Leeds United made it four unbeaten to start the Premier League campaign with a convincing 4-1 victory over Newcastle United under the lights at Elland Road.
Riding the momentum and scoring three first half goals, Noah Okafor added to the tally in the second period to shoot the Whites up to third in the top-flight standings.
After the game, Daniel Farke said: "On rare occasions even for a manager, it is a joy to watch a football game, and especially his team playing. But this was one of those rare occasions so I also enjoyed my team playing tonight.
"It was an excellent performance, really, from the first to nearly the last second, and also sadly not a clean sheet in the end. But overall, a top-class performance and I am proud of my boys.
"We wanted to press Newcastle and wanted to dominate this game. But on the other hand, you also have to be aware how much pace they have up front.

President Donald Trump hasn't been permitted to drive on public roads since taking office in 2016, in accordance with long-standing Secret Service protocols. These rules, introduced after the **** assination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963, prohibit both the president and vice president from driving themselves — even after they leave office.
HELLO!'s US Royal News Correspondent Alexandra Hurtado shared her expert insight into the topic. "After becoming president in 2017, President Trump himself said he liked to drive, but could no longer do so. While he may have given up the driver's seat of a car, he has been seen during his presidency behind the wheel of a golf cart," she shared.
Like all modern U.S. presidents, Trump was chauffeured in "The Beast," a heavily armored Cadillac limousine. Despite no longer getting behind the wheel, Trump has maintained an impressive car collection over the years, featuring luxury brands such as Cadillac, Rolls-Royce, and Lamborghini. **** O! takes a closer look at the luxury cars Donald Trump has owned over the years.
Donald Trump sat with his grandson in The Beast (@ Instagram)
Just before his first election in 2016, Trump was spotted behind the wheel of a brand-new Rolls-Royce Phantom – a fitting choice for someone with a taste for luxury. Decades earlier, he also owned a 1956 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, believed to be one of the first cars he ever purchased. According to reports, he would take it out for a spin on special occasions, making it a cherished piece in his early collection.

Two wins in the Bundesliga, one in the cup, one in the UEFA Champions League – BVB have recently celebrated four consecutive victories. In the Bundesliga table, the Black and Yellows sit in third place with the maximum return of six points. Speaking about the clash against Villarreal FC (3:2) in midweek, BVB coach Niko Kovac said: "Of course, you expend a lot physically, but also mentally. Now it's about getting the mental side back under control immediately in order to switch back to the Bundesliga." His team are the favorites against the newly promoted side: "We're playing at home and we want to win, that's our goal." But: "There are no easy games in the Bundesliga. You have to approach them in a way that means you're fully there right away. That's why I want my boys to step on the gas from the first minute and get our fans behind us again as quickly as possible so that we can play successful football."
Nico Schlotterbeck and Ramy Bensebaini have returned to team training after their injuries and are available for the Paderborn match. "They are fit, healthy and ready to play this weekend. I can count on both of them," said Kovac. Konstantinos Karetsas will not be involved after having to be substituted in the game against Villarreal FC due to circulation problems. Read more now!
SC Paderborn have been promoted to the Bundesliga for the third time in the club's history. "A team with the ambition to stay in the league. We will certainly be facing a deep block from the opposition, who will want to hit on the counter," said Kovac. On matchday one, the team picked up a point away at FSV Mainz 05 (0:0) and then lost 1:0 at home to SC Freiburg. They currently sit 12th in the table. Despite 23 shots on goal, Paderborn have yet to score. Defensively, however, they have not allowed much either and have goalkeeper Nahuel Noll to thank, as he has conceded only one goal so far. Paderborn's Felix Götze (in the BVB youth setup until 2014) and Steffen Tigges (2019 to 2022) also wore the Black and Yellow shirt in the past.
BVB have never lost a competitive match against SC Paderborn: there have been two meetings in the DFB-Pokal, and on both occasions the Black and Yellows advanced to the next round. In the Bundesliga, Borussia have won two matches so far, while two others ended in draws. The last Bundesliga meeting at the end of May 2020 is especially memorable. In this ghost game in Paderborn played behind closed doors due to the coronavirus, the Black and Yellows produced a poor first half but improved after the break. All seven goals in the 6:1 victory came in the second half. It was the highest-scoring half of the 2019/20 season. For BVB, Jadon Sancho (3), Thorgan Hazard, Achraf Hakimi and Marcel Schmelzer, with the last goal of his professional career, were on target.Christina Reinke

