TMZ reported that the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority voted unanimously on Sept. 11 to proceed with the name change. Airport officials are hoping to work with the country legend's estate on potential merchandise and licensing revenue.
The "Jolene" songwriter created another tourist hotspot before her death. Dolly Parton's Songwriter Hotel and museum opens in October 2026. The museum covers every decade of her life. Of course, there is a music venue on a different floor. Then there is a separate lounge for more live music called "Joelene's" and a cafe.

Wilson's criticism of artificial intelligence goes beyond the joke. She told PEOPLE that AI is taking work from creative professionals while creating environmental costs, and she argued that AI generated art lacks the human emotion and intention behind creative work.
Her casting has also prompted comparisons with her estranged father, Elon Musk, whose companies include artificial intelligence venture xAI and Tesla, which is developing the Optimus humanoid robot. TMZ interpreted the campaign as a shot at Musk, but Wilson and Desigual have not said DESI84 represents him or Optimus.

"I took this personally when I got the invite, because in the invite, it said, 'If you're getting this, you mean a lot to us,'" the country singer told the ***** ociated Press in an interview released July 17. He attended the July 3 wedding at New York City's Madison Square Garden with his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley – alongside hundreds of high-profile guests.

Adam Sandler officiated the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, and according to Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, the "Happy Gilmore" star gave the couple some "pretty good" marriage advice during the ceremony.

For Melissa Gilbert, the death of her former costar Daveigh Chase is a cautionary tale.
The Emmy-nominated actress, who worked with a young Chase on a TV pilot, paid tribute to the late "Lilo & Stitch" star in an emotional Instagram post Monday, June 29.
