Alluvium **** et Management, an **** et management company, released its "Conventum – Alluvium Global Fund" second-quarter 2026 investor letter. The letter can be downloaded here. The second quarter reflected a sharp shift from geopolitical uncertainty and oil market volatility to a powerful equity rally led by semiconductor companies. Despite the broader market strength, the Fund declined 1.4% in EUR terms, 2.2% in USD terms, and 3.9% in AUD terms. Portfolio results were mixed, with Alphabet benefiting from strong Cloud growth, while Robert Half, H&R Block and other holdings posted solid gains. However, cable businesses and several healthcare and consumer holdings weighed on performance. Also, check the fund's top five holdings to see its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Conventum – Alluvium Global Fund highlighted Liberty Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:GLIBK). Liberty Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:GLIBK) is a communication services company that provides a range of data, wireless, video, voice, and managed services. GCI Liberty, Inc. rebranded to Liberty Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:GLIBK) in May 2026. On September 15, 2026, Liberty Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:GLIBK) closed at $25.55 per share. Over the past month, Liberty Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:GLIBK) declined 1.50% and its shares lost 27.02% over the past 52 weeks. Liberty Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:GLIBK) has a market capitalization of $1.02 billion, and its stock trades within a 52-week range of $19.30 and $41.18.
Conventum – Alluvium Global Fund stated the following regarding Liberty Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:GLIBK) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"GCI Liberty, the Alaskan cable business that was spun out of Liberty Broadband, has been renamed Liberty Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:GLIBK) (to reflect a future which is expected to include a broader array of businesses, and with its legacy GCI Alaska cable business being the solid "cash cow"). It fell 40.6%. There was plenty of news. Most notable was its USD 360m acquisition of Quintillion, which owns around 3,000 kilometres of fibre cable and plans to expand it by a further 2,500 kilometres or so. This perfectly aligns with Liberty's GCI operations. We understand Quintillion generates around USD 55-60m in revenue and USD 30m in free cash. We would expect significant synergies (reportedly around USD 20m) so we have little doubt that the deal adds value. And in fact, when we incorporate it into our model, the valuation uplift is around 35%. Management also decided to retreat from the competitive and low margin video business. And finally, Liberty Capital had intended to acquire an interest in Liberty Latin America by striking a deal for an initial 6% stake and building on that by buying John Malone's interest. For some reason this did not proceed which perhaps spooked the market. With the share price falling (to levels approximating half our valuation), and encouraged by its CEO buying shares, we increased our

Robert Kiyosaki isn't pulling punches this time. The "Rich Dad Poor Dad" author said on X early Tuesday that the "biggest crash in history has started," pointing to turbulence in Europe and ***** an as the opening act of a global downturn he says he predicted more than two decades ago.
Kiyosaki tied his warning to his 2002 book, "Rich Dad's Prophecy," which he said was written to help people "profit and not be victims" of a massive stock and bond market collapse.
He argues that the crash is now unfolding in 2026, driven by a mix of AI mania, geopolitical tensions including the war in Iran, excessive debt levels, and the retirement of the Baby Boom generation.
"In 2026, that crash started, in Europe and ***** an and is spreading across the world. It's caused by many factors, the AI frenzy, war in Iran, too much debt, and a retiring Baby Boom generation," he wrote on X.
For investors with 401(k)s, IRAs, or similar retirement accounts, especially those over 40, the message is stark: you may be in trouble unless you act.

Claire Danes attended the 2026 Emmy Awards as a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her performance in The Beast in Me.

I had an overwhelming feeling that her platinum-silver silk-satin Armani Privé one-shoulder gown, with micro-crystal embroidery along the lining, was inspired by the archives. The silhouette and futuristic feel immediately took me back to Mr Armani's Spring 2011 collection, but the design is actually based on a Silvana Armani gown from the Fall 2026 collection.
Should Claire have worn the stunning burgundy runway version?
As much as I adore that rich hue and the velvet fabric, I think Claire made the right choice. The silver feels better suited to both the occasion and her red carpet style, while still retaining everything that made the original design so striking.

