After all these rounds, three of the top four seeds in our tournament – West Warwick, La Salle and East Providence – have reached the Round of 4, along with No. 7 seed North Providence. So which two cheer squads will face off in next week's championship round? That's up to you.

If you don't remember, BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier was a Notre Dame recruiting target as a high schooler, even earning an offer and taking visits to South Bend.
The Irish influence was in his blood with his grandfather being a huge fan. However, Bachmeier initially committed to follow one of his brothers, Tiger, to Stanford, but after a coaching change both decided that BYU was where they wanted to be.
As we all know, during recruiting, Notre Dame isn't the place for everyone, and for Bachmeier, it was a bad experience. Following the game on Saturday he's explain that the Irish disrespected him and his family during the process as shared by John Brice. Bachmeier said "I wasn't going to lose to those guys," as it looked like this game was personal for him.
It's hard to say exactly what happened without more information, but whatever it was, it soured Bachmeier's relationship with Notre Dame and the staff.

The World Series matchup isn't set in stone just yet, but Tampa Bay took a major step towards being the one that will face Milwaukee in the Fall Classic. They took two out of three in Cleveland to return home with a 3-2 series lead heading into a big Game 6 tonight, where they'll start Freddy Peralta who has been dealing this postseason while the Guardians will scramble to piece their way through a bullpen game after having to get 21 outs from their relievers yesterday. Thanks to the postponed Game 4 eating up the travel day, even if they do win tonight they'll also be forced to play the potential do-or-die Game 7 on four straight days without a night off — it's not looking pretty for Cleveland, to say the least.

FC Bayern welcome ****** nal to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening (21.00 CEST) for Matchday 3 of the Champions League. The Munich side faced the Gunners in the league phase last season too – and, after five consecutive matches against them without defeat (four wins), suffered a 3–1 defeat at the hands of Mikel Arteta's team in London. Now, FCB are out for revenge on their home turf, and as our ****** ysis of the facts shows, the prospects of that are pretty good.
Of the seven home games against the Gunners to date, the Munich men have lost just one and come away as winners on five occasions. The record champions have won all three of their most recent encounters in Munich – including two by a margin of at least four goals.
Overall, too, the head-to-head stats favour the Bavarians. In 15 Champions League meetings, FCB have won eight of them, three have ended in a draw and ****** nal have won four times. This means the London side have lost 53 per cent of their matches against FCB – of all the opponents the Gunners have faced five times or more in major European competition, they have a higher loss rate only against Barcelona (67 per cent – six defeats from nine matches).
The league phase of the Champions League and Munich's Allianz Arena – from FC Bayern's perspective, they're a perfect match: since a 3–2 defeat to Manchester City in December 2013, the German record champions have not lost a home fixture in the Champions League group stage/league phase. Of the 39 home games at that stage of the competition during this period, they've won 37 (with two draws) – most recently, they've even recorded nine consecutive home wins.

Bengaluru: For Tilak Varma, the number next to his name on the team sheet matters far less than the one on the scoreboard at the end of the match.

The India T20I vice-captain has seen his role evolve considerably in recent months, moving from the top order to the finisher's role as the team continues to fine-tune its combinations. While adapting to different batting positions is rarely straightforward, the 23-year-old has embraced the challenge and put the team's needs ahead of personal preference.

Having begun his T20I career near the top of the order, Tilak now often finds himself walking in at No. 5 or 6. With Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma opening, Ishan Kishan firmly established at No. 3 and skipper Shreyas Iyer occupying the next slot, opportunities higher up the order have become limited.

Rather than viewing it as a setback, Tilak sees it as another responsibility to master.

"Ishan is batting brilliantly at No. 3. So, for me, there is no option but to bat at 5 and 6 and do the job for the team. I am mentally prepared for that role and in the last few games, I have won matches from there. So, I am pretty confident," Tilak said after the rain-hit series decider against the West Indies in Bengaluru on Saturday.

The left-hander admitted that the transition from a top-order batter to a finisher has not been without its challenges.

"It's not easy to change from No. 3 to No. 5 or 6. It is slightly challenging. But I have been working on how I can finish games, and I love finishing games for the country," he said.

The demands of batting in the lower middle order are vastly different from those of a top-order role. There is little time to settle in, and the emphasis is on making an immediate impact rather than constructing an innings. Tilak said he has consciously altered his preparation to meet those demands.

