. Now the receipts are in, showing striking progress in all three cases, with each already well on their way to cementing their reputations as the architects of some of the most remarkable corporate turnarounds of our era.
When Michael Fiddelke, a Target lifer who had risen up the ranks from a lowly intern over two decades ago, was named CEO, cynics sneered that the board had chosen entrenched groupthink over fresh blood. We argued precisely the opposite—that the data overwhelmingly shows internal candidates outperform splashy external saviors, with insider CEOs appointed over the prior year delivering roughly 15% annualized shareholder returns while external hires averaged negative 9%. New brooms sweep clean, but the old broom knows the corners. Furthermore, we argued that Fiddelke was uniquely positioned to build on the many successes of his widely admired predecessor, Brian Cornell, despite simultaneous urgent challenges.
This week brought resounding vindication. Target's second-quarter sales jumped 5.3%, digital sales grew nearly 9%, Target raised its full-year outlook for the second consecutive quarter, and the stock soared nearly 5%. Indeed, on a year to date basis, Target stock has soared nearly 60%.

With the focus of global investors shifting away from the short-term economy to long-term fiscal credibility, the US dollar started its day on August 24 on multi-month lows. Although Treasury Department's plan to double buybacks to the tune of $4 billion per operation on 10- to 30-year debt has eased concerns in some market circles, others are concerned that Washington intends to further suppress long-term borrowing via the deficit without remediation. U.S. 30-year yields are at 5.337%, last week's 19-year highs, and a slightly better than expected Services report on Friday did little to push the dollar higher. Investors are watching both Friday's speech by Fed Chair Kevin Warsh from Jackson Hole and July's inflation for more insight on the possible direction and duration of monetary policy.
Buyer perception is that the ECB will continue to adhere to the fight against inflation after the September opening of a 2.5% deposit rate. In the meantime, while the recovery in Europe is uneven, sentiment in the markets is that recent growth data and business activity support the push for further inflation focus against the backdrop of the Iran conflict.
Sterling is further supported by the comparative relationship with the dollar. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh rose to 2.9% in July, while second-quarter GDP increased by 0.4%. There were also declines in retail sales and an unexpected budget deficit by the government which has weakened prospects. With all of this in mind, the best case scenario is still limited. Most economists predict interest rates will stay the same for the remainder of 2022. That said, inflation is still expected to rise enough to prompt the Bank of England for at least one interest rate hike in 2026.
For August 24, the primary FX theme is increased uncertainty over U.S. fiscal policy and treated the dollar as being weak, while the risks of tightening by the ECB and BoE supported the euro and pound.
For the U.S. Dollar Index, the 4-hour chart shows a price currently at $98.89 after breaking the $99.38 support. The price is below the 50, and 100, period Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) confirming a bearish sentiment. The price has been attempting to stabilize in the range of $98.55 to $98.82, and has broken some support, but no major resistances have been established.

Wide receivers can be a little tricky in fantasy football. While you want to target players who are the No. 1 receiver on their team, it is not advised to draft a receiver who is the only target on the team.
That is why Houston Texans wide receiver Jayden Higgins' season-ending torn ACL may have actually hurt receiver Nico Collins' fantasy stock a little.
The top wide receivers in fantasy generally have another talented receiver paired with them. Ja'Marr Chase with the Cincinnati Bengals has Tee Higgins. Puka Nacua with the Los Angeles Rams has Davante Adams. Justin Jefferson with the Minnesota Vikings has Jordan Addison.
Collins had Higgins, but now there is a bigger gap between the No. 1 and No. 2 receiver on the roster.
Houston still has tight end Dalton Schultz, who was actually second on the Texans in receiving yards last year, so there are other targets defenders will have to deal with. However, since Higgins is now out for the season, it will be easier for opposing defenders to double-team Collins and Schultz since they will feel more comfortable leaving receivers like Xavier Hutchinson and newcomers Zay Jones and Sterling Shepard one-on-one.

The Houston Texans needed to make a move after losing Jayden Higgins for the 2026 season, but the team's initial response feels underwhelming. Houston is signing veteran NFL wide receivers Sterling Shepard and Zay Jones, but neither player looks capable of truly replacing what Higgins was expected to bring to this offense.
There is a reason why both of those players were unsigned in late August; they aren't good enough to be on NFL rosters. The Texans needed to do more than this to help C.J. Stroud and the rest of the offense.

Higgins wasn't simply another receiver on the Texans' roster. The second-year wideout was expected to take a major step forward and become an important part of the passing game alongside Nico Collins.

