CRM trades at $184 with a $259 price target implying 41% upside, driven by Agentforce ARR surging 205% to $1.2 billion.
NOW commands a premium to CRM's 13 forward P/E despite roughly double the AI growth rate, while ORCL dominates on contract backlog scale.
Noncurrent debt surging from $10 billion to $39 billion and Informatica integration risk anchor the bear case, pointing to a $221 floor.

Agentic artificial intelligence takes automated trading to a new level. Unlike trading bots that follow preset rules, AI agents can actually act on decisions they make, trading according to market conditions and learning from mistakes. AI agents can react to shifts in the market in real time, ***** yze data, form plans, and execute trades.

Customers of several brokerages, including Robinhood (NASDAQ: HOOD), can now connect AI tools such as Anthropic's Claude or OpenAI's ChatGPT to their accounts. Users move funds into their AI agent account and give it instructions for how they want it to trade. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev wants AI agents to be able to do everything humans can. He aims to give retail investors the same computing power as institutional investors.
Here are some of the ways agentic AI trading could transform not only crypto investing, but all investing -- for good and bad.
Cryptocurrency investing is always a wild ride, but the growth of agentic AI trading could make it even wilder. Having multiple AI agents automatically trading crypto in milliseconds on the back of breaking news or price movements could amplify price swings and quickly reduce liquidity, particularly if many traders have set up similar AI instructions. Many crypto investors have witnessed firsthand how automated liquidations can spiral rapidly into flash crashes.

Columbia Threadneedle Investments, an investment management company, released its "Columbia Seligman Global Technology Fund" second quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. During the quarter, the Fund's Institutional Class shares returned 50.34%, outperforming the MSCI World Information Technology Index's 33.65% gain. Stock selection in semiconductors, technology hardware and software, together with an off-benchmark electrical equipment allocation, supported relative performance, while exposure to financials, consumer discretionary and healthcare detracted. Technology stocks rallied as concerns over the Iran conflict eased and AI infrastructure spending boosted demand for semiconductors, memory, networking, servers and power solutions. The Fund expects AI and data-centre investment to remain strong, supported by broadening earnings growth and improving software bookings, cloud consumption and customer spending. However, geopolitical uncertainty, higher interest rates and heavy AI investment could pressure valuations and free cash flow. The strategy holds 50–75 technology companies across market capitalisations and uses bottom-up GARP research to identify misunderstood and undervalued businesses in the technology industry. In addition, please check the Fund's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Columbia Seligman Global Technology Fund highlighted Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD). Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) is a leading semiconductor company that designs and manufactures of AI accelerators, microprocessors, and graphics processing units. On July 27, 2026, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) closed at $494.95 per share. One-month return of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) was -14.80% and its shares gained 178.94% over the past 52 weeks. Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) has a market capitalization of about $807.07 billion.
Columbia Seligman Global Technology Fund stated the following regarding Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"The fund did not own some of the larger central processing unit (CPU) companies such as Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) and the server CPU opportunity is having a renaissance driven by agentic AI. This lack of exposure ultimately detracted from performance, as the companies' share prices moved sharply higher during the quarter."
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) ranks 20 on our list of 40 Most Popular Stocks Among Hedge Funds Heading Into 2026. According to our database, 134 hedge fund portfolios held Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) at the end of the first quarter, up from 132 in the previous quarter. Circle—the company behind USDC (the digital dollar used by millions worldwide for payments, savings, and international transfers)—just bought the blockchain patent library IBM spent more than a decade building. The deal, announced July 27, hands Circle over 1,000 blockchain patents issued by IBM worldwide.
Patents are legal rights that give the holder exclusive control over a specific invention. If you hold a patent on a method for processing transactions on a blockchain—the shared digital ledger where crypto activity is permanently recorded and can't be altered—you get to decide who else uses it and on what terms. IBM had been building that kind of leverage since its mid-2010s enterprise blockchain push.
By December 2025, patent ******* ytics firm PatSnap credited IBM with 790 U.S. blockchain patents—more than any other American company, with Bank of America a distant second at roughly 200. Circle, which received its first-ever patent in December 2023 (covering parallel blockchain data processing—a technique for verifying multiple groups of transactions simultaneously), went from essentially zero to the top of the U.S. rankings overnight.
"The portfolio comprises over 680 patent families and nearly 1,000 issued patents worldwide, spanning foundational blockchain technology, banking, financial services, insurance, enterprise infrastructure, supply chain verification, and secure cloud operations," Circle said in its official announcement.
Circle plans to put them to work across its entire stack. "The expanded IP position directly supports Circle's foundation for building the internet financial system, including USDC, Circle Payments Network, Arc, and a growing suite of onchain products and agentic financial tools," the company added. Arc is Circle's own payment-focused blockchain built for institutional finance. The agentic tools are AI-powered software programs that can execute financial transactions autonomously—no human required for each step.