"I have been working on it in the nets. Otherwise, it becomes tough. When you go in as a finisher and a slower ball comes into your arc, you need to be ready to hit it for six. In T20 cricket, if you bat at No. 5 or 6, you generally get only five or six overs, so I have had to change my approach."

Fortunately for Tilak, batting down the order is not entirely new territory.

"I batted lower down the order in my childhood as well. I have shots all around the ground and I am confident in my ability to adapt. Whether it is No. 3 or No. 5, I believe I have the technique to fit into any role for the team if I prepare well," he said.

Buffalo Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson faced backlash from the NFL world after getting ejected from the Week 6 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. He appeared to spit on Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, right after the Bills received a defensive holding penalty in the second quarter.
But Gardner-Johnson came to his senses pretty quickly. Talking to the media inside the locker room, he acknowledged that what he did was wrong. He let his emotions take control in the heat of the moment. That's certainly something that no veteran should do. Hence, he took to his Instagram Story and shared an apology.
"I want to take a moment to address my actions and sincerely apologize to my opponent, my teammates, my organization, and everyone who supports me," Gardner-Johnson wrote. "My passion and competitive nature have always been a huge part of who I am, but I also understand that there is a line that should never be crossed. The gesture I made toward my opponent was inappropriate, unnecessary, and not a reflection of the respect I have for him or this game."
Gardner-Johnson further noted that there's "no excuse" for spitting on his opponent, regardless of the intensity of the competition. He is playing his eighth season this year, making him a responsible figure in the Bills locker room.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker has made it a weekly tradition to surpass the already-high expectations of Chiefs Kingdom. If he didn't blow our minds enough by gashing the Denver Broncos for 173 yards on the ground in the season opener, he doubled down against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4 with 177 yards and a 76-yard run that turned the game in the second half.
Coming out of the bye week, there was reasonable speculation that rookie running back Emmett Johnson would spell Walker to keep the talented lead back fresh. Instead, Walker took the load again, gaining 139 yards from scrimmage on 21 touches.
None of his carries matched the long touchdown run that gave the Chiefs an early 9-0 lead over the Los Angeles Chargers.
On third-and-1, quarterback Patrick Mahomes came out of an under-center formation to hand off to Walker off counter action; right guard Trey Smith and second-year tight end Jake Briningstool made the key blocks to spring him in the first quarter.
"The 33-yarder was pretty open," Walker said in his post-game press conference. "(Tight end) Jake (Briningstool) came across and kicked out; there left was open."

Dua Lipa was in the Bronx on Wednesday night to watch the New York Yankees get eliminated from the MLB Playoffs by the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays beat the Yankees, 4-3, to complete the sweep and advance to the American League Championship Series.

Meredith Marks says she scheduled a facelift in the middle of her DJ tour and was performing again about 12 days after surgery.

Costco is famously rooted in Washington state, with its headquarters in Kirkland (which is also the name of its signature brand) and its first official store operating out of Seattle's industrial SoDo neighborhood. But did you know that the wholesale club behemoth can trace its true origins much further south, and to a famous connection? As it turns out, a line can be drawn from Costco to Howard Hughes, the famous movie producer, aviator, and eccentric business tycoon.
Among his many properties, Hughes once owned a rather large warehouse in San Diego, California, that was eventually turned into an early wholesale store called Price Club. It went on to merge with Costco in the 1990s, forever cementing the Costco-Hughes connection. Sure, it may not be the strongest celebrity-Costco connection ever, and Hughes himself never set foot inside one of the chain's stores, but it's one that Costco can be proud to have as part of its storied history nonetheless.

While it's unclear exactly how long Howard Hughes' San Diego building served as a hangar, or if any remodeling was done prior to its wholesale club days, what is known is that it reopened as Price Club in the summer of 1976 after being purchased by local businessman Sol Price and his son, Robert. It looks pretty similar today compared to old photos of the building in its Price Club days and as an aviation hangar, with its vaulted ceilings and massive walls. The coolest part though? If you're a history buff in San Diego, you can actually go shop at the Costco that once housed Hughes' airplanes (assuming you're also a Costco member, of course). The store sits on Morena Boulevard, at the exact same address as its preceding incarnations.

