Global equities experienced a sharp rally in Q2 2026, with the S&P 500 returning 15.2%, its strongest quarter since 2020, driven by a shift from software to hardware in the Artificial Intelligence capital spending cycle. Small caps outperformed large caps, with the Russell 2000® gaining 21.5% compared to the Russell 1000's 15.1%. Strong stock selection in Consumer Discretionary, Real Estate, and Financials contributed positively, although an underweight in Information Technology negatively impacted results. Despite ongoing economic uncertainties, the investment philosophy remains committed to a disciplined value approach. Check the fund's top five holdings for its best picks in 2026.

Youth and health. The 2025 Sandia Matadors had too much of the former and not enough of the latter.
It was an often frustrating season under new coach Tylon Wilder. The Matadors, who had precious few players with concrete varsity experience, started 0-4 and never recovered, and an ******* ortment of injuries to some key personnel prevented Sandia from truly flourishing.
But Sandia firmly believes the puzzle pieces are arranged properly for them to become one of Class 6A's success stories this fall.
"I believe we can make it to the state championship and I feel like we can make it far in the playoffs," senior quarterback Jahleel Lewis said.
Sandia was among the nearly 125 football-playing schools in New Mexico that staged their first practices of the season on Monday.

Terence "Bud" Crawford has addressed ConorMcGregor's anticlimactic return to action in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
McGregor's return to the Octagon ended in just 69 seconds atUFC 329. The former two-division champion seemingly injured hisright knee in the opening sequence of the fight, leading to astoppage from the referee as he was unable to continue.
UFC CEO DanaWhite subsequently speculated that it could be an ACL-relatedissue, an unfortunate occurrence considering McGregor's last boutbefore UFC 329 also ended in a leg injury.
Crawford, who has gone back and forth with McGregor previously, believes the Irishman got what was coming his way. The unbeatenboxer and the MMA superstar were once rumored to be squaring off ina two-fight crossover series across both combat sports, andMcGregor claimed Crawford turned down a $200 million deal, whichthe latter has since dismissed.
"It's crazy when they talk sh*t to me God punish them," Crawfordwrote on X.
This isn't the first time Crawford has addressed an MMA result. After IliaTopuria suffered the first defeat of his professional career atUFC Freedom 250 to JustinGaethje, "Bud" questioned the hype behind "El Matador" goinginto the historic White House event. Notably, Topuria hadpreviously claimed he could beat Crawford in boxing.
"This the guy that said he would knock me out and whoop me andShakur at the same time?" Crawford posted after UFC Freedom250.

Jon Jones advises Ilia Topuria to be honest with himself in the aftermath of his first professional loss.
Topuria (17-1) was a massive favorite going into his ****** le unification bout against Justin Gaethje at UFC Freedom 250 last month. However, the latter handed “El Matador” a brutal beating, forcing his corner to stop the fight after the fourth round. While Gaethje finally captured gold in his third crack at the crown, Topuria suffered his first career loss.
Jones, who is essentially undefeated with his lone career loss being a controversial disqualification, believes Topuria can come back stronger from the defeat. “Bones” claims to have heard that the former two-division champion is humble and honest in defeat, and believes acknowledging one's own mistakes instead of making excuses is the key to returning from a loss.
Jones told Red Corner MMA: “Ilia’s gonna be in a good position. He has faith. He has a strong team. And that’s a lot of what it takes. He has a work ethic. I think he’s honest with himself… What I heard was that he’s humble. That he’s honest. That he realized that he just didn’t perform well. I think that’s the number one step of getting back into the ring in a healthy way. It’s the guys who make excuses, that’s when it’s hard to come back and win that rematch… Honesty with yourself is the key to MMA.”
What adds to the weight of Topuria’s loss are his pre-fight antics. Topuria had repeatedly predicted a first-round knockout win, changed his record on his social media bio, and even celebrated a day before the fight, traditions he might opt against going forward.

