Subscription revenue was also up 39%, reaching $21 million. Apart from the 45% GBV expansion, a 34% growth was witnessed in Q2 Payment Volume which stood at $1.3 billion. Nebraska volleyball schedule 2026: Dates, times, TV channels, live streams for Huskers home and away matches originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Fall sports season is back, which means it's time for women's college volleyball. As always, one of the nation's top programs is ready to dominate — get ready for Nebraska to hit the court.
Even with a lethal core squad, the Huskers fell short of a ***** le last year, losing to eventual champions Texas A&M in the Elite Eight. Prior to the regional final, Nebraska had sat strongly at the top of the national polls as it won 33 consecutive matches.
But a curtain call is looming for this era of Nebraska volleyball, as many of the program's star players are heading into their senior year. Outside hitter Harper Murray, middle blocker Andi Jackson, setter Bergen Reilly and libero Laney Choboy will all have an extra sense of determination as they look to secure a national ***** le before graduating.
Nebraska ranked No. 1 in the preseason AVCA coaches poll. Can Dani Busboom-Kelly lead the Huskers to a ***** le in her second year at the helm?

The useful part of these matchup conversations is figuring out which players outside the obvious tier have a chance to outkick their ranking and give you more than the market is pricing in. That's what we're looking at here.
Every player on this list sits outside the top 10 at his position in both Yahoo Sports' Week 1 half-PPR consensus rankings and FantasyPros' half-PPR Expert Consensus Rankings. From there, I'm looking at the matchup and the higher-end outcomes from my projection model.
Join a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2026 NFL season
The boom and nuke percentages come from my simulation model. Boom thresholds are 27 points for quarterbacks, 24 for running backs and wide receivers and 20 for tight ends. Nuke thresholds are 35, 33, 34 and 28, respectively.
Yahoo: QB13 | ECR: QB16 | My projection: QB13 Boom: 10% | Nuke: 1% | Hit: 41%

During a September 8 episode of Mad Money, Jim Cramer examined the broader aerospace ecosystem following GE Aerospace's (NYSE:GE) nearly $12 billion agreement to acquire castings specialist Consolidated Precision Products (CPP). Commenting on the strategic importance of supply chain control and the enduring strength of commercial and defense aviation despite rising oil prices, Cramer stated:
I still believe in the data center, but I also want to open your eyes to other opportunities. This morning, for example, GE Aerospace spent nearly $12 billion to buy a castings company called Consolidated Precision Products to integrate this key segment into its supply chain. It's vital for both commercial aircraft and particularly defense, both of which are booming. Now, on a day where oil's up, you might not want to focus on anything airline related, but travel's been booming the whole time, the whole time the Iranian war's been going on. This acquisition will pay off quickly for GE, making it more likely that they can accelerate production. This is also good news, therefore, for Boeing, a huge customer of GE that needs to boost its production speed.
GE is relatively close to its highs, deservedly so. Boeing? Nowhere near its high. Yet the order book is full. Last week, there was this negative article about how Boeing is being hurt by the problem-filled Spirit AeroSystems acquisition. It made that one two years ago. But that actually had to be done because Boeing, like GE Aerospace, needs to get better control of its supply chain. Aha, you say, who needs that kind of problem? Boeing just reported its slowest deliveries in 4 months. I come back and say, wait a second. First, the problems from the Spirit deal are now behind them. You know what? The story is actually old news.
Plus, CEO Kelly Ortberg has made it clear that orders would be lumpy. I knew that. And look, I know the high price of oil, particularly jet fuel, is bad news for the airlines. But the higher price of fuel also makes these new engines and airplanes far more valuable than before. Why? They're way more energy efficient. It's a good situation that has nothing to do with the data center. It does require more, better tech that AI can help with.
GE Aerospace (NYSE:GE) and The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) represent two distinct pillars of the aerospace manufacturing ecosystem, operating at massive commercial scale. GE Aerospace reported second-quarter revenue of $13.3 billion, up 21% year-over-year, driven by strong commercial engine services and record internal shop visit output. Its total order backlog extends past $210 billion, supported by sustained airline demand for propulsion systems and aftermarket maintenance.

