Sofia Vergara's dating life is back in the spotlight. A late-night dinner in Beverly Hills has set tongues wagging, as the pictures show the actress enjoying a relaxed evening with Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds. While the duo was not alone at the table, the attention stayed firmly on the two of them. What happened as the night wound down adds another twist to their tale.
Deuxmoi shared the images on Instagram, mentioning that the pair were photographed at an intimate dinner at Cipriani in Beverly Hills. TMZ also obtained photos and video of the evening. According to the outlet, Sofia Vergara and Dan Reynolds held hands throughout their late-night meal.
The photos capture an easy, affectionate rapport. Vergara, 54, is seen smiling broadly as she leans across the table, her chin resting on one fist while Reynolds, 39, holds her other hand. Their chemistry also appeared undeniable.
Two friends joined them for the meal, including Anastasia Soare, who was seated beside Vergara. Even with friends at the table, the images keep the focus on the two of them. They also appeared to be chatting animatedly and enjoying a relaxed night out. As the night wound down, reports suggest that the pair slipped out through the restaurant's back door at around 12:30 am.
The outing also comes as Vergara's past marriage is making headlines once again. Her ex-husband, Joe Manganiello, made several claims about their past relationship in his new memoir, "Bloodlines."

When you think about what it means to be rich, specific images may come to mind. Perhaps you imagine someone on a yacht wearing a Rolex while enjoying champagne and caviar.
But when you try to define what it means to be "rich," the concept becomes more abstract; there's no set dollar amount or single physical ******* et that definitively makes you rich.
In fact, whether or not you're considered rich is largely relative to the value of your income and ******* ets when compared to the wealth of other people around you. For example, when determining if your salary qualifies as lower or upper income, The Pew Research Center considers how much you earn in comparison to people living in your area with the same family size.

Nearly one in three veterans who relies on the government for health care could benefit from taking psychedelic drugs like magic mushrooms or MDMA.
That's not the ******* sment of some hippie or fading 1960s rock star. It came from Andrew Gradison, a senior adviser at President Donald Trump's Veterans Health Administration. Gradison told a conference for psychedelics enthusiasts this month that he is eager to ramp up the VA's capacity to give the drugs to as many as 2.1 million veterans with mental illnesses like post-traumatic stress disorder or depression. Gradison said 6.4 million veterans regularly rely on the VA for care.
No government regulator has deemed psychedelics safe or effective for mental illness. Under former President Joe Biden, the Food and Drug Administration in 2024 resoundingly rejected a proposal to authorize MDMA — also known as ecstasy — combined with talk therapy, to treat people with PTSD.
But psychedelics are getting a second chance in the Trump administration. Trump in April issued an executive order to accelerate research, clinical trials and patient access to the drugs. Republicans in Congress are among psychedelics' biggest backers. And the constituency they are seeking to please, veterans, are disproportionately Republicans.
Veterans, frustrated with high suicide rates among their fellow ex-service members, are lobbying aggressively to see Trump follow through.

With less than two weeks left in the regular season for the New Jersey non-public schools (public schools end this week), it's safe to say nothing has been decided when it comes to the playoff seeds.
Remember, the non-public A and B playoffs in New Jersey are seeded by a committee, not power points/OSI magic. It's a small committee made up of representatives from across the state.
And I want to be clear about something else: This is how I think the seeding committee will do it. This isn't necessarily how I would do it. In years past, the committee has strongly favored head-to-head outcomes, not full resumes or tradition or injuries or anything like that. Once again, there is no written criteria. It's people in a room talking football at NJSIAA Headquarters in Robbinsville.
However, this year, the committee may have no choice but to look at a lot of other factors other than head-to-head. Why? Because the head-to-head results don't make sense.
Who do you seed where with Seton Hall Prep beating St. Joe's who beat St. Peter's who beat Seton Hall Prep? And by the way, Seton Hall Prep lost to Pope John.