SoundHound AI (NASDAQ: SOUN) stock has taken a severe beating so far this year, losing nearly 40% of its value as of this writing. Shares of the company that provides conversational artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to customers are now trading close to their 52-week low, but what's worth noting is that the steep drop in SoundHound's stock price doesn't seem justified.
After all, SoundHound operates in the fast-growing conversational AI market, where demand for agentic AI solutions is rising rapidly. Additionally, SoundHound's results have been solid in recent quarters, and the company is pulling the right strings to ensure that it remains a key player in the conversational AI ****** e.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
We will take a closer look at the company's prospects in this article and check if it is worth investing $1,000 in this AI stock in anticipation of a turnaround in its fortunes.
When SoundHound AI released its Q1 results in May this year, it reported a 52% year-over-year increase in revenue to $44.2 million. The company also announced the acquisition of conversational AI solutions provider LivePerson to strengthen its voice and agentic AI offerings. This seems like a smart move that should ideally bolster SoundHound's growth.

Enterprise AI agents were meant to be the breakout software offering for 2026, yet instead they've become one of the major sources of buyer distrust. According to Anaconda and Forrester research, over 88% of AI agent pilots never reach production, as confirmed by independent polls from a16z and MIT Sloan's CIO panel, while Gartner predicts that more than 40% of agentic AI initiatives will be discontinued entirely by 2027 due to questionable ROI.
Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) walked into the gap between agent hype and agent reality when it placed its growth narrative on Agentforce, and by 2026, that bet has made Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) one of the worst-performing components of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, down around 31.48% year to date.
The immediate cause appears to be a credibility problem, not a demand issue. Bernstein downgraded Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) to Sector Weight from Outperform on July 9, removing its price target completely and citing poor customer feedback on Agentforce in particular. According to **** yst Jackson Ader, the released data doesn't yet indicate growing momentum, and a recent CIO survey found Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) to be "a standout for the wrong reasons."
That said, this interpretation is not uniform, and the debate on the market is serious. On July 14, Goldman Sachs reiterated its Buy rating and $242 price target, expecting organic growth to pick up in the third quarter as more details on AI monetization become available at Salesforce's Agentforce event in September. Goldman's more constructive reading is based on management's own acknowledgment of headwinds in Tableau, Commerce, and Marketing, which the firm sees as realistic rather than concerning, arguing that Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) is being open about a 12-to-24-month drag on its organic growth algorithm rather than covering it up.
Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM)'s historical valuation decline looks to be the most mispriced aspect of the market story. Shares are currently trading at a compressed forward earnings multiple of only 10.83x, a substantial drop from the stock's five-year historical average of over 127x. The disparity is even more obvious when compared to prominent peers such as ServiceNow, which trades at a forward P/E of around 20.43x and requires consistent revenue growth above 18% through 2028 to maintain its valuation premium. Salesforce's current valuation of less than 11x forecast earnings is in near-total deadlock, despite the company's strong free cash flow generation and substantial enterprise data integration.

