Troy Aikman was a three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback with the Dallas Cowboys, and his ties to the franchise have continued long since his retirement in April 2001.
Aikman has been a color commentator and has been paired with Joe Buck for the past 25 years, but there's reportedly friction between the two after Buck has signed a new six-year contract with ESPN to continue as play-by-play man of Monday Night Football, while Aikman hasn't received a formal offer in the last year of his contract. Per Tim Cowlishaw, Aikman said on Wednesday that there's just a "50-50" chance he will be a broadcaster next season.
If Aikman were to seek other opportunities, he may have one waiting for him with the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appears to love the prospect of bringing Aikman back to the organization.
Earlier this week, Jones was asked if he'd consider adding Aikman to the Cowboys' front office, to which Jones said he "could and would."
"He is a successful guy because he is one of the hardest working, most focused people that I've ever been around. The Green Bay Packers have won three straight games, but their running game is still waiting to catch up. Now, Matt LaFleur believes the return of Josh Jacobs could help change that.
Green Bay defeated the Dallas Cowboys 23-13 on Sunday night, improving to 4-2 despite gaining just 57 rushing yards on 26 attempts. Even against a Dallas defense that entered the game ranked last in the NFL against the run, the Packers struggled to move the ball on the ground.

The Cowboys were never really in the game against Green Bay and seemed to be fighting themselves as much as they were the Packers. It is hard to believe that they had the mini bye to prepare for this as they looked as without preparation as a Cowboys team has looked in some time.
Dallas is officially 2-4 after their latest outing and while they have the "benefit" of playing in a down NFC East… they in no way look like a team that you can trust right now. In fact, they looked like that last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and only corroborated that notion at Lambeau Field.
This is a really tough moment for a Cowboys franchise that has experienced several of them within the last 1,000 days (and well beyond that, but you know what I mean). What happens next? Anything? Should something?

Lisa Vanderpump's nephew, Sam Vanderpump, recently opened up about his ongoing health struggles. The 29-year-old Made in Chelsea star shared that he is still awaiting a liver transplant following his diagnosis of end-stage liver disease.
Sam announced his diagnosis publicly in October 2025. The announcement came months after he suffered severe liver and kidney failure following sepsis in December 2024. In an Instagram post, he shared that he "lives with a genetic liver condition and polycystic kidney disease (PKD)."
While appearing on the October 7 episode of Good Morning Britain, Sam said, "When I was first told that I needed a transplant, they said maybe [in] the next two years I'd have a transplant. I think we're already a year down the line, and luckily my health hasn't deteriorated. But that is the fear."
The reality star, who dyed his hair pink to raise awareness about organ donation, said he has received an overwhelming response from fans. However, he clarified that getting a transplant is not that simple. Sam explained that organ donation follows a "certain procedure" that he cannot arrange himself.
"So if someone were interested in being a live donor for me, they would have to contact the hospital, King's College Hospital, and go through that route themselves," he added. "So, it's kind of like you're caught between a rock and a hard place. You want to get further up the list, but you don't want your health to deteriorate."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could use a recent security scare near their children's school to support their case for taxpayer-funded protection in the UK, royal author Ingrid Seward claimed. The Sussexes returned to Britain in August and are still waiting for a decision on whether they will receive publicly funded security while they are in the country.
Seward suggested Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may point to the incident when making their case for greater security. Speaking to The Sun's Royal Exclusive, Seward said she believed the couple could use the situation to their advantage. "I do feel certain that they (the Sussexes) probably will use this to try and benefit themselves in some kind of way," she said.
Harry has repeatedly raised concerns about his family's security while in the UK. Seward suggested that his security team would likely have stayed near the school because Harry uses a high level of protection when travelling with his family.
Harry and Meghan are currently waiting to learn whether they will receive taxpayer-funded security while living in the UK. Their security arrangements have remained a major issue since Harry stepped back as a working member of the Royal Family and moved to the US. The Duke has previously challenged decisions surrounding his security protection in Britain.
GB News royal correspondent Cameron Walker also discussed the incident and the security concerns involving Archie and Lilibet. Walker said British publications would generally avoid publishing unauthorized photos of the children. However, he noted that some European outlets could take a different approach.

Birthday girl, Rani Rose, made the most of every stop, grinning happily at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. In one short clip, the 8-year-old stood in a dimly lit shop with a wand in her hand. In a recreation of the wand scene in the "Harry Potter" movies, Rani's hair glowed in the spotlight when she got her wand.
Another photo showed Rani with her friend in matching Gryffindor robes with maroon and gold lining and striped headbands. Both pointed their wands straight at the camera, grinning. Elsewhere, a Hogwarts street sign towered over a cobbled square, with Rani posing underneath.
The day was not all spells. Hudson's carousel also showed kids posing outside Super Nintendo World. A wide shot captured the Mario-themed plaza under a bright blue sky. A group selfie from a wooden ride car showed Hudson with her daughter beaming behind the camera.

Michael Douglas has recalled how he once had a "heartbreaking confessional" with Rob Reiner regarding their sons' troubles.
The This Is Spinal Tap director, 78, and his wife Michele Singer Reiner, 70, were found dead at their Brentwood, Los Angeles home last December.
The couple's son, Nick Reiner, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder over their deaths. He has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial in custody.
On Monday, The Los Angeles Times published an excerpt from Michael's new memoir, One ******* uva Ride, in which the Oscar-winning actor described a conversation he once had with Reiner.
"We both had sons with serious drug issues and we both, at times, had been at the end of our rope," he writes, according to the outlet. "It was a heartbreaking confessional for us, but I know we gave each other some measure of comfort during the hard times."
Previously, Rob had discussed Nick's substance abuse issues and rehab stays. The pair made the 2015 film, Being Charlie, about his experiences.

M*A*S*H star Alan Alda recently sat down with CBS Sunday Morning's Dr. Jon LaPook, revealing a nightmarish story from his childhood. When the actor was seven, he battled polio, and like tens of thousands of other Americans during the 1950s and 60s, the now-eliminated virus left Alda with serious symptoms at the time.
Alda explained, "I had polio before there was a vaccine. It was pretty hard to experience." He continued, contextualizing the experience, "My father had just gotten a huge part, his first big part, playing George Gershwin in the biopic of Gershwin. And about a week after he started shooting, I got polio." Of course, Alda was referring to Robert Alda, the vaudeville, Broadway, and alter, film star.
And here's where the story takes an even scarier turn. "He and my mother had to administer the treatment, which was almost scalding hot packs of wool on every limb. So they're practically torturing their kid. I remember thinking it was hard on them. There's a little bit of empathy. But I knew it was hard for them." Despite the harsh treatments, Alda was, as he described, "All stiff and I couldn't walk. I was affected in every limb but one arm."
If you're wondering what Carol Burnett has to do with the M*A*S*H star's scalding wool treatment, he shared, "She lived about two blocks away while I was in my house with polio. I would stand on the bed and look out the window and see kids playing, and I was waiting for the time I'd be out there playing with them."
