Now that the Denver Broncos are reporting for training camp, fans will likely get a more inside looks at the team's new training facility. While some introductory pictures were released by the team in mid-July, the first interior video of the facility has been shared on Instagram by Kayla Jones, wife of Broncos defensive lineman D.J. Jones.
The video captured several never-before-seen areas of the new building. Some of the new areas shown include an in-house barbershop (complete with an orange and blue striped barber chair), a mini indoor field, shaded table seating on the roof of the building, and a revamped locker room ready for the team.

Gvardiol has signed a new five-year contract with the Cityzens, a deal which will extend his time at the Etihad until 2031.

Unlike other blue bloods, Michigan doesn't often reel in high five-star prospects. For every Rashan Gary and Bryce Underwood, there are classes without a single five-star in it that are developed into powerhouse football teams. The class of 2026 is the former, as Michigan brought in two five-stars this offseason in Savion Hiter and Carter Meadows. Meadows has the makings of a star, but will need some time to get ready for Big Ten action.
Meadows hails from Gonzaga High School in Washington D.C., one of the more well-known powerhouse high school programs. In fact, he was high school teammates with fellow Wolverine Kainoa Winston, and Evan Link also attended Gonzaga. In high school, Meadows was 6-foot-6 and 225 pounds. He possesses a frame that NFL scouts tend to drool over out of an edge rusher.
Naturally, a high schooler with elite athleticism and an NFL frame coming from a national powerhouse of a school was bound to get attention nationally. Meadows received offers from just about every major program, with 247Sports listing 29 offers. Carter made four official visits — South Carolina, Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan, in that order.
In typical fashion, Carter's recruitment came down to Michigan and Ohio State. While certain sites may try to convince you the Buckeyes weren't going all in on Meadows, that would be incorrect. Meadows committed to Michigan, as Lou Esposito and company were able to close on Meadows, and Kyle Whittingham and the new staff were able to retain him.

With the Washington Commanders rookies having already reported for the 2026 training camp, let's learn about Henry. Initially, it is perfectly understandable if no one in the Commanders fan base knew of Henry in his first two years of college. You see, he played for Jones College in Ellisville, Mississippi, a junior college in 2021 and 2022. Henry then transferred, finding a new football home at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
Playing at UTSA from 2023-2025, Henry blossomed in his senior season, accumulating 1,045 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 151 carries, averaging 6.9 yards per attempt. One of the things that Commanders scouts no doubt noticed about Henry was his development in his ability to break off an explosive run for big yardage. Henry produced five rushes of 70-plus yards in 2025. This was not only the best, but was three more than any other FBS player. Henry was named a first-team All-American Athletic Conference and was a Doak Walker Award semifinalist.
Standing 5-foot-9, weighing 196 pounds, Henry is not exactly Derrick Henry in stature. This is another reason Henry went undrafted in April's 2026 NFL Draft. When the seventh and final draft rounds had concluded, there was Henry still available, and the Commanders ****** ed him, signing him to an undrafted free agent deal.

The 10-12 Maryland Little League Baseball State Championship was held last week in Hagerstown, Maryland, as teams from across Maryland competed for the state ***** le and a spot at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals. But only one team could walk away with that honor, and that team would be the Berlin Little League team.
After winning the District 8 Championship over local rivals, Berlin Little League arrived at the Maryland State Championship Tournament as one of seven teams hoping to take one step closer towards an appearance at the Little League World Series. And they did just that, as they brought the state championship back to Berlin.
It all culminated in their 6-2 victory over South Baltimore in the ***** le game, which capped off their unbeaten run to the ***** le. According to The Herald Mail, Berlin's Jonah Isett struck out five in 4⅔ innings, only allowing two runs and two hits to help lead Berlin to victory. And at the plate, players like Isett, Jackson Howell, Gus VanKlompenberg, Miles Abott, Cole Brown also contributed to Berlin's state championship victory.
Berlin's first game of the Little League Baseball Mid-Atlantic Regionals will take place on Aug. 9 at 10 a.m., and they will play Mamie Johnson Little League of Washington, D.C. The Mid-Atlantic Regionals will take place in Bristol, Connecticut.

