Devoted Swiftie Nikki Glaser admitted she was tempted to swipe a souvenir from Taylor Swift's wedding.
According to Us Weekly, which obtained audio of her residency at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Glaser spoke about being stunned to receive an invite to Swift and Travis Kelce's nuptials at Madison Square Garden.
"I want to say that I went to a wedding at Madison Square Garden three months ago," said Glaser. "I just want to talk about it a little bit. Allegedly — I actually can't say that I was there legally or else a sniper dot will appear on my forehead."
"I am a huge Swiftie, probably the biggest Swiftie that was at that event. If you're a Swiftie, you'll understand; I got the text inviting me to the wedding," the comedian continued. "I never thought in a million years I'd get invited. I don't even know them, but I got invited, and I'm shaking as I'm opening [the message]. I'm like, 'Oh my God, I want to tell everyone that I know.'"
After receiving a text invite months beforehand, Glaser carefully followed strict orders to keep all wedding details secret.

The NFL season is only a few weeks away, with the preseason in full swing. A new quest for Super Bowl LXI will begin as the Seattle Seahawks open the season as defending champions.
The league has recently been placed front and center in the world of sports gambling. Most notably, the NFL and the NCAA had to deal with the threat of lawsuits from former Cincinnati quarterback Brendan Sorsby, who sought to play professional football in 2026.
Now, the NFL continues to embrace its complicated relationship with sports betting. A recent report indicated that the league has struck a new deal with Fanatics Sportsbook to become an official sportsbook partner.
MORE: Roger Goodell has 'no doubt' there will be NFL teams outside the United States
"Fanatics has signed on as an official sportsbook of the NFL, breaking a logjam that left the sponsor category vacant for the league since multiyear deals with FanDuel, DraftKings, and Caesars expired at the end of March. The deal, expected to be announced before the start of the season, includes rights to promote across NFL-controlled media channels, allowing Fanatics to air spots during game broadcasts," Bill King of the Sports Business Journal reported.

Many of the New Orleans Saints starters will not be on the field in Saturday's preseason opener. Head coach Kellen Moore said "mostly no" when asked on Wednesday whether his starters would play against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Moore hasn't completely finalized those decisions, however. He wants to evaluate the roster after Thursday's joint practice with Jacksonville before determining exactly who will be available.
"Yeah, we'll get through this joint practice, and then we'll kind of see where our numbers are," Moore said. "But most of the starters are just going to get really good work in this joint practice, and then they won't play (on Saturday)."
Thursday's practice with the Jaguars allows Moore and his staff to control how much work their starters receive while still allowing them to compete against another team. It also limits the injury risk that comes with playing them in an exhibition game two days later.
Moore not officially declaring everybody out leaves open the possibility that a few starters could appear Saturday, depending on roster numbers and how the joint practice unfolds. Still, the game will largely serve as an evaluation opportunity for rookies, backups, and players who are on the bubble for the final spots on the Saints' 53-man roster.
The Saints host the Jaguars at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday inside the Caesars Superdome. It will be the first of three preseason games for New Orleans, and their only exhibition game at home before road trips with the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys.

Detroit — The NBA announced on Tuesday morning a tripleheader that will kick off the 2026-27 season on NBC and Peacock. As part of this event, the Detroit Pistons will begin their season and the league's schedule on Oct. 20, facing the Boston Celtics at Little Caesars Arena. The game is scheduled for tip-off at 3 p.m.
The game will feature the top two teams from the Eastern Conference last season. The Pistons finished with the top overall record at 60-22, while the Celtics finished second at 56-26. The Pistons and the Celtics had a close battle for the conference's top seed, but Detroit was able to maintain its distance after winning the four-game regular-season series 3-1.
The game will serve as the official debut for several new players, most notably Isaiah Joe, who was traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder in June. Other newcomers making their debut for the Pistons include John Collins, Elijah Harkless, Gary Harris and Taurean Prince. Additionally, first-round pick Ebuka Okorie — whom the Pistons traded up to select with the No. 16 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft — will also be making his official debut.
With six-time All-Star Jayson Tatum leading the way, the Celtics will debut a new look on the Pistons' home floor, with Paul George making his first appearance for the franchise following the blockbuster trade that sent former Finals MVP Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers in July. The 76ers will open their season inside Madison Square Garden, taking on the defending champion New York Knicks with a tip-off at 7 p.m.
After the 76ers-Knicks game, the league's opening day will conclude with a rematch of last year's Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs at the Frost Bank Center at 9:30 p.m.

