Myles Graham has seen Florida's defense flash its potential throughout the season. The challenge now is making that version of the unit show up consistently.
The Gators took an encouraging step at Texas, overcoming a rough opening two drives before settling in and playing some of their best defense of the season. Graham said the unit gained confidence by playing aggressively, especially when Brad White dialed up the pressure, but still has plenty to clean up ahead of a physical matchup with Georgia.
There's no hiding what this week means to Graham. Florida hasn't beaten Georgia since he arrived in Gainesville, and as one of the veterans responsible for explaining the rivalry to younger players, Graham made his feelings clear: enough is enough.
Here's everything Graham had to say ahead of Florida's matchup with Georgia.
I've seen him grow since day one. The talent has always been there. It was just more of him knowing where to be, where to fit. I've just seen him skyrocket from the first day he got here.

Angelique S. Chengelis, Connor Earegood, John Niyo, and Bob Wojnowski of The Detroit News predict the outcome of Saturday's Michigan-Rutgers game at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey (12:30 p.m., Big Ten Network/94.7 FM).
▶ Angelique S. Chengelis: Rutgers coach Greg Schiano has always been tied to defense, but the Scarlet Knights have struggled defensively this season and ranks 128th in scoring. That could make this the "get-right" game for Michigan's offense, which is sorely in need of a confidence-building performance, especially from the run game and offensive line. Michigan's No. 3-ranked defense likely won't have the challenge it was expecting now that Rutgers QB Dylan Lonergan has been ruled out. He left last week's game at Northwestern in the first quarter because of a hit to the head and backup AJ Surace has struggled with six touchdowns against five interceptions this season. Michigan's defensive backs were expected to have their hands full facing 6-foot-6 receiver KJ Duff, but he is "doubtful" for the game, according to the Big Ten availability report. Pick: Michigan, 31-10
▶ Connor Earegood: Rejoice, Jason Beck. You're going to save your job this week. This Michigan offense may be wasting one of the nation's best defenses, but it will get an important tune-up against Rutgers. You know, the Rutgers team that lost to UMass, which is 1-3 in Mid-American Conference play. Oh, Rutgahs. Its availability report suggests some key starters will not play. Its starting QB is hurt, its star receiver is doubtful. A one-read quarterback could probably pick its defense apart at full strength. That's a good opponent for a true freshman in Tommy Carr to face in his second career start, after the **** er of the unknown wore off last week and showed you that maybe, just maybe, it isn't the guy under center who's the problem but rather the guy calling his plays. If Beck takes some inspiration from the Michigan Stadium videoboard and runs the ball between the tackles from time to time, Michigan should roll to an easy win. If it's another stinker, it will make for an interesting crowd in next week's rivalry game. Pick: Michigan, 34-7
▶ John Niyo: If Rutgers can't cure Michigan's offensive woes, nothing will. Greg Schiano's days appear numbered in Piscataway, and the statistical numbers make it obvious why: Rutgers ranks 128th nationally in scoring defense and has given up 161 points in four Big Ten games thus far. Of course, that's more points than the Wolverines have scored in seven games this season. But this defense should be the cure Michigan's inefficient run game needs, and no matter who's playing quarterback, there'll be opportunities to create explosive plays in the pass game. In four Big Ten games, Rutgers already has given up 15 plays of 30-plus yards. Pick: Michigan, 34-16
▶ Bob Wojnowski: There's no such thing as a breather for the Wolverines, with six of their seven games decided on the final possession. Last week's OT loss to Indiana wa

LJ Martin gets optimistic injury update for BYU's Week 10 clash vs. Utah appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
BYU football is picking the pieces up from the stunning UCF loss. That means operating without running back LJ Martin against Arizona State. But Cougar fans received an optimistic update on Martin before BYU faces in-state rival Utah.
So Martin isn't anticipated to be healthy against the Sun Devils. But college football insider Pete Nakos dropped this update that'll grab the attention of Cougar fans.
"Martin has made strong progress in the last two weeks, with sources at the time saying they were hopeful he would be good to go against the Utes, with real confidence growing since then," Nakos wrote.

