Sexyy Red could be facing a $5 million judgment in a lawsuit brought by the grandmother of one of her children, but the money has not been awarded.
Nicole Barnes is asking a judge to enter a default judgment after claiming the rapper failed to respond to the case, according to new court documents obtained by TMZ. Barnes sued ****** yy Red in March 2025 over allegations that the rapper posted her home address online and encouraged followers to attack her.
Barnes says ordinary efforts to serve the lawsuit were unsuccessful and that she later served ****** yy Red through publication in a newspaper. She now argues that the lack of a response entitles her to a default judgment for $5 million.
Sexyy Red is disputing the underlying case. Her attorney Jason Lampert told TMZ that the claims are "baseless and completely without merit" and said the rapper categorically denies the allegations and intends to defend herself. The judge has not yet ruled on Barnes' request.
Barnes filed the lawsuit on March 24, 2025, after an alleged social-media incident the previous December. Michael Wright, the actor best known for his powerful performance as Eddie King Jr. in the cult classic 1991 musical drama The Five Heartbeats, has died at age 70.
In a statement sent to TMZ, Wright's family said he died in Los Angeles Wednesday after suffering heart failure coupled with complications of a rare degenerative neurological disease called Marchiafava-Bignami.

Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, Mariska Hargitay and even Swift herself did not pass through such opaque surroundings to see the 2026 Finals-playing New York Knicks. Then again, Jalen Brunson never headlined The Eras Tour.

The privacy tarp went up in a matter of seconds and a few commuters who had been walking down the sidewalk hoping to reach the Eighth Avenue of Penn Station saw it thrust in front of them and, flummoxed like Frodo and Samwise at The Path of the Withywindle, disorientedly found themselves turning back.
Along the street, a few Swifties waited and a few local TV crews scrambled to find them, to hear stories of how they grew up listening to Taylor and followed her personal life in parallel to their own and were so happy she found love.

In a YouTube video posted on Thursday, Burtwistle, 24, recounted the incident: "The man sat in front was making incredibly racist comments towards the Ghanaian national team. Due to this, it was only right for me to stand up and deal with this. Watch how the stewards deal with this it is actually embarrassing."
He explained that a steward initially told him they "can't kick him out", and although the man appeared to leave, Burtwistle later confirmed he had not been removed from the game.

The world of celebrity real estate is a heady place, one that is filled with glittering megamansions, luxury developments, and buzz-worthy listings. But there is also a much darker side to this gleaming industry, one plagued by scandal, backlash, and a very hefty dose of uproar.
In recent years, there has been no shortage of headlines about these dramas, the most recent of which centers around first daughter Ivanka Trump's plans to build a $1.4 billion resort on an island in Albania, a project that has sparked furious protests among locals.
Together with her husband, Jared Kushner, Ivanka is aiming to transform Sazan, a former Soviet weapon's base, into a 10,000-room hotel, complete with every high-end amenity the richest and most privileged travelers could ever imagine.
But the plans have been met with outrage from the people of Albania, who have turned out in the thousands to protest the development in recent days.
However, the couple are far from the only high-profile figures to have found themselves at the center of a real estate scandal, instead joining the likes of pop star Katy Perry, rapper Kanye West, and developer Mohamed Hadid, all of whom have courted controversy with their own property moves in recent years.

A Barron Trump-backed beverage company has officially launched its first product.
According to its website, Sollos is a a beverage brand "built around the Florida lifestyle" that was started by a group of "close friends ages 19-23 who grew up living in South Florida." Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, is listed as a founding partner and director of the company.
The company has launched one flavor – Pineapple + Coconut – it calls "flawless" that is now available for purchase on its website and at select retailers throughout South Florida. A 12-pack costs $39 and the drink contains Brazilian yerba mate, organic pineapple and coconut flavors, and is sweetened with organic cane sugar, organic raw honey and organic monk fruit extract, according to the listing on the Sollos website.
The company says each can contains 120 mg of natural caffeine and 50 calories.
"SOLLOS is designed revolving around the cycle of the sun, making it a versatile drink you can enjoy throughout the day," the company's website reads. "From a crisp, refreshing start to your morning, to an afternoon pick me up, and even as a clean nighttime mixer, SOLLOS is built to move with your day."
