In the second quarter, the Baron Focused Growth Fund achieved a 13.26% gain, still trailing the Russell 2500 Growth Index's 24.02% return. The underperformance was driven by ongoing concerns about AI's impact on portfolio businesses and underexposure to AI infrastructure. The IPO of ******* eX provided a boost, but overall, the Fund's companies are generating robust revenue growth and strengthening margins through enhanced client engagement and product offerings. Many stocks remain historically undervalued, and companies are beginning accelerated share repurchases, bolstering investor confidence. The Fund is perceived as compelling, benefiting from favorable market conditions and strong balance sheets, while inflation and interest rates are expected to remain stable. The Fund has outperformed its Benchmark over the past 3, 5, and 10 years, showing significant excess returns with lower market risk, attributed to a research-driven investment approach. The Fund maintains a commitment to long-term investing in growth-oriented businesses, utilizing a balanced portfolio to mitigate risk and potentially enhance returns. Please review the Fund's top five holdings to gain insights into their key selections for 2026.
In its Q2 2026 investor letter, Baron Focused Growth Fund highlighted FIGS, Inc. (NYSE:FIGS). FIGS, Inc. (NYSE:FIGS) is a direct-to-consumer healthcare apparel company known for its scrubwear for healthcare professionals. On August 19, 2026, FIGS, Inc. (NYSE:FIGS) closed at $14.49 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $2.41 billion. FIGS, Inc. (NYSE:FIGS) posted a one‑month return of 56.82%, while its shares gained 109.09% over the past 52 weeks.
Baron Focused Growth Fund stated the following regarding FIGS, Inc. (NYSE:FIGS) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"FIGS, Inc. (NYSE:FIGS) designs and sells scrubwear for health care professionals through a digitally native, direct-to-consumer strategy. The stock detracted from performance as shares slipped due largely to investor positioning. Even so, the company reported a very strong first quarter. Revenue came in at $159.9 million, up 28%, well ahead of the company's guidance for low-20% growth and above consensus expectations. The results were broad-based. U.S. revenue grew 24% to $131.6 million, with strength across core offerings, new product launches, and promotional periods, while international revenue accelerated 50% to $28.3 million, with double-digit growth in every region. Active customers surpassed 3 million for the first time, up 12% year over year, with both new and repeat customers contributing. We continue to have conviction in the strength of FIGS' business model and the company's ability to gain market share in the attractive global health care apparel industry."

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has signed into law a measure that would introduce a conditional pardon for thousands of Kurdish militants as part of a government peace effort with the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK.
The measure was published in the Official Gazette on Tuesday. It will only come into force after Turkey's National Security Council confirms that the group has fully dissolved itself and disarmed.
Parliament approved the bill overwhelmingly last week. It would suspend certain prison sentences for convicted PKK members and postpone ongoing investigations and trials against others for five or 10 years, depending on the severity of the crime. Authorities would drop the cases against the individuals if they don't re-offend during those periods.
The legislation also establishes a committee to oversee the group's disarmament, with its first meeting expected next week.
Last year, the PKK — considered a terrorist organization by Turkey and its Western allies — announced its decision to disband, following a call by its imprisoned leader, Abdullah Ocalan. Ocalan and other key PKK figures are excluded from the pardon.

Historically, the S&P 500 has been one of the world's greatest wealth-generating machines, returning an average annual return of over 10% since its launch in 1957. But it has been far from smooth sailing. And if you bought shares at the wrong times (such as the peak of the dot-com bubble in 2000 or before the great financial crisis of 2007-2008), it would take several years to recover the value of your original investment.
Is 2026 another bad time to buy? While it's impossible to know for sure, several historical parallels offer clues about what might happen next.

The cyclically adjusted price-to-earnings (CAPE) ratio is a stock market valuation metric that compares the S&P 500's current price with its inflation-adjusted earnings over the past decade. The long duration of the comparison helps smooth out the impacts of the business cycle, allowing investors to identify periods when shares are unusually pricey.
Right now, the market has a CAPE ratio of 42.5, a level not seen since it peaked at 44.2 in 1999 during the dot-com bubble. And there are some sharp parallels between the two time periods.