The Houston Texans received some devastating news a few days ago when they found out that wide receiver Jayden Higgins had torn his ACL during the Texans' joint practice with the Las Vegas Raiders and will be out for the season.
As a rookie, Higgins was a key part of Houston's offense last season. He played in all 17 games, finishing the season with 525 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Head coach DeMeco Ryans reacted to Higgins' injury after the Texans' preseason loss to the Raiders.
"Very unfortunate news with Jayden going down with the torn ACL," Ryans said. "He'll be out for the year here. It hurt. Jayden is a guy I've highlighted. I feel like every time I've gotten up and talked, I've highlighted Jayden Higgins because of the work he's done in OTAs, throughout Training Camp. He was one of our best players, if not arguably the best player on the field when he's been out there. It's a significant loss for us. We have a void to fill there. It won't be easy to fill the void that Jayden is leaving behind."
To address the void the loss of Higgins has left, the Texans signed wide receivers Zay Jones and Sterling Shepard. Jones had minimal action last season, only playing in eight games for the Arizona Cardinals and recording a total of 12 receptions, but he was also sidelined early with a torn Achilles.
Shepard saw a little more action with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, playing in a total of 13 games and starting two of those games.

Replacing Jayden Higgins is going to take a community effort.
The Houston Texans lost the second-year receiver to a torn ACL during a joint practice with the Las Vegas Raiders on Aug. 18, an injury that ends his season before it started. Feeling a little light in the receiver room, the Texans knew that some reinforcements would be required.
On Aug. 21, they made a pair of veteran additions in the form of Sterling Shepard and Zay Jones, according to multiple reports.
The team also worked out Josh Reynolds alongside the other two receivers, but the roster spots are going to Shepard and Jones for the time being. Both veterans will now be tasked with doing enough to earn a roster spot, even if time is running short on the preseason.
Houston has just one game left before the big roster cuts take place, meaning Shepard and Jones will have to make an impact in practice to earn a spot on the 53.

That's partly because she "came out of the womb singing," the 26-year-old actress quips during a recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter. "I just have literally never shut up. I've always sung since the second I was born. And my first word was my godfather's name, who is a piano player, and he taught me how to play the piano."

NEW YORK, Aug 19 (Reuters) - The dollar weakened against major currencies on Wednesday after the U.S. Treasury Department announced it plans to double liquidity support buyback operations for longer-dated bonds.
The euro rose 0.78% against the dollar to $1.16640, hitting its highest level in more than 2-1/2 months.
Sterling was 0.48% higher against the dollar at $1.3597, rising to its highest since May 11.
The announcement suggests an expansionary monetary policy and the availability of more dollars in the market, which is causing the U.S. currency to depreciate, said Juan Perez, director of trading at Monex USA.

AMSTERDAM, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Nebius Group said on Thursday its $5 billion convertible bond was one of the largest on record and reflected strong demand for AI services and data centre capacity, despite recent jitters over the sector's huge financing needs.
Amsterdam-based Nebius, which sells AI services to tech firms and data centre capacity to customers including Meta and Microsoft, raised the size from $4.5 billion late on Wednesday and the total could be increased to $5.75 billion if buyers exercise all options.
"We think it's one of the largest, and the largest in recent history, in the corporate convertible world," Nebius chief communications officer Tom Blackwell told Reuters, adding that the firm's total convertible debt is now around $12 billion.
Proceeds of the new offer, led by Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan, will be used to fund the company's data centre buildout and further develop its AI services offerings.

Browns defensive end Alex Wright was carted off the field with a lower-leg injury, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Browns coach Todd Monken said after practice he did not have an update on Wright.
Any absence by Wright into the regular season would hurt.
The Browns traded Myles Garrett this offseason, leaving a huge hole at the position. They were interested in Jadeveon Clowney, Za'Darius Smith and A.J. Epenesa, but none of them signed.
The team drafted Wright in the third round of the 2022 draft. He totaled 37 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss in 14 games last season.

SINGAPORE/LONDON, Aug 18 (Reuters) - The U.S. dollar rose slightly on Tuesday but remained near multi-month lows against its peers as traders reduced their bets on rate hikes, although the threat of an escalation in the Middle East war left sentiment fragile.
The euro eased away from two-month highs of $1.161 touched on Monday and was last little changed at $1.157.
Sterling was at $1.352, dipping 0.1% on weak UK labour market data, just shy of the three-month peak it hit in the previous session.
Data in the past few weeks have pointed to a softer U.S. economy, including unexpected job losses last month and mild inflation readings, leading investors to scale back expectations of a rate hike by the U.S. Federal Reserve.
