You know the type — the guy who finally hits retirement age, but just can't sit around the house doing nothing. He goes out, desperate to feel needed again, and finds a new place to work that appreciate his skills. He has a top speed of Mach 2.5, a max takeoff weight of 68,000 pounds, and a bunch of tall tales from his youth that are probably mostly fiction. Yes, your friend is a Boeing F-15C/D Eagle, and he's not going to take his forced exit from the Oregon Air National Guard lying down. Instead, he's going to help NASA bring supersonic civilian flight to the masses. And he's bringing a frie

Bitcoin’s network hashrate fell to its lowest level in seven months over the weekend as a powerful winter storm swept across the United States, forcing miners to scale back operations amid surging energy demand and widespread power disruptions.
Key Takeaways:
A US winter storm pushed Bitcoin’s hashrate to a seven-month low as miners curtailed operations to ease grid strain.
Network power fell over 40% before partially recovering.

A Hidden Warning Sign Discovered in The Gut May Increase Cancer Risk
As we get older, chemical marks on our DNA slowly shift. Now, a study reveals this 'drift' in gut stem cells is fueled by inflammation and disrupted cell signaling, and it may help explain why our risk of colorectal cancer rises with age.
The international team of researchers has called this process Aging and Colon Cancer-Associated (ACCA) drift, and it involves shifts in DNA methylation that can 'switch' genes on or off without altering the DNA – called epigenetic changes.

Bitcoin's 2026 outlook has become a battleground. Spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) approvals and the post-halving rally were supposed to clarify the narrative, but instead, they amplified the divide.
Forecasts for next year range anywhere from $250,000 to $10,000. That gap reveals more than disagreement over numbers — it exposes a fundamental split over whether Bitcoin (BTC) has entered a new structural phase or remains trapped in the same cyclical patterns that defined the last decade.
To understand why expectations are so widely dispersed, it helps to start with the most optimistic outlooks

Air pollution isn't just bad for human health; it also poses an existential threat to certain fly species.
New research from the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology found that elevated ozone levels inhibit mating among flies.