The artificial intelligence (AI) boom is fueling a nuclear renaissance. For the industry to grow, massive amounts of energy-intensive compute power will need to be built. As a low-carbon, high-baseload energy source, nuclear power is a promising solution.
NuScale Power (NYSE: SMR) is the only small modular reactor (SMR) developer in the U.S. approved by regulators to construct an SMR facility. SMRs are ideal for the AI data center build-out, given that they can be built more quickly and at a lower cost than conventional nuclear plants. This smaller footprint allows an SMR to be constructed near the data center infrastructure itself.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
Despite growth potential, NuScale shares are down 40% this year. Skepticism is reasonable. Only two SMR systems currently exist worldwide. NuScale has never commercialized any of its SMR designs. Plus, the company already experienced a sizable failure in 2023 when its biggest customer (at the time) canceled its project.
While NuScale operates in an industry that should see long-term growth, the nuclear stock's future may hinge on a single upcoming catalyst.

If there's one thing you learn after a few seasons of New York Fashion Week, it's that the shows are only half the fun. Sure, everyone spends the day running from runway to runway, but once the sun goes down, the fashion crowd has an entirely different schedule to keep. There are dinners, ****** tail parties, store openings, after-parties—and, inevitably, some nights that go much later than planned.
The spring/summer 2027 season is officially underway, and so is the party circuit. Things kicked off on September 8, when Siegelman Stable hosted a dinner at Pendry Manhattan West, where Carmelo Anthony, US Open semifinalist Frances Tiafoe, and New York Knicks guard Tyler Kolek, fresh off the team's championship season, all made appearances.
But the following night really got things going. On September 9, Bulgari brought Dua Lipa, Lisa, and Anne Hathaway to the High Line for a special Serpenti Infinito unveiling before the festivities moved to Boom. Lipa arrived at the after-party with her new husband, Callum Turner, and later hit the dance floor with Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams. Elsewhere in the city, Ugg and Willy Chavarria toasted the global launch of their collaboration at Ray's, while Coach followed its 85th-anniversary runway show with a club-style after-party of its own. Not bad for the first two nights—and the fashion week social calendar is only getting busier from here.
Ahead, find the best photos from New York Fashion Week's parties, dinners, and late-night celebrations, with plenty more to come as the week unfolds.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has created trillions of dollars' worth of value for some of America's largest organizations over the last few years, but not every company in this booming industry has been a winner. C3.ai (NYSE: AI) stock, for instance, is down 22% in 2026 (as of the market close last Friday, Sept. 4), as investors abandon ship over the company's declining revenue and steep losses.
Last September, C3.ai's founder, Thomas Siebel, stepped down from his role as CEO to focus on his health issues. Since he played a central role in the sales and customer relationship management processes, his departure led to a sharp decline in the company's revenue.

Fortunately, Siebel returned to lead C3.ai in May, and he is determined to get things back on track. Is it time for investors to start buying the stock?
Developing AI software applications from scratch can be extremely expensive, and it requires specialized technical expertise. Not every business has those resources, so they rely on service providers like C3.ai that can deliver turnkey solutions. But C3.ai's business model is changing -- it still has a portfolio of ready-made AI apps, but it's also becoming a platform provider.

For guests heading toward the Boom Boom Room for Bulgari's New York Fashion Week party, a surprise detour awaited them: the night actually began up on the High Line.
There, Bulgari ambassadors Anne Hathaway and Lisa glimmered in jewels as a small crowd gathered for the unveiling of Bulgari's "AuruBoros." Curator Beatrice Galilee took to the mic to give some context for the installation, which was created by Berlin-based artistic duo Plastique Fantastique (Marco Canevacci and Yena Young).

Data centers will need a lot more electricity. That's the takeaway from Goldman Sachs research published Sept. 1, 2026, which estimates U.S. data center power demand could approach 108 gigawatts by 2030.
That surge creates opportunities not only for utilities that deliver power to the grid, like American Electric Power (NASDAQ: AEP), but also for companies that manage power and heat inside the data center, like Vertiv (NYSE: VRT). Here's how these industrials stocks can help you profit from the artificial intelligence (AI) power boom.