Fermi Inc. (NASDAQ:FRMI) is one of the 10 Best New Stocks to Buy Other Than ***** eX.
On June 23, 2026, Stifel lowered its price target on Fermi Inc. (NASDAQ:FRMI) to $17 from $29 and kept a Buy rating. Stifel said Fermi has apparently made progress in the background after months of post-IPO uncertainty, but the continued wait for a firm contract with an initial tenant has "clearly delayed the story and rattled our valuation." The firm updated its forecasts and said Fermi remains "a high-risk, high-reward, pre-revenue story."
On June 11, Citizens said The Information's report that OpenAI is in talks to lease a 10-gigawatt data center in Ohio through funding provided by Nvidia bodes well for Fermi. Citizens said the report improves the likelihood of a significant signed lease for Fermi as the company seeks its first lease for its developing 11 GW natural gas-powered complex. Fermi shares were up 13% to $6.35 following Citizens' note.

Last month, Evercore ISI ***** yst Nicholas Amicucci downgraded Fermi to In Line from Outperform with a price target of $11, down from $20. Amicucci said the downgrade is "not a rejection" of the long-term scarcity value of Project Matador or the broader power-demand thesis, but reflects a changed underwriting standard. Amicucci said Fermi 2.0 is "credible evidence" that a reset has begun, but not yet proof that it has worked.

Former UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria was practically unrecognizable following his UFC White House loss to Justin Gaethje, a four-round shellacking that left “El Matador” with a pair of broken orbital bones— and the first loss of his professional career.
“El Matador” was not expected to make his return until 2027; however, word from the Topuria camp suggests the former two-division ****** leholder could start his revenge tour as early as December.
“Day by day, he already looks like an entirely different person,” trainer Jesus Gallo told SerEbro EnlosDeportes (transcribed by ****** Elbow). “Obviously, he still feels discomfort, but it doesn’t seem like he’s had any fights really. All the swelling in his face has gone down. All the bruising he had has gone down. To the naked eye, you can see a person who has already recovered a lot, and it has been a week and two days.”
Gaethje has a way of doing that to people.
“What the doctor told us was that within six to eight weeks, it should heal properly, especially because there was no orbital bone displacement, so it will heal on its own,” Gallo added. “After that, for him to start wrestling again, to start doing things again, it’ll take a little while for it to really solidify there. I think we’re talking about at least two to three months, easily. If you saw us in a rematch or in a fight, it would be toward the end of the year, in December. Who knows? We’ll see.”

Justin Gaethje feels that Ilia Topuria faces an uphill climb after UFC Freedom 250.
Gaethje handed Topuria his first professional loss on June 14, pulling off a memorable upset at the White House.
Despite being dropped early, Gaethje fought back and eventually forced Topuria out of the fight before the final round could begin.
Since then, questions have been raised about how 'El Matador' will respond to his first major defeat, especially after entering his ******* le defence with such high confidence.
Ilia Topuria was respectful in his post-fight comments after losing to Justin Gaethje at the White House. But in the lead-up to the bout, 'El Matador' had been vocal about his confidence, predicting an easy win to stay unbeaten.

UFC ******* yst Din Thomas finds the career of Ilia Topuria to be even more captivating now that he's no longer an undefeated UFC champion.
Topuria (17-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) saw one of the great octagon runs in history come to an end Sunday at UFC Freedom 250 when he lost the lightweight ******* le to Justin Gaethje by four-round TKO via corner stoppage. It was a Fight of the Year candidate that entertained the masses, but was also a far cry from the contest Topuria claimed it would be.
"El Matador" confidently stated he would dispatch of Gaethje inside the opening round on the White House South Lawn. Reality was far more cruel, however, and he ended up on the wrong end up a significant upset.
"It's the one that he needed," Thomas told MMA Junkie. "He has to do some soul-searching, because the same mentality that needed to be so great – he needs that now. To feel like you're invincible and feel that you're so great. That happens when you feel that and you trust in yourself and are drinking wine the night before the fight. Now you have to go back and question yourself, and that's where the soul-searching begins.
"Now you start to have doubt. Do you trust yourself anymore and have these same beliefs? Are you as great as you thought you were? You have to go and have that same level of confidence knowing that it didn't work against a guy like Justin Gaethje, where you were a 6-1 favorite. That's a lot of soul searching. I think Ilia can do it."

