Raquel Lee Bolleau, who began her career in Hollywood as a child actor on shows like The Amanda Show and The Proud Family, is suing Disney, alleging that a former employee raped her in 2001 while she was working on the film The Poof Point.
The actor, now 39, filed the lawsuit on Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court. It accuses Disney of negligence, and further claims that a "middle-aged, male employee" working on the film groomed, ****** ually harassed, and raped her during the production, NBC News reports.
She claims in the lawsuit that the male employee was more than twice her age. The employee was not named in the lawsuit and is referred to as John Doe.
The male employee allegedly gave Bolleau alcohol and ****** aulted her while the cast of the film was in Salt Lake City and again on a flight from Salt Lake City back to California.
According to the lawsuit, the film's director, Neal Israel — who also directed the 1984 Tom Hanks film Bachelor Party and wrote for the sequel to Look Who's Talking, ****** led Look Who's Talking Too — allegedly told Bolleau to "bond with, get close to, and trust" the male employee.

Shaquille O'Neal may never realize his dream of being a part of Marvel's Avengers.
In a recent interview with Variety, the NBA legend says that because his personal brand overshadows his characters, he has officially laid his Marvel ambitions to rest.
"I wanted to be in the Avengers, and they were like, 'Shaq, we f—in' love you and we'd love to put you in, but if your face pops up on screen, people are going to go, 'Hey, that's Shaq!' O'Neal said. "He said it truthfully, and I was like, alright… I guess my face is too bigtime."
O'Neal also shared that his fame has cost him other opportunities.
"I would love to do more action roles, but we were told by top Hollywood executives that I'm too big, and what they mean by that is when I pop up on the screen everyone will go, 'Oh, that's Shaq!' " he explained. "So, if I'm trying to play a doctor or anything, my character won't be believable."

The San Francisco 49ers have been a battered squad, but received some good news that one of their key players is eyeing a return.
San Francisco's George Kittle has been optimistic about his return from an Achilles injury he suffered in the 49ers' wild card-round win over the Philadelphia Eagles, eyeing a potential return date of Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season; the Niners kick off their season in Melbourne, Australia to face NFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Rams.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Kittle's recovery timeline is "ahead of schedule," further clarifying his Week 1 status.
"Kittle visited Wednesday in Los Angeles with renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed the surgery on his torn Achilles in January. It was said to be an encouraging visit," Schefter said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). "Kittle's recovery is ahead of schedule, and it gives him a legitimate chance to play in the regular season opener in Australia against the Los Angeles Rams."
The 32-year-old tight end is currently listed on the roster's physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Just a month ago, Kittle was seen deadlifting 665 pounds as he worked to return from a torn Achilles injury.

After falling just one game short of the postseason last year, the Charlotte Hornets still hold the longest current playoff drought in the NBA, which spans back to the 2015-16 season. However, in four offseason trades, the Hornets added plenty of playoff experience.
Between the trio of Pat Connaughton, Grant Williams and Coby White, they've combined for 152 games of playoff experience. That said, four of their main additions have an abundance of playoff minutes as well. Charlotte's most recent addition, Dennis Schroder, has appeared in 91 career playoff games. Veteran wing Royce O'Neale has played in 52 playoff games. Naz Reid has played in 48 playoff contests while Grayson Allen has suited up in 28. Lastly, 3-and-D wing Dorian Finney-Smith has played in 44 postseason matchups as well.
Not only will this added experience aid the Hornets in pursuit of the postseason, but these veterans will also be able to mentor Charlotte's young core headlined by Brandon Miller and Kon Knueppel that has yet to reach the playoffs.

The Philadelphia 76ers will have a lot of expectations placed upon them in the 2026-27 season after they swung a huge deal to acquire Jaylen Brown and then landed LeBron James in free agency. That star duo will join established stars such as Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid.
Embiid seems like the forgotten man at times when considering the talent around him now. Of course, that's what happens when injuries take a toll, but the big fella is still as dominant as they come when he is on the floor. The 2023 MVP winner was a huge part of the Sixers rallying from 3-1 to eliminate the Boston Celtics in Round 1 and will be a big part of any success they have in the coming season.
Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal has high expectations for the new-look Sixers, but for Embiid, specifically, he wants to see him wrestle the best big man ***** le away from Nikola Jokic:
Championship or bust. You got the great LeBron. You got great Embiid, who was, like three or four years ago, Charles (Barkley) and I would always say how he's the best big man. If Embiid is really healthy, then it changes everything for the Sixers on the floor. He is still such a dominant big man who can do nearly everything on offense and be a force on the defensive end. Philadelphia's hopes hinge on Embiid's health.

In their first meeting, American Amanda Anisimova defeated Alexandra Eala in three sets at the 2026 Cincinnati Open.
Anisimova struggled at times, dropping the first set. The pinnacle of that set was a 20 minute game in the fifth game. Eala held after 13 deuces.
Eala has had a great summer. Anisimova has played a lot less tennis than Eala this year due to injuries. It was only her second Top 20 win of the year.