Jalen Duren and the Detroit Pistons are trapped in a summer stalemate. Duren has made his demand. The Pistons have drawn a line.
Who will blink first?Â
Duren, 22, just turned in the best season of his young career, and the Pistons just had their best regular season in many years. If Duren stays and the Pistons move forward, the franchise has a bright future. But it appears both sides are far from seeing eye to eye.
âThereâs been zero progress,â NBA insider Siegel said, referring to the ongoing Duren saga in Detroit.â âThey donât view him as a max-level guy ⦠and thatâs why the situation is going to continue to drag on. Itâs gonna go on to late August, possibly early September, maybe even late September, and then past training camp ⦠Iâve heard nothing about sign-and-trades; the Pistons are not interested in that. And everybody I talk to says Jalen Duren is not going to be taking the qualifying offer.â

One of the greatest defensive players to ever touch the turf and perhaps the greatest defender in NFC South history, former Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly delivered a memorable speech during this year's Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony. A former divisional foe who made a living making life miserable for Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints offense, Kuechly didn't hesitate to take a subtle shot at the Saints while also sharing some genuine praise for his old rival.
As Kuechly paid his respects to the other inductees, he couldn't help but bring up Brees and former Saints head coach Sean Payton. After years of battling the Saints twice a season, Kuechly had a unique memory that had less to do with their on-field battles and more to do with the atmosphere inside the Caesars Superdome.
Kuechly spoke of a specific song that was played after Saints touchdowns that still gives him headaches to this day: "If I hear that song 'Stand Up and Get Crunk,' it ruins my mood. I can't stand it." It was a hilarious reminder of just how much the Caesars Superdome atmosphere could get under the skin of opposing players.
But Kuechly's playful jab at the Saints was quickly followed by some genuine praise for Brees, whom he considers the best player he ever faced: "Drew, you're the best player I've ever played against. Your process, your anticipation. That dang cadence that you have, I can still hear it and it's something that I'll keep with me forever."
Coming from a defender who spent his career lining up against some of the game's most talented offensive players, Kuechly's words were a tremendous compliment to Brees. Despite the rivalry and countless battles between the two, Kuechly made it clear that his respect for No. 9 went far beyond the football field.

Michigan basketball is set to add another blueblood to its schedule.
The Wolverines are in the process of finalizing a two-year deal with Louisville, a program source with knowledge of the plans confirmed to the Free Press. The plan is to play in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena this season, with a "return" trip to be played next season in Indianapolis.
This season's game could potentially be played Dec. 5, though the teams are still finalizing the dates.
This appears to be an ACC replacement for a matchup with Duke in December. That game against the Blue Devils was nixed after being originally scheduled for New York then Miami.
It's yet another big-time name Michigan will play in a schedule that already includes an exhibition against Houston, and nonconference games against UConn (in a rematch of April's national championship game), Villanova and Marquette. That's in addition to the Wolverines' participation in the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas over Thanksgiving week; U-M's slate in that tourney features an opener vs. Creighton followed by a Day 2 matchup with either Miami (Florida) or TCU and a third game against Gonzaga, Kansas State, Baylor or Alabama.

Detroit — Day 2 of USA Hockey's Summer Showcase practice camp saw a pair of Red Wings draft picks flank a top 2027 draft prospect, and the trio turned some heads.
Detroit draftees J.P. Hurlbert and Victor Plante played with 2027 draft-eligible Sammy Nelson and looked like a strong group as Team USA evaluates a 48-player group contending for December's 25-man World Junior roster.
Hurlbert and Plante, drafted by the Red Wings in the first and second rounds, respectively, last month in Buffalo, bring strong offensive toolkits to the grouping. Nelson dominated drills at both ends of the ice at Little Caesars Arena's Belfor training center. The group played with an attacking mindset, and that meshed well with the identity Team USA is preaching at this early camp.
"There's a lot of good players out there, and it's going to be competitive to make the team for sure," said USA coach Adam Nightingale, the head coach at Michigan State.
"But definitely, some guys you can tell are starting to step off the page a little bit."

Kelly Clarkson explained on the first night of her Las Vegas residency that she won't miss human resources meetings after ending her talk show.
The American Idol alum announced in February that The Kelly Clarkson Show would end in the fall.
Clarkson joked that, for example, she wanted to compliment someone when they'd lost weight.
Kelly Clarkson kicked off her latest Last Vegas residency by rejoicing that she had left her talk show — and all that comes with it, like human resources meetings.
"They say dumb s---," Clarkson said Friday during her Caesars Palace Vegas show before laughing. "Like, you can't comment if someone's lost weight, and I'm like, ****** ! You better write a memo. You better write a memo about it, a song about it. I just think that's so dumb. It makes people feel good when you say, 'Oh, you look really good.' And then people are like, 'No, because that means you thought they did look really bad.'"

The Wolverines began last season’s national championship campaign with a home game against the Golden Grizzlies.
The two teams are going to run it back again — same date, same place.
Michigan will kick off its national ******* le defense and the Mike Boynton Jr. era by hosting Oakland in the 2026-27 season opener on Nov. 3 at Crisler Center, according to a signed game contract obtained by The Detroit News through a Freedom of Information Act request.
This marks the third consecutive year the two in-state programs will square off. Two seasons ago, Michigan beat Oakland in a charity exhibition at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Last season, the Wolverines dominated in a 121-78 rout in Ann Arbor.
Overall, it’ll be the 11th all-time meeting between the two programs during the regular season. Michigan holds a 9-1 edge in the series, has won the past eight matchups and is 7-0 in games played at Crisler Center, though Oakland nearly pulled off the upset in an overtime loss in Ann Arbor in November 2020.