As The Stein Line first reported last Sunday, however, Orlando's Anthony Black is not expected to join that group after scant discussion between the sides to this point. The Magic remain big fans of the 22-year-old and don't want to trade him, league sources say, but Orlando also knows that its payroll can't withstand another pricey long-term deal with Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs and Desmond Bane all on long-term pacts and each of them making between $32.4 million (Suggs) and $41.8 million (Wagner) this season.

Qinwen Zheng has battled unimaginable fitness concerns over the past few years, which threatened to completely derail such a promising start to her career.
Having emerged onto the scene as inarguably one of the most talented Chinese players of all time, she soon started achieving feats to back up such promise.
Deep runs in WTA 1000 and Grand Slam tournaments felt relatively regular, and culminated in her reaching the final of the Australian Open in 2024, and the Wuhan Open later that year.
Whilst she lost both matches, Qinwen Zheng was getting closer to snagging an elite honour before disaster struck.
The end of her 2025 campaign was completely marred by injury, and whilst she tried to play after elbow surgery, she had to shut it down. This past turmoil is what makes any new fitness concerns particularly worrying for the 24-year-old.

Enzo Maresca had predicted Phil Foden would score, and he did score. For much of Foden's career that would scarcely have seemed an outlandish prediction. Not now. Foden's had struck 27 times for Manchester City alone in 2023-24. Yet when Ipswich arrived at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, his drought spanned 35 games for City, plus two for England that may have cost him a place at the World Cup.
But there are two Fodens. Maresca remembered the teenage prodigy, the player who had won the individual awards, the seeming generational talent before he became the goal-shy City substitute. "With Phil I said many times, I know him from years ago, for me he's one of the best Premier League players," said the City manager, who had worked with Foden in his previous times at the Etihad Stadium. "And since day one it's my duty to help him to again be one of the best players."
That process got off to something of a false start. By the time City kicked off against Ipswich Foden had, in effect, sat out four-and-three-quarter games. His first-half red card in the Manchester derby was followed by a three-match domestic suspension. He was an unused substitute in the Champions League defeat against Paris Saint-Germain.
Even before being banned, he had been usurped, and under successive managers. In first Pep Guardiola's valedictory season and then Maresca's first in charge, Rayan Cherki has been the No 10 who has starred and sparkled. Foden has provided less magic. Perhaps it says something for the luxuries Maresca enjoys that Foden has felt the more prosaic player in his position.
Perhaps it is an added complication, too, that in Enzo Fernandez he has costly competition emerging, with the £125m signing spending the second half against PSG operating as the most advanced of the midfield trio. A lesson of that defeat may be that, against elite opposition, Maresca requires both Ayyoub Bouaddi and Elliot Anderson to anchor the midfield, perhaps meaning Fernandez is the most advanced of the trio.

Daniel Farke wasn't having it that Leeds United were the favourites for this game but there was nothing he could do about the level of expectation around his club going into it.
Last season Leeds drew this fixture 1-1 and then in April claimed their first league win at Old Trafford since 1981. Being truly competitive in the Premier League in both the post-promotion campaign and so far this term allowed supporters not only to dream of Elland Road glory on Sunday afternoon but perhaps even to expect it. Throw in the narrative surrounding the visitors given all that has transpired there of late and at the very least it felt like a big chance.
Yet if reality was to meet expectation, the first half did not make it immediately obvious. A frenetic first few minutes was as anticipated. Ethan Ampadu, leading the team out for the 100th time as captain, was at the heart of an aggressive start. He set the tone by levelling Carlos Baleba to concede one free-kick, then caught Bryan Mbeumo on the ankle to concede another, somehow without seeing yellow.
Neither Bruno Fernandes nor Gabriel Gudmundsson got away with their early transgressions, however. So it was tetchy and fractious, but the play that was punctuated by fouls was largely in the home side's favour. Leeds saw plenty of the ball, some of it in the opposition territory, and though there were dangerous-looking deliveries into the box, only Nico Elvedi's header - saved by Senne Lammens - threatened to open the scoring.
At the other end Mbeumo arrived completely unmarked to head Youri Tielemans' scooped cross past James Trafford's left-hand post. It was a let-off as much as a warning but there was very little between the teams in a first half full of huffing and puffing and largely devoid of magic.