No. 13 LSU is set to kick off the Lane Kiffin era in Baton Rouge in 18 days when they host No. 23 Clemson for Kiffin's highly-anticipated debut in Week 1 inside Tiger Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 5 (6:30 p.m. CT, ABC).
Media members were allowed to view two periods of Tuesday's practice as the team worked through two individual position drills.
Here's what stood out at LSU's 12th fall camp session.

The Chargers hosted the 49ers for a joint practice on Tuesday, and if social media is any indicator, Los Angeles dominated their California neighbors from up north.
The Bolts were toying with the Niners for the most part, as evidenced by reports and videos out of El Segundo. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was dealing, as the offense was by far the best unit in the practices. Mike McDaniel's offense looked crisp and sharp with the starters.
Herbter's deep ball gave the San Francisco secondary fits all practice long.
The Chargers and 49ers went back and forth with each other, but Los Angeles got the best of them in many areas including the red zone. They had five total team periods, and four of the five team periods came in the red zone when Herbert and Ladd McConkey put up their best performance.
The Chargers defense also showed up and showed out, with rookie Genesis Smith making his mark.

We ****** umed Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft might need some time to get back to form after returning to full practice recently.
After all, we've seen time and time again that players aren't always themselves upon returning from a torn ACL.
However, that doesn't appear to be the case with Kraft, who is dominating in his first two days of 11-on-11 periods at Packers practice.
According to The Athletic's Matt Schneidman, Kraft has caught every ball thrown his way over his first two days of 11-on-11s, and he threw in a one-handed catch for good measure.

The clock is ticking loudly at Pittsburgh Steelers training camp at St. Vincent College, and second-year running back Kaleb Johnson may already be running out of time.
Selected in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Iowa, Johnson was once viewed as a potential future fixture in Pittsburgh's backfield. However, as training camp practice number 13 wrapped up on Sunday, the 23-year-old found himself buried on the depth chart, not just behind proven starters Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowdle, but behind journeymen and practice-squad regulars.
In Pittsburgh's preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers, Johnson saw minimal work, logging just two carries for three yards. Instead, backup snaps went to NFL veteran Travis Homer and second-year back Lew Nichols.
Steelers reporter Christopher Carter shared his hopes that the low volume was merely part of an early-preseason rotation on his "Locked on Steelers" podcast. However, he added that his hopes had quickly faded during team periods in Latrobe.
"Kaleb Johnson really didn't see any action. He saw I think what two, five snaps overall. He get two carries for three yards. He was out there after Travis Homer and after Lew Nichols," noted Carter.

Malik Nabers' workload promises to be the major story of the upcoming week for the New York Giants. The star wide receiver, coming back from a pair of surgeries to repair a torn ACL, could participate in team drills for the first time as early as Monday afternoon.
Nabers wore a red jersey on Thursday for the first time while participating in team periods during what head coach John Harbaugh called a "no-physicality" jog through practice.
Nabers has yet to participate in 1-on-1, 7-on-7, or live 11-on-11 drills.
Last week, Harbaugh hinted that Nabers could do work in team periods this week.
"We're looking towards soon ramping him up into some group periods and perhaps some team periods," Harbaugh said. "Maybe next week, we'll see. He's doing great. He's working hard. Spirits are high. And yeah, we'll see where we're at next week."

Taylor Swift flew across the Atlantic to attend Laura Sisk and Oli Jacobs' wedding in the United Kingdom on Saturday. The wedding of the audio engineers took place at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios outside Bath in Gloucestershire.
On Sunday, People Magazine published photos from the wedding, showing Swift sporting a shoulder-length hairstyle and her signature bangs. She wore a navy blue dress with gold floral embroidery. In accessories, she opted for a pearl necklace and her signature bold red lip.
Swift's friends, Jack Antonoff and singer Sabrina Carpenter, also attended.
Taylor Swift has worn shoulder-length hair during several important periods of her career.
During the "1989" era in 2014 and 2015, she cut her long hair into a shoulder-length bob or lob. She kept the wavy, side-swept style through most of the 1989 World Tour before switching to a shorter, chin-length blunt bob in early 2016.