American Electric Power is one of the country's leading utilities, serving millions of customers across 11 states. It also operates the largest transmission network, which puts it in a prime spot to capture rising demand from data centers for more high-voltage lines and additional power supply.
AEP now has 69 gigawatts of contracted load additions through 2030, up from 63 gigawatts disclosed in the first quarter. That increase highlights growing customer commitments and supports the case that data center demand is durable.

I feel like I spend half of my hours dreaming about the San Francisco offense these days. Of course, I spend the other half sweating in a panic.
This is life with fantasy football's most boom/bust depth chart. And we have plenty to be nervous about as the 49ers get ready for their Thursday night opener against the Rams, coming live from Australia, with several stars on the injury report.
Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2026 NFL season
The perks with San Francisco are obvious. Kyle Shanahan is a brilliant coach, Brock Purdy a plus quarterback and Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle and Mike Evans all look like Hall of Famers. Of course those last three vets are all back-nine players, too — McCaffrey enters his age-30 season, while it's an age-33 lap for Kittle and Evans.
Injury concerns come standard with all three. Kittle tore his Achilles in January. Evans was a limited player all summer, managing a groin injury. It's possible Kittle will have a slow open to the season, and Evans also has to be handled carefully, though I suspect he'll at least repay this summer draft cost.

YTD, it appreciated 5.37%, net of fees, and the S&P 500 Index gained 10.21%. The letter can be downloaded here. Despite geopolitical uncertainties, share prices surged higher as emerging prospects for a ceasefire in the Middle East restored market composure and investor optimism for continued earnings growth in the second half of the year. Volatility in share prices was noted, particularly tied to industrial trends like AI, with comparisons made to the internet boom and personal computer adoption. Despite concerns about extreme valuations and potential corrections, the conclusion is that strong earnings growth is fundamental to rising share prices, emphasizing the importance of investing in robust businesses. Timely enough off the heels of the Labor Day holiday yesterday, the NHL's new collective bargaining agreement, the labor rules agreed to by the NHL and the NHLPA, kicks in next week. The new agreement is in place through September 2030, marking the second time in a row the two sides have put a deal in place without missing any time. That's no small matter, prior to the recent labor peace the NHL owners have locked out the players in 2004 and 2012 for significant periods that cost a total of 116 games.
These days, fortunately for all, there is more cooperation and perhaps about the best working relationship between the owners and players that we have seen in hockey. Those good feelings are no doubt influenced by business as a whole booming – revenue is way up so their is more money to be made by both sides. Further, ownership is absolutely swimming in vastly increased valuation and sale prices lately – look no further than the Penguins selling for $1.75 billion in 2026 after selling for $900 million just five years earlier.
The new CBA had some rules come on board early for last season – like LTIR tweaks and the playoff salary cap. Here are a few more interesting tweaks in place.
Training camps open Sept. 16 to coincide with the start of that new labor deal, and they'll look much different than they did in the past. Experienced players will be put through only a 13-day camp, down from 20 days, and those with at least 100 NHL games on their resumes are now limited to two exhibition games. Each team will play only four exhibition games.
The preseason shrinks again, at least formally. Most players across the league are already skating informally with their teammates and have been for a week or more by this point. That amount of time in the pre-practice stage will now be longer than the formal, official 13-day training camp. Long gone are the days of multiple on-ice sessions per day. In fact, teams can also no longer implement fitness testing for unpopular tests on the exercise bike or the so-called dreaded bag skate or repetitive timed sprints.

