Car buying patterns in 2025 have been all over the place as consumers and the industry have adjusted to the automotive tariffs that dominated the conversation this year.

SEOUL, Dec 1 (Reuters) - South Korea's exports rose in November for a sixth consecutive month, beating market expectations, as chip sales hit a record on strong technology demand while autos also ‌jumped after a U.S. trade deal.

US retail sales on Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, climbed 4.1% compared with last year, according to data released Saturday by Mastercard SpendingPulse. Online shoppers alone spent $11.8 billion, up 9.1% from 2024, according to data collection platform Adobe **** ytics.
