Dolly Parton and Tennessee go hand in hand. Dollywood already draws tourists who love her music. But the state has officially decided to honor her by changing the name of Nashville International Airport so every traveler will be familiar with her name.
TMZ reported that the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority voted unanimously on Sept. 11 to proceed with the name change. Airport officials are hoping to work with the country legend's estate on potential merchandise and licensing revenue.
The "Jolene" songwriter created another tourist hotspot before her death. Dolly Parton's Songwriter Hotel and museum opens in October 2026. The museum covers every decade of her life. Of course, there is a music venue on a different floor. Then there is a separate lounge for more live music called "Joelene's" and a cafe.

"I am so proud of this," Parton told PEOPLE. "We found this location early one morning. I knew I wanted to do something special in Nashville, and until I saw this building, nothing ever hit me as the right thing to do."

Vivian Wilson's newest co-star is a humanoid robot, and she spends much of their time together finding increasingly strange jobs for it to do.
The 22-year-old model fronts Desigual's Fall 2026 "Born to Disobey" campaign alongside DESI84, a robotic **** istant that struggles once Wilson pushes it beyond its programming. She walks it on a leash, uses it as a golf tee and repeatedly tries to teach it how to **** ounce Desigual before ending the film with the line, "Some things aren't meant to be fixed."
Wilson's criticism of artificial intelligence goes beyond the joke. She told PEOPLE that AI is taking work from creative professionals while creating environmental costs, and she argued that AI generated art lacks the human emotion and intention behind creative work.
Her casting has also prompted comparisons with her estranged father, Elon Musk, whose companies include artificial intelligence venture xAI and Tesla, which is developing the Optimus humanoid robot. TMZ interpreted the campaign as a shot at Musk, but Wilson and Desigual have not said DESI84 represents him or Optimus.
Wilson said concerns about employment were among the reasons she wanted to speak about artificial intelligence through the campaign.

Amanda Seyfried captured a cool, off-duty Italian summer vibe in a sheer cardigan and micro shorts, completing her look with a Miu Miu bag. On September 6, the "Jennifer's Body" star was spotted leaving Harry's Bar in Venice with a friend during the Venice International Film Festival.
For her nighttime outing in Paris, Amanda Seyfried wore a lightweight, sheer knit cardigan ****** oned up over a crisp white layer. The cardigan featured vertical ribbing and a cropped length, which revealed a sliver of her toned midriff. Below them, she wore high-waisted denim cutoff shorts with raw, frayed hems, giving the outfit an easygoing, laid-back edge. The shorts put her long legs on full display.
Styled by longtime collaborator Elizabeth Stewart, "The Housemaid" star brought an elevated, high-fashion polish to the casual outfit. She carried a chic black Miu Miu Shiny Leather Bag. The structured bag featured short top handles, a glossy sheen, and signature gold-tone hardware. Its reflective finish created a sharp, sophisticated contrast against the casual denim and soft knit texture of her top.
On her feet, she kept things comfortably cool with a pair of Miu Miu Satin Ballerinas in black. The shoes featured a dainty bow on the toe and a branded elastic strap across the instep. Further, she kept her beauty styling simple for the night out. Her soft, natural blonde hair tumbled over her shoulders. Meanwhile, her makeup featured glowing skin and a berry lip.
Earlier that day, Seyfried paired the same shoes and bag with a Miu Miu poplin mini dress. The cornflower blue dress featured a romantic off-the-shoulder neckline. Short, puffy cap sleeves framed the elasticized neckline, adding a bit of sweet, retro flair. She completed her look with Tiffany & Co. earrings and Miu Miu Ciel sunglasses with pink lenses.

Kim Kardashian returned to one of her go-to formal shoe silhouettes for This Is About Humanity's 8th Annual Soiree in Hollywood on Aug. 29, wearing what appear to be vintage Manolo Blahnik Prisca lace-up sandals. Kim Kardashian Getty Images for This Is About H Her skirt concealed much of the taupe heels, leaving their angular open toes and slim front straps on display. The leather straps are designed to crisscross up the legs, much like a gladiator sandal, stopping just below the knees, while 3- to 4-inch stiletto heels complete the silhouette. A closer look at Kim Kardashian's shoes. Getty Kardashian has worn the silhouette for previous formal occasions, in shades of yellow and metallic black. The open-toe shape is a familiar one for summer shoes, save for the leg-length laces, which provide the drama. Manolo Blahnik's lace-up style is also available in metallic gold and silver, along with other color-blocked iterations. Kardashian paired her vintage footwear with a cream-colored Maison Margiela mirrored knit, worn off the shoulders and partly undone to reveal her vintage black bullet bra beneath. The "All's Fair" star also wore a Faycal Amor satin lace maxiskirt featuring metallic gold fabric layered over a sheer taupe lining that matched her

Claudia Sulewski didn't settle for one spectacular wedding dress when she married Finneas O'Connell. She had an entire bridal wardrobe.
The 30-year-old actress, content creator and Cyklar beauty founder married Billie Eilish's older brother Finneas, 29, in a romantic outdoor ceremony in Montecito, California, on Saturday, August 29, following eight years together.
Claudia began her wedding weekend in an understated satin gown (@ Instagram)
And while the couple's nuptials attracted an impressively star-studded guest list, including Hailey and Justin Bieber, Nina Dobrev, Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard and Emma Chamberlain, Claudia's four custom Oscar de la Renta creations provided plenty of fashion drama of their own.
The bride worked with the legendary American fashion house on a different outfit for each stage of her celebrations: the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, first dance and reception, and after-party.

