With only a walkthrough practice, Miller was estimated as a non-participant with a knee injury. However, the rookie right tackle spoke with the media after practice and sounded more optimistic about his chances of playing due to progress already made on Monday.
"I'm doing everything I humanly can to get my body feeling the best it can feel. Even with the progress just today that I've made, I'm happy, and I'm optimistic," Miller said.

The Diamondbacks claimed outfielder Jesus Sanchez off waivers on Monday, Sept. 14, adding another left-handed bat to a position-player group that has struggled against right-handed pitching.
Sanchez, who is expected to join the team on Tuesday, Sept. 15, will not be eligible for the postseason, but general manager Mike Hazen said the club is looking to jump-start the offense against righties.
"It's been an area of struggle for us this year, and most of the internal guys that we have to call up, they're all right-handed," Hazen said. "I think the additions of Pavin (Smith) and now Jesus are a way for us to try to spark the offense a little bit from the left-handed side.
"We face all righties all the way through, pretty much, projecting it out — unless something changes — and so we're looking for any sparks that we can get."

The San Francisco Giants have endured the bad, the worse and the ugly throughout a 2026 campaign that started with high hopes and landed with bleak realities.
The Giants have been among the most disappointing teams in Major League Baseball this season. There was optimism in San Francisco when the team brought in first-year manager Tony Vitello from the college ranks with no previous MLB experience. Many experts predicted that the Giants would win 82 games and maybe even sneak into a wild-card berth. It would have been the most success the team has seen in nearly a half decade.
Then the season began and things shifted immediately. San Francisco isn't anywhere near discussions of making a postseason appearance. Instead, the Giants have the second-worst record in the National League (only the division-rival Colorado Rockies have a worse record).
The Giants haven't had the play they were expecting on the diamond. The Giants lacked depth in the bullpen, dealt with a series of injuries which contorted lineups, and key players just looked like a shell of themselves through large parts of the season. Vitello has been ejected from multiple games this season. Frustration has settled in San Francisco like fog covering the Golden Gate Bridge.
It's since seemed like a salvageable season after seeing younger prospects such as Bryce Eldridge see the field more. After a sluggish start, Rafael Devers found his bat as of late and is nearing a 40-homer season. One of the 26 fighters competing Saturday at UFC 331 will walk away with an extra $50,000 in their pocket.
UFC CEO Dana White announced on Monday there will be a special bonus in play during the event in Los Angeles. In honor of hit Paramont+ series "MobLand", there will be an extra bonus. That will be on top of the regular four $100,000 Fight Night bonuses – Fight of the Night (which is earned by two fighters in the most exciting bout), and two individual Performance of the Night awards.
White didn't reveal the exact criteria for the bonus or what exactly he'll be looking for, but he did name it the "proper chaos bonus" and said it'll be up to him to determine the winner.
"Long before I did a deal with Paramount, I've been telling you guys I'm a huge fan of 'Mobland,'" White said Monday in an Instagram video. "It is one of the best shows on television. Season two premieres this Friday on Paramount+, the night before UFC 331 in LA. So for one night only, we're bringing a little proper chaos into the octagon. At UFC 331, we are unlocking the proper chaos bonus. $50,000 awarded to the fighter who I think deserves it most. UFC 331, Van vs. Pantoja is live September 19th on Paramount+, and do not forget season two, premieres this Friday. Mobland, one of the best shows on television. It was difficult for Alex Bowman to hold back his emotions after Sunday's Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway. The driver of the No. 48 turned in his best performance of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season, placing runner-up to Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson.
The strong run at Gateway meant a little more to Bowman. Just prior to Sunday's race, Bowman revealed that his dog, Finn, who he called his best friend, sadly passed away. As the Arizona native reflected on his top-five performance at Gateway, he fought back tears in what has been an emotional weekend.
One day prior to Sunday's Enjoy Illinois 300 at WWT Raceway, Bowman took to social media to announce the heartbreaking passing of his dog.
"I don't know how to say this out loud, but last night I lost my best friend. You only get a dog like Finn once in a lifetime. He was just the best," he wrote.

A few weeks ago, I used Uber Eats to deliver me a case of bottled water, a dozen Starbucks iced coffee bottles, and a 12-pack of Gatorade Zero.
It cost a little more than going to the store less than two miles from our house, but instead of having to lug those bulky items from the store to my car and then my kitchen, I only had to bring them in from the front door.
That was either a lazy choice or evidence of excellent time management skills, but it's a solid example of how people use the internet. Because while people generally think it's much higher (I've asked the question to thousands of people on various podcasts and live shows over the years), digital sales are still a relatively small percentage of total retail sales.
"E-commerce sales in the second quarter of 2026 accounted for 17.1 percent of total sales," United States Census Bureau data showed.
Consumers have shifted some of their purchases online, and they're looking for convenience.

Comedian Bill Maher called Democratic politicians "cowards" while doubling down on his stance that the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers were not — a position that infamously led to ABC canceling his show more than two decades ago.
In a segment on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" Friday, the comedian reaffirmed his opinion that "the terrorists weren't cowards" which he initially said after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
"I know a guy whose show got canceled just for saying the terrorists weren't cowards. And that guy was right. They weren't cowards, but I'll tell you who is: Democratic Party politicians," Maher said.
He added that this "moral confusion" within the party is most notable when talking about "a place called Gaza."
"A little strip of land that was not part of the original Israel, but which they won in a war launched against them, but then gave back as a peace gesture," he said.

HONG KONG, Sept 14 (Reuters) - The Himalayas are approaching a tipping point as glaciers melt faster than a decade ago, threatening water security as the region approaches "peak water" by mid-century, according to a study released this month.
The findings come after the collapse of a Himalayan glacier in late August along the Nepal-Tibet border, which caused cascading landslides and flash floods in the valleys below. At least 1,300 people have been confirmed dead and more than 5,300 are missing across Nepal and China's Tibet region.
As glaciers retreat, they are leaving behind unstable glacial lakes held back by little more than loose rock and ice, above valleys where millions of people live, the study found.
The study was produced by Systemiq, a sustainability advisory firm, together with the Integrated Mountain Initiative, the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, and India's G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment.
Himalayan glacier mass loss had accelerated in recent decades, while only 21 glaciers were currently monitored on the ground out of an estimated 40,000 glaciers across the Hindu Kush-Himalaya region, a vast mountain system spanning eight countries from Afghanistan to Myanmar, the study found.

While he had 274 passing yards and two touchdowns, he also had two fumbles, including one on the final drive that doomed the Houston Texans in their opener against the Buffalo Bills.
Stroud is already focusing on turning the page to Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
"It's part of the NFL," Stroud said. "You have to be able to learn from your mistakes and then go onto the next week and try to get a win. We have a tough Bengals team coming in here. They're really good. We have to be on our P's and Q's, try to win that game. We'll fix our issues by tonight and tomorrow, turn the page and keep moving forward. One thing that DeMeco [Ryans] said in the locker room that I agree with is, we're going to keep our chins high and our chests poked out. We did a lot of positive things, do we wish we won it? Yes. But at the end of the day it's a long season.
