The Meals and Beverage segment is leaning into 'semi-scratch' cooking trends, which represent 50% of at-home cooking occasions, by focusing on convenience with 5-ingredient-or-less recipes.
Performance attribution highlights a divergence in the soup portfolio, where cooking-related products (broth and condensed) are performing well while 'eating' soups require further innovation to meet consumer value needs.
The company is implementing a new $500 million enterprise cost-savings program through fiscal 2030, focusing on procurement efficiencies and supply chain network optimization.

Andvari ****** ociates, an investment management firm, released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter. The letter can be downloaded here. Andvari's portfolio has performed strongly in the quarter, highlighted by Constellation Software's 19.9% revenue growth and its plans to spend on acquisitions in 2026. The company is also focusing on AI tools to enhance productivity and customer relationships. However, the AI sector is experiencing extreme hype, leading to a growing disconnect between valuations and future cash flows. Predictions suggest the AI investment phase may decline in 1-3 years, despite current high demand for AI infrastructure, which is expected to attract significant competition. Concerns about overbuilding and risky financial behaviors, like Oracle's downgraded credit rating amid a $90-$95 billion AI cloud investment, reflect potential pitfalls. Andvari has minimized exposure to this sector, aiming to protect and grow ****** ets through disciplined investments in stable industries despite recent underperformance during the AI boom. Also, check the fund's top five holdings to see its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Andvari ****** ociates highlighted Texas Instruments Incorporated (NASDAQ:TXN), a semiconductor manufacturer providing chips and solutions for electronics designers and manufacturers. Texas Instruments Incorporated (NASDAQ:TXN) has a market capitalization of $232.7 billion.
Andvari ****** ociates stated the following regarding Texas Instruments Incorporated (NASDAQ:TXN) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"I also added Texas Instruments Incorporated (NASDAQ:TXN), which makes ****** og and power management chips. Texas Instruments and Martin Marietta might be getting a nice temporary ****** p in profits and revenues from helping build out AI infrastructure, but AI and data center-related revenues are by no means the majority of revenues for either of these two companies."

On Day 9 of this countdown, Collin O'Meara took you back in time to fill out the 2026 roster with one player from Huskies history. I have procured use of Mr. O'Meara's Delorean, but I'm not looking to the past, I'm headed back… to the future!
If you want to be surprised by each UW game this year, I don't blame you, but you should stop reading now. The time machine allowed me to see the actual results of each game, down to the final score. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring back a sports almanac from the future for betting purposes, so I can only give you a high-level summary of each result.
UW 38 – WSU 17. The Kirby Moore era gets off to a barely passable start for WSU as Caden Pinnick makes a few big plays against a new look Husky secondary. The Dawgs also pick him off two times and are able to turn things over to the second-string offense for the fourth quarter. UW totals over 200 rushing yards, with Williams, Carr, and Limar each going over 50 yards.
UW 48 – Utah St 14. Week 1 gave the Huskies a solid, definitive victory, but it wasn't such a beatdown that the Dawgs truly made a statement. In Week 2, they resolved to do exactly that. After focusing on the run game against the Cougs, Williams and Fisch decide to air it out to the tune of four passing TDs, including a pair of TD receptions for Decker DeGraaf.
UW 55 – EWU 10. Not content with the style points accumulated against Utah St., the Dawgs set out to establish themselves as a heavyweight against their cross-state FCS opponent. This year's Eagles are not one of the best squads they have put together, and the Dawgs made that clear with 38 points in the first half. Roebuck got things started with a long TD catch on the first offensive possession and UW never looked back.

India are set to renew their rivalry with Pakistan in their final league-stage match of the Women's Asia Cup on Saturday, with senior all-rounder Deepti Sharma confident that the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side can maintain its recent dominance over its neighbours.
India have already secured their place in the semifinals after registering convincing victories over Thailand and Hong Kong. They currently sit at the top of Group A and will enter the Pakistan clash as clear favourites.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Friday, Deepti pointed to India's strong record against Pakistan and said the team would aim to maintain that edge.
"Look, there is no advantage as such. The only thing is that whatever we have won against them (Pakistan), whether it is the Asia Cup or any other matches, we are always one step ahead of them. And that's it," Deepti said.
Deepti stressed that India would not get distracted by Pakistan's strengths and instead concentrate on maintaining their own balanced approach.
"The whole team is performing well. If you look at the bowling unit or the batting unit, I think both things are balanced. The one who has a good day, she tries to do better and take the game further. And those around her, they try to stay positive things so that they step in more in their game," she said.
Asked about Pakistan's bowling attack, Deepti acknowledged the threat but insisted India would stick to their plans.
"Our team is also good and their bowlers are also good. We know that. But we focus more on the strengths we have. And as I said, we want to play a good brand of cricket. That's what we are focusing on. We just want to play good cricket. As a bowling unit, as a batting unit, the team should be as compact as we are playing in two games. That's the mindset," she added.
India have dominated the rivalry in women's T20Is, winning 14 of their 17 meetings with Pakistan, while Pakistan have three victories. The recent record is even more emphatic. India defeated Pakistan by 64 runs in the 2026 Women's T20 World Cup, while also winning their previous two meetings in the 2024 T20 World Cup and Asia Cup.
Pakistan's most recent victory over India came in the 2022 Women's Asia Cup, when they secured a 13-run win.

