TheThe Atlanta Falcons had no first-round pick in this year's draft thanks to the trade-up for edge rusher James Pearce. Their first selection didn't come until the middle of Round 2, which they used on Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell, the younger brother of their top cornerback, A.J. Terrell.
During his time at Clemson, Terrell mostly played the boundary, but he did put in 110 snaps in the slot last season. As he begins his first year in the NFL, it hasn't been clear what role he will play for the Falcons as of yet.
New head coach Kevin Stefanski offered some clarity on that question today, telling reporters that Terrell will see snaps both outside and at nickel.
This is probably the right way to go about it. Finding where Terrell fits best with Jeff Ulbrich's defense should be a matter of trial and error rather than trying to force a square peg into a round hole, or a 5-foot-11 defensive back into the boundary position.

ZenaTech, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZENA), an AI drone company, announced Thursday that it completed its 26th Drone as a Service acquisition, buying Dayton, Ohio-based BA Land Professionals LLC.
The transaction gives ZenaTech its first Ohio location and expands its U.S. network to 12 states. BA Land Professionals is licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina.
The surveying firm serves construction, energy, industrial and government customers. Its services include land surveying, construction layout, and topographic and boundary surveys.
It also provides ALTA/NSPS surveys, drone and LiDAR mapping, and GPS control services.

We’re concluding our positional preview with the secondary, cornerbacks and safeties. The **** ans have 17 defensive backs on the offseason roster. Bitcoin (BTC) may be approaching a long-term bottom as its weekly chart combines two bullish reversal signals: a falling wedge and a positive divergence between price and the relative strength index (RSI).
BTC was trading near $65,970 on July 22 after rebounding from the wedge's lower boundary. The setup suggests Bitcoin's correction may be losing momentum, although confirmation is still missing.

CAIRO (AP) — The Israeli military is quietly but quickly building a giant earthen barrier separating the over 50% of the Gaza Strip it controls from the rest of the territory, according to satellite imagery, further entrenching the division of the tiny Palestinian enclave.
More than 23 kilometers (14 miles) have been constructed in recent months, running through Palestinian communities demolished by the military. That is equivalent to more than half the length of the coastal strip, which is some 40 kilometers (25 miles) long and 11 kilometers (7 miles) wide, and home to over 2 million Palestinians.
When presented with the satellite images, Israel's military confirmed to The ******* ociated Press it has built a physical barrier in the area of the so-called yellow line, the boundary to which Israeli troops withdrew under the October ceasefire deal with Hamas. The line was envisioned in the U.S.-backed agreement as a temporary division of the territory pending a fuller Israeli withdrawal.
But as the truce stagnates, it appears Israel is digging in, heightening Palestinian fears that the line is morphing into a border. Wyoming-based digital-asset bank Custodia has petitioned the Supreme Court to review a March ruling by the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals that upholds a barrier preventing the lender from accessing a Federal Reserve master account.
The case hinges on an "exceptionally important question," Custodia wrote in the petition Friday, seen by Banking Dive: "whether regional Federal Reserve Bank presidents possess unbounded, unreviewable discretion to deny disfavored banks access" to such payment services.
Custodia's petition cites the Supreme Court's June opinion in Trump v. Cook, which acknowledges a boundary to executive power.
"Given the Federal Reserve's unique independence from presidential control, it is particularly important for the court to ensure that the power the Fed claims to possess has in fact been authorized by Congress," Custodia wrote.

The UK's first beach wrestling competition will be used to select potential Olympic athletes, officials have said.
Competitors will take part in the tournament at Cleethorpes on 25 July from 11:00 to 13:00 BST.
The matches will take place in a sand circle and are decided by throws, takedowns and boundary control.
Lawrence Dutton, from British Wrestling, said: "It's not WWE, it's just an adaptation of our freestyle rules and it's getting very popular around the world."
Forget Hulk Hogan and the Undertaker, the competitors in beach wrestling follow freestyle rules which are widely used in the Olympics as well as tournaments in the US.

Colchester United have signed defender Jake Leake after he left League Two rivals Oldham Athletic.
The 23-year-old made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Latics having initially signed on loan in January 2025 before making his move permanent in June the same year.
The full-back scored two goals for Oldham and although they announced in May he was in discussions to extend his contract at Boundary Park he has elected to join Colchester.
Leake began his career at Hull City where he failed to break into the first-team before spells with Boston United, Scunthorpe United and Tranmere Rovers.

