Vanderbilt football will kick off against Auburn at 3:15 p.m. CT on Sept. 26 from Jordan-Hare Stadium, with the game televised on SEC Network, the league announced Sept. 14.
It will be the SEC opener for the Commodores (2-0), who will start off conference play on the road. Auburn (2-0) starts SEC play with a Sept. 19 contest against Florida. This will also be the homecoming game for the Tigers.
Auburn has a new coach in Alex Golesh, who was the head coach at South Florida and the offensive coordinator at Tennessee previously.

Curtis entered the game for the third drive after Blaze Berlowitz had not completed a pass in his first two drives. Lea said that the third drive was always the intention for when Curtis would enter the game, unless the game situation dictated otherwise.
Berlowitz re-entered the game near the end of the second quarter. He committed a fumble on a run play and then led Vanderbilt to a three-and-out, resulting in boos.
Curtis then played the entire second half.
"We had prescribed that, so that was less a response to the game flow," Lea said. "Obviously we were not able to move the ball offensively early, but he was going to go in third series unless it was situational."

During this season for volleyball, Rutgers has had one night of evidence about its sustained success. Friday was about whether it could be the same team twice. Saturday asked something harder, whether Rutgers needed to be the same team at all.
Skylar George and Imani Howell, who between them played every set of Friday's win over Delaware, did not play. Karis Willow came off the bench. Zharia Harris-Waddy, Avery Jesewitz and Jenna DeLaMater started, and Addison Wiemann and Kami Dyrstad got a set.

K.C. Keeler has already proven to be an excellent fit at Temple. His résumé speaks for itself, and he is a proven winner even with a lack of resources. He won FCS national championships at both Delaware and Sam Houston, but his 10-win season at Sam Houston in year two of FBS membership might be his magnum opus. Additionally, he's a great fit since he has publicly declared this will be his final job, which promises Temple players and staffers a sense of stability.
Keeler walked into Philadelphia last year and immediately turned Temple into a 5-win team, after the Owls hadn't won more than three games in the entire 2020s. Temple fell one point short of both service academies, and flipping either result would have pushed the program into the postseason.

Kim Zolciak is facing nearly $150,000 in alleged debts as she deals with ongoing legal issues involving her family. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star faces two separate lawsuits over unpaid debts. The cases involve money tied to her former business and a credit card account. Both lawsuits remain ongoing.
According to Us Weekly, Headway Capital sued Zolciak in April 2026. The financial company claims she entered a business-use line of credit agreement for 8 Busy B's LLC. The company alleges Zolciak did not repay $75,000. Headway Capital is seeking $130,634.03, including interest.
According to court documents, Headway Capital claims Zolciak owes $74,983.89 in principal. The lawsuit also lists $55,650.14 in accrued interest through Aug. 13, 2024. Headway Capital also seeks prejudgment interest from Aug. 14, 2024, plus statutory post-judgment interest. Zolciak received the lawsuit papers at her Georgia home from a Gwinnett County sheriff's deputy on June 23. A hearing set for Aug. 8 was later canceled, and the court has not set another date. Zolciak has not responded to the lawsuit.
Zolciak also faces a separate lawsuit over an alleged unpaid credit card balance. Portfolio Recovery ****** ociates, LLC sued her on July 13 and claims she owes $16,759.51. The man charged in the attempted burglary of Eagles running back Saquon Barkley's home has now been charged in another burglary.
Officials say he is now connected to at least four burglaries.
Jabir Parker, 24, was scheduled to appear before a judge on Thursday but that hearing got postponed.
However, investigators now say Parker, along with two or three other unnamed suspects, stole cash, $80,000 in jewelry, and about $10,000 worth of handbags from a house in Haverford Township, Delaware County, on August 20.
Parker is also accused of breaking into Barkley's home in Chester County, back in July.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith and several business partners are facing a civil fraud lawsuit over a $2.5 million loan that was supposed to help a joint venture acquire an interest in a planned Texas solar development.
Kituwah Energy Project #2 LLC, an affiliate of Kituwah LLC, the economic development arm of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, filed the lawsuit Aug. 31 in Delaware's Court of Chancery. It accuses Smith, longtime business partner David Mosley and others of inducing the company to participate in a renewable energy venture known as Project Exodus.
The proposed project was presented as a major solar development expected to begin operating by the end of 2024 and generate nearly $13.8 million in first-year net income. Kituwah says it ultimately provided a $2.5 million loan to the parties' newly created joint venture after being told the money would help acquire rights and ownership interests connected to the project.
The lawsuit alleges the money instead went to another business that had previously financed ventures involving Smith and Mosley's company. The loan matured Feb. 1, 2024, and Kituwah says none of the principal has been repaid. The allegations have not been proven in court, and NBC 5 DFW reported that the defendants had not responded to its requests for comment.
Smith and Mosley co-founded Dallas-based 4 13 Solutions Inc., a real estate and renewable energy company. According to the complaint, they approached Kituwah in early 2023 about participating in Project Exodus, a proposed solar development in Caldwell County, Texas.