The Philadelphia Eagles knew they had something to work with when they drafted Jeremiah Trotter Jr. If nepotism alone worked out in their favor, he'd be pretty special. They also knew his path to a prominent role wouldn't necessarily be immediate. That seems prophetic now, but patience is being rewarded.
Trotter has spent training camp consistently finding his way around the football, making plays as a run defender and blitzer while showing the instincts that made him such an intriguing prospect coming out of the Clemson Tigers program. With first-round pick Jihaad Campbell alongside established starter Zack Baun, Trotter has another hurdle to clear before becoming a full-time contributor. Still, so far, he has made that decision a lot harder to stand on.
Camp has provided plenty of evidence that Trotter is ready for more responsibility. He has shown up repeatedly in run-defense periods. He has found creases as a blitzer, and he has played with the kind of downhill aggression the Eagles want from their linebackers. That production carried into Philadelphia's preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens. One can argue that Trotter was the best player that the Eagles put on the field.
He was especially active early, recording five tackles before halftime and delivering a delayed blitz that resulted in a sack of Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley. He didn't play the entire game, but he didn't need to. The Eagles got another valuable glimpse of what he can offer when given meaningful opportunities. What's becoming increasingly interesting is the company around him. Campbell received two early series alongside Trotter and continues to show why Philadelphia invested heavily in him.
Baun remains the veteran leader of this corps and one of the defense's most dependable players. Still, rather than allowing that depth to bury Trotter, the competition appears to be bringing out his best football. That's exactly what the Eagles should want. Trotter doesn't need to become a starter overnight to have value. A defense playing deep into the postseason needs linebackers who can step onto the field without creating a noticeable drop-off.

PHILADELPHIA – Mackenzie Dern secured her first ******* le defense Saturday in the UFC 330 co-main event in Philadelphia.
An unsurprisingly grapple-heavy affair went the distance, with Dern (16-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) winning by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 48-47) at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
The fight was hyped as a battle of strawweight grapplers. During fight week, Dern repeatedly affirmed she was on a substantially elevated level from Robertson (17-8 MMA, 14-6 UFC). When it came time to make her case, Dern did just that. She nearly submitted Robertson with a rear-naked choke in the final minute of Round 1, but the Canadian was saved by the horn.
In Round 2, Dern went back to the well and took Robertson down again. Round 3 consisted of more of the same, with Robertson taking elongated periods of time to get Dern off her – whether it was along the fence or on the canvas.
It was deja vu in Round 4, as Dern once again dragged Robertson down and took her back. With four minutes to work, Dern was able to maintain position on Robertson for approximately three minutes. With about 90 seconds left in the round, Robertson reversed Dern and ended up on top in her guard. However, Dern threatened an armbar, and then a knee bar, off her back.

Tapestry (TPR) gave lackluster guidance early Thursday as Kate Spade challenges persist, offsetting an earnings and revenue beat for the fiscal fourth quarter. Intraday, TPR stock plunged below key levels, setting off a sell signal.
The designer handbag, accessories and apparel company's Kate Spade New York brand continued to drag on earnings, outweighing strength in the Coach brand.
For the quarter ended June 27, Tapestry delivered earnings per share of $1.32, ahead of estimates for $1.28. Revenue of $1.88 billion edged past views. Year over year, Tapestry earnings jumped 27% while sales rose 9%.
On a brand level, Kate Spade sales fell 7% in Q4 and were down 11% for the full year. Coach sales grew 14% and 23% over those periods.
Management has struggled to rejuvenate the Kate Spade brand, appointing a new creative director last month.

The Washington Commanders training camp rolls on for Day 11 in Ashburn, VA. Today will be a little different, with the Miami Dolphins in town for a joint practice Wednesday morning and the first preseason game on Friday night.
Head coach Dan Quinn spoke to reporters before the start of Wednesday's practice. Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and linebacker Leo Chenal also held Q&As after practice, while other players were interviewed on the field.
Quinn outlined the structure of the joint practice, which would entail relatively short periods with an emphasis on 1-on-1s, red-zone work, 7-on-7s, team drills, including drive-the-ball work, two-minute drills and you-call-it segments. He didn't provide much information on who would play in Friday's preseason contest against the Dolphins, preferring to hold that information until game day. It's safe to say, though, that first-team guys who work a ton in the joint practices probably won't play in the game.
Daniels had an excellent practice by all accounts, showing the pinpoint accuracy that has become commonplace during this training camp.
Here's more of what we heard from Quinn, Daniels, Chenal and Commanders players on Wednesday morning:

After a low-impact walk-through practice at Stevenson High School yesterday, the Chicago Bears were back at Halas Hall for what head coach Ben Johnson called a "big time practice" today. The plan was to simulate the pregame for all the new guys and have plenty of live scrimmage situations, starting with some short-yardage and goal-line packages.
According to CHGO's Adam Jahns, "The first offense had its way in those periods, especially running to the right side behind 58 and 73."
The Bears were among the league's best last year, running right towards guard Jonah Jackson (73) and tackle Darnell Wright (58), and I expect that to continue in 2026.
Jahns also shouted out D'Andre Swift in the short-yardage situations, and he shared that rookie defensive tackle Jordan van den Berg was with the first string during their goal-line/short-yardage packages.
The Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs also highlighted the first team offense, saying they "ripped off big plays in short yardage – third and 1 – with runs of 29 and 25 yards and an 8-yard completion off a bootleg." But he also mentioned the other side of the ball, saying the "Defense responded to close things out in end of game scenario."

BATON ROUGE — LSU football officially wrapped up its first full week of fall camp with its sixth practice Tuesday, Aug. 11.
The team's first week ended with its first session in full pads at the Charles McClendon Practice Facility. No. 13 LSU is set to open Lane Kiffin's first season as head coach in 25 days when it hosts No. 23 Clemson for a marquee, Week 1 showdown inside Tiger Stadium Sept. 5 (6:30 p.m. CT, ABC).

Today was the first day of full pads, and the media was allowed to view the usual three periods, which is about 12–15 minutes.
During that session, I spent time hitting each position group, but the groups I spent the most time with were the edges, offensive line, QBs, and skill positions.
Let's start with the DBs and linebackers. Faheem Delane was still working with the first unit at the safety position. He looked really good in the limited amount of time I was able to view him. They were primarily focusing on alignment, depth, and having good eye discipline.
As for the linebackers, TJ Dottery and Whit Weeks were TJ Dottery and Whit Weeks. Nothing more needs to be said. Davion Keys was looking very crisp throughout the individual periods as well.
During the portion of practice where I watched the star position, I was able to see CJ Jimcoily, and he looks like a great fit for this spot. Dashawn Spears is the guy, but it's comforting knowing he has great depth behind him.

Sports bodies should prioritise routine screening and regular monitoring of elite athletes' mental health, the International Olympic Committee has reported.
The IOC says fostering good mental health and wellbeing must be done across the board with the timing of support critical.
A consensus statement from the IOC states screening and monitoring mental health should be done at predefined points and after significant events, and also address training and competition factors.
"While recognition of overt mental health disorders in elite athletes remains essential, situating athlete wellbeing within a dynamic continuum offers an additional framework for understanding the spectrum of psychological functioning in this population," said the IOC in a statement published online in the British Journal of Sports Medicine.
"For example, elite athletes may experience transient stress reactions related to competitions, to various temporary setbacks that are a normal and common part of elite athlete life, or to intense training periods.

We're almost there -- the New Orleans Saints released their first unofficial depth chart ahead of Saturday's preseason game with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and for the most part, it's what you expect. The starting offensive line looks like what we've seen at training camp. It's the same pecking order at running back with Kendre Miller at RB3, even while he's missed several days of practice reps with an injury. Backups like Audric Estime and Devin Neal need to do more with their own reps to unseat him (and in Neal's case, also get healthy). But there are some points of note and takeaways from this first depth chart. It's important to remember this is an unofficial document made for media purposes, not a set-in-stone reflection of how the team is operating at practice every day. Coaches are going to stack some of these positions differently.
And here is what we learned:
There isn't much of a buffer between Simpkins (an undrafted free agent last year) and Wright (a rookie fourth-round pick) and the opportunity to play under the bright lights. Both backups are listed on the second-string offense behind Erik McCoy and Cesar Ruiz, respectively. And that's before Dillon Radunz goes on injured reserve. The Saints listed Radunz as the backup left guard but he's been practicing ahead of Wright until his recent knee injury. We may see William Sherman get the nod in a pinch, but look for Wright to log a ton of snaps this preseason.
This may not be too surprising if you've been keeping up with the daily highlight reels from practice, but being drafted in Round 6 doesn't mean you're a slam dunk to make the team. Brown followed that up by making some big catches in team drills, routinely getting open in one-on-one sessions, and standing out during special teams periods. He's listed as the immediate backup behind Chris Olave on the second-team offense as well the primary returner on both punts and kickoffs. He's still behind Jordyn Tyson and Devaughn Vele, sure. Brown is on the fast track to not just make the 53-man roster but to see meaningful snaps on Sundays.
The workload for respected veterans like Cameron Jordan and Alvin Kamara has been obvious. Jordan practiced with the second-string defense behind Chase Young and Carl Granderson (before his hamstring injury flared up) while Kamara mainly worked in passing situations and third downs with Travis Etienne Jr. seeing early-down work. Both of them have taken a backseat to new arrivals and younger teammates. But that isn't reflected on this unofficial depth chart. Jordan is listed as a starter with Young "or" Granderson starting at the other edge rusher spot. Kamara has the same "or" designation with Etienne. It's a symbol of respect for the vets but it doesn't reflect the team's plans for them. Young and Etienne are going to play as many snaps as they can handle.