Drew Petzing would rather not rotate offensive linemen.
"I'd like to have five Hall of Famers up there that we're going to sit in there for 15 years and roll," he said Thursday, Sept. 10, in Allen Park.
But after managing line rotations on multiple occasions during his three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, the Detroit Lions' first-year offensive coordinator said a left guard rotation like the one the Lions could use Sunday against the New Orleans Saints (1 p.m., Fox) could benefit the team.
"I think the reality of the NFL ... is sometimes the best thing for the team is not to [have one lineman take all the snaps]," Petzing said. "And it's an opportunity for those guys to continue to compete and earn their reps and to help this team win games. So looking forward to seeing whatever that ends up looking like one way or the other kind of play out on Sunday."
Christian Mahogany started 11 games at left guard for the Lions last season and took most of the first-team reps at the position this summer, but Lions coach Dan Campbell said he planned to rotate Mahogany and Ben Bartch at left guard in practice this week.

The Apertura 2026 has once again confirmed the evolution of Diego Campillo. The center back who came through the Cantera Rojiblanca has established himself as an immensely valuable piece for Guadalajara and, matchday after matchday, has shown that his growth goes hand in hand with a greater influence within Gabriel Milito's system.
Ahead of Jornada 8, in which Chivas will host Pumas at Estadio AKRON, Campillo emerges as the player to watch for El Rebaño Sagrado, both because of the level he has shown throughout the tournament and because of his previous performances against the university side.
The 24-year-old defender has played in 6 of Guadalajara's 7 matches in AP26, and he has found an ideal setting in the libero position to maximize some of his main strengths: reading the game, defending large ****** es and his ability to initiate attacks from the back.
Campillo has become one of the main players responsible for maintaining Guadalajara's high defensive line. On many occasions, he is the last man back and, from that position, he has had to directly face forwards with tremendous quality and very different characteristics.
Throughout this tournament, he has demonstrated his ability to prevail in individual duels against powerful and fast attackers, while also improving considerably when defending the ****** e behind the defensive line.

Over the past several years, Angel Reese has emerged as one of the most high-profile female athletes on the planet. With that, however, has come some unwanted attention when she posts certain photos on social media.
Reese has never been shy about sharing photos in bikinis or other forms of revealing clothing. And she made it pretty clear that she has no intention of apologizing for it.
In addition to sharing bikini photos on her own social channels, Reese has also appeared in the SI Swimsuit and has also partnered with Victoria's Secret on a number of occasions.
Back in 2023, when Reese was still with the LSU Tigers at the college level, Reese posed with SI Swimsuit for the first time.
"I had on thong bathing suits and I didn't think I was going to be comfortable, but [everyone] made me feel really comfortable," Reese said at the time. "I work out a lot. I embrace my body and who I am and every mark on my body. I probably feel the ******* iest in a bathing suit."

Fifteen years, hundreds of matches, goals, victories and star players. Since its opening in September 2011, the Stadium has become Juventus' home and one of the iconic venues in the club's recent history. These fifteen years can also be told through the numbers.
The Men's First Team have played 389 official matches at the Stadium, recording 282 wins, 76 draws and just 31 defeats. That's a win rate of over 72 per cent.
In these matches, Juventus have scored 778 goals, conceded 265 and kept a clean sheet on 195 occasions: practically one clean sheet every two matches.
Serie A naturally accounts for the largest share, with 287 matches, followed by the UEFA Champions League with 59, the Italian Cup with 35 and the UEFA Europa League with 8.
The first official goal was scored by Stephan Lichtsteiner against Parma on 11 September 2011. A few weeks later, on 2 October against Milan, the first brace at the Stadium was scored by Claudio Marchisio.