Manchester United's pursuit of a new left-back ultimately ended in disappointment this summer. The Red Devils spent much of the transfer window focusing on midfield reinforcements, signing Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, and Carlos Baleba.
The left-back position was also a priority for the English giants this summer, especially with Luke Shaw already on the wrong side of 30. The veteran full-back's contract expires at the end of this season, further complicating matters for INEOS.
While the Englishman started every Premier League game last season, it was imperative to lay down succession plans for the future. Several emerging and established candidates were monitored for the role, including Newcastle United's Lewis Hall, Barcelona's Alejandro Balde, and RB Leipzig's David Raum.
Unfortunately, United failed to land any of their left-back targets and ended the summer without adding cover for Shaw to their squad. Acclaimed journalist Fabrizio Romano has now named a surprise candidate who was also eyed as an option for the job.

Small-cap earnings growth also began accelerating relative to large caps, while the small-cap technology sector surged nearly 100% in 26H1. The fund's technology holdings gained 72.39%, contributing 14.87 percentage points, compared with a 95.27% return and 7.10-point contribution from the benchmark's technology sector. Excluding IT and cash, the Fund contributed 12.73% versus 15.89% for the Russell 2000 Value Index; on a fully invested basis, the figures were 16.62% and 17.59%, respectively. The portfolio continued to trim appreciated technology holdings amid the AI-driven rally, while maintaining a bottom-up approach and avoiding beaten-down SaaS stocks due to the widening range of AI-related outcomes. The fund also eliminated about $62 million in capital gains during Q2 and approximately $140 million year-to-date through July, while ending the quarter with 10.2% in cash. In addition, please check the Fund's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.

Sprouts Farmers Market (NASDAQ:SFM) is a supermarket chain focusing on fresh, natural, and organic products. The company has strong operating margins, attractive returns on capital, and excellent new store economics. Through April 2025, SFM's stock performed extremely well in concert with strong revenue growth and rising earnings estimates. As SFM's valuation increased, we trimmed our position in late 2024 and early 2025. Then, when growth slowed in the second half of 2025, SFM's share price collapsed. Today, SFM trades at a low-teens multiple of forward earnings and we are comfortable holding a mid-sized position.

Riverwater Partners, an investment management company, released its 'Small Cap Strategy' Q2 2026 investor letter. The letter can be downloaded here. The Small Cap Strategy underperformed the Russell 2000 in the second quarter as the benchmark experienced one of its strongest risk-on rallies in recent memory, although the strategy remained ahead year-to-date. The quarter was defined by accelerating AI investment, energy market disruptions, and renewed investor appetite for higher-beta stocks, creating headwinds for the firm's quality-focused approach and healthcare positioning. Despite this, stock selection contributed positively in energy, materials, and financials, while healthcare and consumer discretionary detracted due to the fund's disciplined avoidance of speculative businesses. Looking ahead, the firm remains cautiously optimistic, focusing on opportunities created by market dislocations, including AI infrastructure enablers, select consumer companies, healthcare innovators, and energy businesses trading below intrinsic value. The strategy continues to emphasize high-quality companies with strong management teams and attractive valuations, positioning the portfolio for a potential rotation away from speculative market leadership. In addition, please check the Strategy's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Riverwater Partners Small Cap Strategy highlighted StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SNEX) as a notable contributor. StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SNEX) operates as a US-based global financial services network that connects companies, organizations, traders, and investors to a market ecosystem. On August 31, 2026, StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SNEX) closed at $68.48 per share. StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SNEX) fell 8.97% over the past month while its shares gained 50.63% over the past 52 weeks. StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SNEX) has a market capitalization of $8.26 billion with a 52-week trading range between $36.45 - $94.66.
Riverwater Partners Small Cap Strategy stated the following regarding StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SNEX) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SNEX), our financial services and clearing holding, was the portfolio's largest contributor as shares gained approximately 47% during the quarter. Elevated market volatility stemming from the Middle East conflict drove exceptional trading and clearing activity, and the stock ground steadily higher after quarterly earnings results. With shares having roughly doubled from their lows and valuation approaching the high end of historical ranges, we trimmed the position into strength while keeping it among our largest holdings.

