Aliyah Boston's night ended much earlier than expected Tuesday, but Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White offered an encouraging update after her team's 105-95 victory over the Seattle Storm.
Boston exited during the second quarter after tripping over Storm rookie Flau'jae Johnson and crashing knee-first into the court at Climate Pledge Arena. The four-time WNBA All-Star immediately winced in pain and needed help getting back to her feet before heading to the locker room. The Fever initially listed Boston as questionable to return, but she remained on the sideline throughout the second half.
White later suggested that Indiana held Boston out as a precaution, rather than because the center had been definitively ruled incapable of returning.
"No update other than, you know, wasn't really worth the risk for us in the second half," White told reporters. "Just want to be very conservative and make sure that she's good to go."

The Arizona Cardinals will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2026 regular season, and that means facing a much richer dominant defensive lineman. The Eagles agreed to a huge, four-year, $152 million contract extension with Jalen Carter. The deal is worth up to $160 million, meaning the potential for a $40 million per-year average.
In three NFL seasons, he has been a Pro Bowler twice and a second-team All-Pro once.
This is significant for the Cardinals because they have a promising young defensive tackle in Walter Nolen, who, in limited playing time as a rookie, looked dominant.
Nolen is not eligible for a contract extension until 2028, but if he is what the team and fans believe and hope he can be, it means he will be very expensive to extend. In two years, top young defensive tackles will certainly be averaging more than $40 million per year.
Now, worrying about that now is a little foolish, but it is something to watch, especially with Nolen's potential.

It is a sign of the times ... literally. Advertisements dominate our daily viewing more than we may realize. Depending on the day, the average person will see between 4,000 and 10,000 advertisements. Ohio State fans will be adding one more to that list, as it was announced earlier today that the Buckeye Athletic Department has entered into an agreement with Chase Bank and will wear a jersey patch on all of its uniforms. The reported agreement will give OSU another $17 million to play with per year.
As you can imagine, there were some passionate responses to seeing the scarlet and gray uniform become a walking billboard. Some see it as a necessary evil in today's name, image and likeness arms race, while others, holding tight to tradition, were not so forgiving. Some fan bases decided to get on their high horse only to find out their school made a similar deal just hours later. Love it or hate it, this is what collegiate sports are turning into.

"If you're driving under the influence I will never give you a pass," Acho explained. That serious comment lingered for barely a split second before everyone involved started laughing about an old viral video.

Four women have accused Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto, lead singer of rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars, of criminal ******* ual conduct, with incidents happening when they were minors, according to a BBC investigation that aired on Wednesday.
The BBC reveals the allegations in the documentary ******* led Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret. According to the documentary, ten women accuse Leto of misconduct, and nine of them share their stories for the first time.
According to the BBC, one of the women, referred to in the movie as 54-year-old Leto, claims that she was raped in a motel bathroom when she was 17. Another one says she was threatened with ******* ual abuse when she was 19. The third woman says that she had ******* with Leto in California when she was 17, just under the age of consent in the state of 18 years old. Leto is described as shrugging off the discussion of age of consent.
The fourth woman says Leto kept calling her over the phone with explicit ******* ual suggestions when she was 16, including at least once suggesting to have ******* . Another four women say they got strange phone calls with Leto on the other end, with ******* ual undertones, when they were young.

It was a back-and-forth affair for basically the entire game before the Liberty took a double-digit lead. The Sparks valiantly tried to make a comeback but fell short, 113-109.