Prince Harry's move to the UK has raised questions about which members of the Royal Family he may reconnect with. While attention often centers on his strained relationships with senior royals, some fans appear to have another reunion in mind. A recent poll has revealed the family member they would most like to see Harry meet publicly.
Prince Harry could have several opportunities to see members of the Royal Family following his move to the UK, but fans have one particular reunion at the top of their list. A recent poll found that the fans who responded most want to see Harry meet publicly with Peter Phillips, Princess Anne's son.
Phillips received 256 votes in The Daily Express poll, placing him ahead of every other royal included in the survey. King Charles came second with 217 votes. More than 1,000 people participated in the poll, which opened at 7 a.m. on September 3 and closed at 11:20 a.m. on September 5.
The result is notable because Phillips, like Harry, is not a working royal. A public appearance between the two could take place outside the formal duties usually ***** ociated with senior members of the Royal Family.
Harry's return to the UK has increased the possibility of him crossing paths with relatives at public and family occasions. He recently relocated to the UK with Meghan Markle and their two children. Although Harry and Meghan stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and are not expected to resume their roles as working royals, they may still attend charitable events and other occasions involving the wider royal family.

Pamela Anderson opted for a wild pair of animal-printed pumps while in attendance at the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony held during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival today in Venice. The ceremony was held to honor actress Ellen Burstyn, best known for her work in "Requiem for a Dream," "The Exorcist" and "Flowers in the Attic." For the prestigious event, Anderson sported a pair of leopard-printed pumps. The shoe choice featured pointed toes and black and white uppers, a departure from your usual brown and black leopard print. Stiletto heels standing at around 3 to 4 inches in height rounded out the printed set. Similar styles to Anderson's can be found from brands like Nine West, Saint Laurent and Sam Edelman. In typical fashion, Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) has been an extremely volatile stock to own in the past five years. During this time, the share price fell at least 30% on three separate occasions.
But unlike historical trends, this electric vehicle (EV) stock has underperformed the S&P 500 index over the trailing half decade. It's up only 54% during this time (as of Sept. 4), while the benchmark has climbed 71%.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
This business continues to live in the spotlight, which will certainly result in persistently heightened volatility for investors to deal with. Where will Tesla be in five years?
On Sept. 3, Tesla held an invite-only event launching its much-hyped Cybercab vehicle. The car design, which comes with no pedals and no steering wheel, was revealed nearly two years ago in October 2024. However, the company finally introduced a small number of Cybercabs to its Austin robotaxi fleet. There are 250 vehicles in the total robotaxi fleet (also including model Y's) that Tesla operates both in Texas and Florida.

Khadija Shaw netted a brace while Mary Fowler was also on target as The Cityzens were victorious on opening day.
It was the visitors who almost got off to a dream start. They won a corner inside the opening 30 seconds, but Marie Levasseur saw her effort cleared off the goal-line.
Océane Hurtré then almost capitalised on a back-pass, but home keeper Ayaka Yamashita did just about enough to deal with the danger.
At the other end, Shaw met Lauren Hemp's cross, but she couldn't beat Sophie Baggaley. Hemp soon produced another cross from the left which was met by Shaw, but she was again unable to take advantage,
Manchester City captain Alex Greenwood and Aoba Fujino had further efforts on the Birmingham City goal, but Baggaley was able to produce saves on both occasions. Fowler then slipped the ball to Shaw, who looked certain to score, but Neve Herron defended well and managed to perform a block.