A recent candid photo of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry going on a lunch date has sparked fresh debate online. The images show the couple holding hands in the Cotswolds, and while most saw a normal couple spending time together, one commentator sees something else in them. Commentator Link Lauren shared his views in a video clip posted on X where he spoke about the couple's "romantic pub date" and their "first photos together since UK return." "It's pretty much known across the UK at this point in aristocratic circles and the press. They are conscious uncoupling," he claimed.
As a result, Lauren argued that the hand-holding photos were a response to this. Meghan, he said, wanted to be seen "staking her claim" over her husband. M*A*S*H star Alan Alda recently sat down with CBS Sunday Morning's Dr. Jon LaPook, revealing a nightmarish story from his childhood. When the actor was seven, he battled polio, and like tens of thousands of other Americans during the 1950s and 60s, the now-eliminated virus left Alda with serious symptoms at the time.
Alda explained, "I had polio before there was a vaccine. It was pretty hard to experience." He continued, contextualizing the experience, "My father had just gotten a huge part, his first big part, playing George Gershwin in the biopic of Gershwin. And about a week after he started shooting, I got polio." Of course, Alda was referring to Robert Alda, the vaudeville, Broadway, and alter, film star.
And here's where the story takes an even scarier turn. "He and my mother had to administer the treatment, which was almost scalding hot packs of wool on every limb. So they're practically torturing their kid. I remember thinking it was hard on them. There's a little bit of empathy. But I knew it was hard for them." Despite the harsh treatments, Alda was, as he described, "All stiff and I couldn't walk. I was affected in every limb but one arm."
If you're wondering what Carol Burnett has to do with the M*A*S*H star's scalding wool treatment, he shared, "She lived about two blocks away while I was in my house with polio. I would stand on the bed and look out the window and see kids playing, and I was waiting for the time I'd be out there playing with them."

OK, if you were on the Internet at all this weekend, you probably heard about Taylor Swift's surprise appearance during her pal Dakota Johnson's SNL episode. At the weekend, Princess Diana's niece shared a beautiful picture of her three-year-old daughter, Athena, on her travels, wearing the sweetest white dress emblazoned with a pretty cherry print - a huge summer trend for 2026.

Kellon Deryck will never forget the day he met Megan Thee Stallion. It was 8 years ago, and the celebrity hairstylist was trying to keep it professional on his first job with the rapper. But Megan wasn't having it, he recalls, laughing.
"I'm normally pretty shy when I first meet someone, so the first day we worked together, I was quiet; I was just there to do my job," he explains. "She **** near tickled me into laughing and talking like, 'Who is this up in here? Who are you?' She made me show my personality. She pulled it out of me." And from that day forward, they were inseparable.
"Even when we're not at work, we're on FaceTime talking about what we're about to do next or how our night was, what we ate, and what TikTok we're about to do, and what food we want to try," says Deryck. "We literally do everything together."

The Boston-born, Atlanta-bred hair pro has been behind some of Megan's most unforgettable hair moments, from 2025's Met Gala, for which he crafted an artful, architectural copper-red ponytail inspired by Josephine Baker, to the towering, out-of-this-world sculptural updo he molded for InStyle's September cover. "I always know what story she's trying to tell with her hair," Deryck explains. And over the years, he and Megan, ever the hair chameleon, have done nearly "every kind of look." Their résumé runs the gamut from candy-colored finger waves and Marie Antoinette poufs to jet-black clouds of curls, glossy flipped bobs, Old Hollywood waves, and Rapunzel-length tumbles. Sean "Diddy" Combs is reportedly spending thousands of dollars monthly to live a pampered life at Fort Dix federal prison.
According to NBC News, who spoke with four former inmates who were once in the same unit as the 56-year-old, Diddy has allegedly been paying inmates to cook, clean, and even give him massages. The former inmates claim he accessed contraband phones, antidepressants, and alcohol.
"This is not some normal s**t you see in jail. This is some rich ***** ," a former prisoner told NBC News. "It looks crazy, but again, it's Diddy."
"Pretty much the day he arrived, the party started," said another inmate source.

As people discuss the love lives of British royals, it's hard not to be curious about the ones who got away. Although one of Harry's exes could have become a royal, and one of Meghan's exes could have watched her do more with her acting career, things seemed to have worked out for the best.