The Tennessee ******* ans and San Francisco 49ers had a scrappy joint practice on Aug. 11 in Santa Clara.
The ******* ans offense and 49ers defense were especially chippy during team practice periods during several points after plays.

Starting left tackle Dan Moore and depth offensive tackle Austin Deculus was each thrown out of practice in different scuffles throughout the 11-on-11 periods.

Both River Plate and Boca Juniors are going through one of the most difficult periods of their modern history. Massive spending, coaching carousels, and an apparent struggle to adapt to a rapidly changing football landscape have put Argentina's two biggest clubs on remarkably similar paths that are headed in the wrong direction.
The Superclásico remains one of the biggest events in world football, but the institutions behind it are struggling to live up to the extraordinary standards they established over the past two decades. River Plate and Boca Juniors continue to have enormous fanbases worldwide, some of the largest commercial operations in South American football, and the ability to spend more than most of their domestic rivals. Yet the results on the pitch increasingly fail to reflect those advantages.
That contradiction is at the heart of the current crisis. Argentina's two biggest clubs have more resources than almost any other team in the country, but neither has been able to turn those resources into a sustainable sporting project.
Argentine soccer has changed dramatically over the last two decades. There was a time when the Primera División was structured around the familiar Apertura and Clausura tournaments, a format that gave Argentine football a recognizable rhythm and identity. The system was not perfect, but supporters understood the stakes and knew that two separate league champions would be crowned each year.

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton spoke with reporters after practice on Monday at Missouri Western State University. He shared a progress report of this year's practice sessions and reflected on his history at training camp.
"Yeah, I think every day we're making strides," said Bolton. "Being the team we want to be, obviously, X's and O's-wise, but just the mental part, the conditioning, concentration during long periods, long practices, long drive drills and stuff like that. So, I think we're doing a good job coming together so far."
Bolton finished the 2025 season leading the Chiefs with 154 total tackles, along with a sack and an interception. The defense is looking for an improved year as Bolton reflected on his past six seasons at training camp.
"Every year is a little bit different. This year I had a little bit more time in the offseason, kind of work on my body. More so now it's just communication-wise, making sure everybody's on the same page; obviously I did that before. I'm trying to take it to a different level, making sure that everybody's speaking the same language," said Bolton. "Every signal is the same, so there is no confusion in the back end and stuff like that." So, I'm working some more on X's and O's, in terms of my position and how I can help other people around me."
Bolton was selected as an alternate for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games last season but is still striving for his first official invitation.

In the latest Indianapolis Colts training camp practice, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner looked like DeForest Buckner.
As noted by the Indy Star's Joel Erickson, Buckner would have two wins during the offensive line vs. defensive line one-on-one period on Sunday. Then, during the final team period, he made his way into the backfield twice and had a run stop.
"Whenever Buck is out there, you can definitely feel him," Shane Steichen said, via Colts.com. "It's great to get him out there getting some team reps. Again, monitoring him through training camp, where his body's at, but he feels good. He feels good where he's at."
Buckner has been ramping up during training camp. After sustaining a neck injury last season that required surgery, he spent the offseason rehabbing.
Recently, Buckner has been taking part in the 11-on-11 periods after initially only taking part in individual drills early in camp.