After losing to Real Betis on Friday, Real Madrid are hoping to bounce back when they host Inter Milan in their Champions League opener on Tuesday. Jose Mourinho failed to win European football's premier competition during his first spell in charge, and that failure will drive him to ensure that he achieves this goal second time around.
If they are to claim La Decimosexta come next June, Real Madrid must ensure they finish inside the top eight in the league phase, as this will see them avoid the jeopardy of the play-off round, which they have featured in on the two occasions since the new format premiered. Getting off to a good start against Inter will be crucial, although Mourinho looks set to be without one of his key players for the match.
In the closing stages of the Betis defeat, Marc Cucurella had to be replaced by Alvaro Carreras. Mourinho revealed in his post-match press conference that the full-back suffered with cramps, but it has since been reported that the 2026 World Cup winner is a major doubt to face the Nerazzurri because of this issue, as per MD.
Cucurella will not be out for long, but the idea is that he does not recover in time to face Inter. Mourinho will know that taking any unnecessary risks with one of his key players would be unwise, which is why Carreras is likely to make his return to the starting line-up, having been left out for the matches against Malaga and Betis.
All being well, Real Madrid will be able to manage without Cucurella for the match against Inter. He should be fine to return for the encounter with Rayo Vallecano next weekend, at which point Los Blancos will try to return to winning ways on the domestic scene.

It's been roughly three months since the New York Knicks became champions of the basketball world. For the first time in 53 years, and after long stretches of misery, the franchise finally reached the pinnacle of success, but the journey was not easy.
In fact, throughout the playoffs, the Knicks found themselves down big on several occasions, only to mount amazing comebacks that defined their run. Recently, Knicks swingman Mikal Bridges spoke about the comebacks and the conditions that made it possible to survive overwhelming odds.
"The Cavs series, that Game 1, being down 22 in the 4th. Last year in the playoffs, being down a lot," said Bridges in a chat with Men's Health. "We had opportunities where we had been in the same situations and succeeded. It's having that faith of being here before. Obviously, it's different being in the Finals than any other playoff series, but it's still just another game. It's just having that belief and taking it one possession at a time; we've been here before, we've done it before. Ain't gonna get it back in one possession, still a lot of time left. A lot of us have been in the league for a long time, and we know in this day and age, with the fast pace and a lot of threes, that even down 27 points at halftime, you still have a lot of time. And being at home, having the crowd behind your back, it's gonna put pressure on them."
The Knicks went 53-29 in the 2025-26 season, and most critics had them a tier below the Cavaliers, Celtics, and Pistons in the East. In the playoffs, however, the Knicks dominated the field, going 16-3 in an impressive performance. Along the way, they faced fierce resistance, overcoming a 22-point deficit in the opening game against the Cavaliers.
Their unlikeliest win, however, was in the Finals. In Game 4 of the series, the Knicks went down by as much as 29 points, but somehow came back and won (107-106) off a buzzer-beater from OG Anunoby. It seemed impossible at the time, but the Knicks always felt that victory was within reach.

Bayern Munich did not see this coming. Schalke came out with intent, and their low block was executed to perfection. A well-deserved point for the Royal Blues.
Fantastic defending, coupled with quick, incisive passing, and attacking initiative on counters meant Schalke was a thorn up Bayern's backside the entire game. Bayern were a snoozefest in the first half, and only the substitutions of Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Jamal Musiala into the game injected energy and purpose into the attack.
Tough day for the awards, but here are the standout performers from what was an absolute tussle of a game.
Karius just had the GAME OF HIS LIFE.
5 SUREFIRE goals saved. 3 high claims and 9 recoveries. There were other Schalke players having a better game up until the 60' mark, when Karius decided to single-handedly save his team on multiple occasions, denying Luis Díaz, Harry Kane, and Lennart Karl from point-blank range. Schalke have their star keeper to thank for keeping a point at home.

Management is prioritizing a return to core fundamentals in the Snacks division, specifically targeting households with kids for Goldfish and launching national brand campaigns for Pepperidge Farm.
The Meals and Beverage segment is leaning into 'semi-scratch' cooking trends, which represent 50% of at-home cooking occasions, by focusing on convenience with 5-ingredient-or-less recipes.
Performance attribution highlights a divergence in the soup portfolio, where cooking-related products (broth and condensed) are performing well while 'eating' soups require further innovation to meet consumer value needs.
The company is implementing a new $500 million enterprise cost-savings program through fiscal 2030, focusing on procurement efficiencies and supply chain network optimization.