BENTON — Fairfield senior running back Miguel Gutierrez is an unlikely success story.
He doesn't look like an average football player, as he stands only 5-foot-6 and weighs only 170 pounds.
"I'm pretty small," said Gutierrez.
Past results on the field also didn't suggest that Gutierrez would make a great impact as a football player. He rushed for just 252 yards on 55 carries last year for the Falcons.
But Gutierrez wasn't lacking confidence going into his senior season.

ATLANTA — The thing Angel Reese learned in her first WNBA Finals appearance is that long series still go by fast. What's done is done, and what's to come is for the taking.
Trailing 3-2 in the series, and potentially 40 minutes from the experience ending, she and her Atlanta Dream teammates gathered together ahead of film sessions to talk through what it meant. They needed to gain confidence back following two losses marred by offensive woes. They emphasized how each could take a superstar turn, but everyone was needed.
By the end of the day's film and a final practice ahead of a must-win Game 6, they said they felt good about returning to Atlanta Dream basketball. They proved the talk true immediately.
"You could definitely tell we got our swagger back," Angel Reese said.
The Dream's offense tore out of its funk and past the Golden State Valkyries' suffocating defense in Game 6 on Thursday, a jolt to West Coasters settling in with their breakfast for a 12:30 p.m. ET/9:30 a.m. PT tip-off. The 80-69 win was more dominant than the final score indicated; the Dream led by 25 points with three minutes to go until the half.

The Green Bay Packers have won three straight games, but their running game is still waiting to catch up. Now, Matt LaFleur believes the return of Josh Jacobs could help change that.
Green Bay defeated the Dallas Cowboys 23-13 on Sunday night, improving to 4-2 despite gaining just 57 rushing yards on 26 attempts. Even against a Dallas defense that entered the game ranked last in the NFL against the run, the Packers struggled to move the ball on the ground.
Jacobs is eligible to return next week against the Detroit Lions, and LaFleur is optimistic about what the veteran could bring. He isn't promising an immediate turnaround, though.
After Sunday's victory, LaFleur was asked whether Jacobs can help revive Green Bay's struggling ground attack. His answer carried both optimism and a degree of caution.
"Time will tell. But I do have a lot of confidence that he can provide a spark," LaFleur said, via The Leap's Jason B. Hirschhorn.

Klay Thompson was ice cold in his first preseason with the Miami Heat, but the four-time NBA champion isn't fazed by his shooting struggles heading into the 2026-27 regular season.
Speaking after Sunday's practice at Kaseya Center, Thompson maintained that he expects to shoot at his usual level once the games "count," brushing aside concerns about being too far over the hill entering his age-36 campaign.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra also voiced his confidence in the veteran shooting guard as anticipation builds for Wednesday's season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Brought in over the offseason to help create ***** e around Heat stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo on Miami's revamped roster, Thompson looked out of sorts throughout the preseason, shooting 7-for-26 overall (26.9%) and 3-for-20 from 3-point range (15.0%).
It was a small sample size, as Thompson appeared in four of Miami's five exhibition contests and never played into the second half of any of them as the Heat went 3-2. Still, his shooting blunders went viral on social media, fueling ridicule.

76ers' fatal flaw that will doom 2027 NBA championship chances appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
While the New York Knicks are the defending NBA champions and they should raise their championship banner with the confidence that comes with winning the franchise's first **** le in 53 years, the Philadelphia 76ers appear to be in a position to steal their thunder.
After adding Jaylen Brown and LeBron James in the offseason, the Sixers are the team that **** ody will be able to take their eyes off of as the season gets underway. Many observers believe this dynamic team — that also includes Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe — will be the best in the league.
When it comes to flat-out talent, the Sixers certainly will be able to make a great argument. But things like chemistry, familiarity and defense will also have an impact. One or more of those factors could scuttle Philadelphia's plans to become the best team in the Eastern Conference and the next NBA champions.

