Clayton Echard denied Laura Owens's claim that she was pregnant with twins after a one-night stand. Owens, 35, pleaded guilty to one count of perjury, one count of taking the identity of another, and two counts of fraudulent schemes and artifices, according to the Arizona Republic on Aug. 28
A judge will determine if she'll be sentenced to prison or probation. On Oct. 23, she will be sentenced for the crimes tied to The Bachelor season 26 star.
Echard, 33, said Owens contacted him through LinkedIn about the home he was selling. The former football player said that they hooked up but didn't have intercourse.
The reality star said he told Owens that he crossed a professional boundary with her and it wouldn't happen again. Owens wanted to keep working with him, then asked him on dates. He told Melissa Rivers that he refused and blocked her after she kept pushing. She then claimed she was pregnant 11 days after he blocked her. Other men also contacted Echard to say Owens made similar accusations against them.