WASHINGTON (AP) — It was hard to tell which Washington rookie was more excited after his big league debut, Yohandy Morales or Jared Simpson.
Morales had three hits, including a homer. Simpson threw three perfect innings and got the win. Both were called up from the minors before the game, and the Nationals' expanded roster beat the Atlanta Braves 9-5 on Tuesday night.
"Unbelievable from both of those guys," Nationals manager Blake Butera said.
This was the second time since 1901 a player homered in his debut, while a different player on the same team earned the win on the mound in his debut, according to Sportradar. It also happened on April 4, 2005, when Colorado's Jeff Baker homered against San Diego, and Ryan Speier of the Rockies got the win in the season opener.
On five other occasions, the same player has both homered and earned the win in his debut: Kenta Maeda of the Dodgers in 2016, Jason Jennings of the Rockies in 2001, John Montefusco of the Giants in 1974, Hal Haydel of the Twins in 1970 and Denny McLain of the Tigers in 1963.

Kim Kardashian returned to one of her go-to formal shoe silhouettes for This Is About Humanity's 8th Annual Soiree in Hollywood on Aug. 29, wearing what appear to be vintage Manolo Blahnik Prisca lace-up sandals. Kim Kardashian Getty Images for This Is About H Her skirt concealed much of the taupe heels, leaving their angular open toes and slim front straps on display. The leather straps are designed to crisscross up the legs, much like a gladiator sandal, stopping just below the knees, while 3- to 4-inch stiletto heels complete the silhouette. A closer look at Kim Kardashian's shoes. Getty Kardashian has worn the silhouette for previous formal occasions, in shades of yellow and metallic black. The open-toe shape is a familiar one for summer shoes, save for the leg-length laces, which provide the drama. Manolo Blahnik's lace-up style is also available in metallic gold and silver, along with other color-blocked iterations. Kardashian paired her vintage footwear with a cream-colored Maison Margiela mirrored knit, worn off the shoulders and partly undone to reveal her vintage black bullet bra beneath. Croke Park's storied history contains some of Irish sport's most seminal moments.
Primarily a stadium for Gaelic games, there have been occasions when other sports graced the hallowed turf and on 19 July 1972, punches replaced points as Muhammad Ali took on Al 'Blue' Lewis.
When Katie Taylor makes her final career ringwalk on Saturday with the undisputed light-welterweight crown on offer against Flora Pili, 54 years will have passed since 'The Greatest' starred at the since redeveloped venue.
While Ali was the main attraction in 1972, it was Belfast's Paddy Maguire who boxed last on that balmy Wednesday evening, coming through on points against France's Guy Caudron.
"It's hard to believe it has taken so long for boxing to return to Croke Park," Maguire told BBC Sport NI.

Believe it or not, Soleil Moon Frye turned 50 on August 6, 2026. As one of the '80s stars who grew up to be gorgeous, Frye became a familiar face thanks to her role as Punky in "Punky Brewster," which aired from 1984 to 1988. "Punky is still such a huge part of my heart and soul," Frye told People in March 2021. "If I'm 88 and people still want to call me Punky, I'd be thrilled."
Although playing Punky may be the thing for which Frye is best known, over the years, she's appeared in other series, including "Saved by the Bell" and "Friends. She's also gotten married and had four kids (to no surprise, Soleil Moon Frye's daughters look so much like their famous mom). Frye has also had quite the style evolution since her days as Punky Brewster and being a teen star in the 1990s. "I immediately think of the scary clothes that I wore," Frye told Parade in August 2011 about her memories of that era. "Catsuits were big for me in the '90s, and I had many of them... I remember wearing a skintight bright cherry-red dress to my Sweet 16 party, and none of my friends told me I looked out of sight!"
With catsuits in the rearview mirror, Frye has had more than a few fabulous fashion occasions. From never surrendering her Doc Marten boots to the best way to style a chic blazer, Frye has slayed so many looks. In other words, her 40s were full of memorable style moments.