The Los Angeles Lakers may be ready for their regular-season opener on Wednesday once it arrives, but they may not be prepared. They were never whole in their five preseason games, of which they won only two, and that could hurt them in the early days and weeks of the regular season.
New starting center Walker Kessler didn't play in the team's first three preseason games. Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves played in only three games apiece, and therefore, Friday's game, which ended with a 121-106 loss to the Denver Nuggets, was the only game in which the three of them shared the court.
Reaves said after that contest that he knows building chemistry together will be a process that won't be easy, but he also expressed confidence that things will get sorted out in time.
"There's gonna be some growing pains," Reaves said. "Just a lack of reps together so far, but you take guys like that, that are that talented, you are more than likely gonna pick up on it sooner than later. We'll continue to grow that over the next couple days and get ready for opening night."
Kessler seemed to take it somewhat easy in his two exhibition appearances, but he looks poised to give Los Angeles the elite rebounding and shot-blocking it lacked last season. He had a total of 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting, 15 rebounds, five ***** ists, three blocks and two steals in 47 minutes during those two contests.

The OKC Thunder agreed to a five-year, $139 million rookie-scale contract extension with Cason Wallace on Sunday. ESPN's Shams Charania first reported the news.
Wallace averaged career highs of 8.6 points and 2.6 **** ists last season on 43.2% shooting from the field (35.1% from deep). He also recorded a league-leading 150 steals and earned an All-Defensive second team selection.
More: Lu Dort reflects on OKC Thunder legacy as 'new chapter' with Atlanta Hawks begins
OKC had until Monday to sign Wallace to a new deal and avoid him hitting restricted free agency next summer. It's a sign of confidence in the 22-year-old guard, who'll serve as the Thunder's top point-of-attack defender now that Lu Dort is gone.
It's also a sign of commitment from OKC's ownership group after the team made cost-cutting moves this summer. The Thunder traded Dort, Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe in three separate deals for a combined seven second-round picks and didn't get any players in return. That helped it position itself $6.9 million underneath the second apron with one standard roster spot still open.

Patriots' Mike Vrabel gets honest about AJ Brown's rusty form in return from injury appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The New England Patriots finally got their star wide receiver AJ Brown back on the field after missing over a month with an ankle sprain he suffered in the season opener. However, he was far from his best as he finished with just three catches on 10 targets for 27 yards with four drops. He also managed to drop an onside kick at the end of the game that the Pats still recovered to end the game.
Brown himself was critical of his poor performance after the game. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel was also honest with his ***** sment of his star receiver's return during the post-game press conference.
"I think he could've probably made a few more plays, come down with a few more plays. He's been out for a while. I know he wanted to do well for his football team. Unfortunately, it wasn't his best effort. I know that and he knows that. We have all the confidence in AJ to finish those plays," Vrabel said.

Despite being told early in her career to alter her appearance, she resisted undergoing a rhinoplasty in part because of the risk it posed to her singing voice, as reported by TODAY.

Kate Bosworth's different-colored eyes have made her stand out in every role she takes on. This rare feature gives her an instantly recognizable appearance and adds an enchanting element to her on-screen presence. She has a naturally occurring condition called heterochromia; one eye is blue while the other is partially hazel — a trait affecting less than one percent of the population, per Optometrists.org.

Ray Fisher became internationally recognizable as the technologically enhanced superhero Cyborg, but his career began far from the world of comic book blockbusters. The American actor developed his craft through theater before making the leap to major Hollywood productions. His upbringing, particularly the influence of his mother and grandmother, helped shape the values he later carried into his professional life. When Fisher encountered difficulties behind the scenes of Justice League, he chose to speak publicly about his experience. That decision became an important part of a career increasingly ****** ociated with both performance and workplace accountability.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Fisher grew up in Lawnside, New Jersey, in a large family raised primarily by his mother and grandmother. He has described both women as his real life superheroes, praising the determination and strength they demonstrated while he was growing up. His interest in acting became serious during high school, when encouragement from a teacher led him to audition for theatrical productions.
Fisher continued developing as a stage performer and eventually established himself in professional theater. One of his most demanding early roles was Muhammad Ali in the Off Broadway production Fetch Clay, Make Man. Preparing to portray the legendary boxer required substantial physical transformation as well as the ability to capture Ali's confidence and personality. The experience demonstrated the discipline Fisher could bring to a role before Hollywood audiences became familiar with him.
His major screen opportunity arrived when Zack Snyder selected him to play Victor Stone, better known as Cyborg, in the DC film universe. Fisher made a brief appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice before receiving a much larger role in Justice League. Production changed significantly after Snyder left the project and Joss Whedon took over during post production. The theatrical version released in 2017 reduced much of Cyborg's original storyline.
In 2020, Fisher publicly accused Whedon of inappropriate and unprofessional behavior during the Justice League reshoots. WarnerMedia subsequently conducted an investigation after Fisher raised concerns involving the production. In December 2020, the company announced that the investigation had concluded and that remedial action had been taken, without publicly detailing what those measures involved.