Following four-time MVP LeBron James' historic decision to shock the world by joining the Philadelphia 76ers, the news was met with elation by those in the City of Brotherly Love, including Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro, who already officially declared July 24 to be known as LeBron James Day in the state.
And the elation in Philadelphia is more than justified, as the 76ers now have as good a chance as anyone of taking home the 2026-27 NBA championship, with James set to be signed to one of the best value contracts in league history. Lest we forget, although James is now 41, he still put up a 21/7/6 stat line last season while having to share the ball with the likes of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
James will now be signed to a deal that will pay him just $3.9 million next campaign, so we're having a hard time figuring out a player who might give their team a better bang for their buck than James will for Philadelphia next season at that salary.
And that was without even discussing the fact that Philadelphia also managed to get rid of Paul George this offseason, while adding Jaylen Brown and Anfernee Simons. Simply put, the Sixers are going to be an absolute force, at least on the offensive end, next season, and should be seen by everyone as a top ****** le contender.

Word spread fast in the City of Brotherly Love after LeBron James announced he will be signing with the Philadelphia 76ers.
James said in a series of posts on X that this was not about money or family, but about grinding, competing and winning. He said he's not done playing basketball yet and he thinks Philadelphia is the place to continue doing it and win an NBA Championship.

The Chargers are less than a week away from the start of training camp, and the anticipation is building.
While most starting jobs and roster spots appear to be locked in at positions like quarterback, running back and safety, there are still several key roles that remain unsettled.
Those battles will begin to take shape in the coming weeks. Heading into training camp, here are the four biggest postion groups still unclear.
The left guard position will be one of the more intriguing battles entering training camp. The players fighting for the starting spot are veterans Kayode Awosika, Trevor Penning and second-round pick Jake Slaughter. Slaughter enters his first training camp having only played center at Flordia. Awosika appears to have the upper hand, as he received most of the work with the first-team offense during the spring.

While the Penn State Nittany Lions lost a lot of production in the 2026 NFL Draft, fans were already questioning whether or not several of Penn State's returning options could be seen as draft picks in 2027. Well, after an offseason of change, there certainly seems like the Nittany Lions have a new look about them. So when the Shriners East-West Bowl watch list came out, it should have been no surprise that Penn State was well represented on the list.
Most importantly, it pointed out a major early win for new head coach Matt Campbell. Not only did Penn State place nineteen total players on the watch list, but fifteen of them were transfers from this year's portal cycle. In fact, thirteen of them come from Matt Campbell's former school, Iowa State. The headliners of the list include QB Rocco Becht, linebackers Kooper Ebel, Caleb Bacon, and Tony Rojas, and wide receivers Brett Eskildsen and Chase Sowell.
The other two transfers on the list were influenced by new defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn after he came to Happy Valley from UCLA. The Tennessee **** ans will officially begin training camp on July 28th when the veterans report to Vanderbilt Health Football Camp in Nashville. We’re concluding our positional preview with the secondary, cornerbacks and safeties. The **** ans have 17 defensive backs on the offseason roster. General manager Mike Borgonzi made various acquisitions across these positions.

We’re just 43 days until the return of Penn State football, and today we’ll take a look at defensive end Dayshaun Burnett.
Burnett is a 6-foot-3, 226-pound redshirt freshman that was a four-star member of the 2025 recruiting. Not surprisingly given his light frame — he was listed around 215 pounds as a recruit — Burnett took a redshirt season as he added weight to properly play defensive end in the Big Ten. While that weight gain is still a work in progress — he’s still only listed at 226 pounds on the roster — Burnett doesn’t lack the twitchiness or athleticism needed for defensive end. Let’s see where he’s listed coming out of the spring, because if he can make a 10-pound jump, Burnett could be a sleeper on the edge.

CHICAGO — When it comes to promoting nostalgia, no one does it quite like the Chicago Blackhawks.
So it’s not surprising the Hawks would bring back franchise legend Patrick Kane at 37 to re-create memories of the three-time Stanley Cup champions of the 2010s, pairing him with the next franchise savior — Connor Bedard — through the 2027-28 season.
Of course, any resemblance between those teams and the current edition of the Hawks is coincidental, and you don’t need AI to make a 37-year-old Kane look much different from his 19-year-old self.
Kane signed a two-year deal Thursday with an annual average of $8 million, which reminds us of his number, 88. It’s seen by many as overpaying for a player whose best years are in the past, but considering the marketing aspect for the Hawks, it’s probably worth every penny.
Word of the signing spread quickly, almost as though it was part of a well-planned advertising campaign. MANILA, July 22 (Reuters) - Australia's foreign minister said on Wednesday that Asian countries face a choice in how they respond to instances of aggressive conduct in the South China Sea that were of concern to Canberra.
A recent encounter in the South China Sea between China and the Philippines was a real concern, in addition to being destabilising and risky, Penny Wong said on the sidelines of a meeting led by the Southeast Asian bloc ASEAN.
"We are concerned about some of the aggression we are seeing," Wong said. "We are concerned about some of the destabilising conduct we are seeing."
"The countries of the region have a choice to make about how we all respond to that."
Wong was referring to an altercation on Monday in which Manila said one of its navy personnel was struck on the head. Beijing accused Manila of provoking the incident, resulting in both countries summoning each other's ambassadors.