Miranda Kerr has addressed the backlash she faced over her disciplined diet and wellness routine. The supermodel took to Instagram on August 21 to open up about her daily lifestyle that had been labelled as "unhinged habits".
"Some of my 'unhinged' habits are actually just the routines that make me feel my best. For me, that looks like avoiding foods that cause inflammation in my body, prioritizing sleep, and being really intentional about the little choices I make every day. I start each morning with noni juice (even though I'll be the first to admit it doesn't taste very good), I cut out alcohol and I'm usually in bed before 9pm," she penned in the caption. "Wellness looks different for everyone, so be sure to listen to your body and stay consistent with what makes you feel good."
Miranda shared a post that broke down the non-negotiable wellness practices she follows to ensure she feels her best. "Eating a gluten-free, egg-free and dairy-free diet to reduce inflammation," read the first slide in the carousel. Other practices included being in bed by 9pm and up at 5am, starting everyday with a shot of noni juice, never falling asleep in makeup, eating dinner with her kids at 5pm, avoiding alcohol, and using certified organic skincare from her brand KORA Organics.

The criticism came after Miranda appeared on Kristin Cavallari's Let's be Honest podcast, where she explained that she changed her diet when she was diagnosed with proctitis, a form of irritable bowel syndrome, during her pregnancy with her second son six years ago.

Brad Paisley is sharing his amusement at the mystery surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's tightly guarded wedding plans.
"I took this personally when I got the invite, because in the invite, it said, 'If you're getting this, you mean a lot to us,'" the country singer told the ***** ociated Press in an interview released July 17. He attended the July 3 wedding at New York City's Madison Square Garden with his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley – alongside hundreds of high-profile guests.
The elaborate security and logistics behind the celebration left invited guests guessing.
"And it was really fun to watch the cat-and-mouse game of like, 'We can tell you roughly where it's gonna be. We're not gonna say what building. … And here's the date, and if you're in, we'll tell you more,'" Paisley explained. "I went to my wife, I said, 'Want to go?' She's like, 'Absolutely. We've gotta be there.' So we did it. It was RSVP yes."
Swift's strategy appears to have worked. More than two weeks later, there have been no photo leaks, and most guests have remained tight-lipped after signing non-disclosure agreements. American Century Investments CEO Jonathan Thomas said on the July 17 episode of "The Compound and Friends" podcast that he "won't get into the details of the NDA, but it had teeth."

Kiss her three times, 'cause she's waited her whole life.
Adam Sandler officiated the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, and according to Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, the "Happy Gilmore" star gave the couple some "pretty good" marriage advice during the ceremony.
"He told them to keep kissing," Reid recounted to Deseret News. "So, in its simplest form, that's a good thing. It's hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss, or your wife gives you a kiss. And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out, and you won't have problems."
Reid added that Sandler was "hysterical," and "he did a great job in getting them married with a lot of humor."
While the choice of Sandler to officiate Swift and Kelce's wedding took some fans by surprise, the Kansas City Chiefs star worked with Sandler when he had a role in the comedian's 2025 movie "Happy Gilmore 2." Swift is also good friends with Sandler's daughters Sunny and Sadie, whom he shares with his wife Jackie Sandler.

Nina Dobrev stepped out in New York City looking effortlessly polished. The actress was making her way to an appearance on 'Live with Kelly and Mark'. She embraced a fresh summer palette, wearing a pale blue striped High Sport mini dress that blended timeless tailoring with modern simplicity. Styled with matching heels and understated accessories, the look proved that subtle details can make just as much of a statement as bold prints.
Styled by Bailey Moon, Dobrev wore High Sport's 'Isla Dress in Pale Blue Seersucker', which retails for $1,180. Crafted from an Italian cotton-French Lycra blend, the sleeveless dress featured a classic crew neckline and a fitted silhouette. It skimmed the body before ending several inches above the knee. The soft jacquard gave the fabric a lightly textured finish. Meanwhile, the delicate pale blue stripes added a crisp, summery touch. Its short hemline transformed the minimal design into an effortlessly chic and fun micro minidress.
She completed the monochromatic outfit with a pair of Manolo Blahnik 'Jadaron Mules' in a matching powder blue shade. The open-toe heels complemented the dress perfectly, elongating her legs while maintaining a clean, streamlined aesthetic.
Keeping accessories minimal, Dobrev opted for sleek black oval sunglasses. She wore her long brunette hair parted down the middle and styled straight over one shoulder. Her makeup remained soft and natural, with glowing skin, subtly defined eyes, and a pink, glossy lip that kept the pastel outfit the focal point.
The actress appeared relaxed as she smiled while walking through the city, proving that elevated daytime dressing doesn't have to be complicated. With its flattering silhouette, textured fabric, and timeless stripe pattern, the High Sport dress struck the perfect balance between sophistication and ease. Dobrev's latest street-style moment offered a masterclass in summer dressing.