In her latest Instagram montage, pregnant Ciara treats maternity wear as a fashion playground, moving from slouchy streetwear to sheer black lace in under 20 seconds. Throughout the video, Ciara keeps her baby **** p front and center, and the pregnant styling never feels like an afterthought. Some of her looks drape the **** p in oversized layers, while others put it fully on display.
Ciara owns maternity fashion, and she showcases it with confidence on her social media. The clip plays over "Yes (ATL)", Ciara's single with Young Dro. Her caption reads, "Baby, you a Boss not a Wannabe."
The montage opens with a relaxed look. Ciara wears a black sleeveless zip-up vest over loose black shorts with white side stripes, while chunky black boots and dark sunglasses complete the outfit.
Next comes a sleeker option. Ciara, visibly pregnant here, wears a soft grey maxi dress that traces her baby **** p before flaring outwards at the hem. A faded denim jacket rests on her shoulders, and a chunky chain-link necklace adds edge to the outfit. She also wears a pair of sunglasses and cradles her **** p.
A heavily pregnant Ciara then shows that maternity fashion can lean into grunge as easily as glamor. Her third look is tailored and understated. The 40-year-old poses in a stone courtyard, wearing a black **** on-up shirt, a black miniskirt, and dark loafers.

In 2023, a shareholder stood up at a Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) (BRK.B) annual meeting in Omaha and asked about the future of value investing. Charlie Munger took it: "I think value investors are going to have a harder time now that there are so many of them competing for a diminished bunch of opportunities," he said. "So, my advice to value investors is to get used to making less."
Warren Buffett, sitting next to him, did not let it stand. "And Charlie has been telling me the same thing the whole time we've known each other," he said in the same session. The two men met in 1959.

For decades, Heidi Klum has been one of the world's most recognizable supermodels, captivating fans with her confidence, charisma and timeless beauty.
From her breakthrough days on the runway to her reign as a television star, producer and entrepreneur, the German-born icon has never been afraid to embrace her glamorous side.
Heidi has a refreshing take on her workouts, being that her go-to is N.E.A.T., which stands for Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis.
The philosophy behind it is incorporating exercise into your everyday routine, such as taking the stairs over the elevator, and doing household chores, instead of committing to a dedicated time in the gym.
She revealed to The Times: "I also run around a lot, having four kids. I don't have an ******* istant, so I don't have people pack for me or carry my things, I do everything myself. I eat right, I never exercise too much or do heavy weights. People can push themselves too hard. I listen to my body."

What if I told you that the biggest risk from the next market crash isn't the crash itself? It might be what investors do to their portfolios to try to avoid the crash.
In today's economic environment, there are legitimate reasons for concern. Inflation is high. Oil prices have soared. Interest rates are on the rise. The Shiller CAPE ratio, which measures stock prices relative to inflation-adjusted earnings over the past 10 years, is at its second-highest level of all time.
Missed AI's "Act 1"? Act 2 Could Be 14x Bigger. Most investors think they missed the AI boat because they didn't buy Nvidia in 2005. But according to our ****** ysts, we're only at the end of "Act 1"—the R&D phase. "Act 2" is the global rollout. Continue »
But selling stocks and moving to cash to avoid the decline creates a whole new set of problems. First, you have to be correct in your prediction that a crash is coming and the timing of it. Second, you have to decide when the right time is to get back into stocks (and have the actual discipline to do it).
I'd rather own an ETF that gives me the confidence to remain invested in stocks through the crash.