White Falcon Capital Management, an investment fund manager, released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy can be downloaded here. The portfolio delivered 8.5% in Q2 2026, trailing the S&P 500 TR's (CAD) 17.3%, MSCI AC TR's (CAD) 16.4%, and the S&P TSX TR's 6.9% returns. The YTD's 1.8% return also trailed the indices. The firm is underwhelmed by the portfolio's performance in the quarter; however, the firm emphasizes long-term performance over short-term results. The firm aims to achieve positive absolute returns adjusted for risk over a complete market cycle. The underperformance is not due to the business fundamentals but the momentum-driven rallies in AI-linked stocks. The firm maintains patience and discipline in capital allocation, with valuation as crucial for long-term returns. In addition, please check the Strategy's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, White Falcon Capital Management highlighted Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD). Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) is a leading semiconductor company that designs and manufactures of AI accelerators, microprocessors, and graphics processing units. On July 22, 2026, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) closed at $552.33 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $900.63 billion. Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) posted a one-month return of 0.99%, while its shares gained 231.77% over the past 52 weeks.
White Falcon Capital Management stated the following regarding Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"Before we do that, let's talk about Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD). We purchased our initial position in AMD in October 2022 at about $80 per share when the stock was depressed due to weak outlook for its end markets. As is often the case with the market, when it does not like a stock or a sector it discounts it severely and we were able to purchase a cyclical stock (yes, semiconductor stocks were cyclical then!) with a net-cash balance sheet at a depressed multiple of depressed earnings. Our investment was underpinned by our confidence in AMD's management team, its engineering culture, and its ability to consistently deliver competitive products. It turns out that CPU's, AMD's core product, are needed for Agentic AI! The stock took off earlier this year and is currently trading at above $500 per share. From our perspective, the upside we captured was not due to any attempt to predict AI's trajectory, but simply the result of owning a quality company in a secularly growing sector, run by a strong management team at a sensible valuation.
As we've said before, high-quality businesses possess optionality that simply isn't available to mediocre businesses and even as these businesses trade at higher multiples, this optionality is often undervalued. Today, the world can't seem to buy enough semiconductor stocks, and AMD trades at a valuation that reflects a ve

Montaka Global Investments, an investment management company, released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy of the update is available to download here. Montaka manages a concentrated portfolio of high–conviction, long-term, competitively advantaged businesses bought when prices are attractive. While it delivered positive returns in the June quarter, its 12-month performance was largely negative due to declines in the March quarter amid the 'SaaSpocalypse', yet the underlying businesses performed well. Montaka's strategy focuses on owning businesses that grow earnings in large markets, which struggled against short-term bottleneck trades that gained popularity. However, Montaka aims for long-term excess returns above market indices, anticipating that current mispricing will eventually correct. In addition, please check the Strategy's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Montaka Global Investments highlighted Mastercard Incorporated (NYSE:MA). On July 22, 2026, Mastercard Incorporated (NYSE:MA) closed at $531.98 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $470.05 billion. Mastercard Incorporated (NYSE:MA) posted a one-month return of 8.81%, while its shares lost 5.59% over the past 52 weeks.
Montaka Global Investments stated the following regarding Mastercard Incorporated (NYSE:MA) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"On the other side of the market are some of the world's highest quality businesses which have been overlooked during the semiconductor–mania.
Take Visa and Mastercard Incorporated (NYSE:MA), for example. Both are extraordinarily advantaged businesses and have consistently grown annual revenues at double–digit percentage rates for many years. And in our view, strong growth will likely continue – driven by new value–added services attached to their payment networks (related to stablecoins, agentic commerce, fraud detection, and other data services) which are growing at even faster rates.

With massive gains of 357% over the past year, Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) has emerged as a top semiconductor play due to the company's fast-improving financial health and its growing influence in artificial intelligence (AI) chips.
However, Intel stock has slipped 25% from the 52-week high it reached on June 30. The company will release its second-quarter 2026 earnings report after the market closes on July 23, and there is a good chance the stock will regain momentum, thanks to a recent revelation from foundry giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing.