Tommy John died on Saturday at age 83, remembered for his astonishing 26 years of pitching in the big leagues and for being the first to undergo the elbow construction surgery that bears his name.
Tyler Kepner quoted Dr. Frank Jobe, who performed the surgery on John in 1974, in his obituary of John for The Athletic:
"We did a little surgery, but the man did all the hard work," Jobe said at a Hall of Fame ceremony honoring his medical career in 2013, the year before he died at age 88. "His tenacity and unique intelligence enabled us to develop the rehab program that has lasted the test of time."
In his obituary of John, Joe Posnanski asked, "What pitcher in the last 75 years has changed the game more?"
Beth Harris in the ****** ociated Press quoted Dr. Neal ElAttrache from 2024: "If you put it in dollars and cents, I think there's no question that Tommy John is the most valuable reconstructive procedure there is."

From 70 to 50. The PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Playoffs rolls on to Week 2 of the postseason and now just 50 golfers remain.
The second leg of the playoffs takes the Tour to Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis for the BMW Championship, the lone playoff event to be played at a different venue each season. The postseason started with 70 golfers and only Sungjae Im, who finished T-5 and surged from No. 53 at the start of the week, to No. 40, did enough at the FedEx St. Jude Championship to get through to the next week. And if Im moved up, that means someone also had to move down, and Keith Mitchell was the odd-man out.
Maverick McNealy entered the week as the "Bubble Boy," and he did just enough to hang on, shooting 1-under 69 on Sunday and finishing T-19. He advanced at No. 49.
"Much happier trip not going to the airport and just driving a car up the river," McNealy said. "I think the top 50 number is probably the most important number on the PGA Tour right now. I'm excited to get to St. Louis and just take a Hail Mary swing to see if I can get into the Tour Championship, which is the goal every year."
The last man to qualify for the BMW was Matt McCarty, who finished 50th, less than 8 points ahead of Mitchell.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Maverick McNealy had an American Airlines flight home to Las Vegas on Sunday evening, just like he did two years ago when he ran up against the top-50 bubble at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
In 2024, he arrived in Memphis 59th in points and came up short (53rd) in his quest to advance to the BMW Championship and, more importantly, qualify for the '25 signature events.
This time he was 50th to start the week and spent most of the final round teetering on the edge of the bubble until he birdied two of his last seven holes to move to 49th on the points list. With his spot at the BMW Championship secured, McNealy canceled his flight home.
"[His brother and caddie] Scout is going to extend his rental car, and we're going to drive up the river tomorrow morning [to St. Louis, Missouri]. So, I'm very happy to be canceling that flight tonight," McNealy smiled.
Unlike last year's volatility, when five players played their way into the top 50 in Memphis, just one player, Sungae Im, managed to climb inside the number, thanks to a fifth-place finish at TPC Southwind. That left Keith Mitchell, who began the week at 49th on the list, on the outside of the top 50 after his tie for 34th.

49ers tight end George Kittle is on the active/physically unable to perform list. He has confidence he won't be moved to the reserve/PUP list at the start of the season.
"Very confident," Kittle said Sunday, via David Bonilla of 49erswebzone.com. "Sooner than later."
Kittle would miss at least the first four games if he isn't activated back to the active roster on Aug. 30. He continues to target the season opener for his return.
"I'm just going to keep that as my goal, and then we'll adjust from there if we need to," Kittle said. "But I still believe that. My team still believes that. My surgeon still believes I have a chance. So, just keep attacking it."
Kittle tore his right Achilles in a Jan. 11 playoff game against the Eagles. He underwent surgery three days later, with Rams team physician Dr. Neal ElAttrache repairing Kittle's Achilles.

With temperatures forecast to be back over 100, the golfers hoping to hang onto or snare a spot in the top 50 of the standings will have plenty to fight against. Sungjae Im can't afford to fall off after his impressive start; tied for second at 11 under through three rounds, the Korean has risen from 53rd to 35th. He and Sam Burns, who shot a blistering 8 under in Round 3, enter play today two strokes behind leader Scottie Scheffler.
The other name to watch on the bubble is Brian Harman, who comes in tied for sixth with Hideki Matsuyama, Si Woo Kim and Alex Noren six shots back. Former Alabama shortstop Justin Lebron continues to impress at the start of his professional baseball career.
After an impressive debut, Lebron was back in action this past Friday night for the Cincinnati Reds' High-A affiliate, the Daytona Dragons, and during the game, hit the first home run of his professional career. The solo shot came in the fourth inning for Daytona, hitting a no-doubter down the left field line.
Through the first four games of his professional career with Daytona, Lebron is 6-for-16 offensively with a home run, one RBI, and one stolen base. Lebron has also doubled once, scored three runs, and owns an impressive 1.037 OPS.
Selected by Cincinnati with the No. 18 overall pick in the 2026 MLB draft, Lebron currently ranks as the Reds' No. 3 overall prospect, per MLB Pipeline. Lebron is joined by fellow 2026 draft pick Brady Neal among the former Alabama players currently in the Reds organization.