"Atmus Filtration Technologies Inc. (NYSE:ATMU), the engine filtration business spun out of ******* mins (CMI), fell approximately 10% as readthroughs from the freight market turned mixed, with softer commentary on new truck builds and some margin pressure weighing on sentiment. We continue to like the durable, replacement-driven aftermarket core of the business, but we respected the change in tone and trimmed the position back to a standard weight during the quarter."

In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Riverwater Partners Small Cap Strategy highlighted Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (NASDAQ:KALU) as a portfolio addition. Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (NASDAQ:KALU) has a market capitalization of $2.59 billion.
Riverwater Partners Small Cap Strategy stated the following regarding Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (NASDAQ:KALU) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"We also purchased Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (NASDAQ:KALU) as roughly two and a half million tons of global aluminum capacity remains offline following the Middle East smelter disruptions, a supply shock we believe supports elevated pricing for well-positioned domestic producers through at least 2027. Also, continued tariffs on aluminum and alumina products will help pricing stay elevated, even if Middle East capacity comes on faster than expected."

LONDON, Sep 2 (Reuters) - The United States launched a new wave of attacks on Iran late on Tuesday six months into a deadlocked conflict, prompting Iranian missile fire at what it called U.S. ****** ets in Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq.
Here are other ways Iran might retaliate if the conflict continues to escalate or a U.S. campaign to choke off Iran's economy intensifies.
IRAN COULD EXPAND ATTACKS ON GULF STATES
Iran has repeatedly struck at its neighbours in response to U.S. attacks and threatened to retaliate against any who take part in U.S. efforts to strangle the country's economy with "earthquake" force.
It has targeted Gulf states and Jordan repeatedly since the war began on February 28, mostly focusing on U.S. bases but also hitting energy infrastructure and other targets.

Andvari ***** ociates, an investment management firm, released its first-quarter 2025 investor letter. Andvari has minimized exposure to this sector, aiming to protect and grow ***** ets through disciplined investments in stable industries despite recent underperformance during the AI boom. Also, check the fund's top five holdings to see its best picks in 2026.

Andvari ***** ociates stated the following regarding Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:TYL) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:TYL), a software company focused solely on state and local government customers, recently raised its 2030 financial goals because the cloud transition for its customers has moved from aspiration to solid proof. Since its 2023 investor day, Tyler has met or exceeded its 2025 interim targets, shifted more than 95% of new-client total contract value to SaaS ("software as a service"), completed the migration of its roughly 5,000 hosted customers onto AWS, and exited its last private data center on schedule. All this gives management more confidence in both future growth and margins. Tyler's remaining on-premise maintenance base still represents a large conversion pool, and each maintenance-to-SaaS "Lip" is expected to lift recurring revenue by roughly 1.7x before any cross-sell, payments attach, or module expansion. Just as important, Tyler's next phase—"Cloud Living"—should reduce version complexity, lower support burden, speed upgrades, and create a more scalable operating model…" (Click here to read the full text)

Cardano (ADA) continues to underperform its peers this year, as on-chain metrics continue to indicate that this former crypto darling meets all the criteria of a "zombie chain."
The native token of this blockchain has booked a 40% loss in 2026, dramatically lagging its former peers like Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL), both of which have managed to trim their yearly losses 17% as a result of the latest rally.
Market sentiment has improved in the past couple of weeks, as indicated by the Crypto Fear and Greed Index. This key gauge has jumped from a recent Neutral reading of 36 to 75 at the time of writing, indicating that investors are now in "Greed" mode.
Despite this shift in sentiment, ADA is not among the token that has managed to break above its 200-day exponential moving average (EMA), primarily as investors seem to be focusing on more mature projects that have demonstrated their real-world use cases.
This explains the huge performance gap between ADA and its peers. We can list a couple of red flags that may justify why market participants are shunning this token.

Market sentiment has improved in the past couple of weeks, as indicated by the Crypto Fear and Greed Index. This key gauge has jumped from a recent Neutral reading of 36 to 75 at the time of writing, indicating that investors are now in "Greed" mode.