Maybe it's a me thing, but I've been craving the thrill and suspense of an award show. Luckily, tonight is the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, where NBC's Law & Order star Mariska Hargitay is hosting live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. As a self-proclaimed binge-watcher, I'm all caught up on tonight's nominees, led by The Pitt with 25 nominations and Hacks at 24, breaking the record for a comedy series to date. But it's not just the potential winners getting buzz; it's the red carpet arrivals, too.
We're tuning in to see which designers tonight's attendees are wearing and get a glimpse of which trends will define 2027—or, in this case, which controversial trends. Shailene Woodley, who won her first Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Hulu's Paradise last week, arrived on tonight's red carpet in a look from Pierpaolo Piccioli's Balenciaga F/W 26 haute couture collection.
The trend in question? Sequin-embroidered trousers. Woodley wore the divisive pants with their runway pairing, a plunging periwinkle tank, but traded the oversize coat for a pair of burgundy opera gloves. Woodley's stylist, Karla Welch, introduced more color with a beautiful collared necklace crafted from Venetian glass by HOWL. The flooded hem hides Woodley's, I ***** ume, very tall heels.

Hosted by Mariska Hargitay and live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards welcomed over 20 first-time nominees, including Chase Infiniti for The Testaments, Hacks star Megan Stalter, Sarah Pidgeon for FX's Love Story, and Carey Mulligan, who is up for two Emmy nominations for her role as Lindsay Crane-Martín in Netflix's Beef.
Mulligan attended tonight's ceremony in a dress designed by everyone's favorite minimalist duo, the Olsen twins. And yet, despite The Row's restrained approach to fashion, Mulligan's resort 27 dress is anything but. It's colorful. It's playful. It's eye-catching. The sky-blue strapless dress teases a reveal of a stark-white underpinning at the neckline, overlayed with patterned embroidery. Mulligan wore for minimal jewelry—no necklace, opting instead for stunning diamond stud earrings and a pearl ring.
The back of the dress features a deconstructed bow that drapes down to meet the hem, where a pair of pointed-toe heels peek out from underneath. See the entirety of Mulligan's look below.

Back in April, Morgan Stanley had highlighted how accelerating Agentic AI demand could boost demand for central processing units (CPUs) beyond the graphic chips that have dominated the AI theme so far.
"As AI transitions from generation to autonomous action, the computing bottleneck is shifting towards CPU and memory, driving a step-change in general-purpose compute intensity."
The firm estimated that agentic AI could add $32.5–60 billion to a data-center CPU market already exceeding $100 billion by 2030.
Piper Sandler now backs this claim, ******* erting that Agentic AI is driving demand for Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC)'s CPU server products amid limited supply. On September 9, Piper Sandler ******* yst David O'Connor initiated coverage on Intel with a Neutral rating and a $110 price target.

Serve Robotics (SERV) shares have tumbled roughly 20% since the autonomous delivery company lowered its 2026 revenue guidance on Aug. 6. The cut came despite quarterly revenue surging 404% year-over-year (YOY). Serve Robotics also said it may not renew its foundational partnership with Uber (UBER) after it expires in early 2027. The development follows Serve's first decline in Uber Eats delivery volume in 17 consecutive quarters. However, Serve has $240 million in cash and is intentionally expanding into DoorDash (DASH), healthcare robotics, and advertising. The debate now is whether the reset reflects deeper trouble or a strategic effort to diversify beyond a weakening partnership.
Investors should also look closely at the short interest number when it comes to SERV stock. Serve Robotics has a short percentage of float of 31.3%. That's an extremely high number for any company but also brings with it an opportunity — namely, a potential short squeeze. For that to happen, though, there needs to be some retail interest in SERV stock.

Travis Kelce passed Jason Witten on Monday night, thanks largely to a massive catch he brought down during the Kansas City Chiefs' season-opening win over the Denver Broncos.
Kelce caught a short pass from Patrick Mahomes midway through the third quarter of their 31-10 win at Arrowhead Stadium, and absolutely took off as fast as he could. After shedding one tackle, he had so much room to work with that he nearly made it all the way to the end zone. Finally, he was brought down inside the 5 yard line.
Naturally, Kelce was hyped.
The 36-year-old, who is listed at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, nearly hit 17 mph at his peak during that run, too. In total, Kelce made it 59 yards on that catch. That eventually led to a field goal, which put the Chiefs up 24-10 at the time.
They added one more touchdown and rolled the rest of the way to secure the 21-point win.