We're almost there -- the New Orleans Saints released their first unofficial depth chart ahead of Saturday's preseason game with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and for the most part, it's what you expect. The starting offensive line looks like what we've seen at training camp. It's the same pecking order at running back with Kendre Miller at RB3, even while he's missed several days of practice reps with an injury. Backups like Audric Estime and Devin Neal need to do more with their own reps to unseat him (and in Neal's case, also get healthy). But there are some points of note and takeaways from this first depth chart. It's important to remember this is an unofficial document made for media purposes, not a set-in-stone reflection of how the team is operating at practice every day. Coaches are going to stack some of these positions differently.
And here is what we learned:
There isn't much of a buffer between Simpkins (an undrafted free agent last year) and Wright (a rookie fourth-round pick) and the opportunity to play under the bright lights. Both backups are listed on the second-string offense behind Erik McCoy and Cesar Ruiz, respectively. And that's before Dillon Radunz goes on injured reserve. The Saints listed Radunz as the backup left guard but he's been practicing ahead of Wright until his recent knee injury. We may see William Sherman get the nod in a pinch, but look for Wright to log a ton of snaps this preseason.
This may not be too surprising if you've been keeping up with the daily highlight reels from practice, but being drafted in Round 6 doesn't mean you're a slam dunk to make the team. Brown followed that up by making some big catches in team drills, routinely getting open in one-on-one sessions, and standing out during special teams periods. He's listed as the immediate backup behind Chris Olave on the second-team offense as well the primary returner on both punts and kickoffs. He's still behind Jordyn Tyson and Devaughn Vele, sure. Brown is on the fast track to not just make the 53-man roster but to see meaningful snaps on Sundays.
The workload for respected veterans like Cameron Jordan and Alvin Kamara has been obvious. Jordan practiced with the second-string defense behind Chase Young and Carl Granderson (before his hamstring injury flared up) while Kamara mainly worked in passing situations and third downs with Travis Etienne Jr. seeing early-down work. Both of them have taken a backseat to new arrivals and younger teammates. But that isn't reflected on this unofficial depth chart. Jordan is listed as a starter with Young "or" Granderson starting at the other edge rusher spot. Kamara has the same "or" designation with Etienne. It's a symbol of respect for the vets but it doesn't reflect the team's plans for them. Young and Etienne are going to play as many snaps as they can handle.

Filipina tennis star Alexandra Eala may be out of the National Bank Open, but she and the Filipino fans brought the best energy to this tournament which desperately needed it. She is currently enjoying well-deserved rest after busy weeks of tennis in DC and Toronto.
Eala will enter the Cincinnati Open potentially seeded as high as World No. 17 after her amazing summer run that included the WTA 500 win at the Mubadala DC Open a couple weeks ago.
In the meantime, her latest social media post exposes a less intense and lighter side to her personality. A familiar tennis face makes a cameo appearance.

Eala is enjoying ice cream when Coco Gauff appears in the video. It's no surprise that Eala and Gauff are friendly. They played doubles together last year at the Italian Open.

The Seattle Seahawks are back on the practice field Monday, as they prepare for the 2026 season and defending their ******* le as reigning World Champions after stomping the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX.
The first on-field action against another team will come on Saturday when the Seahawks host the Dallas Cowboys at Lumen Field to open the preseason, and ahead of that matchup a handful of members of the roster returned to practice after having been held out the last for days for a variety of reasons.
The return to practice of Jake Bobo, Julian Neal, Jamie Sherriff and Mike Morris is obviously good news, as is the news from Corbin Smith that offensive linemen Mason Richman and Logan Brown are back at work after getting dinged up during the team scrimmage Saturday.
Of course, as good as the news that Brown and Richman are suited up is, the fact that there is no sign of Jadarian Price during warmups is not great. Price has been held out of practice the last few days with lower-body soreness, but is expected to be back in action sometime soon. Of course, the longer the absence continues for the Seahawks first round pick, the more questions fans will raise about exactly how sore he is and what might be causing it.

New week, new cut-off to advance in the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
Seventy players made it to Memphis (but only 69 are playing after Daniel Berger opted out) and the first of three legs at TPC Southwind in pursuit of the FedEx Cup and the gigantic payday that awaits the overall champion. Only 50 will move on from the St. Jude to the BMW Championship, which will be staged in St. Louis at Bellerive Country Club this year.
That makes Maverick McNealy the new "Bubble Boy" at No. 50 with Jordan Spieth, Max Homa and Jackson Koivun among the pros on the outside looking in who have work to do if they are going to advance.
This is arguably the biggest week of the playoffs because of what is at stake — the top 50 not only make their way to the next playoff event and another guaranteed payday but they lock up spots in all of the signature events for 2027. Being in those eight events offers a big head start for the 2027 season.
Here's a closer look at the cutline entering this week's no-cut, 72-hole event and what the minimum required finish for those players on the outside looking in of the top 50 to mathematically pass McNealy.