Paddy Pimblett has issued a scathing response to Ilia Topuria's defeat by Justin Gaethje, as the Liverpudlian's rivalry with the Spanish-Georgian continues.
On Sunday, Topuria defended his lightweight ****** le against Gaethje in the main event of the UFC's remarkable White House event, with Gaethje pulling off a huge upset.
Topuria, 29, retired on his stool between the fourth and fifth rounds, as his American opponent, 37, unified the lightweight belts.
Gaethje had twice failed to win undisputed-title fights in the UFC, but he earned this third chance by outpointing Pimblett in January, dominating the Briton to become a two-time interim champion.
Despite the one-sided nature of Pimblett's own loss to Gaethje, "Paddy The Baddy" was delighted by Topuria's defeat – the first of his professional career. His rivalry with Topuria stems from an altercation in London in 2022, when "El Matador" confronted Pimblett over allegedly anti-Georgian tweets.

UFC Freedom 250 went down in the history books last night (Sat., June 14, 2026) in what was truly one-of-a kind event that saw all seven fights end via knockout. In the main event of the evening, Justin Gaethje became the undisputed Lightweight champion of the world after he absolutely brutalized Ilia Topuria to the point to where “El Matador” could not answer the call to come out for the fifth and final round (highlights). In the co-headlining act, Ciryl Gane once again captured UFC gold by knocking out Alex Pereira (video), while Sean O’Malley stopped Aiemann Zahabi in round two (see it here).
It’s about time UFC stops playing with Tsarukyan and give him his long over due shot at the **** le. He is currently ranked No. 2 and while he has been meaty taking on side quests in RAF, he should be ready to get back to his true calling inside the Octagon. This is another fight that has fireworks written all over it. Tsarukyan is on a five-fight win streak and was last seen submitting Dan Hooker in Nov. 2025.
After Gane stunned Pereira in round two with his heavy bombs, the hulking Frenchman can now look ahead to trying to settle some unfinished business with the current champion, Aspinall, in a rematch. The two men initially threw down at UFC 321 in Oct. 2025, which saw the fight end in anti-climactic fashion in the very first round after Aspinall was on the wrong end of an inadvertent eye poke, resulting in a no contest (NC). Since then, however, all we have been seeing is how slow the champ’s recovery has been, so there is no telling when that fight will happen…if ever.
After O’Malley took care of Zahabi last night, he called for a **** le fight against current Houston champion, Petr Yan. The two men initially fought way back at UFC 280, which saw “Suga” walk away with a split-decision win. Since then, however, Yan has become champion once again, winning the undisputed **** le more recently at UFC 323 by defeating Merab Dvalishvili. There have been talks about a potential rematch between the two, but nothing has yet become official. If and when it does, then I can see O’Malley waiting to face the winner, as he should.
Hokit secured his fourth straight win inside the Octagon in just seven months by stopping Derrick Lewis in round number two (see it here). Currently ranked No. 5, he could be moving up a spot or two following his latest win. Up next, a fight against Pavlovich could be in order, which would undoubtedly be his biggest test so far inside the Octagon. Pavlovich is currently ranked No. 3 in the division and is coming off an easy night of work, disposing of Tallison Teixeira in 39 seconds just last month (see it here). The winner of this fight could put himself in great position for a **** le eliminator fight, possibly against Alexander Volkov.

This is the UFC White House live blog for Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje, the lightweight championship unification main event Sunday at the White House in Washington, D.C.
Topuria (17-0) is yet to be defeated and already has a pair of UFC ******* les to his name won at 155 and 145 pounds, two of the deepest divisions in MMA. His incredible achievements have him at No. 2 in the MMA Fighting Pound-for-Pound Rankings, behind only former lightweight champion and current welterweight champion Islam Makhachev.
It’s been a ******* py road for Topuria since winning the lightweight belt in June 2025 as he unsuccessfully pursued a superfight with Makhachev and then had to take time off to deal with personal matters. However, he’s a heavy favorite heading into Sunday’s main event and for good reason. “El Matador” has already knocked out a number of legends in the cage, including Charles Oliveira and featherweight greats Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway. A win over Gaethje could propel Topuria to his long-awaited grudge match with Makhachev.
Gaethje (27-5) is determined to foil those plans as he heads into what could be his last chance to become undisputed UFC champion. Already the only fighter to win two interim UFC ******* les, Gaethje has previously twice fought for the chance to be the No. 1 name at 155 pounds, but was denied by Khabib Nurmagomedov and Charles Oliveira. “The Highlight” clawed his way back to a unification bout with consecutive wins over Paddy Pimblett and Rafael Fiziev, and could cap off one of the most memorable careers in MMA history if he defies the odds and hands Topuria his first loss.