Could Tamin Lipsey return to Iowa State for another season of college basketball?
The standout point guard has joined a growing list of athletes who are suing the NCAA with hopes of gaining an additional fifth year of eligibility. Court documents indicate Lipsey may return to the Cyclones if given a chance.
Lipsey was among a batch of approximately 90 athletes who entered a class-action lawsuit filed in the state of Indiana against the NCAA. Across the country, many athletes in various sports are suing the NCAA in an effort to get a fifth year of eligibility.
In June, the NCAA Division I Cabinet unanimously approved a new five-year, age-based eligibility model, also known as the "five-for-five rule," which went into effect starting with the 2026-27 academic year. The new rule provides student-athletes across all sports with five years of eligibility over five seasons.
Under the new guidelines, each player's eligibility clock begins upon initial full-time college enrollment or at the beginning of the academic year following the athlete's 19th birthday, whichever occurs first. The "five-for-five rule" pertained to those enrolled in colleges for the 2026-27 school year. So those who concluded their collegiate careers in 2026, particularly high school athletes who graduated in 2022 and played four years of college without redshirting, were initially not included by the NCAA's new ruling.

A'ja Wilson and Aces could steal No. 2 seed during final WNBA week originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The most dangerous team entering the WNBA playoffs may not be the one sitting atop the standings. Las Vegas returns from the World Cup break with a 27-13 record and a three-game winning streak. The Aces currently occupy the No. 3 seed, but a favorable closing schedule gives them a legitimate opportunity to pass Golden State for second.
Las Vegas trails the Valkyries by two games with four remaining. The Aces own the head-to-head tiebreaker after sweeping their three regular-season meetings with Golden State.
If Las Vegas gains two games during the final week, it would move into the No. 2 seed. The Aces will not face another playoff team before the postseason begins.
They play consecutive games against Seattle, beginning Thursday at Climate Pledge Arena and continuing Sunday in Las Vegas. The Aces then host Los Angeles before completing the regular season at Phoenix.

Aaron Judge hit his first home run in nearly four months … and it highlighted a night in which the New York Yankees secured a postseason berth.
Judge, who missed three months of the 2026 season with a fractured rib, hit a three-run home run off of Minnesota Twins left-hander A.J. Minter in the eighth inning of an 8-3 win on Monday, Sept. 14. It was Judge's first round-tripper since May 24 against the Tampa Bay Rays. Judge now has 18 home runs in 65 games played this season.
Since his return to the Yankees' lineup on Sept. 8, Judge had gone 3-for-17 in five games played before clobbering a cutter from Minter into the third deck at Target Field in Minneapolis on Monday.
The Yankees entered Monday needing a win over the Twins or loss by the Toronto Blue Jays against the Detroit Tigers to clinch at least a wild card berth. Detroit closed out a 6-5 win moments before the Yankees defeated the Twins, making the Yankees the second American League team to secure a playoff spot.
Judge said the injury traced back to a diving play in Houston in late April. He played through rib and shoulder discomfort for about a month before the team finally shut him down May 31. He was hitting .248 through 59 games at the time – a career worst – with 17 home runs and 38 RBIs.

Canadian heavyweight icon George Chuvalo, potentially the toughest man to ever live, passed this weekend on his 89th birthday after a lengthy battle with dementia.
Chuvalo fought 93 times in 22 years as a professional, sharing the ring with icons like Floyd Patterson, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, and Muhammad Ali without ever once hitting the canvas. A multiple-time national champion, he twice challenged for world **** les, falling short against Ernie Terrell in 1965 and the aforementioned Ali a year later. His career highlights include his 1965 Ring Magazine Fight of the Year against Patterson and a 1969 knockout of Jerry Quarry.
Deeply beloved in his home country, Chuvalo suffered unimaginable tragedy in his personal life, losing two children to heroin addiction while both a third and his wife committed suicide. Despite this, he remained by all accounts a delightful and gregarious figure, a prolific anti-drug advocate and namesake of a community center that supports LGBTQ and other youth in his hometown of Toronto.
Sadly, accumulated damage led to Chuvalo developing dementia, for which he received care in the final years of his life.
Though he never won a world **** le or punched his ticket to the Hall of Fame, Chuvalo deserves recognition for both his extraordinary durability and his status as a genuinely good man in a sport that, at times, can feel dishearteningly short on them. Rest easy, George.