Monday.com's stock has fallen more than 70% on fears that AI coding tools will make its workflow software obsolete, despite recent gains since April.
Recent earnings show revenue grew 24% year-over-year with record operating profit and gross retention, contradicting the bearish narrative about AI disruption.
Monday.com is embracing agentic AI through a new seats-plus-credits pricing model, a $550 million buyback, and trades at a much lower valuation than last year.

Arrakis, a seven-month old London- and Paris-based startup building what it calls an AI "operating system" for industrial companies, is emerging from stealth with $38 million in venture capital funding. It says its goal is to bring agentic AI to sectors such aerospace, energy, logistics, and manufacturing.

The company's latest funding is a $30 million Series A led by Blossom Capital, with participation from venture capital firms Accel, GFC, MainObject, and Rerail. Accel led an earlier $7.5 million seed round, and individual backers include Datadog CEO Olivier Pomel and OpenAI's head of business products, Olivier Godement.

The latest round values the company at $140 million post-money, cofounder and CEO Rafael Quintanilla told Fortune.

Quintanilla is a former vice president at Accel. While there, he spent the better part of a year crisscrossing the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East to develop the firm's thesis on defense and industrial resilience. What he found convinced him to quit and become a founder himself.
"I realized that there was a huge gap between what I was seeing at Accel and in the Valley, with us investing in companies like Anthropic and Lovable in Europe," he said, "and what I was seeing in the more industrial parts of the economy."

He said that most AI has targeted so-called knowledge workers who complete their jobs using software, but that many more jobs in the economy involve the production and movement of physical goods. "Most AI investment to date has targeted the 30% of workers behind a desk. The real ROI lies in the 70% running industrial operations," he said.
Sonali de Rycker, the Accel partner who backed Arrakis's seed round, said she is betting on the founder as much as the market. "Rafa has a rare combination of curiosity, hustle and tireless drive," she told Fortune. "After working closely with Rafa during his time at Accel, it's an honour to be working with him again as an entrepreneur."
But Arrakis is hardly alone in going after manufacturing and industrial firms. Consulting giants such as Accenture and Boston Consulting Group are racing into industrial AI, as is Palantir, and Jeff Bezos-backed Prometheus—now valued in the tens of billions of dollars—is pouring capital into automating the engineering of physical products. The frontier labs are circling too.
Quintanilla argues Arrakis is carving out a distinct niche from each of these competitors. If Prometheus worked with Airbus, he said, it would build AI for "the core engineering of building an aircraft." He said Arrakis, by contrast, "want[s] to take care of everything around it… We want to be the AI layer for key operations of those companies."

If generative AI is a potential game-changer for finance, agentic AI, which acts proactively rather than reactively, is even more so. But most CFOs say they feel pressed to deploy agents more quickly than is practicable.
That's according to a June survey of 1,505 CFOs and other senior finance leaders in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and India who had deployed, piloted or actively evaluated AI agents in the previous 12 months.
The research, performed by Censuswide, was commissioned by Avalara, an interested party because it's a provider of agentic tax and compliance software. However, the findings are eye-opening nonetheless.
An overwhelming majority of those polled, 92%, said they're under significant (50%) or moderate (42%) pressure to demonstrate ROI from AI agents, and 71% said the pressure is entirely or mostly around deployment speed.

