The Yankees have activated three-time American League Most Valuable Player and star outfielder Aaron Judge from the 60-day disabled list. Judge has been out of action with a fractured rib since early June, and his return brings back one of MLB's foremost fan attractions.

CAIRO/DUBAI, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Yemen's Tehran-backed Houthis attacked four cities in the south of U.S. ally Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, wounding more than 70 people and setting oil installations ablaze in what appeared to be a major expansion of the six-month-old Middle East war.
The Houthis, who control most of Yemen's populated areas including the capital, said they had launched a broad operation deep into Saudi territory. They used drones and missiles to strike a Saudi airbase in the southern city of Khamis Mushair, and targets belonging to Saudi Arabia's state oil company in nearby Abha, Najran on the Yemeni border and Jazan, a major Red Sea port.
Saudi authorities described blazes at the sites and said women and children were among the 73 people hurt. The reports of such large numbers of wounded suggested the attacks were among the biggest carried out against Saudi Arabia since the United States and Israel launched their war against Iran in February.
Confirmed images of the aftermath of the attacks in the Saudi cities were not immediately available. The Houthis released pictures of an explosion of what they said were trucks from Saudi Arabia they had struck at the border in another area.

DUBAI, Sept 7 (Reuters) - The United Arab Emirates is building alternative routes for its energy exports and trade to ensure they are not "held hostage" by the ongoing war between the U.S. and Iran, UAE presidential adviser Anwar Gargash said on Monday.
The conflict has had a significant impact on Gulf Arab states, including the UAE, after Tehran fired missiles at the country and attacked its oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
"Our energy exports will not be held hostage, nor will our trade and economic activity," Gargash told the Hili Forum in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE has been expanding port capacity along its eastern coast, as well as developing pipelines, railways and trade routes for alternative corridors, he said.
While acknowledging that relations with Iran could eventually recover, Gargash warned that rebuilding trust after the attacks could take decades.

Mondelēz International has substituted rigid polyethylene terephthalate (PET) trays with FSC-certified paper trays across its main cookie lines in Europe within the biscuits segment, according to a press release posted on My News Desk.
The switch applies to more than 115 products sold under eight brands. These include Cadbury, Chips Ahoy!, Freia, Lacta and Marabou.
These items are distributed in more than 25 European countries, including France, Germany, Ireland, the Nordic region, Poland, Spain and the UK.
The project covers approximately 28,000 tonnes of cookies made each year.

Lewis Hamilton says it is "far too late" for Ferrari to give him priority over team-mate Charles Leclerc in the championship fight, following a disappointing weekend at their home Italian Grand Prix.
The seven-time world champion, who started fourth and finished sixth, was pushed on to the grass by Leclerc on the opening lap, slipping him down to 10th, as the pair battled wheel-to-wheel at the exit of the first chicane.
Leclerc then suffered a high-speed crash at the Parabolica shortly after to leave Hamilton as Ferrari's only hope of a top-three finish.

BLOOMINGTON — Eight athletes, including IU football players Kellan Wyatt and Stephen Daley, were granted a temporary restraining order in an Indiana circuit court Friday, restoring for the moment their eligibility to play college sports.
Filed and granted in Monroe County Circuit Court, the TRO ****** erts that the plaintiffs "have shown by verified pleading and supporting evidence that immediate and irreparable injury will occur before notice can be served and a hearing held."
"The Court further finds that the plaintiffs have demonstrated a probable right to relief," the order states, "and that the threatened injury outweighs any temporary burden imposed by this Order pending an expedited hearing."
Importantly, the order is not lasting. That hearing will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11, in Monroe Circuit Court, where the court will hear the plaintiffs' motion for a temporary injunction, a firmer legal decision.