One Josh Allen masterclass moment has captured the attention of NFL fans after the Buffalo Bills' big win and most are simply awestruck by his genius.
In what proved to be a tight contest against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Buffalo Bills claimed their fifth win of the season. The difference-maker was none other than the team's star quarterback. Josh Allen did just enough to secure the victory for his team.
Allen threw the ball for 255 yards and two touchdowns, and looked like his usual impressive self during the game. The 33-30 scoreline suggests how tight the game was. And while a game like this is generally known for having a lot of big moments, one Allen play has really captured the fans' imaginations.
With the score at 16-13 in the third quarter, Allen had the ball for the Bills at the Raiders' 13-yard line. It was third down with eight yards to gain, and it would have been bad for Buffalo if they had to settle for the field goal.
The Raiders' defensive line knew they had to get the stop if they could. They sold out to try to sack Allen, but he somehow escaped the pocket. As more Las Vegas players rushed to meet him and put him on the ground, the 30-year-old casually flipped the ball to Keon Coleman in the endzone.

A handshake agreement. That's the term I saw all weekend regarding the College Football Playoff expanding from 12 teams to 24 beginning next year, with ESPN remaining the sole rights holder. There are positives and negatives to the reported deal, and it was refreshing to hear discourse on both sides of the argument across ESPN's networks this weekend. That's something college football fans didn't get with the network's coverage of the Protect College Sports Act.
However, in the end, ESPN owns all the goods. Again. The network has been the exclusive rights holder since the playoff began just 12 years ago. Fans can debate whether expanding the playoff to 24 teams will diminish the weekly must-win stakes of college football or lead to the elimination of conference championship games for major conferences. One thing remains clear: ESPN controls the entire package. That raises a question: If the sport wants to expand on the field, why can't it expand how those games are broadcast?
The old saying goes, "Follow the money." After signing a six-year, $7.8 billion exclusive extension in 2024, ESPN received an exclusive 30-day window to negotiate with the College Football Playoff over expansion. That window expired, but a handshake agreement was reportedly reached in the days that followed.
As a result, FOX Sports, CBS Sports/TNT Sports/Skydance, NBC Sports, and others never had an opportunity to compete for the expanded package during that window. Has ESPN dominated college football coverage for generations? Of course. Is watching College GameDay part of the average fan's Saturday routine during the fall? Absolutely.
But imagine if the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL handled their biggest events the same way. Imagine if Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady were left out of the NFL's biggest games. What if Kenny Albert and Eddie Olczyk never got the opportunity to call the Stanley Cup Final?

Harry Kane has received another ringing endorsement in his bid for the Ballon d'Or, with England international Morgan Rogers arguing that the Bayern Munich striker has done more than enough to claim football's most prestigious individual honor.
Rogers believes Kane's accomplishments have pushed the boundaries of what could reasonably have been expected from him, pointing to his remarkable combination of club and international success.
"Harry Kane should win the Ballon d'Or. He defied what people can imagine that he could do. Treble, and hattricks in finals, Goals in the World Cup, goals for Bayern. What more can he do? That has to be rewarded," Rogers told Hayters TV (as captured by iMiaSanMia).
It is difficult to argue with the basic premise. Kane has continued to produce at an extraordinary level for Bayern while also delivering on the biggest stages for England. His ability to combine ridiculous scoring numbers with major trophies has strengthened his case considerably.
The Ballon d'Or debate will inevitably include several other elite candidates, but Rogers believes Kane's résumé speaks for itself.