UiPath (NYSE:PATH), an artificial intelligence (AI) robotic and automation software provider, closed at $12.04, down 0.99%. Recent investment reports that put the spotlight on UiPath's customer demand could have put it in focus, while investors will be watching the next earnings call for guidance and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) trends.
Trading volume reached 175.3 million shares, coming in about 235% above its three-month average of 52.3 million shares. UiPath IPO'd in 2021 and has fallen 832 since going public.
S&P 500 (SNPINDEX:^GSPC) rose 0.89% to 7,509, and the Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX:^IXIC) gained 1.29% to 25,837. Among application software peers focused on enterprise automation, Appian closed at $25.35, down 2.61%, and Pegasystems closed at $30.94, down 2.27%.
UiPath slipped slightly today, but the increased trading volume suggests the stock is on investor radars. It has gained 17% in the past month as investors begin to re-enter the software-as-a-service sector, thinking this year's dramatic sell-off could have been overblown. While there was no direct UiPath news, a Zacks report yesterday highlighted continued demand for its services and rising ARR.
UiPath uses AI to automate repetitive tasks, but the risk is that clients will eventually be able to integrate AI-driven automation without needing an intermediary like UiPath to help them. Last week it announced a deal with UK-based online retailer, The Very Group, to provide agentic AI pricing, demonstrating commercial demand. However, it is a competitive and rapidly evolving **** e, and **** ysts are concerned that UiPath isn't growing fast enough.

Fred Alger Management, an investment management company, released its "Alger Small Cap Focus Fund" second-quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. U.S. equities experienced a strong recovery in Q2 2026, with the S&P 500 Index gaining 15.2%, marking its best quarter since 2020. A ceasefire between the United States and Iran and accelerated investment in artificial intelligence (AI) fueled market optimism in the quarter, driving the Information Technology and Industrials sectors forward while Energy and Utilities lagged due to falling oil and gas prices. In June, the Federal Reserve maintained steady interest rates, but the meeting had a hawkish tone. As AI transitions into its agentic phase, opportunities are identified within sectors adopting the technology. The Alger Small Cap Focus Fund's Class A shares outperformed the Russell 2000 Growth Index in the quarter, driven by strong performances in the Industrials and Health Care sectors, while Financials and Consumer Discretionary detracted from the performance. As AI systems become larger and more complex, the need to move data quickly and efficiently between servers, GPUs, and networking equipment has become increasingly important. We believe Credo benefits from this growing connectivity challenge, with an expanding product portfolio that gives the company multiple opportunities to support next-generation data center architectures. During the quarter, shares contributed positively to performance as investors responded favorably to the company's rapid revenue growth and rising demand from hyperscale customers. (NASDAQ:FBRX) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing FB102, an anti-CD122 monoclonal antibody with potential application across a range of autoimmune conditions, including celiac disease, vitiligo, and alopecia areata. We view Forte favorably given the differentiated mechanism underlying FB102 and its potential applicability across multiple sizeable indications, supported by encouraging early celiac data and a series of meaningful clinical readouts anticipated through the balance of the year. Shares detracted from performance during the quarter, pressured by an equity raise whose limited initial disclosure was poorly received, as well as by growing investor impatience as anticipated vitiligo data extended beyond the previously communicated timeline. Despite a challenging quarter, we remain constructive ahead of the celiac readout expected later this year and cautiously optimistic on the forthcoming vitiligo results. We believe FB102 retains meaningful strategic value as its clinical profile comes into clearer focus."

July 21 (Reuters) - Alphabet faces heightened scrutiny from investors as a delay in the launch of a model key to its AI ‌ambitions adds to worries over the payoff from massive data-center spending, months after raising ‌expectations with a blockbuster quarter for cloud sales.
The Google parent — set to report second-quarter results on Wednesday — has delayed from June the launch of its next flagship model, Gemini 3.5 Pro, built especially to catch up with rivals in the lucrative market for AI coding tools and agentic AI tasks.
The setback has raised concerns as Chinese open-source models increasingly challenge top U.S. labs for customers amid growing worries about steep AI ‌bills that have also fanned fears that Big Tech could be over-building capacity.
"While Google is missing the boat on AI coding and that's a very real growing concern ... Google's strategy is all about the ecosystem," said Dave Wagner, portfolio manager at Aptus Capital Advisors.

The company's opportunity is tied to expanding adoption of its commercial products while advancing a pipeline aimed at areas of meaningful unmet medical need. During the quarter, shares detracted from performance despite headline results that were generally better than expected, as investors focused on early launch dynamics for Brinsupri.
