Arsenal target Julian Alvarez will "never, ever" be sold to Barcelona, according to Atletico Madrid chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin, who did not rule out the possibility of the Argentina international joining another club instead before the transfer deadline.
Alvarez made it clear earlier this summer that he wanted to join Barcelona but relations between the Spanish clubs have completely broken down over the transfer saga, with Gil Marin accusing Barcelona of "dishonesty" and a lack of "professionalism".

Brian Austin Green is opening up about a frightening health crisis that changed nearly every part of his daily life. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum says he once struggled to walk, speak, read and write. Green described the symptoms as neurological and "stroke-like."
During the Aug. 26 episode of Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson, Green revisited the health struggle he experienced more than a decade ago. "I ended up with this neurological thing, and it was, like, stroke-like symptoms," Green said.
The actor explained that the illness began when he was around 39 or 40. According to Green, the symptoms became so severe that he had to relearn basic skills. "I had to learn how to walk again, to talk again," he said. Green added that he could not read or write during the worst period.
The Beverly Hills 90210 star told Robinson that his brain and body felt completely disconnected. He estimated that his recovery took roughly four and a half years.
Green said doctors never reached a complete diagnosis for the neurological symptoms. However, he believes internal inflammation played a role. He also discussed diet and emotional stress as possible contributing factors.

Beyoncé is to donate $1 million (£730,000) to earthquake relief efforts in Colombia.
On 10 August, an earthquake struck Chocó Department, killing at least 331 people and injuring thousands of others.
Following the natural disaster, which was felt across much of western and central Colombia, Beyoncé announced on Wednesday that she would be making a "personal donation".
The funds will go towards organisations working on the ground in the nation, primarily those providing food and housing supplies.
"The earthquake caused severe loss of life and critical injuries. Many homes were completely demolished living residents without shelter," a spokesperson commented. "The epicenter of the earthquake was approximately three miles east of San Jose del Palmar, approximately 150 miles from Bogota. The earthquake was felt in cities across the country. Multiple cities have sustained damage to buildings, infrastructure, and roads, critically affecting the food supply."
The representative also urged fans to visit the websites of Food For The Poor and World Central Kitchen if they wanted to support ongoing relief efforts.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers left their first joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars knowing their effort wasn't good enough. Tuesday's practice was one of Tampa Bay's roughest sessions of the summer. The offense struggled to consistently move the ball, Jacksonville controlled stretches on both sides and, perhaps most concerning, the Buccaneers lacked the energy and physicality they had shown throughout camp.
Baker Mayfield admitted afterward that Jacksonville was the more physical team, while Josiah Trotter Jr. acknowledged that Tampa Bay's energy and body language weren't up to the standard the defense expects. Chris Godwin Jr was similarly critical, saying the Bucs have to create their own energy when playing on the road and respond better when things start going wrong. The second practice was lighter and conducted without full pads, with most of the competitive work coming during seven on seven periods before the teams separated for walkthroughs. Still, Tampa Bay played with noticeably more tempo and made the most of the opportunities it had against Jacksonville, and the defense provided the biggest response.
Trotter intercepted Trevor Lawrence in the red zone after recognizing a wheel route, and undrafted rookie Ayden Garnes followed with another interception. Benjamin Morrison and Keionte Scott also recorded pass breakups as Tampa Bay's young secondary consistently challenged Jacksonville's passing game. The offense looked sharper as well. Mayfield connected with Tez Johnson, Kenny Gainwell and Ted Hurst III for touchdowns during red zone work. Hurst continued his impressive week by beating Travis Hunter for another score after having success against him during Tuesday's practice. Todd Bowles still wasn't completely satisfied. He called the offense rusty over the two days and noted that the defense had mental mistakes that need to be corrected. But he also felt the Bucs got the mental work they needed from the trip. Tampa Bay was challenged after looking flat and getting outplayed Tuesday. Rather than carrying that performance into the final day of camp, the Bucs returned with better energy and execution.

With its data center revenue growing 92% year-over-year, it is no surprise that NVIDIA (NVDA) commands a premium. The stock trades at about 30.7 times its last twelve months of earnings, a multiple that gives many investors pause. But that headline figure is not the price a patient holder is really paying.
The Discount That Time Delivers
Look two years out, and the picture changes completely. Based on the earnings **** ysts expect by fiscal year 2028, today's share price of about $208.48 is only about 16.2 times those future earnings. That is a 47% lower multiple than the trailing one, a discount that materializes as earnings grow into the price. A small part of this drop comes from comparing trailing adjusted earnings to forward consensus estimates, which are not defined identically, but the bulk of it reflects expected growth. For an investor with a multi-year horizon, you are effectively buying the business at that lower future multiple.

When news broke yesterday that Dolly Parton had died, one of the first people I thought of was my friend's 8-year-old daughter. To her, Parton wasn't simply a country star from her parents' generation. She was one of her own heroes.

Aug 26 (Reuters) - A drone attack caused a massive fire that destroyed a warehouse run by Russian e-commerce ‌giant Wildberries, officials said early on Wednesday, as Ukraine ‌pushes ahead with its campaign to hurt Moscow's economy by targeting online retailers.
Two people were wounded in the overnight strike in Russia's Tambov region, its governor Evgeniy Pervyshov wrote on the MAX messaging app.
The logistics centre was "completely destroyed by fire," he said. ‌Earlier he said about ⁠100,000 square metres (1.1 million square feet) of the facility was burning, the equivalent of 14 ⁠soccer pitches.
Ukraine has been hitting Wildberries facilities since mid-July and broadened its strategy in recent days to include the retailer's main rival, Ozon.
More than 20 Wildberries and Ozon warehouses have been ‌attacked with at least 1.9 million square metres of warehouse **** e severely damaged by fire, according to Reuters **** ysis of satellite imagery.

Florida's tight end room looks completely different heading into the 2026 season.
Amir Jackson and Micah Jones are the only returning players at the position, while the Gators added six newcomers through the transfer portal, recruiting class and walk-on ranks. That gives offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner and tight ends coach Evan McKissack a much deeper group to work with in an offense that should feature plenty of 12 personnel.

ORCHARD PARK, NY — For the first time in six years, an NFL team will move into a new football palace, the 2026 Buffalo Bills set to cross the street and officially open their new Highmark Stadium to kick off Week 2 of the regular season.
With a fixed seating capacity of 60,108, Highmark becomes the league's smallest venue. But that's completely by design. The standing-room only crowd can increase the headcount by roughly 6,000 for a place built to be intimate. And, despite some seemingly overblown criticism about some of the obstructed-view seats that were spotlit for the Bills' first practice in the building earlier this month, players and most fans seem to love their new surroundings.
They include gorgeous views of the field from the concourses (like a baseball stadium interior); a roof that will shield most of the crowed from lake-effect weather during winter; many design homages to Bills Mafia and creature comforts the players simply didn't have at the old Ralph Wilson Stadium (also known as Highmark Stadium before it closed following the 2025 campaign) – chief among them a grass playing surface.
"It's so nice," Bills general manager Brandon Beane recently told USA TODAY Sports. "There's some really nice stadiums, I don't think I've walked into one nicer. It's very intentional about things.