Sandra Bullock purchased her Valley Center property for $2.72 million in 2007, extensively renovating it
The estate featured 1,200 organic avocado trees, citrus groves, a saltwater pool and solar charging stations
She sold the property for $5.6 million in 2022 after it spent three weeks on the market
Years before she made her return to the big screen with Practical Magic 2, Sandra Bullock was making magic in another way — via her real estate holdings, which previously included a 91-acre Valley Center, Calif., property complete with an avocado tree farm (and 1,200 organic avocado trees).
The actress, 62, purchased the property in 2007 for $2.72 million via a trust, per Mansion Global, which cites property records.

Hey gang! It's your ol' pal Jay. I woke up in a cold sweat after a nightmare about a failed audition from like 20 years ago, so I decided to spread that anxiety 'round the world! See, back in them days, you couldn't just send a self-tape all willy nilly. You had to physically bike on down to some building in a shady part of town, wipe the sweat from your brow, and perform for a little panel of directors and producers.
I don't want to brag, but I got a callback for a Taco Bell commercial. The director asked me to deliver this one line in different ways but still convey that this imaginary burrito was yummy. After a few runs of not getting it right, he seemed to be getting a little perturbed. I rifled off a couple more nervous ones until he stopped me and said, "No. You have to pretend that you're thoroughly enjoying the food. You know… Like an actor."
The room went silent as I shrunk to microscopic proportions. I didn't get the part obviously, but I had a good run back then! Booked some commercials for KFC, Pepsi, Nabob Coffee, and Tetley Tea, so… Ya. I haven't acted in a long time, but don't worry. I still take harsh criticisms on an almost daily basis! If you love cringey audition stories like that, just wait till you see these ones from A-listers. Cringey stuff here, folks. Enjoy.

Minka Kelly and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds have split after nearly four years together, according to an Oct. 7 report from PEOPLE.
A source close to the former couple said the breakup "happened recently." The report did not identify a reason or say exactly when the relationship ended.
TMZ also confirmed the split. Representatives for both stars had not responded to either outlet's requests for comment when the reports were published.
Kelly, 46, and Reynolds, 39, were first photographed together in November 2022, when they spent more than five hours having dinner at Café Stella in Los Angeles.
Kelly and Reynolds made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the Museum of Contemporary Art's gala in Los Angeles on May 30, PEOPLE reported. She wore a bright orange Roland Mouret dress, while he paired a beige suit with a black shirt.

A TikTok influencer has said that white women, especially blond-haired women, have an overly inflated sense of their looks, stating that this mentality causes much animosity in her video.
Kylie Brewer named the video "Blonde wh!te women tend to overrate their attractiveness." This is the sequel to her earlier video, where she said white men overestimate their looks.
Brewer claims that lots of white women find it hard to understand that other people might not think of them as the ultimate choice.
"If you tell them that you don't think that, that's the most attractive type of person out there, they literally cannot imagine it because for them, their experience of what they think is colorism is between blonde and brunettes," Brewer said.
"And white women get incredibly territorial over blond hair and over men in general," she added.

Hurricane Isaias, the first hurricane of the Atlantic season, is expected to strengthen when it approaches the northern Gulf Coast on Friday, prompting mandatory evacuations, school closures in parts of Florida and the threat of a life-threatening storm surge, according to the National Hurricane Center.
Isaias is forecast to make landfall within the warning area late Friday or early Saturday, according to the National Weather Service, which warned of damaging hurricane-force winds. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) said Isaias was expected to remain a strong hurricane throughout this period.
It is unclear exactly where Isaias might make landfall. Current models show the center of the storm coming onshore anywhere from eastern Mississippi to the western tip of the Florida Panhandle.
The NWS said residents in portions of the Florida Panhandle, southern Alabama, some parts of Mississippi, including the south, should "prepare for the possibility of long-duration power outages."
The governors of Florida and Alabama declared states of emergency for dozens of counties. Okaloosa County in Florida announced mandatory evacuations for some coastal areas. "Residents should take this storm seriously and evacuate," the county government said in a news release.