WORCESTER – Hard work, determination, a commitment to practice and perseverance. Those are the keys in which Lou Gehrig coach John Connolly credits to his team as they prepare to travel to DuBois, Pennsylvania for the Junior Little League All-Stars East Region Tournament.
"It feels great," Dominic Eilert said. "It's a great opportunity that we get to show people that we're great and how good we are, and we've been doing this. I've been playing for Lou Gehrig for a long time, so it's a good feeling to play with these kids, but I know them and they're all good kids."
Lou Gehrig defeated North Reading in the final on July 19 in Oxford to qualify for the East Regional. Connolly believes his team's depth is what has helped them all season long.
"All my kids can pitch," Connolly said. "I've got a lot of pitching depth. We've very strong. I think our biggest strength is our lineup. We can hit one through 12. We don't have a weak spot in our lineup. My 12 hitter is as good or close as good enough to my leadoff hitter."
The team's depth was tested in a game at Fitton Field, in which they found themselves short-staffed.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said American companies should be free to use Chinese open-source artificial intelligence models, positioning himself against Trump administration officials and U.S. AI labs that have sought to restrict them.
"These Chinese models are excellent," Huang told Axios on Tuesday. "Open-source models that are excellent should be used." He said companies should "absolutely" be allowed to use them.
The remarks came as the release of Kimi K3, a model from Beijing-based Moonshot AI that combines near-frontier performance, lower prices, and open weights, has rattled chip and AI stocks, reviving concerns that cheaper models could undercut the case for large AI infrastructure spending. Huang argued Wall Street has the situation backward. "Free AI should be great for hardware," he said. "Free AI should be great for chips. Free AI should be great for data centers." Cheaper and more accessible models draw more people into AI ecosystems, he argued, and that broader adoption ultimately drives up demand for the chips and data centers that Nvidia provides.
Huang also rejected the argument that downloaded Chinese models create a security backdoor to Beijing. Companies can customize those models and run them inside secure environments, he said, and openness makes AI more secure because outside researchers can inspect models and identify weaknesses. "If everything just becomes one single model, one single point of attack, one single source of failure, I think the world is much, much more vulnerable," he said.
His comments came hours after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Fox Business that the administration is examining Chinese AI models for evidence of stolen U.S. intellectual property and considering sanctions. "If we see ... that overseas models are stealing from our great companies, we have the ability to sanction them because of this theft," Bessent said, according to Axios. Huang said companies should still face consequences for violating privacy or contracts, but he argued the response should target misconduct, not the models themselves. The Nittany Lions already have a top-three Class of 2028 and now they could be getting their hands on another intriguing prospect from that group. Penn State has been recruiting four-star wide receiver Owen Johnson for much of this year, and in a recent interview with NittanyCentral, he spoke about their chances of landing him.
"Penn State definitely has my attention," is how Johnson began his response when asked about which teams he was focused on. Some of the other schools the team will be battling for Johnson's commitment are Nebraska, Notre Dame, and UCLA, but he confirmed that the Nittany Lions are in his top five.
The team has a serious need for wide receivers, with the position seriously lacking in the next two recruiting classes. They did have one of the best pass catchers in next year's group of prospects, four-star receiver Khalil Taylor, but Penn State was unable to land him a second time.
Perhaps the most important piece of information when it comes to Johnson is that he hails from Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania. The Blue and White have had a difficult time keeping recruits in-state, but they have a great opportunity to change their fortunes here. Johnson is clearly keen on playing for the team and becoming one of the crown jewels of a loaded 2028 class — now the onus is on Penn State to make a commitment worth his while.

Sophia Tolentino scored the tiebeaking run on a throwing error and Gia Gatto followed with an RBI single, powering a four-run final inning rally that lifted Toms River to a 5-3 victory over Team Pennsylvania for the region championship - and a berth in the Little League Softball World Series.