Wealthy baby boomers have spent decades building their fortunes—and the foundations, donor-advised funds, and giving traditions that come with them. But as the $124 trillion Great Wealth Transfer gets underway, a growing share of the older generation isn't so sure their kids will carry on tradition the way they hope.
Fewer than half of wealthy Americans (47%) believe the next generation is prepared to take on family philanthropic causes, down from 55% in 2024, according to research from Bank of America released last week. The share of parents who believe their children share their commitment to giving back fell even more sharply to 65% from 76%. The bank surveyed more than 1,430 wealthy individuals in the U.S. aged 21 or older with at least $3 million in investable ******* ets, excluding primary residence.
The confidence gap in philanthropy mirrors a broader anxiety wealth advisors have noticed about whether heirs are ready for any of it.
"This is a very real concern I'm hearing from ultra-affluent families right now," Tom Thiegs, managing director of leadership and legacy at Ascent Private Capital Management with U.S. Bank, told Fortune of parents' fears that wealth could dampen their children's drive. Trent Von Ahsen of Cedar Point Capital Partners also told Fortune his clients are leaning on mentorship and phased wealth transfers rather than lump-sum inheritances.
But the irony is younger donors are, by several of the study's measures, more engaged donors than older generations. Gen Z and millennial donors support an average of 12 charitable causes, compared with eight among wealth donors overall. They're also roughly twice as likely to use a donor-advised fund, and 87% say honoring their family's philanthropic tradition is important. Meanwhile, 86% say it's equally important to establish their own charitable identity.

Ana de Armas brought dazzling high-fashion glamour to Paris as she attended the prestigious La Légion d'Honneur ceremony. The actress captivated onlookers by stepping out in an archival Louis Vuitton creation by Nicolas Ghesquière. Styled by Samantha McMillen, her shimmering look seamlessly blended rock-and-roll glam with classic French sophistication.
Ana de Armas selected a striking black sequin micro minidress from the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2015 runway collection. Designed by creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, the archival garment featured a high rounded collar and structured shoulders.
Intricate lace-like sequin patterns covered the entire fabric, shimmering with every slight movement. Fitted long sleeves balanced the ultra-short hemline that barely skimmed her thighs. Thousands of delicate black sequins caught the room's warm lights, creating a dramatic metallic sheen.
Her expert beauty team complemented the bold dress with effortless styling choices. Stylist Samantha McMillen chose the vintage piece, while Owen Gould styled Ana's brunette hair in soft waves. Makeup artist Charlotte Prevel completed the look with a luminous complexion, subtle liner, and nude gloss.
The actress posed indoors before stepping out to the official Paris event. Standing near a tall glass door, she looked straight into the camera lens with calm confidence. Her reflection behind her showed off the snug fit and detailed craftsmanship from every angle.

Mikey Madison turned heads with a daring mix of traditional British tailoring and sultry punk glamour. The rising actress stepped out in a custom dark Vivienne Westwood look styled by celebrity stylist Andrew Mukamal. Pairing vintage-inspired structure with edgy details, she easily commanded the room. Her unique outfit showcases classic Westwood rebellion while bringing a fresh, modern energy to red-carpet dressing.
Madison wore a tailored two-piece look featuring a sharp slate-blue short-sleeved jacket. The structured top boasted wide lapels, neat central **** ons, and a flared peplum waist. A subtle embroidered Vivienne Westwood orb logo sat quietly near her hip. The tailored silhouette hugged her torso closely, creating a classic vintage shape before giving way to the dramatic skirt below.
The asymmetric skirt featured navy and black diagonal bands with an uneven hem. A sheer section appeared beneath one side of the skirt, while black tights continued the dark color palette. She finished the look with dark navy open-toe platform heels
She posed against a grey textured wall, letting her outfit do all the talking. Mikey swept her long brunette hair over her shoulder in loose, cascading waves. She chose soft, natural makeup with rosy cheeks, defined eyes, and a satin pink lip. She kept her accessories minimal, opting for delicate silver earrings so the structured clothing remained the main focus.
Mikey proves that structured tops and provocative skirts can coexist beautifully. Stylist Andrew Mukamal highlighted Westwood's signature corsetry details while embracing a moody aesthetic. Mikey walked the line between retro sophistication and edgy gothic glamour with complete confidence. She continues to solidify her position as a true fashion risk-taker to watch