You've got to hand it to Miami: The Hurricanes' social media team nailed this post on X (formerly Twitter) after Florida State dealt with a power outage at Doak Campbell Stadium on Monday night that delayed the Seminoles' contest against SMU.
The game eventually started at 9:15 p.m. ET with some limits that included no PA announcer and no use of the scoreboard.
Miami's admins decided to have some fun with it with a simple tweet: "The lights are ON at our house," they wrote. "See YOU at Hard Rock [Stadium] on Thursday."
Boom, roasted. Here's the post Miami put up:
Some people did point out that Hard Rock technically isn't only their house with the NFL's Miami Dolphins playing there, but that's beside the point. This is some good ol' fashioned social media trolling and we're here for it.

In its early years, Chinese battery leader CATL focused on electric vehicles (EVs), riding the explosive growth of the global e-mobility market. The company has since taken a turn, aggressively expanding its energy storage business with a target for storage to generate 50% of its global sales by 2030.
Today, CATL stands as one of the world's largest grid storage suppliers, powering megaprojects such as Synergy's 2.4GW-hour (GWh) Collie Battery in Australia and the 1.4GWh Gemini Solar-Plus-Storage project in Nevada, US.
In an exclusive interview with Power Technology, CATL's managing director of Western Europe, Hank Zhao, and chief technology officer of AC (alternating current) systems, Bruce Li, share how they translate learnings from the company's automotive history to its stationary storage unit. They also discuss the operational realities of energy storage leadership, executive decision-making in a fast-changing industry, and bridging the gap between Chinese technology and European markets.
Hank Zhao (HZ): I joined the company's EV business in 2010 and stayed there for 11 years before moving to the energy storage unit in mid-2021.
When the company was founded, it started with e-mobility and stationary storage as its two main business directions. But I think before 2020, the business scale of storage was much smaller than for EVs, and we didn't see as many opportunities. Then from 2021, there was a rapid boom in demand for energy storage, especially in markets like the US and China.

The S&P 500 (SNPINDEX:^GSPC) and the Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX:^IXIC) have advanced 13% and 14%, respectively, year to date. The driving force behind those double-digit gains has been strong earnings growth, particularly among technology companies involved in the artificial intelligence infrastructure build-out.
However, by one valuation measure, the stock market is repeating a pattern last seen during the dot-com bubble. Is the AI boom destined to end in a catastrophic market crash? Of course, no one can predict the future, but here's what investors should know.

Synopsys (SNPS), a leading provider of software used to design, verify, and test semiconductor chips, remains one of the most dominant players in electronic design automation (EDA). Its EDA software and semiconductor intellectual property (IP) solutions play a critical role in the development of increasingly sophisticated chips.

The chief executive of Robinhood (HOOD) said on Bloomberg Television late last month that states suing to shut down prediction markets are protecting their own money. "States disagree for various reasons," Vlad Tenev said. "I mean, number one is there's a huge financial incentive from collecting taxes on these state-owned operators for that to be protected."

Adobe (ADBE) shareholders should circle Thursday, Sept. 10, on their calendars. The company will release its third-quarter fiscal 2026 results after the market closes that day, followed by a conference call with investors from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific Time. This report arrives at a pivotal moment for one of the software industry's most closely watched names.
Adobe heads into the report with considerable operational momentum. In fiscal Q2, Adobe generated record revenue of $6.62 billion, up 13% year-over-year (YOY). Just as notably, Adobe's AI-first annual recurring revenue (ARR) more than tripled YOY to exceed $500 million, offering an increasingly tangible sign that its investments in AI products are beginning to produce meaningful recurring revenue.

CrowdStrike (CRWD) looks like one of the strongest growth stories in cybersecurity right now. It had a lot to prove in the fiscal second-quarter earnings. The company delivered on all three numbers that I flagged ahead of the Q2 print, and in some cases it did much better than expected. And the stock's massive 90% gains so far this year reflect that outstanding performance.

Costco (COST) shoppers kept spending through the last weeks of summer, and the numbers back it up. The warehouse giant posted another month of strong sales growth, giving investors plenty of reasons to watch Costco stock heading into Q4 2026.
The retailer's August results, covering the four weeks from Aug. 3 through Aug. 30, showed broad strength across regions and categories. Gas prices played a big role in the headline number, but even without that boost, Costco's core business kept growing at a healthy clip.