Some might think $4 million guarantees a life of luxury, but with market volatility and inflation, it makes sense to ask how far that money will actually go.
One of the trickiest elements of retirement planning is figuring out a savings target. It's virtually impossible to estimate what retirement will cost because there are too many unknowns, from inflation to longevity to healthcare costs.
When it comes to setting a savings target, the best thing many of us can do is estimate a number and run with it.
Some data shows how much money it might take to afford a comfortable retirement. Northwestern Mutual found that $1.46 million was the magic number. There's also guidance that you can adjust for your personal situation. Fidelity, for example, recommends having 10 times your ending salary saved by age 67.

Selling appreciated stock and donating cash still leaves the full capital gain in Medicare's MAGI, potentially triggering IRMAA surcharges two years later.
A couple adding a $90,000 gain to $200,000 in normal income can face $5,770 in extra annual Medicare premiums, even after donating every dollar to charity.
Donating appreciated shares held over a year directly to charity keeps the gain out of MAGI entirely, avoiding IRMAA; those over 70.5 can also use a QCD up to $111,000.
Building a portfolio and living off one are two completely different skills, and almost ***** ody teaches the second. This problem is what The Definitive Guide to Retirement Income helps, and it is free today. Read more here. (Sponsor)

This fall he sells $100,000 worth of stock he bought for $10,000, then writes a check for the full amount to his church's building fund. He ***** umes the gift wipes out the income Medicare sees. Ash Gardner has spoken publicly for the first time about the alleged affair with teammate Georgia Voll that contributed to the breakdown of her marriage to Monica Wright.
Gardner said the situation became far more public than she expected and admitted she had been "naive" about the level of attention it would attract.
The controversy came to light earlier this year when Wright revealed the affair on social media. The relationship is believed to have begun during the Women's World Cup in India last year. Gardner has since apologised to Wright and said she has spent time reflecting on what happened.
Speaking to Australian outlet CODE Sports, Gardner acknowledged that her public image had taken a hit, saying, "My reputation has been tarnished with the public, but I guess something that I always try to strive to do when representing any team that I play in is be the best teammate that I can, and hopefully show what this team means to me when I'm playing for them."
The Australian vice-captain also said being a high-profile athlete means personal matters can attract intense public interest.
"Playing sport at a high level, you're open to having a platform, and sometimes with this comes interest from the public, and they want to know things about your personal life, and they invest, and then can make judgment either way of what you are or aren't doing."
Gardner admitted she was shocked when Wright publicly identified Voll, writing, "This is who my wife cheated on me with," alongside a photo of the teammate.
"I was certainly surprised, as you could imagine," Gardner said.
She added, "I certainly didn't expect the situation to take the path that it did, or to become as public as what it did. But I also understand that everyone has their own way of dealing with difficult situations."
Gardner said she now wants to focus on learning from the experience, having difficult conversations where necessary and moving forward with the Australian team.
She also said she understood Wright's perspective and tried to remain positive during what she described as a very difficult period.

As Christmas nears, the festive season has sparked a intriguing royal showdown. Meghan Markle's $148 advent calendar has been met with surprising competition from Buckingham Palace. The news comes days after Markle expanded her lifestyle brand, As Ever, with the limited-edition holiday countdown box inspired by her Montecito home.
Buckingham Palace has entered the Advent calendar market with a product priced far below Meghan Markle's $148 version.
As reported by the Daily Express, the calendar is available now from the Royal Collection Trust. It claims to "capture the magic of the festive season" across three royal residences, including Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Priced at only £12 ($15.87), the calendar offers 24 milk chocolates, the same count as Markle's luxury edition.
The artwork for the royal chocolate Advent calendar shows a richly adorned Christmas tree finished with a crown ornament, accompanied by a pair of Union Jacks. The illustration also features ceremonial guards who "stand watch at these iconic locations."
The Palace has also released an empty, fill-it-yourself version, which displays a winter illustration of its London residence on a white box. The design is fully customizable, allowing buyers to place their own treats behind each of the 24 doors.