Here's 1 bucket-list item athletes cross off at the American Century Championship that's not golf originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Stateline, NV – It goes without saying that the American Century Championship has become more than a celebrity golf tournament for the Lake Tahoe region. Celebrities and spectators bring friends and family to South Lake Tahoe, California, Stateline, Nevada, and the surrounding areas to enjoy concerts at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort and various festivities outside the Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel.
The event began today and runs through Sunday, July 12, on NBC, the NBC Sports Network, and Peacock. You can follow the action on the ACC App on the App Store and on Google Play.
For the 2026 American Century Championship, I got the chance to experience one of the main bucket-list items that the celebrity athletes get to cross off during their stay in the Lake Tahoe region every second weekend of July.
I got the chance to ride the MasterCraft XT24, a 24-foot crossover boat built for wakesurfing, wakeboarding, and unforgettable adventures, on Friday. Aaron Rodgers, Miles Teller, Colin Jost, and 2025 American Century Championship winner Joe Pavelski were some of the names who have enjoyed MasterCraft's array of luxury boats on Lake Tahoe.

Larry Fitzgerald sends a clear message on Pitt QB Mason Heintschel (and an unclear message on Vikings QB Kyler Murray) originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Stateline, NV – At the Caesars Celebrity Pro Am on Thursday at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort, one day before the start of the 2026 American Century Championship (July 10-12 on NBC, NBC Sports Network, and Peacock), I got the chance to ask Larry Fitzgerald about two quarterbacks he knows well.
One is the current QB1 at his alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh, Mason Heintschel. The former 3-star Clay (OR) recruit stepped in for Eli Holstein during his freshman season in 2025 and became the Panthers’ full-time starter by the end of the year.
The other is Kyler Murray, with whom Fitzgerald played during his final two seasons on the Arizona Cardinals and the last two years of his NFL career. Murray is now a member of the Minnesota Vikings, who the Minneapolis native Fitzgerald cheered for growing up. Murray is competing with former national championship-winning Michigan Wolverines QB J.J. McCarthy for the Vikings’ starting job this summer.
On how Mason Heintschel can avoid a sophomore slump and continue on an upward trajectory…

Two-time American Century Championship winner Jack Wagner talks tournament growth, his remaining ACC goals originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Stateline, NV – Jack Wagner has won the American Century Championship twice, in 2006 and 2011. Ahead of the 2026 American Century Championship, I got a chance to speak to the former General Hospital star at the Caesars Celebrity Pro AM Golf Tournament on Wednesday. I asked what his remaining goals were besides being the third three-time winner, along with former NFL quarterback Tony Romo and former MLB ace Mark Mulder.
Wagner simply wants to be part of the 85-plus celebrity field for NBC's annual celebrity golf tournament moving forward. He also wants to continue proving he has plenty left in the tank at 66 years old.
"So every year, I'm really, really grateful to get the invite," Wagner said. "If I can be competitive, I'm 66 years old…That's my goal. As you get older, you lose that grind part; you think you have it, but you don't. That's my goal, to keep my grind up this year."
In speaking to the tournament's growth, Wagner explained why the event is one of a kind for the celebrities and fans.

The Miz reveals 1 WWE star who's honing his golf game and staying prepared for an American Century Championship bid originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Stateline, NV – In anticipation of the 2026 American Century Championship this weekend, I got the chance to speak with WWE superstar The Miz at The Caesars Celebrity Pro-Am in Stateline, Nevada, on Wednesday. The Miz will be one of 90 celebrities taking part in NBC's annual celebrity golf tournament at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort from Friday to Sunday (July 10-12). The tournament will air on NBC, the NBC Sports Network, and Peacock.
With The Miz playing in the tournament for the fifth time, I asked him about which WWE superstar could potentially join him in the field one day. I first asked about Trick Williams, who The Miz was teammates with during the "Squad Games" event, competing against the Dude Perfect group, along with Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Je'Von Evans. Williams was a receiver for the South Carolina Gamecocks and was a standout athlete during the "Squad Games," like The Miz.
The Awesome One isn't so sure Trick Willie and his Lemon Pepper Steppers could hang on the golf course with the ACC field, though.
"I don't know if he could play golf that well. I don't think he plays golf on the regular, and I feel like to be here, you need to play golf on the regular. You really do. In the ring, he's unstoppable. Unbelievable. I mean, he has literally been one of the superstars that, of the up-and-coming superstars, that you go, 'That guy's gonna be a star. He's got it.' He has it all. For sure. On the golf course, not sure," The Miz said.