For Melissa Gilbert, the death of her former costar Daveigh Chase is a cautionary tale.
The Emmy-nominated actress, who worked with a young Chase on a TV pilot, paid tribute to the late "Lilo & Stitch" star in an emotional Instagram post Monday, June 29.
"This is the [Daveigh Chase] I knew. I shot a pilot for a series with her 20+ years ago," Gilbert wrote alongside a throwback photo of Chase. "I only worked with Daveigh a couple of days, but I could see she was bright both in countenance and in mind. She was bubbly, sweet and professional. But there was something else there, a push or need to perform …for her parents."
Gilbert's remarks come two weeks after reports emerged that Chase died on June 16 at the age of 35 following a hospitalization in Los Angeles for malnutrition. Chase's cause of death was later revealed to be AIDS.
The former child star's father, John Schwallier, told The New York Times his daughter struggled with drug addiction since she was 13 and that she had been homeless and "destitute" near the LA hospital where she died.

When Taylor Swift dared to show her face at Madison Square Garden in New York City for Game 4 of the NBA Finals, the backlash could not have been more predictable.
During a broadcast with "The Dan Le Batard Show," "The Simpsons" voice actor Hank Azaria expressed frustration over the singer existing in his presence, saying: "I know she's the hugest thing in the world, but we had to sit with her all through the NFL and now she's at the Garden. Come on."
Swift and her friends occupied four courtside seats, which Azaria called "ridiculous."
I mean, yikes! Azaria had to literally sit in the same arena as Swift during a history-making basketball game? I can't think of anything more offensive than having to share ******* e with a woman daring to enjoy herself in public.

Recently, a photo went viral, showing Summer House exes Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula laughing together in New York City. These images quickly prompted their fans to weigh in, but as Kyle just clocked, many of their speculations were wrong. So, Kyle entered the chat, sighing, explaining the backstory behind these seemingly happy-go-lucky images.
The last time viewers saw Amanda and Kyle together was during the Summer House Season 10 reunion, where neither party smiled much. Shortly after, they reunited for their next reunion taping for In the City. Thankfully, they exited that studio in a much happier place. But no, as Kyle just explained, that does not mean he and Amanda are back together.
Over the weekend, Kyle posted his explainer on his Instagram Stories, which queensofbravo then reshared. "Alright, some of you have your tinfoil hats on," he began. "So I'm going to respond to the picture of [Amanda and me] laughing and smiling as we walk out of the In the City reunion." Regarding this sitdown, "It was a pretty chaotic, action-packed reunion for a Season 1 show."
He continued, "Amanda was in the hot seat, and she opened up a lot more than I would say she did in Summer House." Also, "I was in the hot seat, a lot of people were in the hot seat, and we all decided to get a drink together. Like, group therapy after you, kind of, leave it all out there."
"Amanda and I were headed down the elevator, walking out the door, and just kind of laughing, like, 'Can you imagine if there's a photographer that captures us walking out together?' And then, boom, that's exactly what happened," Kyle explained. "That causes us to laugh even harder. And yes, that's all that there was to it, guys."

And then, boom, that's exactly what happened," Kyle explained. "That causes us to laugh even harder. And yes, that's all that there was to it, guys."

Prince William is reportedly facing pushback from the royal family. The news comes after it has been alleged that the Prince of Wales is "refusing to take orders" from his father, King Charles, other than from other royal members, including Queen Camilla.
Prince William is making headlines again, but this time for a different reason. Things have apparently heated up between the future monarch and Queen Camilla after she "effectively" blocked Harriet Sperling from wearing a tiara from the famed royal collection at her wedding to Peter Phillips. This reportedly made William "furious with Camilla." Moreover, sources said that the Queen is "furious" over William's desire to overrule this due to his "brotherly bond" with his cousin.
This is not the only occasion where the two royals were at loggerheads. Previously, during King Charles' visit to the U.S., the two had disagreements. Hence, Camilla is now encouraging her husband to have a serious talk with William. She believes his eldest son is already "acting" like the monarch. Additionally, he has been "far too eager to start calling the shots before his time."
An insider told Closer, "She's saying William needs to be taken down a peg and should not be challenging her authority the way he did." They further added that the Prince of Wales is "refusing to take orders from the King these days too."
The source added that the queen has "accused William of acting as though he already has the final say and that Charles' reign is merely a formality that needs to be endured before he takes over." However, William feels that, for being "next in line," he has "the responsibility to lead and to correct mistakes where he sees them." The source noted, "If Charles does give him a dressing down over this he won't be met with a shred of remorse."