The Tennessee ******* ans will be in Santa Clara for a joint practice and preseason game with the San Francisco 49ers this week, and some of the critical position battles will get a chance to take center stage. However, one of those may already be decided.
When training camp opened, the battles along the interior of the offensive line at center and right guard were two of the most anticipated, but after only two weeks, it appears that free agent addition Austin Schlottmann is close to having the center job locked up. At least, that was one of the big takeaways from ESPN's Turron Davenport in his latest intel report.
The center position is still a competition, but it seems like veteran Austin Schlottmann will win the job. Left guard Peter Skoronski said Schlottmann has helped accelerate his learning process because of their time together with the ******* ans, when they were with the Giants. Pat Coogan continues to get early reps but has struggled at times with off-target snaps to Mitchell Trubisky during team periods.
This was also backed up by the release of the ******* ans' first depth chart of the preseason, which lists Pat Coogan behind veteran Andre James and Schlottmann. While the depth chart is fluid at this stage, Davenport isn't the only dedicated observer of training camp who has made that ******* ertion after the first two weeks, and it sounds like the right call.

Hilaria Baldwin says the biggest lesson she has learned from more than 15 years with Alec Baldwin comes down to one rule. Both people have to keep wanting the relationship.
"You both have to want to be there," Hilaria told Fox News Digital while reflecting on how she and Alec have navigated difficult periods together.
The couple met in February 2011 and married in June 2012. They have since welcomed seven children together while moving through what Hilaria described as the "ups," "downs" and "sideways" parts of a long-term relationship.
Hilaria shared the marriage advice while discussing her appearance on FOX's celebrity competition series Nation's Dumbest, and said the same principle now shapes what she tells friends who come to her with relationship problems.
Speaking with Fox News Digital, Hilaria pointed first to the length of her relationship with Alec. "Oh, it's been more than 15 years. We met February 2011," she said.

Jared Padalecki deleted a public message supporting Perez Hilton during his hospitalization after saying he had been unaware of the extent of the celebrity blogger's controversial history.
The Supernatural actor initially reached out to Hilton on August 8 after the blogger was hospitalized following a disturbing TikTok livestream in which he appeared to harm himself. Padalecki encouraged him to accept support and told him that difficult periods can pass.
A day later, Padalecki removed the message after commenters directed his attention to Hilton's past celebrity coverage. "I didn't know," the actor wrote in his initial response. "It's been brought to my attention. I'm sorry."
Padalecki later explained that he knew Hilton had been a sensationalist tabloid personality and had heard that the blogger had written unkind things about him, but said he had never researched Hilton or understood the broader criticism surrounding his work.
Padalecki expanded on the deletion in a follow-up message reported by Entertainment Weekly. "I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA about his past," he wrote.

Kate Ferdinand has hit back at claims that she married Rio Ferdinand for his money, joking that anyone searching for an easy wealthy husband would hardly have chosen the complicated family situation she stepped into.
The former TOWIE star addressed the "gold digger" label during a Blended discussion with Rio and co-host Cilla Kessie. Kate pointed to the reality of becoming a stepmother to Rio's three children while they were still navigating the death of their mother, Rebecca Ellison.
"I always say if I wanted to pick a rich man I could have picked a lot easier one without all the kids," Kate said. She told Rio that she chose him because she loved him, while acknowledging that their relationship has included both rewarding and difficult periods.
Rio also reflected on how dramatically Kate's life changed after they became a couple. He admitted there have been times when he has wondered whether she would have had a far less complicated life without him and the family responsibilities that came with their relationship.
Kate directly addressed ******* umptions about Rio's wealth during the conversation. "People think I'm a gold digger, I'm with him for money," she said in comments also reported by The Sun.

Here's everything Houston Texans defensive coordinator Matt Burke said following Saturday's evening practice, including his thoughts on the Texans' newest addition, Jadeveon Clowney.
Question: On how he believes the defense performed in practice
Matt Burke: "It was okay. We made some plays. I wasn't happy with the way we started practice, to be honest with you. Some of those scripted periods, too much in that short yardage period. I thought when we got into the call-up periods, those guys started playing. Part of the intent for tonight was to kind of push them through this little bit longer drives, a little bit longer sessions than we kind of been going at a time. For those guys to push through when you're really taxing mentally and when you're tired. It's can you execute some of the stuff we're doing? We tried to put them in a lot of different spots and with a lot of different calls. I'm happy with the way that the execution really turned out."
Q: On whether CB Derek Stingley Jr. had a rest day
Burke: "Yeah, he's fine. He's fine."