When you think of College GameDay, you think of a festive, joyous atmosphere that celebrates college football and campuses around the country. But it wasn't always that way, especially if Lee Corso dared to pick the visiting team.
Before his retirement at the beginning of last season, Corso's mascot headgear pick was the climax of the program and one of the highlights of televised sports every week across the fall. Thankfully, ESPN has decided to retire the tradition along with him as it hasn't been picked up since. But the hype and anticipation for who he would pick and whether he would ride with the home team or dare to go against the grain was a huge deal.
And it was apparently too huge for some.
Longtime College GameDay ******* yst Kirk Herbstreit appeared on The Press Box podcast with Bryan Curtis at The Ringer and detailed a couple of scary incidents where fans were so upset over Corso's headgear picks that they actually threw projectiles at the set in the early years of the road show. Once it was a golf ball, and another time it was a full beer can. Herbstreit said that after the second occasion, the show put up a protective net behind the stage to ensure the safety of the on-air personalities.
"I remember two different occasions. We were at LSU doing an LSU-Alabama game and Corso picked Alabama. And he put on an elephant hat. This is before he did the helmets. And he had a massive Alabama red or crimson flag with an "A" on it and he's picking Alabama right in the heart of Baton Rouge. And here comes a golf ball flying from I don't know, 30 yards out, and it just happened to hit the flag that he was waving and it landed right on the desk," Herbstreit said.

Pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) is one of Jim Cramer's favorite stocks in the sector. Over the course of this year, the CNBC TV host has praised the firm on multiple occasions. Among the reasons that he has been optimistic about Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) include the firm's cancer drug portfolio and its Triple A balance sheet. For instance, in his July 6th appearance on Mad Money, Cramer remarked that "P&Gs and the J&Js in your portfolio allow you to safely own the techs." With tech stocks struggling recent due to concerns about the data center buildout, it was unsurprising that Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) popped up on his radar once again on August 24th:
"I've been using that one stock JNJ to be able to [example] becuase it has a better balance sheet at this point than the US government, it doesn't need money, it's got very good science. It's not hostage to the government right now. It's got more new drugs than any of the, 18 new compounds, could be a billion dollars. And I come back and say, all right, well that's the treasury, plus the upside."
Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ)'s shares are up by more than 50% over the past year. Cramer's optimism about the firm covers several, but not all, aspects of the debate surrounding the firm. While Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) has raised its full-year revenue guidance to a midpoint of $101 billion, removed headwinds related to its longstanding talcum powder lawsuits and posted strong growth with its Darzalex and Tremfya drugs for myeloma and psoriasis, concerns about its MedTech growth, flat profits growth and a 55.7% sales hit to its immune system disorders drug Stelara continue to raise the potential for headwinds.
For instance, Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ)'s MedTech business grew by a mere 3.6% in the second quarter as it was impacted by a slowdown in sales of heart-recovery devices following a study in the United Kingdom. Additionally, for a firm that's struggling on the net income growth front, $5.5 billion in talc powder settlements will continue to be a headwind to the cash flow. Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) is due to pay $3 billion out of the $5.5 billion in 2027. Yet, at the same time, the diversified business nature means that some segments are growing. One example is the Innovative Medicine Business, which grew by 6.8% to $16.4 billion revenue, due to Darzalex and Tremfya.
Looking at hedge fund sentiment, while 113 out of the 1,022 funds part of Insider Monkey's Q1 database had held a stake in Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), the figure jumped to 117 out of 1,006 funds in Q2. Among the notable additions was Polar Capital's $199 million stake, while Fisher ****** et Management ****** ped its stake by 44% to $3.3 billion. On the valuation front, Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) trades at a forward P/E ratio of 23.4,2 which is lower than MRK's 56.82 and higher than AbbVie's 18.83. Shares short as a percentage of float are negligible at roughly 1%.