After 43 drawings with no jackpot winner, the Powerball's big prize stands at $1 billion in annual payments or a lump sum cash payment of $433.1 million. The next drawing is set for Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The odds of winning a lottery jackpot are slim — 1 in 292.2 million for Powerball, according to the lottery.
So, imagine for a moment you do win. How much of the prize would you take home after taxes? We'll break it down — and suggest six ways to invest your windfall safely.
The IRS taxes lottery prizes differently depending on how the winner chooses to get paid. You have two choices: lump sum payout or annual payments spread over 30 years. Most lottery winners opt for the cash lump sum up-front, even though it ultimately means fewer dollars in their pocket, but still a whole lot.

Some actors spend so much time speaking in a particular accent that audiences eventually forget it is not their natural voice. Years of American roles can make a British actor seem completely American, while there are more Australian infiltrating our ranks than you can possibly imagine. The effect can be especially strange when you hear someone in an interview for the first time after watching them for years. A few of these actors have even admitted that audiences are surprised by their real accents. Once you know where they are actually from, some of their biggest roles sound completely different.
After years of playing Dr. Gregory House with an American accent, Hugh Laurie surprised many viewers when they discovered that he is English and naturally speaks with a British accent.
Batman, Patrick Bateman, and several other major roles helped make Christian Bale's American accent extremely familiar, but the actor was born in Wales and speaks with a British accent in real life.
Margot Robbie has used American accents in many of her biggest films, including The Wolf of Wall Street, Suicide Squad, and Barbie, so hearing her natural Australian accent can catch viewers off guard.
His American accent in Get Out was convincing enough to make many viewers forget that Kaluuya is from London and naturally speaks with an English accent.

Live long and prosper! William Shatner is determined to keep working for as long as he physically can, a source tells Examiner.
"Bill still has the spark and the playfulness that he had when he came to Hollywood 60-plus years ago," reveals the source. "He loves show business and he loves being famous … [and] has outlived and outlasted just about everybody he came up in the business with."
When asked in 2021 if he planned to retire, the Star Trek actor, 95, told AARP, "Why? What are you gonna retire to? I mean, I don't fish and don't play golf. I ride horses a lot. But what are you going to do? You can't sit and rock."
"The idea of just holing up and fading away behind the walls of an estate, something many of his acting peers wound up doing, is unimaginable to him," admits the source. "Bill is a strong believer in the philosophy of 'use it or lose it.' He firmly believes he would actually damage his health if he were to slow down and live the lifestyle of a retired man!"

Birthday weekends rarely look this magical, and Kate Hudson can agree on that. The actress has shared a photo carousel of her daughter's birthday from a theme park celebration, and the smiles are impossible to miss. Wands at the ready, robes swishing, and a birthday cake waiting back home, the day had it all.
Mom to three kids, Kate Hudson celebrated her daughter's birthday with a weekend outing at the Universal Studios theme park. She posted a carousel on Instagram with a short caption. She wrote, "Best weekend celebrating the best girl!!! Thank you unistudios for the 'best ride ever!'"
Birthday girl, Rani Rose, made the most of every stop, grinning happily at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. In one short clip, the 8-year-old stood in a dimly lit shop with a wand in her hand. In a recreation of the wand scene in the "Harry Potter" movies, Rani's hair glowed in the spotlight when she got her wand.
Another photo showed Rani with her friend in matching Gryffindor robes with maroon and gold lining and striped headbands. Both pointed their wands straight at the camera, grinning. Elsewhere, a Hogwarts street sign towered over a cobbled square, with Rani posing underneath.
The day was not all spells. Hudson's carousel also showed kids posing outside Super Nintendo World. A wide shot captured the Mario-themed plaza under a bright blue sky. A group selfie from a wooden ride car showed Hudson with her daughter beaming behind the camera.