CINCINNATI (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers marked their record-tying 14th consecutive trip to MLB's postseason with a toast of bubbly after Monday night's 4-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.
The bigger celebrations will come later.
"It's hard to say it ever feels routine, but it is the expectation here," third baseman Max Muncy said. "I always laugh whenever we clinch a postseason spot, we just do a nice little toast. The guys that haven't been here, they kind of see that and they expect a little bit more. That happens when you clinch the division."
The two-time defending World Series champions, who joined Milwaukee and Tampa Bay as teams who have secured playoff spots, cut their magic number to three for a fifth straight NL West ****** le and 13th in 14 seasons.
Los Angeles tied the Atlanta Braves' postseason run from 1991 through 2005. The Braves made five World Series trips during that span, but won only in 1995.

WASHINGTON, Sept 14 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's public approval rating rose from a record low, while Americans voiced growing support for Democrats gaining power in the U.S. Congress in a Reuters/Ipsos poll taken in the days after the Republican Party's first-ever midterm convention last week.
The four-day poll showed 63% of Americans - including four in 10 Republicans and nine in 10 Democrats - disapproved of Trump's offer made in his convention speech that he would ensure all Americans get a $5,000 dividend if Republicans retain control of the U.S. Congress in November's midterm elections.
The survey gathered responses from 1,143 Americans nationwide and had a margin of error of 3 percentage points in either direction.
Some 35% of Americans give Trump a thumbs up for his performance in the White House, up from 33% in an August 28 to 31 Reuters/Ipsos poll, the lowest of his political career.

Packers news: Green Bay signs long-time WR to active roster appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Green Bay Packers made a move to bolster their wide receiver room on Monday, bringing up a familiar face from coach Matt LaFleur's team's practice squad. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Green Bay has called up receiver Bo Melton to the team's active 53-man roster. Melton has experimented at cornerback in the past and will join the Packers as a wide receiver.
Melton was drafted in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks and was briefly compared to Jaguars star Travis Hunter for his two-way play. He was signed off the Seahawks' practice squad in 2022 and has stuck with Green Bay as a backup. Melton had his best season that year with 16 catches for 218 yards and a touchdown. He has 29 receptions for 426 yards and two touchdowns in his Packers career.
Melton will join a team that is still reeling from a 39-22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1. Green Bay failed to live up to LaFleur's standards against the Vikings and will soon look to rebound in a road game on September 20 against the New York Jets. LaFleur is squarely on the hot seat in some circles, and a loss to the Jets would start to make it feel even more uncomfortable.

Sep. 14—Gonzaga released its women's basketball nonconference schedule Monday for the 2026-27 season, and it shapes up as possibly the most challenging out-of-conference slate the Zags have had under coach Lisa Fortier.
Fortier begins her 13th season with a nonconference schedule that features six teams that finished in the top 100 of the NET last season with four teams earning NCAA Tournament berths.
Gonzaga's three most attractive nonconference dates are road games — at Stanford (Nov. 15), at Arizona State (Dec. 6) and a men's/women's multi-event doubleheader vs. Michigan State (Dec. 19), the Acrisure Challenge, in Palm Desert, California.
Eight of 15 nonconference games are at McCarthey Athletic Center. Gonzaga was going to have a 16th nonconference game — the maximum allowed with 16 conference games — but a third opponent in the North Shore Classic in Hawaii — Gonzaga's holiday tournament this year — pulled out last minute.
Whether Gonzaga lands a one-off additional nonconference game remains to be seen.

Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil sued Columbia University on Monday, alleging it failed to address harassment against him and other members of a pro-Palestinian campus group and retaliated against them when they reported it.
The university's "deliberate indifference" led to the doxing of multiple group members and Khalil's detention by immigration agents, according to the civil rights lawsuit filed in federal court in New York City.
At a news conference announcing the lawsuit, Khalil accused the university of "discrimination aimed at intimidating Palestinian students."
"We are suing because no student, regardless of their background, should go through the **** that Columbia put us through over all these years," he said.
The university declined to comment on the lawsuit, but said in an email that "creating a campus environment where every member of our community feels welcome, supported, and safe is fundamental to who we are as a University."