Defunct Yellow Corp. has reached settlement agreements with four multiemployer pension plans totaling up to $526 million to resolve remaining withdrawal liability claims. Canadian midstream company Enbridge has reached a deal to acquire Salt Creek Midstream's crude oil-gathering business in the US for $600m (C$833.36m) in cash.
The transaction, made through a wholly owned subsidiary of Enbridge, includes 100% of the Orla and Wink North systems and a 50% stake in the Delaware Crossing (DCX) system.
The ***** ets cover roughly 500 miles of crude oil-gathering infrastructure in the Delaware Basin, an area known for crude oil production in North America.
The systems supports more than 20 different producers and operate under long-term commercial agreements spanning roughly 320,000 net dedicated acres.
These contracts have an average remaining duration of around ten years, offering stable, long-term cash flows and a foundation for future development.

Vanderbilt football has set a debut date for its new all-gold uniforms.
The Commodores will wear them for their matchup against Delaware on Sept. 15 (3:15 p.m. CT, SEC Network) at FirstBank Stadium, the program announced in a release.
The jerseys were first announced Aug. 5. It will be the first time wearing gold jerseys since 2020; Vanderbilt has exclusively worn white and black jerseys for Clark Lea's tenure.
The gold jerseys in a video previewing the new uniforms were shown with white lettering and gold pants. The Commodores have worn gold pants with black jerseys in recent seasons.
The first 8,000 fans at the Delaware game will receive a replica gold jersey and fans are also being encouraged to wear gold.

WILLIAMSPORT, PA(WBRE/WYOU)-- The last seven days have been a whirlwind for the twelve year old all-stars from West Chester, PA. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions have been on the road since capturing the ***** le Friday, August 14th in Bristol, Connecticut.
East Side Little League Manager Bob Hennessey said, "It's awesome, and the support back home has been unbelievable. Getting messages, texts, social media posts."
East Side pitcher and outfielder Cole Warner shined in the clinching game of the Mid-Atlantic Regionals. "Seeing all the fans, and like the parents and the kids asking for all of us. It's like being a MLB player," said Warner.
The twelve year old tossed five plus innings, allowing just a single run. "They were pretty good. Just pitching to contact and trusting my defense is the key," Cole said.
Warner also scored a run in the 3 to 1 win over Delaware. Ryan Hennessy drove him in with a two RBI hit in the first inning.

So, at Delaware Online High School Sports Media Days Aug. 11-12 at Woodbridge High and Abessinio Stadium, we asked the top field hockey and girls volleyball players in the state to share the biggest lessons they have learned so far from their high school athletic careers.
"Figuring out how to communicate and get your point across as a leader to all different types of people," said Newark Charter's Victoria Weller. "How they learn best. How they take criticism best. Figuring out how to accomplish a team goal."
"The best lesson I've learned from playing team sports is how to work with everyone and understand how to meet people where they are," said Sussex Central's Julianne Bounds. "Bring people up when they need to be brought up and then also be that encouragement for people."

The 36-year-old Ursuline Academy and University of Delaware graduate was inducted to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
In a moving speech during her enshrinement ceremony that featured frequent references to family, Delle Donne articulated a love letter to basketball.
"You've been with me since I was a gangly kid in Delaware," she said, "trying to shoot over a ladder named Oscar to help me develop my shooting arc. You never cared if I was awkward.

New Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Elena Delle Donne was nearly moved to tears when highlighting the impact her sister, Lizzie, had on her life and career.
"Whenever I experienced my worst lows, burnout, injury, defeat (and) doubt, the lesson I needed was never on the court. It was at home, waiting for me - with my sister, Lizzie," Delle Donne said, voice quivering.
"For those of you who don't know, Lizzie is my big sister. She was born deaf and blind, has faced significant physical and developmental challenges throughout her life. She's never played in front of thousands of people. She's never had a standing ovation. She's never been interviewed after a big win. And yet I have never met anyone stronger."
Despite the many accolades that culminated in her Hall of Fame induction, Delle Donne has previously said her proudest accomplishment is being a sister to Lizzie, who also has cerebral palsy and autism. Being close to her older sister was Delle Donne's main motivation in leaving UConn to play at the University of Delaware, near her hometown, after a brief hiatus in college.
Delle Donne also said that once she learned she could play basketball at an early age, people would listen to her. She said she felt she needed to do something with her voice to inspire others. The WNBA legend explained that when she was younger, her friends were afraid of Lizzie. However, for Delle Donne, Lizzie was her "angel" and "guiding light."