Former India captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth criticised Tilak Varma following India's shocking one-run defeat to Ireland in the second T20I in Belfast on June 28.
Chasing 155 to level the two-match series, India were reduced to 19/3 in the third over when Tilak Varma walked in to bat. The 23-year-old tried to steady the innings but managed only a slow-paced 55 off 46 ******* . The rest of the batting line-up also struggled as India fell one run short, suffering a 0-2 series defeat.
Criticising Tilak and the other batters on his YouTube channel, Srikkanth said, "Tilak Varma tried to take it till the end and become the hero. He thought of winning it in the end and celebrate by lifting his jersey. These targets have to be chased down with an over to spare and not go till the end.
"You can't play the way India did in the middle phase, especially Tilak Varma, Dube and Axar. All their strike rates were poor. You have to stabilize a bit and then start attacking in the middle phase. Otherwise, you'll be finished if you fail in the middle phase. India lost the game in the middle phase. Tilak Varma was just playing for himself by sneaking in ones and twos. Axar Patel was the same."
Tilak had also struggled in the first T20I, scoring 21 off 19 ******* as India lost by 34 runs.
Srikkanth also criticised India's approach during the middle overs of the second T20I. The visitors went seven overs without hitting a single boundary, with Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube and Axar Patel unable to score freely.

Jayden Aparicio-Bailey from Prattville, AL about 90 mins from Tuscaloosa and Auburn (but originally from California) narrowed his finalists to Georgia and Clemson before ultimately picking the Tigers. He joins S Jarrell Chandler, S Harrison Luke, CB Bryant Robinson, and CB PJ Chancellor as the fifth defensive back in the class. He is the highest-rated defensive back in the class. This win pushes Clemson’s class back into the top 10 for 2027.

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback DJ Turner showed up to offseason work and made a point to avoid any contract drama with the team.
Team and fans alike loved the gesture, no doubt, from a borderline elite boundary cornerback who still appears on the ascent as a player.
Now, Turner’s starting to catch fire nationally.
NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, for example, listed Turner as one of the three players who could jump to superstardom next season.

Do the Seahawks need better offensive tackle depth behind starters Charles Cross and Abe Lucas? Swing backup Josh Jones is currently getting past an offseason injury he provided an update on. But based on Joe Burrow’s recent comments, it might be best not to count out Andrei Iosivas just yet.
"Andrei looks great this year. Andrei looks unbelievable. He looks big, strong, fast," Burrow said, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. "He made a couple of really nice contested catches in the spring this year in our limited reps. That's a big area of emphasis for him. That was exciting to see. Henry Nicholls made an instant impact on his return to New Zealand colours, stepping in for the retired Kane Williamson and delivering a composed unbeaten century to push his side into a dominant position against England on day three of the Test at The Oval.
By stumps on Friday, New Zealand had reached 252 for 3 in their second innings, effectively stretching their overall lead to 352 after bowling England out for 291 just before lunch. Nicholls remained unbeaten on 119, anchoring the innings alongside Rachin Ravindra, who made a fluent 76 before his dismissal after tea.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made one thing clear during the 2026 NFL Draft: they wanted to add a different dimension to their receiving corps. That's exactly what they got in third-round pick Ted Hurst.
As the mandatory minicamp is underway, a few players on the roster are more intriguing than the former standout receiver. With Mike Evans now in San Francisco and Emeka Egbuka expected to slide into a larger role, Hurst has a legitimate opportunity to carve out playing time much sooner than many rookie receivers typically do.
At 6'4" and possessing legitimate downfield speed, Hurst gives the Buccaneers something they simply don't have elsewhere in their receiver room. While Chris Godwin Jr, Egbuka, and Jalen McMillan excel with route running, separation, and versatility, Hurst brings the size and catch radius needed to win on the boundary and make contested catches downfield.
In many ways, his skill set fills some of the void left behind by Evans' departure. The Buccaneers have already hinted at how they plan to use him. Offensive coordinator Zac Robinson has mentioned Hurst working primarily as the true "X" receiver, allowing Egbuka to spend more time at the "Z" position, where his route running and versatility can be maximized. The Miami Dolphins have five weeks off until training camp begins. Following minicamp sessions and OTAs, rookie head coach Jeff Hafley was able to evaluate his new team, but the real **** sment will come in July when the pads and helmets come on, and actual football is played.
In Part II of this Dolphins Wire series of what to watch for this summer in South Florida, the focus here is on the secondary, an area in which Hafley is very familiar as a former defensive backs position coach.
The Dolphins drafted cornerback Chris Johnson in the first round of the 2026 draft and traded up to select him. As Hafley has indicated several times over the last few months, Johnson could be used both on the boundary as well as in the slot when in the nickel formation. This will certainly be something to watch for in camp, especially in joint practices with the Washington Commanders and New York Giants.
Hafley told reporters back in May, “Chris is going to play inside and outside. We got to be careful overloading any young player, but we also have to get a feel for the players and see how much that they can handle.”
Clearly fond of the San Diego State lockdown corner, Hafley discussed the rookie's performance over the last few weeks, saying, “I think he's done a really nice job. He is very instinctual. He sees the game very fast. He works really hard in the meeting rooms. He's super athletic, has really good coverage ability. He’s been able to get his hand on the football and we've asked him to do a lot and he's handled it very, very well, which is what I kind of told you maybe a week or two ago.”