Heat news: Giannis, Bam Adebayo working out as teammates is a big Miami flex appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The world is yet to find out just what kind of havoc the tandem of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo can wreak on the basketball court together as Miami Heat teammates. But the rest of the NBA has a clear reason to be scared of the duo, which is already building chemistry on the court.
Miami recently shared a video showing the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Antetokounmpo and Adebayo going down to work in the gym together.
The Heat pulle off the biggest trade of the NBA offseason, as they won the Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes. They sent a huge package composed of Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakučionis, the No. 13 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, a couple of future first-round picks, a pick swap and a future second-rounder to the Milwaukee Bucks in July in order to acquire Antetokounmpo and veteran power forward Bobby Portis.
"The Greek Freak" will turn 32 years old in December, but he is very much still at the top of his game. In what turned out to be his final season with the Bucks, the 10-time NBA All-Star averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.4 ***** ists, while shooting 62.4 percent from the field. He only played in 36 games as he was limited by injuries, but he's healthy now and should be out on the court when the Heat make their 2026-27 NBA season debut.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane (wrist) suffered fractured wrist in the Week 1 game against the Indianapolis Colts, and he is expected to miss several weeks.
Lane was to have an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury, and a timetable would then be set for his return. Test results are still pending. He managed one reception for 11 yards on three targets before he was knocked from the game.
SOURCE: RavensWire - Glenn Erby
Why it Matters: With Lane sidelined, and Zay Flowers leaving the game early due to a hamstring injury, the Ravens were down to Rashod Bateman, Chris Moore and LaJohntay Wester as the only healthy receivers Sunday. Devontez Walker was sidelined due to a groin injury, but he could play in Week 2, and rookie fourth-round pick Elijah Sarratt is also a possibility. He was a healthy inactive.

Texas football news: Arch Manning can't hide reaction to Rowe-Sarkisian question appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Texas took a massive victory over Ohio State on Saturday. They were down 20 points heading into the fourth quarter, but Arch Manning led Texas to the comeback, putting up 21 points in the fourth quarter. After the game, Texas coach Steve Sarkisian was too excited to celebrate to even talk to Holly Rowe in the postgame interview.
The internet had its way with the interaction between Rowe and Sarkisian after the game. The initial interaction between Rowe and Sarkisian was very brief, with Sark throwing up the hook 'em horns sign and leaving quickly.
Then AI had its way, making a video of Sark slapping Rowe instead of just walking away. Now, Arch Manning is talking about the AI edits, per Evan Vieth of Inside Texas.
"I've seen a few AI edits of stuff, but that's about it. I saw the AI edit of Sark's interview. You all seen that one? That's a good one. Of him slapping Holly Rowe? Yeah, it's hilarious," Manning said.

Zane Smith escaped with no serious injuries following a violent crash in Sunday's Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway. The driver of the No. 38 suffered a brake failure in the closing laps of Stage 2, causing him to spin out and slam driver's side first into the outside retaining wall in turn 1.
As Smith climbed from his car, it was evident he was in pain. The 27-year-old was slow to get out of his battered Front Row Motorsports Ford and was leaning on two NASCAR safety workers as they helped him into the ambulance to take him to the infield care center.
Thankfully, Smith took to social media on Monday with a positive update on his condition.
Immediately after Smith careened with the outside wall following the brake failure, his spotter, Ryan Blanchard, tried to summon his driver over the radio to check on his condition.
"We lost brakes here. Let me know if you're OK. Really big hit. Talk to me when you can, please. Let me know if you're OK," he said.

For a quick reminder of what makes a team with the oldest lineup in the majors the continued favorite to win a third straight World Series – even with one unicorn tied behind its back – take a long, close look at this week's series at Great American Ball Park.
Or for mercy's sake, if you're a Cincinnati Reds fan, just read about it here.
The Los Angeles Dodgers send as many Cy Young Awards to the mound for starts against the Reds this week as there are games in the series. And that doesn't even count who's listed for Thursday's series finale (somebody they call TBA).
Two of the four CYAs belong to left-hander Tarik Skubal, the former Detroit Tigers ace the Dodgers acquired at the trade deadline, who started this week's opener.
For the second time in a week Skubal rolled the Reds, this time pitching seven scoreless innings in a 4-1 win that clinched the Dodgers' 14th consecutive playoff berth.
